I just sent you 20 coins, best I can do atm. I hope that your wallet can get back on track! The whole situation is unfortunate but as a silver lining was an eye-opener as far as security goes. One security suggestion that I don't think has been mentioned yet is that for most keyloggers a virtual keyboard (included in Win10) can't typically be detected. That being said never use the same password as for anything else. If you are, I'd recommend salting them. Best of luck!

I am researching the Box by bitdefender. Do you or anyone else have experience with it? http://www.bitdefender.com/box/No problem. Your disaster reminded me that I needed to increase the security on my own box and paying 100 dmd for that reminder instead of loosing it all it well worth it. I recommend running both Malwarebytes and Forticlient. Both are free and both found the ccminer virus, though I recommend the premium version of Malwarebytes (You can get the premium version free, if you know what I mean). I am deploying Forticlient to 80 PCs (20 done so far) to replace crappy Mcafee and Forticlient has found malware/viruses on every box deployed to that Mcafee missed. Wow - ok - I will look into those two products. I have heard of Malwarebytes but will research Forticlient. Thank you again for your donation and information. |

I am also considering creating a new Linux machine that has limited access to the internet just for the wallets. I have a buddy coming over this weekend to help me organize it. Shit pokey... I've been thinking... I could be completely off here, so correct me if I'm wrong  ! What happens when someone alters the code, and compiles himself. Removing the superfly address, and change it to his own address? In theory his coins can be accepted on the network right? and his fee will just return to his own wallet? He is then still paying the fee, his wallet just sends it to a different address then everybody else.. This will not set one on his own fork I think.. Since the main chain is still being used to transact the coins. Again, I could be totally off here.. so feel free to correct me on this thought.. @BanzaiBTC - Yeah - I got a royal screwing. They trojan virused me and apparently had a keylogger. I downloaded a new ccminer which I thought was Tpruvots 1.7.1 - Which in hind site after checking his Github - he never posted a 1.7.1 - Had my coins stolen and dumped all within 30-45 minutes. They only coins he didn't get believe it or not are my Chipcoins, Woodcoin, and some Vanillacoin that was on (2) other computers. All in all he dumped everything for about $10 worth of BTC - if the moron had any brains he would have realized the value of the Spreadcoin, Diamondcoin, Vanillacoin, Flycoin, and Ambercoin were well over $30k USD or higher if he held them. But I guess he was just in it for a quick buck at the expense of another human being. |

@AmbercoinDev - all of my coins and wallets were stolen yesterday - all of my coins including my Amber has been dumped on the market. How do I go about getting my 2015 Q3 and Q4 dividends and how can I vote my shares? Please advise. I have never had coins stolen before and I had a lot of them!
It's a pity that accident like this happened. This fact will not affect your Q3 and Q4 dividends amount. To vote you need to send only 1 Amber from your registered wallet address. If you doesn't control your registered wallet then you should send your new wallet address. And we will change your registered wallet address in the list to a new one. @AmbercoinDev - I am downloading a new wallet and will use the original email I used to change the address - I will send 1 Ambercoin to that address for the 103,000 Amber that were stolen from me. I am happy to know I will at least get some of my BTC back - which WILL help me. |

I keep my wallet encrypted, and open only for minting, i keep all my passwords on Keepas password wallet, and i open it only to put password on sites and then close it.
I use a good firewall on my ADSL line (Fritz box), and i keep up to date antivirus and antimalware (Avira free and Malwarebytes).
I try to donwload software only from the original sites.
On the net from the beginning of the internet era, i didn't take any virus (until now)...
by more than one year, for every search on the web that could lead to encounter dangerous site, i've downloaded vmware player and created a virtual machine with an ubuntu distro, and i use this to surf the web.
Hope some of this advices will help you.

Hello all - I am still licking my wounds today and would like to thank you for the collection and well wishes. I will be coming back to Diamond albeit slowly. I need to get my computer in order and if it isn't too late @Cryptonit I will keep my shares. If it is too late then no big deal. However I obviously need to change the wallet address they are being sent to. I will work on changing out a new wallet this weekend and post it here. I will start up my miners again and slowly start to accumulate the coins I have been over the past couple years. Once again - thank you all. I am moved the way you all have come together for me.
