701  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 28, 2015, 08:50:19 AM
what is the recent update?

What update? I thought HF sold all their assets for 400k$ to some Venezuelan businessman. End of story.
702  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 3x SP30 Miners - price drop on: February 28, 2015, 07:38:43 AM

704  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [February 2015] on: February 28, 2015, 04:51:20 AM
I'm not on trial here, nor do I have to prove my 'innocence'. Even so, I checked and the oldest version dropbox archived is 9th Jan 2015. There is an internet archive version here from October which shows the only description was:

Quote
Preorders?
Preorders are a recipe for disaster and puts all the risk on the buyer.

As I said, I added more descriptive text.

You are not on a trial, but when you run a public service like a "Manufacturer Guide" it is fair for everyone to know all the details behind it. Otherwise you can keep the Guide for yourself.

So let me get this straight. You run this Guide since February 2014 and only in December you decided to "add more descriptive text" surprisingly in the same time where this descriptive text would make the difference between two top manufacturers, one of them being the one that pays you big $$$.

I need a minute to puke!
705  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 28, 2015, 04:44:39 AM
I'll fwd this to barbara.

Auch. How much did you pushed it?

*cough*karma*cough*
706  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 27, 2015, 12:38:54 PM
If BTC is mined centrally only, then it's no better than the dollar. It'll be manipulated to death by those in control of the network, forcing higher & higher fees & other problems  Sad

BTW,cloud mining only makes BTC for those hosting the miners...ever!!!  Tongue

Thanks for being honest Spoondolies!!! Best of luck to those mining at home still.

Your bitcoins will still be your bitcoins even if the mining is centralized.

While you are right about the cloud mining you forgot what is SP-Tech all about. They always cared for their customers and I am sure that they will still be a viable option for "home miners" like us. I do believe that if they will offer some sort of cloud mining it will be totally different than what we had until now and customers will make money.
707  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 27, 2015, 11:45:09 AM

I thought that was AM plan from the start too. Except that it never materialized. (except a useless 500kW immersion cooling setup)
708  Economy / Securities / Re: HAVELOCK INVESTMENTS - Site will be down for maintenance until further notice. on: February 27, 2015, 11:43:50 AM
Your Bitcoins are your Bitcoins.  You will receive them as soon as possible.
...
The issue is with the site and not with our Database or the Wallet.
...
The Havelock Investments Team.

Just discovered this.

Since you admit that the issue is not with the Database or the Wallet then why not prove it?
709  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [February 2015] on: February 27, 2015, 10:19:00 AM
The criteria did not change, nor the way that I enforce it. In December I added more descriptive text to all the criterion so I didn't have to keep repeating myself throughout the thread - the descriptions act as an FAQ. For example I was asked what was company size about 20 times which you can search for in this thread.

Exactly what am I a hypocrite about?

Why not post the differences of the text for everyone to see it? Show us what was written pre-December so we can compare to the present text. Will you do it or will you chicken out?
710  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: [ANN] Armory 0.93 Official Release on: February 25, 2015, 06:42:16 PM
I'm glad armory might be getting paid business. Armory #1

Armory has been absolutely solid

I agree with you. I love and support Armory!
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: February 25, 2015, 04:44:09 AM
This thread is so much better when you aren't posting to it.
Very little of what you have to say is of any value. Mostly you just seem attack people.
What do "start-ups that fail" have to do with this thread? Nothing.
Please stop.

Have you seen all icetard posts in this thread? What about the useless long posts of traincarswreck about "Ideal Money" and about Poker that are totally offtopic? Wait you didn't.

Here are some example that support my words:
- useless poker post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=941331.msg10403690#msg10403690
- useless alien post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=941331.msg10422558#msg10422558
- useless pyramids post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=941331.msg10442877#msg10442877

I invite you to do the same with my posts in this topic, but I know that you will not do it. I only attacked people that deserve it and that shouldn't have any credibility here. (like icetard and 3-4 MP sockpuppet account which were revealed by me). Paying some attention helps!

