I had to do a double take when I saw I was leading by 14 points.  Shocked
Come on guys; there's no reason why I should be "killing this pool" by that many points.

People need to stop believing in miracles. As in, I need to stop believing Sevilla can still get draws at minimum and I need to fully accept that Barca is simply not good enough with out key players.

Many seasons of losing points to above 2 teams is my recipe of loser vibes.

Good for you, 14 points is a big big lead!!

It's actually such a nice break to not be competing, so it's the great bright side of losing early, seeing everyone worry lol

Kudos to Cro2 for giving such tough questions, the whole spreadsheet is a river of red for most people, even Round 2 almost everyone can't get a green. When does betting start? Wink

What now? Hibernation until February?
You need to cool down here anyway, so it is good for you to remember good times you had Grin
I am waiting to see the draw in few days, but my early favorites to go in next round are Real Madrid and Bayern.
La Liga has most teams from all European countries, so there is good chance one of them could win the CL trophy this season  Shocked

3 whole months of boring waiting, La Liga is not really looking hopeful for Barca, cup games is not my thing, I would really love to see us go to the final but I know nobody wants City or Real or Inter not to be there so lets see.

cryptofrka hands on prizes of course he can't wait Wink

BTW Spain and England look strong to get 5th UCL spot. United and Newcastle ruined the "guarantee" Smiley
704  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 16, 2023, 08:23:18 AM
That's been the way I felt even 2/3 years ago. Which is why I really stuck to the originals for a long time. Look at Bitvest, so simple, so basic, yet so original until today I feel good seeing it. Most recently I like Blackjackfun because it was also original, different way and feel and P2P.

But the majority of others launching are all template users, broken links, and same old slots with no promos.

Bitcasino (and now Livecasino) just set the standard so high I guess Smiley

Such is the bad luck of a fan, I guess @arallmuus understands from being Manchester United.

LOL yeah kinda understand it. Its just pure nonsense that Antwerp managed to win against Barcelona but Manchester United cant win against Bayern Munich. Actually I was closely monitoring the livescore and when Barcelona scored on the injury time, I thought that we are not going to have any upsets for today lol then Antwerp managed to score again which was kinda surprising

Oh yeah and actually I was pretty close on choosing AC Milan for my pot B before decided to go for Shakhtar instead oh well  Undecided

I really don't ever wish to change my love for my club but sometimes for sure I wish I didn't get this blindness of betting. Never ever placed a bet against Barca even when it seemed obvious, and that also hurts you in pool competition.

I didn't watch the game, way too late s at least I didn't get my heart smashed in real life.

Just now need to do something crazy different if I want to make something from this pool!!

Trofo in concert? Is he rave head or was this convention for snake charmer? I think we need to seriously ask why cryptofrka wasn't with you at event. Are we about to see Infantino/Platini split lol

Thanks bro, I'm trying to improve my record in the cup and represent the SB Club talk gang as best as I can. Maybe we meet again in the future and have a nice rematch.  Grin Grin

I miss the days of SB club chatting Smiley But you guys only start coming on when I'm already in dreamland but maybe my next vacation I try to pop in. You represent very very well!!
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: December 15, 2023, 09:30:28 AM
I have to say, no United and no Sevilla makes it a really clear path to Europa for Leverkusen and Liverpool, I honestly hoped Newcastle at least reached playoffs but seems like their first timer luck ran out, what a shame!

Also didn't realize was a different format this season, now 3rd place has to fight second place Europa group to go through last 16. That seems fairer, rather than clear progress for champions league dropouts Smiley
708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Could exchanges leverage on the current market trend to woo new investors? on: December 15, 2023, 07:17:37 AM
With the current market condition, I think this is an opportunity for exchanges to leverage and attract new users by dishing out beneficial events to users in order to further encourage mass adoption. Do you share the same sentiment or you have divergent opinion? Let's discuss.

Lol if exchanges only learn to rely on bull markets or positive sentiments like now, then they better be prepared to lose business longterm.

"Dishing out beneficial events" you mean like Binance did all the time? They eventually got in trouble for that. Or how about Kucoin now in trouble also? Their primary activity was dishing out events.

Just be a good exchange. Transparent and licensed and always fair fees. Make it better faster safer than a bank, now thats how you drive adoption man.

Jinetics1111 I have to bow down and congratulate you. I thought I might have a chance to improve my 3rd place cup record but things never go the way we love, I hope you go far.

Nothing to play for in round 2 so I let my players rest.

Newcastle, Porto, either did not meet my expectations or flew over it. Football luck Smiley

Well done Pulsar77 and CLS63. Barca actually gifted two times in this pool, but unfortunately, as a fan of Blaugrana I could never understand to see these opportunities. Injuries everywhere, youngster dependency and not needing to win, this was a huge opportunity. Funny too Royal Antwerp gave me some great underdog wins before but I never ever once thought to support them.

