681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Could exchanges leverage on the current market trend to woo new investors? on: December 20, 2023, 02:43:41 PM
Just be a good exchange. Transparent and licensed and always fair fees. Make it better faster safer than a bank, now thats how you drive adoption man.

Talking about licensing and transparency, I think Bitget stands out in that plus am trying to figure out how Binance and Kucoin got into trouble just by dishing out beneficial events because I love participating in trading events and I have been doing it with Bitget and I haven't heard any ugly report about them anyways. Just like your first paragraph rightly pointed out, exchanges depending on bull market for survival will be out of business in no time and that's why ecosystem development is key. Of course some exchanges have been doing really well in that regard.

+1 I don't know Bitget but I do know that Binance (not sure about Kucoin) got really big just because they held round the clock events. Even Pancakeswap which used BSC primarily did millions per hour on a almost dead utility chain just from events.

Bull is easy, the test is bear. Binance was smart. Make the money and hype during the bull, quietly expand n the bear and "buidl" and wait for others to collapse and grow your market share.

Don't think Bitget won't get in trouble though, it's always when not if, when you're dealing with regulators.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 Oscar Awards bets and discussions on: December 20, 2023, 12:08:03 PM
Sadly, I think above discussions about "hotness of issue" will decide winner for best actress.
I disagree on your hotness issue argument. Similar to what you have speculated, Michelle Yeoh only won as the best actress because she is Asian. It might be again the same argument after the official announcement of each category if Lily Gladstone becomes the most favored nominee. She is an America native and she will be the first in history to win an oscar award for beat actress. The people behind the woke agenda might bribe and try to make this a reality, I reckon.

When I said "hotness of issue" it has nothing to do with beauty (hot). It was about how "hot" the issue related is. Asian was a hot issue and currently so is sci-fi.

That was the beginning of the woke nonsense. I push for rights and recognition but talent and rewarding of talents must be objective.

Think we all agree actually. On that note, I'm preparing to bet on Flower Moon as the winner of Best Picture. 4x odds seems really good. Now the problem only is BTC fee... 400+ satoshi per byte fee Sad

Oh damn now I have to hope City only win by 1 goal difference. Not important to outcome as opponent same answer but important to get moe goals for confidence.

Salah must score/assist but only once for me to get ahead!!

I tought about pick all NO but I do not like to pick or bet negative things same as my betting style. I do not bet unders at all. I want some things to happen  Shocked And here we are  Cheesy good luck @arallmuus

Darts? Same here man I hate betting on No also but I went with almost all "No" in this question, while jeremypwr is all "Yes"... so I'm in trouble already lol
684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges still accept credit card option? on: December 20, 2023, 08:59:50 AM
You have to search for "crypto brokers" to find that option (so there's no account wallet you just have to buy and provide your wallet address. So CRO and eToro are such examples.

Or, you go for even Futures trading (deposit credit card $, buy BTC futures).
685  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 19, 2023, 09:00:45 AM
So, yesterday, catching end of 4xRP I decided I would wager for 10 GTs (50 mbtc). It seems like a lot but if you even just roll 1 mbtc a time, 50 Multiply rolls are nothing. But I checked after rolling, found my reward points was almost up by 700k... realizing then I was rolling with extra zero lol.

So it was a happy story of about 8+mbtc profit (including unlocked bonus) and almost 20% of lottery tickets. It's dropped a lot though to only 10% now.

I felt so good I decided to spend all my WoFs too Smiley

People don't promote services in their signature for free you know, that's why they often post on random topics they don't really care.

I feel like some of my fav ANN threads like these are getting hijacked more and more by people who aren't even users!
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 19, 2023, 07:29:15 AM
Man I don't know what goes on in France with so much weird shit that's not football. And all coming from Nice. We got Galtier now accused of racism yet defended also by Turks he supposedly discriminates. That one I can't comment but the one about Atal sharing stupid crap on IG. I really think some footballers are so caught up with social media they lose their brains. They're not even kids, but behaving like teens man. Really need Nice to put up fight and not get dragged down by nonsense.

btw lol I visit this page after many months and nothing changes. 2 whole page of mostly Stake posters talking nonsense repeating news about PSG and Mbappe. No offense to you of course hahay and others, but it's just a shame because I follow this league a bit but the spam keeps me away...
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: December 19, 2023, 06:22:01 AM
Girona machine is not stopping, 3:0 against Alaves and there is a lot more time to play!
Unless some big miracle happens they are back in first place, but next one is very tricky for them with Betis.
Really impressive so far, but this run must stop at some point.

Not only that, we still underestimate them, closest this pool got was 3-1, nobody even still thinks they can dominate even after scoring 4 ahainst Barca.

