701  Economy / Economics / Re: Supply and demand curve analysis, why Bitcoin does or does not change price. on: May 31, 2019, 06:05:14 PM
My prediction is Bitcoin will be quiet steady for today. I expect the price might fall down a bit, do not expect any drastic movement in price to go up, because there is quite an elastic supply for 2.5k bitcoins.

On what basis this prediction is made, making bitcoin market movements and value changes is really hard and even if you are able to take in all the factors and bring out a semi accurate analysis, it will still be not similar to what might happen, the predictions that are made don't take in consideration the factor of bull runs that might accrue or a big volume of people buying if the price goes up, and a supply increase if the price goes down which is when most people start considering cashing .
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet The Man Behind who started "india wants crypto" Movement on: May 31, 2019, 04:59:36 PM

Nischal Shetty, who is the founder of WazirX. WazirX is India’s most trusted Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency exchange. The vision behind this excellent product is basically to involve every Indian in the Blockchain revolution.

He decided to raise his voice on behalf of thousands of youth started “India Wants Crypto” campaign,

Will the Indian government legalize crypto in India? let me know
There are lot of people who uses bitcoin and cryptocurrency in India, and having the government not legalize it will influence in a bad way investors and business who relay on it, the decisions of it to be regulated was suggested a while back but the government refused, and with the reelection of the same people i don't think there is a chance of it being accepted even if there was a huge movement like this guy is trying to do, the only way they could accept it is if the government had new people with vision to the future and know and understand what crypto and bitcoin could do.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna phase out very soon? on: May 31, 2019, 04:28:07 PM
I have been playing into some few ICO projects lately, and the reality is that I lost a lot of money due to the domination of the bear market and uncertainty of the projects going forward.

As the old saying goes, more than 90% of those projects are either scams, failed to reach soft cap, or not getting any traction in the next few months or so.

Maybe it’s because ICOs are not regulated and investors like me holds all of the risks.

Until now, there are still new ICOs emerging. However, there are also new ones such as STOs (security token offerings), IEOs (initial exchange offerings), and so on. It seems that both STOs and IEOs are already being considered the next big thing in raising crypto funds for starters.

With their ongoing emergence, are ICOs gonna be over soon? Are they gonna saturate and may phase out due to projects turning to STOs and IEOs?

I wanna know about your thoughts regarding this one, and I would greatly appreciate it whether if you agree or not with my opinion. Thank you in advance.
ICOs are just a big jole to be honost, they only saw some popularity back in late 2017 when people were all bout the cryptocurrency and bitcoin was way up high they could not invest in it, and after a couple of successful ICOs  the market started being flooded with them and it became harder to tell the good ones from the ones that are scams, so they started going down in terms of interest, and people lost hope in these project and i am sure that its a matter of time before ICO just be forgotten and another trend will take its place.
704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: May 31, 2019, 12:06:14 AM
I am prepared myself for trading. But i need some suggetions from here. There are many way for trading in cryptocurrency. But i need correct one which is profitabe. I am prepared myself for day trading. Is it profitabe?
Since you seem to be a starter i suggest that you stay away from day trading for now, not that it is not profitable and you can't make good money from it but it really requires a lot of market knowledge and a lot of analysis and making the right choice at the right time, you should start at just regular trading and probably try to trade bitcoin since its probably the easiest and after a while when you think that you have a basic knowledge and you made successful trades multiple time than you can expand to other ways of trading including day trading.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020 on: May 30, 2019, 11:47:29 PM
I am Just see a news.
And i am existing for it.
Facebook like to launch a cryptocurrency!

I think this project successful easily. Becuse, Facebook is most public social site. Many many people use Facebook for communication.

