721  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best proposal message ! on: May 18, 2020, 05:40:41 AM
As a beginners, my question is,
Is it possible to start this work?
How to I apply for this job?
Yup! It is possible. You are free to offer what kind of services/products you could offer. Actually, I saw "Nude pics for sale" on the Services sometimes but of course this is prohibited simply because of indecency Grin. Anyway, the only question here is if there is someone who will buy your services. You know, bounty managers' work include the spreadsheets already so I can't guarantee that your offer will be easily bought.
I have created a proposal letter for me. But, i think it’s not much good.
What is the best application letter? Can anyone create a proposal letter for me?
You don't necessarily need to be formal dude. Just tell your intentions to your prospective client and that's enough Cheesy.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 18, 2020, 03:42:07 AM
The light heavyweight division is the most talent stacked and the toughest division and Jon Jones ruled the division like anyone else in history and that is the only reason every consider him as the greatest MMA fighter of all time, the heavyweight division is not even competitive.
First, I disagree that the LH is the toughest division because Lightweight is a tougher one Cheesy. Second, no doubt that Bones is a good fighter because I once became fan of it. However, I noticed that he is not the same as before. Before, he was so aggressive, hungry for glory despite of how big his opponent is (I suddenly remember how he beat Machida and Shogun); but now it's very obvious that he is always playing safe in his recent fights. Therefore, I realized that he is not the greatest of all time. Check the HOF, they are closer to be proclaimed by that title Smiley.
Israel Adesanya has to come to his division and i bet Jon Jones will smoke him simply because of the size difference.
Not only the size difference but also the eye pokes or any skrt of dirty moves lol. Just kidding.

723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin after the year of 2140 on: May 17, 2020, 03:37:12 PM
That's over a hundred years from now, it's really hard to imagine what might be the value of bitcoin by that time but for sure, its value will be something different from now. Bitcoin will surely be adopted from different countries and legally used to do in different transactions.
Well, I agree in the part of bitcoin's price change by the year 2140 but to be honest I'm getting a little bit skeptical with regards the adoption. I say so because even in whatever timeline we are, government has a consistency. I mean, it was handled by different people over time but the way how it goes is the same. What I'm tryimg to say is that if your country hates the concept of cryptocurrency today then most probably it remains the same in the year 2140. Nonetheless, I am hoping all the best for bitcoin. I hope it will not take that far either for us to ach3 our dream of crypto revolution Smiley.
724  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: May 17, 2020, 12:15:24 PM
Jobless people doesn't have enough money so how can we expect them to stay at home and maintain good hygiene, even governments are not helping them. Huh
Don't say that because for sure each and every government only aim for the safety of its countrymen amidst the pandemic despite of any status you had. Whether ypu are rich or poor, all lives matter. Well, I am not on your situation so I respect your opinion tho. My advice for you is to try to make your insight broader, I'm sure you'll see the good in everything Smiley.
The global economy will take two or three years even if we find the vaccine for now but to be more worse how many years it will take to produce 7 billion vaccines?
Hmm I think it can shorten the time for making it if the pioneer of such vaccine will set aside business first. You know, share the "secret recipe" on all pharmaceutical companies across the globe (but I think this seems impossible).
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Reveals How much Bitcoins he Hold on: May 17, 2020, 08:32:05 AM
Do you guys realy think a 40$ Billion Networth Guy Hold only 0.25BTC?
Yeah coz why not? I mean it's not impossible that he is not into bitcoin despite of being rich. He got Tesla and I think that's enough proof that he can be a billionaire even without owning a single crypto. Besides, he is a well known Dogecoin fan that's why he only got .25 btc Grin.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 17, 2020, 06:34:52 AM
Was scrolling through ufc new on youtube and found out that Ngannou and Jon Jones are started “to talk” to promote their next fight. I’m a bit confused, isnt Jon Jones in other weight division? Jon’s dirty style wont help him to survive agains the beast. One punch and his head will fly through the fence Smiley
Psh! I'm not buying this hahaha. Bones only seems brave and ready to fight on the way he talks against Predator but in reality he's scared of leaving the Light HW division ~ change my mind Cheesy. If you remembered, there's also a beef existed between him and Adesanya before and yet nothing happened lol. See? That's the same thing we can foresee in this recent case with Ngannou. You know what, Jon already got nothing to prove in his "comfort division" so he must be the one who step up and not his opponents if he's really eager to fight them. Haay lot's of talks but no actions Roll Eyes.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market does not respect anyone on: May 17, 2020, 04:45:29 AM
What has the market got to do with  respecting anyone, of course it's not going to respect anyone and will show kindness to anyone who can read the market correctly, but the market side is on a whales you can make an impact on the market, I have seen it happens on many coins, because of the whales trading movement, they drop and they surge the market, so people should watch out for the whale's moves.
You have a good point in there but for me the whales are not the real Gods in the market. Yeah they can influence the chart due to their huge holdings but it doesn't necessarily mean that they are now invulnerable. Of course they are, like most of us Smiley. Simply because there is not only one whale. They are many as well (but not as many as the small hodlers) and the moves of one another can significantly affect them. They are not as invincible as you think, they also need to be very careful because losses excuses no one.
728  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 1 week until bitcoin pizza day on: May 16, 2020, 03:42:18 PM
Also, 10.000 BTC for two pizzas was quite expensive because it was worth around $41 at that time (according to the fourth post in the topic).
No mate, you misunderstood what stompix said Cheesy. Laszlo really bought a pizza for 10,000 way bitcoins way back 2010.

