681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Often Do You Check Your Bitcoin Wallet Balance? on: June 16, 2016, 11:26:41 PM
If you use Bitcoin Core, one of the positive aspects of using it is that since it takes some time to load, you aren't as addicted as opening your wallet all the time :p
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Bad for the environment, taking the worlds energy - yes? on: June 16, 2016, 11:19:46 PM
It takes resources to keep secure decentralized money running, so its energy well spent, we are getting freedom with Bitcoin, freedom is not cheap.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Does it have a POSITIVE IMPACT on your life? on: June 16, 2016, 11:15:01 PM
Well, considering my purchasing power is going up and up as we speak while I do nothing but comfortably sit on my chair watching bitcoinwisdom is a pretty positive impact in my life.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: June 16, 2016, 11:08:22 PM
No government can ever ban Bitcoin, it will keep rising, the more you try to ban it the worse it will get for the governments trying to attack it: look at Russia. Rubble volume on BTC is blowing up.
685  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: June 16, 2016, 11:06:24 PM
In 20 years, if you own 21 BTC you will be rich as fuck since less than 1 million can ever own 21 BTC at the same time. By then, I should be retired and living a relaxed life.
686  Economy / Speculation / Re: 626 $ what!?!? Halving incoming.. on: June 16, 2016, 02:02:29 AM
It will keep going up after the halving too. Maybe we have a small correction of 100 dollars like the recent one thats all. Its too risky to try to play the market.. Buy and hold.

I don't think that this is the right time to buy as price already crossed $720 so its too high to invest in it, its better to hold existing coins for the halving.

That's what people said at 500, and at 600... we will go beyond ATH, so 720 is still cheap coins.

688  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: June 16, 2016, 01:48:47 AM
Damn if only OP listened to the advice to go all in on Bitcoin, he would more than double his money, at this rate we will be at 1,000$ per coin very soon.
689  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2016, 01:40:23 AM
Have to mention, that BTC already was as twice more valuable as now. Price shouldn't be considered as main success indicator.

yeah... this is the power of halving year  Cool
Im sure bitcoin can reach $1000 and the party will be started.

$1000 is not difficult to achieve now, price has already crossed $700 so we can surely expect the price of $1000 at the time of halving or even before that.

Already 730 in Bitstamp, Bitfinex hit 736.. only hours ago a correction to 625 happened. People that sold are now missing on great gains unless they bought back. We will be $1000+ in a matter of days now.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 16, 2016, 01:36:50 AM
THe people that expect to sell o the halving will be sad to find that the correction lasts very little, just like all the people that got fucked in the last hours when we corrected at 625, and now we are back to 725 and already hit 730..
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you call someone with 1000BTC? on: June 16, 2016, 01:29:14 AM
1000 it's near 1 million dollars, it's quite a bit, yet again, there are tons of new millionaires yearly.

In a decade someone holding 1000 will be a billionaire. It will be extremely rare that someone still holds as many coins by then.
692  Economy / Speculation / Re: trump just got over hillary in polls >>> Btc will go to 1000 $ on: June 11, 2016, 05:35:40 PM
chaos in politics and economy are comming.
Bitcoin is your safehaven. The last place where your money will be safe.

Trump will be the order to the chaos. Obama and his threat of martial law is what will make people flee USD in the shorter term. Hillary will be the death of America. Trump is our only hope to save this shit storm that has been brewing for the last 7 years. If Trump gets elected, the USD will probably gain strength and BTC will go down.

Are you serious? Trump might have some good points but you gotta understand that he's a bullshitter. He bullshitted his way to the top. (actually he was born in the top but his bullshit has kept him there) He's not gonna accomplish much, he's just gonna fuck shit up, get attention and then say "oh well". Even if you agree with his points, he's the completely wrong president to pick. He clearly knows nothing about PR, probably even less about international politics.

Hopefully that will be bullish for bitcoin though.

Everything you just said, you could easily replace Trump's name and insert Hillary and it would be just as true.

Hillary is a puppet, puppets tend to deliver stability.

Trump... is unpredictable, this will make markets less predictable as well, which in return helps BTC.
693  Economy / Speculation / Re: BREXIT. What will happen to Bitcoin if Britain leave/ stay in EU? on: June 11, 2016, 05:26:24 PM
I don't think UK will do bad on their own. Europe is very unstable lately, and in times of confusion, it's better to go alone. You don't know who will be your allies later on. Being independent from a big continent may be a better option.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ether so popular, despite its infinite supply? on: June 11, 2016, 05:19:09 PM
Gold s infinitive as well, at least in our lifetimes, yet, the price s stable and even going up. Why?

You can't compare gold's legendary network effect with some altcoin... that is delusional. Bitcoin can do everything eth can do with sidechains, eth can't do what Bitcoin can do since its turin complete. Honestly I think eth is doomed long term. Still a good idea to hold some for p'n'd sake.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big Vern Thanks You on: June 11, 2016, 05:16:50 PM
I lost like 30 dollars in altcoin crap because I was too lazy to get the wallets from those coins, since I was also paranoid that they would have malware I just left them there. Meh whatever. This guy must be filthy rich from all those fees now.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin will see 10$ and above 2016 on: June 11, 2016, 05:14:05 PM
I think LTC will always have the potential to pump when least expected, but personally I would buy ETH to dump it for more BTC if I wanted to speculate on future pumps.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Pump & Dump Scam on: June 11, 2016, 05:11:14 PM
this coin looks pretty good~

We all know that. The beauty of Etheruem is that it is a fuel for the smart contract system. it can also support DAO.

I heard that some companies a building a platform for smart contract based on the bitcoin. it might come out next year.

I do not think that will be able to compete with the Etheruem. Etheruem will be much popular than that.

But who would use Ethereum when you can use a sidechain token that does the same and has superior security due higher hashrate and without having to deal with another token (ETH)?

Honestly I don't see a single advantage of using ETH instead of BTC sidechains.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The DAO FAIL on: June 11, 2016, 05:07:35 PM
I think DAO still has a good one or two pumps on it before it deflates like yet another alt. ETH probably has twice the pumps before it becomes irrelevant.
699  Economy / Economics / Re: Next generation money on: June 09, 2016, 06:05:57 PM
Bitcoin is an entirely new form of money... can't argue that. It's an asset that has never existed before. You can carry billions of dollars inside a pendrive and use them anywhere in the world without no one knowing, plus all the smart contracts stuff, makes it in fact next generation money.
700  Economy / Speculation / Re: BREXIT. What will happen to Bitcoin if Britain leave/ stay in EU? on: June 09, 2016, 06:01:03 PM
I don't think UK will have the balls to leave Europe, the media will scare them once again about how leaving EU is a disaster.

If it happens get ready for $1000+ BTC easy tho.