I see this news on: BBC News
Link: www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/business-48383460
Well i honestly think that it is highly overrated and over hyped, do we really need a coin to use on Facebook, Instagram or wahtsup, sure they are popular and it will think that it will be successful  at first because people know that facebook has already an wide established number of people, but people will realize that it will be kind of useless, i think that this is an attempt of make huge profit from the company and ride upon the idea of making a coin, but it will die out after a couple of months after its launch.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which industries will get disrupted by Decentralized Blockchain Technology? on: May 30, 2019, 11:30:33 PM
Which industries do you think will get disrupted by Decentralized Blockchain Technology the most? In terms of real world use case applications of Decentralized Blockchain Technology, which ones would you say will have the greatest positive impact in the world.
Probably the most one that will actually be affected by decentralized blockchain are banks and government and that is due to the fact they are heavily relying on fiat and centralization, with this technology slowly taking over most of the industries and with it becoming popular i think that government will go towards making fiat digital with the blockchain, but if they do that it has to be centralized so they can control it and monitor the transactions, and the is not what blockchain supposed to be, and that would kind ruin it and disrupt it.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will they ever find Satoshi Nakamoto? Make your prediction... on: May 26, 2019, 02:21:32 AM
Satoshi has made himself anonymous from the beginning, and he knew exactly what he signed up for by creating the bitcoin, and therefore he defiantly has hidden any trace of his identity or anything that might lead to his real identity, therefore id on't think that he will ever be found, if people false claiming that hey are satoshi got this much attention imagine if the real one was revealed, the world would actually burn on fire, so i don't think he will reveal himself even to his dying breath.
708  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin transactions costs in the future on: May 26, 2019, 01:52:06 AM
In theory this all seems to logical and could actually work, but you have to keep in mind that bitcoin is unpredictable, and solar panels are not cheap and generating enough power to actually make some profit requires a large amount of investment, an investment that only a small percent of the people that are rich will actually go for it, and since as i said that bitcoin is unpredictable and the price could change at any moment so the overall investment and profit is inconsistent so the return on the project will take a lot of time, talking about 10 or 20 years.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Steven Wright: A False Prophet in Crypto on: May 26, 2019, 01:39:37 AM
What really surprises me the most is not him claiming that he is the creator of bitcoin, because we knew that at first because there were many before him that were claiming the same thing , but him going as far as taking it to the court and providing false evidences of early address that the first transactions were sent from and with him having any of the private keys for them, i personally hope that he gets sewed and punished for his false claims in order to make an example from him to anyone who is trying or think about doing it in the future, besides people are giving him attention which exactly what his kind really wants.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Give up in crypto (my experience) on: May 26, 2019, 01:15:31 AM
I joined crypto last year as a noob, then started learning how to trade, do & airdrops. I kept learning until I decided to start trading myself. I got rekt on several occasions yet I kept the fire burning. I became tired of the hustle after buying into a coin which was delisted causing a massive dip, I had put in 5000$ in that coin and it turned 600$ overnight. Then I decided to take a bow.

I was encouraged by my mentor not to give up, I took it as a cock and bull story initially, I created a bitcointalk account later, scrolling through some forums just reading and learning from pro in crypto space. I decided to give it a second one try.

I added a few coins to my portfolio and abandoned them. Recently I got sacked from my job for no justifiable reason, then the only thing I could think about is crypto. I checked my portfolio yesterday, my 600$ then turned 7200$. Please always be patient. Buy into coins with great future , give it time, never panic sell. I hope you learn from my experience.
It is always recommend to be patient and just hold the coins that you believe in in order to make profit, and having a wide variety of a portfolio helps in increasing you wins and minimizing your losses, but also you need to know what coins to pick, it might have been easy for you to make that profit from coins you picked last year, but nowadays the market is full of shitcoins that makes it really hard to tell the good ones from the bad ones, but it is always good to be positive and keep hope in the ones that know that are good.
711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you think so please stop! on: May 26, 2019, 12:57:01 AM
You just don't take any decision from any one on forum or internet just to cash out without doing your own analysis. On what basis will some group of people fud about a coin so all do panic rewarding? If you are a season trader you just don't wake up and make trading decision base on what the populace is chanting.
Not totally, trying to make decision only based on what you believe and not paying any attention to what other people do is not always good, because this market is drived buy how the community reacts and do and  reading what others are going to do and their opinion from the forum for example is a good way to help you make a decision, i say the ones that you really should not take any ideas from are the people who claim to say that the know or speculate about the price.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coin on: May 26, 2019, 12:35:38 AM
Pls I'd like to be enlightened on the importance of stable coin in the crypto space... I hear Facebook coin will be a stable currency... what are the use of stable coins??
They are useless, honestly stable coins are just centralized coin that they have a fixed release price that doesn't change, and it is created for the reason to be used on a specific platform, like what is happening with facebook, they are creating the new coin GlobalCoin in 2020 that is going to be used on Instagram, whatsup and Facebook, stable coins are not that popular among the crypto community because they are centralized and have no profit from them.
713  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin on: May 26, 2019, 12:16:31 AM
The blockchain technology has opened a lot of opportunities and a lot of ideas for businesses to either to be created to enhance existing ones, one of the examples that i can think of are one is In Ghana where there is a blockchain based company that lets people register their lands and properties on the blockchain which helps the government fix the lawsuits about who owns what, and that was received very well by people because once it is registered no one can change it, the blockchain is still something new but many people are starting to implement it into our lives and soon it will be used worldwide.
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese citizens could safely hold Bitcoin on: May 25, 2019, 11:15:08 PM
As title said "Chinese citizens could safely hold Bitcoin", just read a article from Ethereumworldnews, you might read that article for more details "China: Hodling Bitcoin (BTC) and P2P OTC Trading is Legal".

