721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your experiences with energy efficient cryptocurrencies? on: May 24, 2022, 02:30:48 PM
I am watching with concerns the development of climate change and global warming. While I believe that cryptocurrencies make only a small contribution, even many small things add up to a large number.

Bitcoin consumes a lot of power and I don't know if that can change. What do you guys think? As far as I understand, the trust in Bitcoin is mainly due to the proof of work mechanism. And with this, the high power consumption is probably inseparable?

I'm considering investing more in altcoins based on proof of stake or proof of personhood. What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages?
It's hard to put this together in a way that doesn't sound conspiratorial, but I'll try anyway. It's up to you to DYOR. There is an obvious climate agenda that is promoted by major government and non-government organizations as well as non-profit action groups. Whether you believe in climate change or not, or whether it is man made, there are groups working to limit carbon emissions and something known as "carbon credits" now exists in two fields, regulated and non-regulated credits. Currently, some governments may require carbon emitters to purchase official carbon credits to offset their emissions but there is no global tax/standard on carbon emissions credits *yet. Blockchain technology is considered the "fourth industrial revolution" and coincides with some of the agendas promoted by the WEF and others. So it makes sense that popular blockchains are promoting themselves as carbon neutral or negative. Unfortunately, there are some groups that act to certify lands for carbon credits but the dark secret behind it is that these groups do not own the lands and they are unable to protect them in any way. I could create a project and sell carbon credits for 20 million hectares of trees in Guyana to a blockchain right now and get rich. It's all a scam until the UN creates a global carbon tax and carbon credit standard and regulates these credits. There are groups currently pushing BTC to go POS but it's unlikely that the majority of miners, which are in China and Russia, will play along so BTC might end up being forked again. That said, carbon neutral blockchains appear to be doing well because they are associated/partnered with large organizations like the WEF and others, so it makes sense to invest in projects like Celo, XRP, and CNDL that are involved in creating the new carbon credit blockchain standards.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to put money in ETH? on: May 23, 2022, 01:56:23 PM
I am really skeptical about ETH right now. Something seems fishy. They are making everyone lock up for ETH2 but there is no unlock date. What if the merge is unsuccessful? What if there is a market pump and you can't sell because your funds are locked? What if there is a dump when the unlock comes and everyone sells at once? The 4% staking APY isn't worth the risk for me, especially considering NEAR has 13% APY and no lock up and more upside. Also, there are a lot of new L1s coming out that are technically superior to Ethereum and have low or 0 transaction fees, like $CNDL.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you should do in this type of market on: May 23, 2022, 01:53:34 PM
We are in a bear market and that is the best time to accumulate projects that you believe in. But be aware that a lot of projects will die during a bear market. The projects that will be most successful are the ones that launch during the bear market and can appreciate in the next bull market, like Layer zero and Candle Chain. These are both launching right now and are an easy 10x.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should LTC return as a silver to BTC and being ranked in the top 5?? on: May 23, 2022, 01:51:12 PM
Litecoin may have a brief pump now that it integrated privacy but long term, coins that do not offer smart contract functionality will not be successful. That's why I invested mainly in Hedera Hashgraph and Candle Chain. Hedera is scalable and has the best partners in the industry and Candle Chain has 0 transaction fees and is engineered to host metaverse DApps, including their own.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA's downfall scare away investors from the crypto market? on: May 23, 2022, 01:49:04 PM
Yeah, I think the depeg and exit scam frightened off a lot of investors. A lot of people are back at square one collecting airdrops and bounties, like the one from Candle Chain and some on coinmarketcap and dappradar.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1.6 billion dollars turned to $2,200 - The Luna effect on Binance Assets on: May 23, 2022, 01:47:38 PM
Terra was a scam from the start and CZ is holding the BTC reserves, they were never sold to support the peg. The silver lining is that anyone affected by Terra can claim a free airdrop from Candle Labs and there are bounties for the Luna devs from NEAR protocol and CandleLabsdotorg. I think BNB chain has a grants program too but Candle is the only one I am aware of that is giving out airdrops and bounties. I received mine over the weekend.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some money, want to do encryption project, looking for project partners on: May 23, 2022, 01:44:12 PM
More details please. Consider joining the semillalabs discord and creating a team there. They have over 450 devs and marketers that can help. The discord link is on their twitter page. It's basically a project incubator, and that's what it looks like you need.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: May 23, 2022, 01:42:59 PM
It's simple really. Large caps may be safer investments because they are more widely adopted but the industry as a whole is new, so it's completely possible that BTC and ETH are no longer in the top 10 a decade from now. Take a look at the dot com boom. Some websites like pets.com are no longer around, some are, like Amazon. You can make more by investing in the next amazon right now than by investing in a top 10 project, although the risk is higher. This is one reason why I invest in new L1 chains, like $CNDL and $HBAR. Candle Chain specifically is designed to host metaverse DApps. Hedera is partnered with several of the world's largest banking and tech companies, so that has a bright future as well.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins made you 100x returns in last 6 years ? on: May 23, 2022, 01:39:08 PM
Did you make 100x your money ? What coins did you invest in that made you huge amounts of returns in the last 4-6 years. Would be curious to see what you guys took a chance and made a lot of money

Why did you choose that coin ?
IMO, the most important things to consider when investing in a project are:
The coin or token has utility
The team is real, honest and capable
The tokenomics are good
The project has solid financial backing

It's for these reasons that I invested in Hedera Hashgraph before and why I am investing in the Candle Labs presale now.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I quickly research on any crypto before investment. on: May 23, 2022, 01:37:03 PM
There are thousands and thousands of different crypto projects ,So there are a lot of things to consider before investing on any cryptocurrency, Whether you're a short term or long term trader. I usually start up with the coinmarket cal. that is coinmarket calendar to check for up coming events though some might be real some might be fake. Besically for me I like investing at things that continuesly creat value and that's something you should look for, so when looking at the project I try to look out for projects by asking yourself and doing research base on these.