Anyway, I really feel pity for him. For sure that one is the biggest mistake of his life. But on the other hand, I'm wondering where's Papa John (I don't know the exact name of the receiver) now? He's so lucky to got such huge amount holding. It makes me feel jelous lol
729  Other / Meta / Re: Why Bitcointalk not Having its own Bitcointalk App on: May 16, 2020, 12:50:24 PM
I have been using it on my mobile and tablet for some time now the only issue is that you have to zoom in and zoom out a lot of time.
During my first year here, zooming in and out is a little bit hassle but as I grew here I am used to it already. But I realized that we no longer need for an app version because I'm pretty sure that adjustments will be a pain in our a*ses Grin. A problem that I think of so far is about the interface. Example is how signatures will fit properly on the width of our smartphones.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wanna Know how to trade? on: May 16, 2020, 07:01:21 AM
Everyone wants to learn how to trade. But the problem is that those who really know how to do this will not sell their knowledge. And those who think they know are happy to teach.
Hmm, I agree somehow. But I believe that there are still good samaritans who pay forward Smiley. Aside from the unwillingness of few people, another problem I could see here is the distance barrier. I mean you will really find a hard time looking for a mentor if you are just only seeking here inside the forum or even in social medias. So as much as possible, a colleague who knows about daytrading is the best option but if there's none then you don't have any choice but to study hard Smiley.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: May 16, 2020, 04:49:44 AM
And in addition if you are not that good on a specific game you will be fish there and be the target of all of the veteran player there. Just like poker, usually if you are not good and enter the table you will instantly became the target there. Based on my personal experience dumb player on poker is the easiest way to have a money in gambling, they are easy to predict and read and usually their bet decision is based on their emotion so they can be easily beat.
I'm guilty of this to be honest lol. I love playing Texas Holdem poker, Tong Its (a card game here in our country) and Pusoy (Chinese poker) only within the circle of my friends because I somehow memorized the way they play. But when it comes to unknown opponents, I get choked always Grin. That's why I never set playing online as my career, I already admitted to myself that I cannot have a good future in there. I just focused on sportsbetting since I'm knowledgeable when it comes to sports.
732  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the Oil be burned and how it will affect the climate on: May 15, 2020, 12:18:35 PM
Recently I heard some news that countries consider burning oil because there's no more place to store it.
Are you really sure about this? First, how come they no longer have means of storing their oils? Second, do they were able to waste a precious commodity? I can't believe it, it doesn't make any sense. It would be wiser for them to cut the price largely than burning it for nothing.
So the question is, how will it affect the earth's climate? Is this a significant concern for the environmentalists?
Assuming that it was true, I may say yes. Why? Simply because at the end of the day it was a carbon emission. Even how small or big it is, it will accumulate and manifest its effect in the future and that was sad. Actually, there's a fear in the back of my mind concerning about opening all economies once again. I guess the wounds of our Mother Earth which healed for past few months will suddenly bleed again once we go back to normal Sad.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: May 15, 2020, 09:52:18 AM
Looking for coins to buy I would suggest you first visit coinmarketcap and check the performance so far, visit the social media handles to also check if they have activities and future ones because news escalate prices. If it's worth buying after your verifications you buy but if it doesn't please you have to follow best way which is too coins.
Exactly! But my advice is not about choosing recent tokens lol Grin. @OP ~ If you really want to invest in alts then go to CMC and consider few coins enlisted after XRP. Because why risking your money in a new with uncertain future when there is already a strongly established one in the first place. I hope you see my point, invest wisely.