However, this is a good news for Chinese crypto users. They could hold bitcoin legally without fear of government. I think the positive impact of this news would reflect on bitcoin price.

What you think about it?
I think that this is a really fantastic , since the news about the Chinese government banning bitcoin mining hit a the people over there a lot, and they stared having concernes about whether bitcoin is going to become illegal in China, and that would have been a disaster if it happend and it would have had a really bad impact on the price since there are a lot of bitcoin users coming from china, even though bitcoin is decentralized.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: May 25, 2019, 10:08:26 PM
Interesting article about the death of ICOs and the emergence of IEO... https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/are-icos-really-dead/

What do you guys think? I don't think ICOs are fully dead. They just need to be regulated in more efficient ways. Most ICOs from 2017-2018 never delivered on their promises because they were being ran by a bunch of assholes who didn't deliver squad... We need more regulation. Only then will ICOs get better imo.
The whole altcoin market has been flooded with so many shit coins that haven't added anything to the seance, and they are just basically trying to make profit from the hype that came with the ICO investment back in late 2017, except a couple of them they are just basically scams and if they are not people are just stuck the the pump and dump mentality so as soon any ICO coin goes on exchange it hits the floor and devs lose the motivation to develop it and the coin just dies, and for that people have lost hope in the ICO.
716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A shocking truth! on: May 25, 2019, 09:56:18 PM
Even though I haven't experienced many parabolic sessions of the crypto market, my little observations I made in the immediate past one is that, we're all likely to miss the boat of the next run again. Especially if you're not holding much coins already. I'm saying so because the bull run/market comes like a snake attack- subtle, tactical, unexpected and quiet and by the time we realize, we're already at the top again.

I quite remember telling a few friends to buy BNB when it was around $20 buh they were saying it's high buh now look, it's even higher.

My advice: Stop thinking there's gonna be another last bottom (it's a 50/50 bet which can go either way), and just buy /invest into anything you think it's good to buy...Procrastination is a thief of money (crypto version Smiley)
Well some things are just obvious, BNB was bound to go up because of how binance is big and popular exchange so people really invested in it and even after the hack they are still going strong, many people are just aimlessly investing in coins and making decisions only based on the price and not the actually coin it self, therefore they usually miss these bullruns, if you wanna trade a coin you need to believe in it be patient and support it through the tough times in order to be on front seats of those bull runs when they happen.
717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin hit 100k in 2020? on: May 25, 2019, 09:14:41 PM
Bitcoin is about to get a lot more expensive than it is today,
So is it possible to see Bitcoin price hovering around 100k each by next year and why?

Source:   https://medium.com/@Amiono4/can-bitcoin-hit-100-000-in-2020-a4c424cc1d34
I don't know about hitting 100k, as much as bitcoin is unpredictable in a good way, i mean back in 2017 it was able to go from 6k to almost 20k in just a couple of months, and back in march the price was about 3k and look at it now, it is really unknown buy how much the bitcoin is going to rise or how far it will go, but the most important and the most thing that i am confidant about is that bitcoin is actually going to rise no matter what, so just positive and hold and wait.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBC - Facebook to launch Globalcoin in 2020 on: May 25, 2019, 08:35:11 PM
BBC has made a report stating Facebook is planning to issue a cryptocurrency named "Globalcoin" in 2020.
It would be a payment method for Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp.

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-48383460
The real question is why ??, is there here anyone on this forum or interested in crypto actually buys things or uses money on Facebook or Instagram, to me this seems like another cash grab an attempt to ride on the hype of crypto, probably many companies and investors will support it at first due to Facebook already has a wide range of users so they expect it to really go viral at first, but i am sure that it will wear off in the first couple of months of its launch, the only thing that it might do is give other companies the idea to think about crypto.
719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to trading? Learn to be an emotionless trading machine on: May 25, 2019, 08:16:08 PM
Probably the biggest problem that people have is not emotion or keeping them out, it is they really take trading like a serious job, they use it as their main source of income and they leave their real life jobs for it, since crypto is really unpredictable you should not do that you should make it as an extra money making, once you truly believe that and you do it, your emotion will stop affecting your trades and you start making more right decisions and profit.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 25, 2019, 07:59:31 PM
From what i learned from the situation in my country, is that whenever there is an increase in the necessary goods and overall prices, is there is an attempt from the government to fix the economical situation, when this goes people starts demanding raises in their salary which leads to nothing because the money gained from increasing prices to fix the economy goes back to the salary increase, but if this is has been going on fro 30 years like the op said means that the situation is not that bad and the increase in prices was made progressively and with very small amounts.