Such is the bad luck of a fan, I guess @arallmuus understands from being Manchester United.
711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest risk of P2P trade on: December 14, 2023, 08:37:22 AM
I actually never had a bad p2p experience when dealing with trusted traders and using escrow on localbitcoins but it was a long time ago since I used it, I read it got worse and worse before finally closing down.

Biggest risk to me actually is less about funds (if you use escrow nothing to worry about) but about criminality. Get caught buying/selling to illegal launderer and your name is directly tied to them if you use bank payment.

Face to face is even more dangerous Smiley
712  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 14, 2023, 08:06:25 AM
Congrats Slaman! You are rocking this round! I feel what you wish to say about that "unhealthy obsession", but if you are in profit or if you didn't lose a lot of money playing I guess you can continue to have fun with collecting more GTs. But of course, it's up to you... sometimes it's good to take a break.

Anyway, 1200 tickets sound like a lot of tickets for many of us. I wish you the best of luck in collecting even more Golden Tickets, and I wish you even more luck winning that fucking Lambo! I am cheering for you!:)

Thank you thank you Smiley Well... let's just say that this round and last round were profitable overall, but very close scares. And I spent I'm ver sure 80% of my time on the site in red so it's nice to be reclaiming those wager losses:) I use semi martingale and everyone who dices knows how scary that can get lol Overall still in loss, but having a blast Smiley

Cheer for me hehe I promise to rain 5% in total on this forum in some kinda event if I wil lol

Damn you, congratulations. That is just an amazing notification on your dashboard. You are making merrier Xmas already Smiley I had the opportunity to flash promo three times. I only played once and reached Tier 1 only. You have the guts to reach that level and the wagering is I think 0.05 BTC. You must have had a very good balance when you started and even better returns when you finished. I can't imagine myself reaching such heights within such a short period.

I saw you had it 3 times yes, I think this round I caught it twice, it came more but not when I was awake. 0.05 BTC is really easy to get on auto, trust me, even if you play 1 sat and do conservative martingale you hit it under 1 million rolls easy.

Personally I like to wager most of my target with accepted loss, then martingale to gain some back. At the end, RP and wager bonus are what make the profit if any Smiley

I respect Pep for sure but he always has polished players already.

There were a lot of unrefined players. Pep is also polished; he brings out the best in his players and expects more from them. Pep is without a doubt the greatest manager of our time; he repeatedly shown that investing without vision does not ensure success. Pep has not spent anywhere near what Chelsea and Manchester City have over the years, and yet they are nowhere near the level of Manchester City.

We've spent more than €1bn on transfer and yet our team is on the same level with Fulham and Bournemouth. It took Pep less than £700m to assemble the current Manchester city squad.

But I think still, he has been able to spend what he wants to get a big squad of what he needs. I still think it's interesting to see if he can do the same level if he had a smaller budget. He admits himself Klopp's teams both at Dortmund and Liverpool are what pushed him to be better. I think, strange, but if he and Klopp switched Bayern/Dortmund City/Liverpool both would do badly. Klopp wouldn't know what to do with big budget and Pep wouldn't know what to do with more limited teams.

The fact that United is formally not far from the top 4 does not mean that they have a chance to get there. Bookmakers estimate this probability as 1 in 8, and after the defeat to Liverpool (which I am 99% sure of) it will be something like 1 in 10. I’m not sure yet that I want to place any bets (I need to think about the odds), but it seems to me that he could be sacked after the game with Liverpool.

Disgraceful to the memory of Ferguson and the amount they pay to lousy players. Losing while trying is fine but the players there ren't even trying their best. Closest example was PSG honestly.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: December 13, 2023, 12:16:52 PM
No chance for Sevilla, nobody will see them in Europa this season unfortunately, I lost a lot because of them I thought their destiny was Europa. And in fact also no chance for United, equally out. To think both teams did so well in Europa, and played like shit in Champions League.

Best team to win it, still Liverpool? Klopp plays B squad there though so my doubts is heavy on them. Brighton? Maybe Villareal? lol
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: December 13, 2023, 11:39:29 AM
I got ANOTHER zero round wtf man

I put all my trust in Arsenal, because they are supposed to be that good. And then I sat in the shit bed when I trusted Sevilla, so that one's my fault but I seriously thought they wanted at least to go Europa where they love it so much.

Union could have won, salute to all those who tried and failed to go against Real.

