sorry for being negative
but here comes the block from hell again
please let me be wrong

Cheer up my man!  We are only at 29.83% and every block is expected to be at 100% Cheesy

I think it’s safe to say we’re in the block from hell now. 🤦‍♂️
Oh come on, it's just barely over 100%, what's the problem?  I usually say "put the bong down" however in your case you need to "pick the bong up" and CHILL!!  Cool  Keep it up and YOU'RE going to jinx us!  Roll Eyes

I deleted it rather quickly after I received it this morning...  Tongue
I suspect it's a repercussion of the BiteMe hack some time ago when they lost a lot of customer info.  I had to reset my password for them after it happened, as did many others.  Oh well... Mine on!!  Wink
665  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Japan’s GMO Plans to Sell 7nm Bitcoin Mining Boards Using Token Sale on: October 26, 2017, 04:03:54 PM
Hmmmm, a PCIe card edge connector can handle 300 watts?  The MB this card is to be plugged into can deliver 300W to the PCIe slot(s)?

Really?  Huh    Roll Eyes

Not accurate, luck has meaning only in the past.  We have no way of knowing when the next block will hit, and only then can the 'luck' for it be calculated.  Best you can say is "maybe"  Cheesy

Agreed
But if we are following a trend. Then we are in for another 900+% block. And please let me be wrong!!!
Not true, Block finding is a random process so there's no trend.  Sure, the human brain tries to find patterns in everything, even if no pattern exists.  But a 'Trend' is the same as luck in that is only has meaning historically, or hysterically!!   Shocked
But anyway we digress and are getting OT.  Time for more Block Cracking Action!  Grin
667  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why does Bitmain Antminer refuse to accept USD anymore? Only BCC payments allow? on: October 26, 2017, 01:20:54 PM
Pretty obvious they want to foist that turd of an altcoin BitCH on us to prop up its price.
I'm not going to fall for that blatant of shady dealings; too bad so many are.

Excuse me for such question but I'm new to the pool
How many blocks do we get usually /day?
Is it possible to get one more today?

with the latest luck
i doubt it

All the chickens are dead rooster as well.  Wife hates me.  Thinking of going after the dog.........BTC

do it for the pool

Not the dog...go for the cat...
Ha ha!  That's what I was thinking.  Time for chicken feasting!!  Cheesy

P.S. My best share around 21G, ~50x more and we'd be on it!!
670  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Xtract Tech- BEWARE on: October 25, 2017, 02:15:01 PM
At least the specs aren't pie-in-the-sky, endothermic chipped, unicorn fart burning nonsense!  This could be a credible unit, they're making boards of close to 10THs each?
671  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Can I Mine with a Laptop? on: October 25, 2017, 01:52:33 PM
Listen to your husband...  Wink  There's been no direct mining of Bitcoin with CPU or GPU for years now.  Only ASIC miners will mine bitcoin directly with any chance at ROI.  Check into Canaan, Ebit, BiteMe - uh I mean Bitmain, for current hardware.

...Snip
Oh and never mind kano. I think you're doing a great job!!!
I don't think there is anything wrong with your system.
I know it's just bad bad luck actually.
Exactly.  Glad to see not everyone failed Stat!
Mine on and let's crack one already!!  Tongue

I taught Stat at Cal Poly during my university days, and indeed you get LOTS of false conclusions on these boards based on emotion instead of mathematical rigor.  Funny at first, then tiring, then irritating - especially when coming from longtime members who should know better...  Roll Eyes
I'd hate to know how high kanosan's aggrivation level gets sometimes with all the noob du jours chiming in during a run of bad luck!   Cheesy
674  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Who "give" a block reward? on: October 24, 2017, 06:07:42 PM
12.5 BTC per block reward, not 25.  That was last year.  Don't post "fake news"!  Cheesy
675  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: mining bitcoin on: October 23, 2017, 09:33:39 PM
Considering all the information you posted to help with the answer, I'd say no.

678  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 fan overspeed indication (30600 rpm!) on: October 23, 2017, 02:36:48 AM
It's a known bug. Not sure what can done about it unless you aren't running the latest firmware, but updating firmware is its own thing... Roll Eyes

That would be just co-inky-dink, though we do like to try and goad kanosan into doing a restart when we run into a killer block sometimes just for sh!ts and giggles... Cheesy

180PHs on your pool, kanosan...  Smiley  I guess if you believe in Moore's "Law" it's to be expected, but it's still a pretty major milestone. And if we're extrapolating, get ready for the day Kano pool hits 1 EHs.  Unless something unforeseeable happens to the BTC network, it's only a matter of time!  Less than 2 years if my prognostication is accurate.  Roll Eyes
Oh, and mine on with chicken in your mouth!!  Cheesy
