Can i use the XMR STAK for both amd and nvidia cards in 1 system ?
I've tried the XMR STAK 2.2 using 2 x RX580 + 1 1070 but it shows : MEMORY ALLOC FAILED: VirtualAlloc failed.
Sure, that is CPU related only, Google large pages, it's not a problem. |

Is the Blockchain driver still better for mining than the new Adrenaline? I´m playing around with different Bios settings for my Asus Strix RX480s but i won´t come over 27,8ms/s.
I don't have them but I got report from lot of customers that they can't switch to compute workload so you might need 17.11.4 driver instead. |

tell me, did you see Polaris Bios Editor PBE 2.0 on your site?
Could I use the same results as the ROMs you offer or are they even better adapted?
I ask, because I actually have about 12 different RIGs with different cards and before I order a ROM for each card I would just buy your Polaris Bios Editor PBE 2.0 and make it myself.
It not yet include all my timings, I need to make better logic for picking timings for the one click solution. I will include more of them in next releases with other features. But there are better timings than those bios for 5 USD of course. |

It depends on miner more then on card what driver you need. Total hashrate for 2 cards -_- well 500H/s have also GTX 1060... RX 470 can do more than 900H/s. |

hey there just ran into mining and tried a few different miners. so i wanted to give SG Miner a try since its said to have the highes hashrate - couldnt manage it - is there a step by step tut or somethin? then i went on with XMRig which works just fine so far Then i tried XMR stak CPU with works out fine for my cpu. After that i decided to give the GPU version a try. - which is a little bit better then xmrig The newest version of XMR Stak though is far worse then everything else. CPU and GPU (mining simultaneously) are slower then if i just use the old XMR stak nvidia and XMR stak CPU in 2 different instances. Got 2 older GTX 970 GPUS which i OC a little bit - 1000 H/s shouldnt be a big deal but at this point i just cant make it Is there something like a blockchain driver for nvidia ? Is there something like a bios mod for my GPUS that makes em a little faster ? is there something im missing with the miner? (im currently on 16 threads and 64 blocks with seems to be the best setting so far) i tried to activate compute mode but its not possible in my nvidia control panel. is there a workaround ? best regards ll Only AMD is slower on new XMR-STAK, but they will fix it. Nvidia should be faster, but it uses different config from older Nvidia version. GTX 970 would never have 1000 H/s... not even 1070 can do that... Use Nvidia CUDA toolkit drivers. No bios mods for Nvidia... you should mine something else with your cards. If you want to mine XMR with Nvidia get some Pascals. Any info about Monero mining using FPGAs?

your latest posted bios are made for what driver version? The last adrenaline?
Trying your bios for the Saphire pulse 570 4BG ITX and the card is not getting full speed on core (1244 Mhz) Even if is set it up in msi Afterburner or in the bat file always the same the voltage is floating up and down together with the core clock.... This behavior is with 6 cards...
Any advice would be appreciated...

After a fresh install of win 10 the problem is gone with the unstable hashrate, tested 5 hours with 26.7-27.4 Mhs on ETH and ca.500 Mhs on Sia coin... BUt anyway it is not hitting the 1244Mhz bios settled just arround the 1140-1170 Mhz of processor clock.... If there is any trick to get it to 1244, please let me know. But great work, thanks again..... You need 580s if you want to push the card harder. Hi, thanks for the information. Im glad with it how its working, it was just "if" there is anything im missing... Thank you again for your good work! No you don't need that... you just need better timings. It uses Nerdralph timing for the Hynix memory and some strange Elpida timing... with better timings it can do 29-30MH/s for Elpida, the 24AJ Hynix timing is little bit tricky but 28MH/s should be there, I don't have good timing for this type but someone wrote me that he has 30MH/s with this type. |