Climbed to 1st spot in Pot A as well, happy days in this round so far.
How is this possible?  Angry
Cheating and bribes again!!

buwaytress I'm very disappointed that you have allowed cro2 to buy you. The snakes are infesting all our boards!!
716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction is possible in bitcoin price? After 40,000$ on: December 13, 2023, 09:36:15 AM
In 2025, we will witnessed the existence of more altcoin projects and Bitcoin chances of shooting to the moon still exists. Correction is triggered in bitcoin charts each time it makes heavy dump or strong bull run. There's more years ahead, we will be witnessing a top time in the system, we have to prepare ourselves for what's coming our way and ensure we utilized our opportunities of generating profits for ourselves. Bitcoin initial targets was to make a bullrun up to a $100k in the bull season but unfortunately, the market reversed and we watch how the system play out and liquidated most of our trading accounts.

As opposed to current year 2023, and the coming ear 2024? You think there is actually a time when there is less altcoin projects?

If you're saying more altcoins emerge during the bull run, it's actually not true. The MOST time when new altcoins are born is during quiet bear period. The coins that emerge during bullrun? That's called a shitcoin/scamcoin bro.

This round is one of those where you wonder, lucky or witchcraft,  Vivekdkhyani I think you come from Div3, Ty. leaving the bottom of the table is good, again, so, consequently "the phrase hit rock bottom" has become regular for me this season fortunately referring to the classification table, due to the well-known and serious fact in which it is used, so allow me the license for its use and with due respect for those who use it in conflicting instances.

I must say that for the Cup I only went to see who that Q10 was, assuming my victory, but given that execijutiere is in the middle of the table, the odds would be @1.4 my rival and @4 for me.

Ahh rock bottom, I feel like I'm getting married to division 1 rock bottom, such a cold place that nobody wants to share lol

Division 3 guys are crazy. That's all I can say. Kinda thankful I didn't have to start there I doubt I would have ever got out, now I see them in division 1 all doing way better than me.

I got semifinals in cup as my best performance, I'm happy to KO straightaway if I can survive regular league relegation Sad

I almost forgot about this but as soon as I laid down to sleep I immediately remember that I have to put the picks on as tomorrow I will be working late  Grin.I just submitted my picks, this time I choose 5 games with 2 points staked at each game and I choose odds of at least 2.5 up to near 4,I think since this is the last match day there will be quite some surprise results which would help me go further in the Pot B pool otherwise if the games come as people expect I am putting those results in Pot A of the pool.

Tomorrow will be a very important day also for Pot A as the person who makes the most points will climb good positions and we know after this last match day the number of games will be fewer.

I split my bets in the opposite way, 2x5. No regrets, but just really hoping I don't get zero AGAIN. I just want a prize spot because Pot A looks lost to me. Same strat as you though Smiley Pot A my expected result. Pot B my "please let it happen" result lol

@cryptofrka I was thinking the same thing! I guess BTC jumped 25% since the cash prize was deposited, so it's more like $12500 now. Annoying also we have to wait until MAY for it!!
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: December 12, 2023, 10:28:54 AM
Not entire ballance, but lost big yesterday. Painful loss, but Girona deserved to win. They turned all Barca mistakes in defense into goals.
Now we're 7 points behind Girona. Not end of world, but so far team aren't showing confidence which would let us fight for title. While Girona, I don't know how long they will continue what they're doing, but now they're most fun team to watch in La Liga and maybe in whole Europe.

It happened to all of us, but that drop in odds for Girona to win La Liga is amazing   Shocked
I still dont believe they can keep up with this results until the end, but lets wait and see.

I read on a report about Barca and Girona, both Catalan clubs, that it wasn't even like losing to your little brother but losing to your pet goldfish. Perfect summary of the game and a line to draw to show how far Girona come in only their fourth La Liga season (after relegating before). I honestly hope they go on to win it, but Real is the team to beat, Bellingham is saving their ass again and again while we are lost without Gavi...
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 12, 2023, 09:48:47 AM
Crazy week of English football, La Liga also had surprises, even Bundesliga but I think nobody expected Liverpool to be top after failing Champions League last season. Enjoy, LFC_Bitcoin, buway, cryptofrka Smiley

I can't believe I placed two or three side bets on Chelsea having a better campaign than Liverpool this season, and now they're leading the league and Chelsea isn't even close. Who could have predicted that Liverpool would be doing so well given the major overhaul they underwent last and this season? Klopp isn't getting enough credit for building this amazing project with little resources.

Can't even banter buwatress this season....

I would have done the same honestly, you got some really exciting new players while Liverpool looked like they got scrappings. Mac Allister is ok I like Argentinians but I didn't think he was that good. Wataru Endo also I thought was a downgrade but he already got more assist + goals than many his teammates in midfield. I guess Klopp really is a great player manager. Everyone was talking about his 7th season curse like at Dortmund but you're right, Klopp does it over and over again. Turns semi good players into very good ones to make a great team.

I respect Pep for sure but he always has polished players already.
