I had to reload the THC wallet. I deleted everything in the uses/appdata/roaming   file except wallet.dat and the wallet loads and shows my coins as unconfirmed. However the wallets is Offline with 0 active connections and won't sync. Any ideas?

did you empty the recycle bin? if not remove the existing peers.dat from the roaming folder and restore, if you did, have a look here: http://www.shadowexplorer.com/downloads.html. you can try to recover the file using shadow explorer.
failing that, i guess just leave the client running, make sure you're connectable

I see. Thanks for replies, I was under the impression it was like just leave wallet unlocked and in staking mode and it will do its thing. Clearly I need to do some more research...

...me too, but you can solo stake, IF you can keep your computer up and connectable 24/7/...

my question is (because i'm running 24/7), but on the average reboot every week/10 days, down time usually 1/2 hr or less, are my odds at hitting a score proportional to my downtime?

He probably needs a little bit more coins to get a decent pump.. good for distribution. Remember BTC when it came out and how some of us are kicking ourselves now? Well DCR has all the hallmarks.. you'll be the judge but don't think too long lol

So basically you think that Decred has the ability to surpass Ethereum ? I did not take the time to read the whole explanations, maybe I should have. What does this coin offer that Bitcoin and Ethereum don't ?

i think their effort to create a currency that is self-supporting in terms of development, that can't be taken over by the big money boys (unlike BTC) is highly admirable. viva open source ...... and decentralized credits   Cool

ya win10 = no more fun, just go to work. sad, what 'they' will - put a nag in your tray (via an update) that tempts you w/a free upgrade, that is not an upgrade

watch out for C-Cex too - they steal

Any links with some story backgrounds?
Honestly I never had any issues regarding C-Cex but am still slightly nervous due to the Cryptsy aftermath. And in a way the reputation of the place where your coin trades - reflects back on your coin. No more backyard alleys.

Connect cex have tucked a few people up with various coins. Ssd was one of them. They are basically a home for igotspots shillers and shit coins. Use if you need to but don't leave anything there

yeah, they delisted maryjane, (some bc trouble) but after problem solved chain moving fine, removed it, i lost 5k. then they were first to list VNL, but after a month or so, broke the wallet and -i guess- had no backup, they delisted it, and remited ZERO refunds, idk how many were on there, but there were many who just lost out. they made a bunch of lame excuses and pointed to their EULA.
even bittrex/richie tried to help them recover the .dat, they gave back nothing. won't be f00led by them again.

How come cgminer for decred has a maximum Intensity of 14?  ( -I 14 )   I used to mine Dogecoin in the past with this same GPU and was able to set a much higher intensity on my card to get more hashing power.  I'm now mining with I 14 on my 5850 card, but I'm sure it can handle a bit more, I don't get any hardware errors or rejects and the desktop is still very responsive. I'm running at 68 celcius..  Anyone know why that is? Is it compiled that way?

They inherited a Blake miner that made the intensity stupid - I 14 is actually I 29.

wolf0 did i read somewhere you compiled a miner for this coin ?

he did, i'm using it, seems 'bout the same as official release...

These are based off of the official Decred CGMiner GitHub sources found at https://github.com/decred/cgminer - branch 3.7, commit c172a7a62455fae62afdc7995021f5c046aab9d7 with small modifications to get it to build with my set of Win64 tools. As before, it should require no DLLs other than what ships with Windows to function. Failure to upgrade may result in rejected/duplicate shares when pool mining, and/or other bugs.

Boy, I was really missing something really basic. I was trying to run the 32 bit wallet on my 64 bit machine.  Cheesy I got confused and thought amd64 meant an amd cpu. Now I feel really stupid after my tirade last night. Sorry for dropping the F bomb last night.

32bit application should still work in a 64bit environment ...

thats strange ...

#crysx

for wiw i've a few older 32bit games that will not run on win7/64, so it goez

Here some advice there is nothing worse than going into a candy store expecting to get some sweets but coming out of the store empty handed..thats like the wallet you have..you get a transaction or reward in the bottom right of your PC only to find its not going to be rewarded to your wallet..........Fuck noblecoin & fuck your shit wallet/rewards

honestly, why so many complaints? mine seems to work perfectly. chunk size is 50k nobl