People like icetard shouldn't have any credibility on this forum after he supported/defended a "failed" (scammer) company like HashFast that embezzeled tens of millions from its customers leaving them empty handed. He is obviously bad intended and he is only pursuing his own agenda so that's why people shouldn't believe any word from him.
712  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 3x SP30 Miners on: February 24, 2015, 03:58:13 PM
Price cut! $1,600 for one unit!
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: February 24, 2015, 10:29:01 AM
oh please.. is that the best ya got?
since when you qualify for 'complicated stuff'?

edit: +1@icebreaker +1@newliberty for the weighted arguments (+1@danielpbarron for teh lulz Lips sealed)

Well I thought it's obvious that it was an ironic comment about the "complicated stuff".

As for the weighted arguments...well "Under a full load, blockchain space/priority will simply become priced at market rates instead of being subsidized like in the past." is far from being weighted. It's simply biased. Blockchain shouldn't be priced at market rates. It should be open just like any other protocol. Icetard and you seem to fail to understand that Bitcoin is a protocol and it should follow the rules of a regular protocol like TCP/IP.
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: February 24, 2015, 09:23:24 AM
Exactly.  Gavin's GigabloatCoin is being sold to us based on the fear that plain old Bitcoin will explode if people actually start using it.
No such thing will happen so long as we keep the system antifragile, which includes maintaining a defensible/diverse/diffuse/resilient network.
Under a full load, blockchain space/priority will simply become priced at market rates instead of being subsidized like in the past.
It's just like Uber.  If too many people want to use the service, Surge Pricing kicks in and cheapskates can wait around for a taxi or bus instead.

Go and support start-ups that fail and lose tens of millions of $ from its customers! It's what you do best!

Stop involving in complicated stuff like the increase of the block size.
715  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 24, 2015, 05:25:46 AM
I can tell you one thing, AM has just hired some new staffs! It's not a secret, many chinese know that.

What kind of staff? Did they hired a PR guy or this was left out again?
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: February 24, 2015, 05:22:42 AM
Bitcoin is money.
The blockchain is big enough as it is right now.
The huge blockchain is driving people away from the full node.

Bitcoin is a protocol, not money because you want it to be so. Move along.

MP is certainly no fan of altcoins.  Neither is Theymos or tvbcof or NewLibery or sardokan or davout or Pete Dushenski.

I missed the reason why davout opposes the hard fork. He just likes to be against it because it's hip.

IT'S NOT THE FUCKING "HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS" IT'S THE FUCKING BANDWIDTH.

It's not only the fucking USA that counts in the Bitcoin world. Other countries have cheap bandwidth costs.

GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK FUCKING SKULL! Tard, go and support some failed start ups because that's what you do best!
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can run a full node, and that's OK on: February 24, 2015, 05:08:36 AM
Personal cost and personal benefit.
Unless you tell me the community is going to pay for this 1tb SSD ?
Don't get me wrong, i personally run a full node. The comment he made was just retarded.

You don't need a 1TB SSD. A regular 1TB HDD is $50 on Amazon. As for benefit, instead of complaining maybe think for yourself for a bit. You help securing the Bitcoin network and you need to pay a little fee for this. When you use your regular bank account the fees that the bank takes from your account provide you physical security of your money, computer security, online access to your bank account and many other various services. If you think these services are free you are mistaken.

719  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 23, 2015, 08:45:41 PM
We intend to allow quick upgrade between our 3rd and future gens.
We'll probably manufacture the hashing boards closer to the packaging house and ship them by air, while the chassis will be shipped by sea or be manufactured closer to the deployment locations.

I just came back to read this. I'm pleased by the news.

We won't take pre-orders until the technology will be proven. Afterwards, we might, depending on the market and our funding situation. I find it very unlikely.

I want to do another pre-order GB just for the fun of it! (also for the betting)

Group Buy.

Problem Solved.

If I arrange one will you be the first?  Grin

The group buys were nice PR, not a real commercial success.

You can never have enough PR.

Our warehouse here is ready with 1.5 MW transformer and 2 cent per kw power.

Do you work with small customers or only bulk?
720  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 3x SP30 Miners on: February 23, 2015, 07:21:36 PM
Is shipping cost worldwide or just america?

Worldwide.