I'm still far behind in the pool that I understand I need to take big risks... Girona must run into bad luck at some point as you say and Betis is immovable normally at home. Both teams together only lost 3 games so I feel like a draw is most favorable... but you know sometimes momentum is impossible to overcome!
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 Oscar Awards bets and discussions on: December 19, 2023, 05:13:47 AM
Sadly, I think above discussions about "hotness of issue" will decide winner for best actress. I'm Asian but last year's Oscar winner for best film was not deserving. I liked the movie but I think it won because it was Asian. Same as best actress. Michelle Yeoh did way better in old films but anyway. I guess I don't need to be afraid of offending anyone since I'm self-offending lol.

@Rikafip. No, I said I cannot watch Oppenheimer 4 times similar to what I did to Tenet where I liked Tenet very much on the second viewing then watched it again 2 more times. On Oppenheimer, I reckon 2 viewings is too much hehehe.
Ah, I understand. I watched Tenet only once and I have no intentions watching it ever again.

I'm ok watching it once too. The thing for me I find modern movies are way too focused on style and complicating. Oppenheimer was "cool" but I like cool until a certain extent after that it's too over the top. Tenet overcomplicated to lead audience into thinking they are "intelligent".

Best Film Oscar should always be to me something that is timeless and yet surprised everyone the first time.

I watched Oppenheimer after I watched Peaky Blinders. I kinda expected the acting!
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: December 18, 2023, 03:08:07 PM
Nice BSFL intro on the question form Smiley

Liverpool with plethora of opportunities and they couldn't convert any of it yet, with just about 18 minutes left to play, Liverpool are just doing nothing but making Onana seem like a top class goalkeeper, meanwhile most of the Liverpool shots on goal have been directed literally towards him, I'd rather this just playout as it will, and if it's going to penalties for the decider, so be it! but the worse thing that could have now is them getting 2 different goal scorers within this short frame of time left.

Onana got a lot of points for his stats but yes from the highlight reel he didn't have to do much as all shots just aimed at him. Nothing like de Gea saves. Is it weird all the press is praising United when honestly it was just Liverpool failing to finish? Konate was doing Zidane piroutte before shooting inside penalty box, that's how low Liverpool look at United now lol
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 18, 2023, 02:23:45 PM
Everton is doing relatively well in most games except the games against Manchester United where they did not show anything at all there.Liverpool I think it has a really low odd tonight against Manchester United as despite they will most likely win the odd of 1.37 is something on the lower side.

If I'm not mistaken, United won that by a lot of luck, Everton dominated in everything excep shots and goals. Which is what I was saying about points now finally reflecting the team performance. Another big Villa win while Liverpool slips up. You know what could happen next? Arsenal draw with Liverpool while Villa win wow Smiley
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: December 18, 2023, 11:54:38 AM
Also didn't realize was a different format this season, now 3rd place has to fight second place Europa group to go through last 16. That seems fairer, rather than clear progress for champions league dropouts Smiley

Indeed. Especially the absence of Sevilla must be a big relief for the current Europa League top contenders. Because Sevilla can be a quite interesting team.  Grin  Even in a season they are going on poorly in the La Liga and Champions League they can suddenly start playing totally differently if they continue on their way with the Europa League. They even won the Europa League title in exactly a season like that previously.  Cheesy

Sevilla, Villareal, to me they just bring something special, but now we must learn to do without Sevilla. Not the team I knew them to be, and we have to accept that. And now this is final season of group stage so no idea how it will look like in future, guess we can only wait to dind out.

See you all in 2 months. It's gonna be an interesting Valentines Day date. Strange I cannot find odds yet Smiley
692  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: December 18, 2023, 10:46:24 AM
But the only issue for me is that the deposit amount required is high and at the same time, those mentioned games are not my game's specs at some point, but then we look forward to seeing more new promotions as the year is about to come to an end.

Instead of commenting about how good it is to join or not and about the issue of a "high" deposit, why not just collect campaign payments for 2 weeks and deposit it to play? Wink

"We" are definitely looking forward to promos, but the rest of us actually take them at some point Wink When will we see you do this? What's your "game specs" now?
693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitwise Crypto Predictions 2024 on: December 18, 2023, 09:13:37 AM
I can't believe this is the same Bitwise that used to be at least reputable and original.

Now posting a rather basic listicle of predictions anyone in the forum could have made, and nothing even that daring, revealing or inspiring.

I am surprised that the predictions did not contain controversial news such as fees issues, platform bankruptcy, country ban, country accepting Bitcoin, a company buying Bitcoin and other news that directly or indirectly indicates the price.
All predictions are made according to the current price of Bitcoin, and it can easily be expected that the news will be positive or negative, but the truth requires a deeper look at the market.

That's something I would expect from a company supposedly investing tons into research. Not even a mention of newer technologies like new ERCs or proposals?