So instead of investing on such tokens, why don't go with Stellar, Monero, IOTA etc. Wink.
734  Other / Meta / Re: Stopping Bounties To Rank Up In Btctalk on: May 15, 2020, 04:59:05 AM
I hope I am not wrong.
You are not wrong and not right either. It's your own perspective so I respect it Cheesy. In my opinion, bounties or signature campaigns got nothing to do with your rank development. Actually there are so many living proofs out here that ranked up (few got overflowing merits and just wait for the right amount of activity) despite of joining campaigns. Therefore, it is not the main cause if you noticed that you remain stucked on where you are because everything depends on how good you are. Quality of your post is the only basis, nothing more and nothing less.
735  Economy / Economics / Re: MENTAL HEALTH ANG WELLBEING on: May 15, 2020, 02:57:06 AM
What you have written is just for those who are rich and or comfortable. The only aspect you talk of that touches the masses is praying to God  Grin.
Nope, no offense but I disagree to you. Seeking to God is not the only thing you could do in these times despite of being poor. Look, if you can talk to God then what more for just a human like you Cheesy. You don't need to be rich first before doing such thing. OP is right, having communication with your loved ones amidst the pandemic is essential because it relieves the burden of one another.

Aside from that, staying fit is absolutely free as well. There's no need for heavy equipments, just work with your body and for sure you can release endorphins (happy hormones).
736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What does Halving actually mean for Beginners? on: May 15, 2020, 01:04:14 AM
Hey,

I am really new into this world and there is something called Halving which has happened yesterday If i'm not wrong. I just want to know what exactly happens like does the price falls or increases?
Sorry to offend you mate but in my opinion the bitcoin halving means almost nothing for the beginners which is understandable though simply because they're new in this thing. And based on your post, I presume you wasn't able to quickly sell your btc (if you already had) right before the halving ends as well Grin. See? I most cases, newbies can't fully harness the advantage it could bring. But that's okay, there is still a next time. Just keep on gaining knowledge and experience.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tactile controllers when playing online. on: May 14, 2020, 06:55:51 AM
IMO, such devices would  get a lot of interest, what do you think?
So true Smiley. Playing on a a particular venue and physically engaging with other players is the best. You can't compare it to the online games available. Though the hype was there since it was about money after all (everyone becomes excited when it comes to it of course), you can still feel that there's something missing. You know what I'm saying. That's why until now I go the old fashioned way as much as possible, I really prefer cards rather than mouse and computer screen Cheesy.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 14, 2020, 03:47:14 AM
I don't see why not. The pandemic is mostly fake and there's really no need to be scared of the virus.

I read that it's much less lethal than SARS and I haven't seen a panic this big during the SARS epidemic.

The governments are overreacting and we shouldn't force people to stay at home if they feel healthy and want to take a risk. I have been taking a risk since day 1 and feel great.
Just wow Roll Eyes. I don't know how you able to ignore such thing. Yeah it is true that corona virus is less lethal than the other viruses existed but it's spread rate is no joke. That's what it makes more dangerous, hello? It won't become a pandemic for nothing.

I totally disagree for Las Vegas to open their city mainly just for business purposes (eg. Casinos and other amenities) because it is very risky. We can't disregard the tendency of getting a second wave of covid once they open since gamblers all over their country will come over there for sure.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: May 13, 2020, 11:46:33 AM
With utmost morale I can say that the crypt will never be driven to destruction, because its mines are not too shallow. But even now, the crypt market is at a disadvantage now, so we investors or project campaigners are spending a lot of time worrying. If the current situation does not improve then I do not know what will happen!
Thanks for the positivity Roll Eyes. But as you can see, bitcoin's price didn't fall so hard after the halving (IMO) and besides btc soar up to 2.09% up to this moment so cheer up. I believe that good things are about to happen for the rest of us soon. I mean, lockdowns across the globe are now running for months so it's impossible that no progress are happening at all. Don't stress out yourself dude Smiley, keep praying and stay safe. Well, I am not on your current position tho so I can't blame you if you are now frustrated.
740  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be aware of Halving Giveaway on: May 13, 2020, 08:56:50 AM
After the facebook and Youtube giveaways people have learned that if they want you to send coins to unlock your giveaways, you are dealing with scammers, halving is already over, but I have not seen a big giveaway in times of halving, everything went well and smooth but we must always watch for these kind of giveaways.
Same with me, my halving experience went well. Actually I'm not awared of these new modus at all and I can't help myself but to laugh about it lol Grin. Only fool will get baited on such scam but in all fairness fraudsters are getting more relevant and creative as time goes by huh. So we, or let's say the newbies, should be more careful.
