Finally , Here the link to new blockchain design : http://95.85.62.252:2750/chain/Anoncoin
Still making a lot of improvements in it.
Feel free to give feedback on design.

Awsome, fell of the chair! Will donate asap! Smiley

Hey meeh,  why does it seem that you and your team are less active ?
Have you dumped the coin or something ? Anoncoin supporters are starting to worry, and alot have sold their shares.
What is update on zerocoin ? or any other anonymous solution, your idea is gold abt anonymity it would be a shame to see another coin snatch that and get really popular.

I'm moving apartment in real life this week, so I'm a bit offline. But I got some changes to Anoncoin I soon will push, as well as a new blog post about zerocoin, and related. - We're not more or less active than before Smiley

Also, seems like we're getting I2P routers in C++ now, this means Anoncoin can maybe have an built-in router, or at least a "bundle" package Smiley

Following those projects closely;
https://github.com/orignal/i2pd
.. And this seems to be on I2P only, http://git.repo.i2p (Project name: i2pcpp)

Finally, Anoncoin 0.8.5.6 is released!

The new client will warn people using clearnet connections. Clearnet is internet, unencrypted without the usage of I2P or Tor. For pool operators which should run their wallet on clearnet can disable this with the stfu=1 flag. People that don't have a anoncoin.conf file will get it written by a Wizard while starting Anoncoin. The Wizard will ask if you run I2P or Tor, if you run one or both, it can autoconfigure the client to use I2P, Tor or both.

New features/changes:

* Leveldb
* More return params in RPC getinfo
* Tracking of moneysupply in blockchain
* Coin Control
* Darknet setup Wizard
* Lower fees, minimum fee are now 0.002 ANC

Windows and OSX binaries are released here:

https://anoncoin.net/downloads/0.8.5.6/

The download link is not working, can you please update it?

Maybe you should fire the "PR/Press" guy.  There is obviously no good PR occuring and he seems more involved in Battlecoin..

Hi All,

Cryptocoin newb here, I cannot get this wallet to work. I have only got Tor installed. I have downloaded the latest client today, And let it install automatically advising it i have tor installed, Once it opens it says "no block source available" and in the bottom right shows 0 connections....I dont have anything else crypto coin related installed on this PC (no bitcoin clients etc etc) I have tried modifying the conf file to change the port from 9050 to 9150 to match the tor config but still nothing (i havent modified anything else, so the rest are default settings in the conf file). When i try to change the 9050 to 9150 setting within the wallet, when i hit apply button and it reverts back to 9050 , greys it out and unchecks the option (which i think might be the issue) ? Or do i need to do more editing in the conf file ? I hope this is the right place for this question, would appreciate any help from anyone with some spare time to assist.

Could you please post your config file? Remove rpcuser & rpcpassword since we're not interested in your pw.

Alternatively you can try add some nodes.

Not sure but I've been mining on http://anc.coinpool.in/ for a couple months straight now.

They're very stable and never seem to go down.

I keep getting the following error when running anoncoind on Ubantu:

Failed to connect to SAM(111)
Created a new SAM session (HNTTJ)  from another (BEILZLXM)
Closing SAM session (HNTTJ) ...
Failed to connect to SAM(111)

Failed to connect to SAM(111)
Created a new SAM session (LKDHF)  from another (BEILZLXM)

Failed to connect to SAM(111)

Is this normal? It's quite annoying to see it.

Also, the build from: https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin
state:     "errors" : "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for mining or merchant applications"

Should I be using a different version?

Thanks!

Edit: I only allow specific ports open (going out) so if there is a port that need to be opened other than the usual ones for anoncoind please let me know.

this happens when i2p is not running, or if the client SAM inside i2p isnt enabled.
if you disable i2p, it stops trying to connect to it.