Taylor Swift doing NFTs when Ronaldo getting sued I don't think so.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: December 17, 2023, 04:00:25 PM
It's actually such a nice break to not be competing, so it's the great bright side of losing early, seeing everyone worry lol

Ahh my fellow loser from qualification round lol Smiley I guess the leftover division 3 folks are pretty good in some way. Its nice to have some break for the league but considering that the prizepool for division 2 is quite low, its kinda upsetting that I got knocked out pretty early from the cup. I thought I would have made it to ITM spot atleast because my chances to get top 4 spot in division 2 is now pretty slim Roll Eyes

Kudos to Cro2 for giving such tough questions, the whole spreadsheet is a river of red for most people, even Round 2 almost everyone can't get a green. When does betting start? Wink

It was pretty tough, no one made it over 3 correct answer on the 1st round

Its so nice isn't it? I wonder to be concerned that I'm happy not to be playing but at the same time I'm such in poor form maybe a reset is good for me. Don't give up, I don't think I was in top 4 last season until near the end Smiley

2nd round looks also pretty red from where I'm looking, now if I put all 10 together it doesn't look good. Definitely lucky this wasn't league round!!
695  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 17, 2023, 01:21:53 PM
Bitcasino (and now Livecasino) just set the standard so high I guess Smiley
Clever way of advertising Bitcasino and Livecasino and they do deserve high praise for various reasons like zero fee withdrawals etc, but they didn't set the highest standards in the crypto gambling market frankly speaking.

The site that accomplished that is Stake and no other crypto gambling site has been able to overtake them in the popularity department yet.

We're not talking about popularity here. I mentioned even Bitvest which is absolutely low on popularity but high on "inspiring". Which is the title of this thread. Stake is way more out there, influencers and big noise and all but er, doesn't impress me. I 100% agree they did big on marketing but look at this forum alone to understand. See the Stake posters and see the Bitcasino posters. See post history. Then you get what I mean.

But Stake didn't gain popularity because of "unique and innovative games" in my opinion... they gained popularity mainly because of the great job with marketing, and of course with paying their winners fair and square. I guess we can say that "paying out winners and good marketing" are playing a more important role than unique games.

I am not fun of Bitcasino, Livecasino, and Stake casino... they are big and I respect that, but I chose to be active in some other casinos.

No problem I can respect that. I'm big on casinos that recognize old veteran players. don't give me big headaches at withdrawal. That's category of Bitcasino and Livecasino.

For others even the ones I like, giving me KYC issues for withdrawals when I play for years... if it happens even once I never go back.

But yes, back to topic of thread, Stake is #1 in marketing, but that's nothing to do with "inspired".  Personally, I find a shame they have good money to throw around but instead of putting it to very good use, they pay a lot of terrible spam posters. I used to report so many Stake posters it got to a point I just ignore them in general.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 17, 2023, 11:54:56 AM
4 wins in a row, all with clean sheets, Everton is trying to resemble Cannavaro's Italy from 2006
and we are now above Forest, even with 10 points deduction

shame on me, didn't expect fourth win in a row, so had a draw in a pool (it was a mere hedge, but should know better)

City lost two more points, and all after 2:0 lead, that is not how titles are won

my hopes are with Tom Lockyer and Luton, that he will make it, one more situation that should not happen in football

I need to root for a new team in EPL and after La Liga not looking bright for me, I wonder if Everton is really doing something here. Villa takes the cake for sure, smashing it against the 2 best teams in the league but I need to see them dominate games all the time (they didn't versus Arsenal). Everton actually were doing that, just not getting the points. Now it is finally happening so stats finally reflecting points.

I just read about Lockyer, how is it it happened to him now 2 or 3 times, he should be getting surgery and not playing football Sad
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: December 17, 2023, 10:30:50 AM
I had to do a double take when I saw I was leading by 14 points.  Shocked
Come on guys; there's no reason why I should be "killing this pool" by that many points.

People need to stop believing in miracles. As in, I need to stop believing Sevilla can still get draws at minimum and I need to fully accept that Barca is simply not good enough with out key players.

Many seasons of losing points to above 2 teams is my recipe of loser vibes.

Good for you, 14 points is a big big lead!!

What now? Hibernation until February?
You need to cool down here anyway, so it is good for you to remember good times you had Grin
I am waiting to see the draw in few days, but my early favorites to go in next round are Real Madrid and Bayern.
La Liga has most teams from all European countries, so there is good chance one of them could win the CL trophy this season  Shocked

3 whole months of boring waiting, La Liga is not really looking hopeful for Barca, cup games is not my thing, I would really love to see us go to the final but I know nobody wants City or Real or Inter not to be there so lets see.

cryptofrka hands on prizes of course he can't wait Wink

BTW Spain and England look strong to get 5th UCL spot. United and Newcastle ruined the "guarantee" Smiley
700  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 16, 2023, 08:23:18 AM
That's been the way I felt even 2/3 years ago. Which is why I really stuck to the originals for a long time. Look at Bitvest, so simple, so basic, yet so original until today I feel good seeing it. Most recently I like Blackjackfun because it was also original, different way and feel and P2P.

But the majority of others launching are all template users, broken links, and same old slots with no promos.

Bitcasino (and now Livecasino) just set the standard so high I guess Smiley