Part 1
why I'm I investing in ?,
what's the value of these project?
Will there be a long term growth?
What's is the team behind it ?, has that team delivered on anything?, Can these team actually do it.
What's the road map like ?
Does it have problem to solve?
How the community looks like?
Example I check if they have verified Twitter account, I check out for the number of followers on Twitter, telegram, Facebook etc

part 2
This is where I check out on the exchange they are trading on , are they trading on tier 1 ,2 or ,3  crypto  exchanges?, If trading on an exchange like Binance, kucoin that one will give me more confidence.
Another thing I look out for is the contract address to check number of holders and percentage they're holding if they're holding pretty significant amount without huge percentage difference.
is the token locked ?,(15%-50% )
How many percentage is Burn ?,(up to 50%) is good for me.
what percentage of the token is in Dev address?, (1% - 10%).
Finally I look at the market and how it has been trading by taking an overview look at the chart. All these are what I do before I deep dive into any project.

IMO, the most important things are that:
The coin or token has utility
The team is real, honest and capable
The tokenomics are good
The project has solid financial backing

It's for these reasons that I am investing in the Candle Labs presale.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holy Crap ! Terra is gone to zero ?!?! on: May 23, 2022, 01:35:08 PM
Terra was a scam from the start and people are finally starting to realize that. It was hyped by VC and a couple prominent youtubers and these insiders were able to cash out using the Terra reserves before the collapse. Fortunately for retail investors, some projects are offering aidrops to Luna holders, like CandleLabs, and others are poaching developers- both $CNDL and NEAR protocol.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible UST recovered ? on: May 23, 2022, 01:32:44 PM
Projects and the community have left Luna and are moving to blockchains like NEAR, BNB chain, and Candlelabsdotorg. These chains are providing airdrops, bounties, and grants for developers.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good metaverse tokens. on: May 23, 2022, 01:32:00 PM
Hello,
Can anyone introduce a list of good metaverse tokens for 2022?

Thank you.
CNDL, ATRI, DRC

CNDL is a metaverse token and an L1 EVM compatible chain, something that no other metaverse has done. $CNDL is built from the ground up to host other metaverse DApps.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Terra (LUNA) recover some time in the future? on: May 23, 2022, 01:30:23 PM
It's not the end of the world... Luna and UST investors can still claim their $CNDL bounties.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: May 23, 2022, 01:29:44 PM
The only thing you can do at this time is to file a police report and claim your $CNDL airdrop.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: May 23, 2022, 01:28:35 PM
I would put my money in large caps like NEAR and IOTA, and a portion of it in microcaps like DRC and CNDL. Candle Chain specifically has the most upside because it is a new EVM compatible L1 with 0 fees that is engineered from the ground up to host metaverse DApps.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UST will re-peg by next week Do Kwon interview on: May 20, 2022, 04:55:11 PM
There will be no repeg and Do Kwon has already been outed as a scammer and is under criminal investigation in several countries. His developers migrated to $NEAR and Candle labs and these projects have grants programs set up for developers. NEAR for example is giving away millions of dollars and $CNDL is giving away a piece of the protocol itself, a stake in the chain.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Predecessors on: May 20, 2022, 04:53:30 PM
Bitcoin became popular because it had a team of people who actively promoted it. Another opinion says that Silk Road helped Bitcoin become famous. And then most of these people were expelled from the team and bitcoin became not a means of payment for cypherpunks, but a world currency.
Other chains, apart from open chain, were missing critical components that we recognize as blockchains today.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep some Terra Luna coins to keep as a keepsake? on: May 20, 2022, 04:52:10 PM
So many people have suffered losses in this incident that befell Terra Luna. there is even news that mentions people who suddenly went into shock and fainted because he had stored a large amount of terra luna. and he went on vacation for a few days without seeing the market. and after coming home he just checked the market and he was surprised to see his terra luna coins were worthless. He was shocked and rushed to the hospital. and many other stories. you can search on google.

but apart from that I myself am an enthusiastic person for the development of this terra luna. and did not expect this bad thing to happen.

but there is a unique incident from my friends in the real world, namely they buy terra luna coins in large quantities at the current price which is already almost worthless. and I asked my friend. What's the reason you bought Terra Luna? he my friend replied i want to keep it as a memento.

from this answer I also think whether it is possible for many people to do the same thing. So I also ask you all, did you buy Terra Luna now to be used as a keepsake collection to remember the achievements and history of what happened to Terra Luna?

I feel sure this incident will be a new history in the crypto world. like in 2018.
This is a joke right? The Luna contract will continue to print worthless coins to backstop a stablecoin that no one is using. That is, as long as there are still nodes and validators, which I don't think there are because most devs and part of the community already migrated to $CNDL and $BNB chains.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna 2.0 Good Idea? on: May 20, 2022, 04:50:33 PM
What happens to the old LUNA 1.0 and its holders when the LUNA 2.0 is airdropped? and do you think it will be beneficial because most people have lost trust in them and lost all the investments
I'm sorry but if you fall for the Luna2 scam, you deserve to lose your money. At this point, all of the devs and most of the Luna community members have moved to other chains, like candlelabs dot org and NEAR, both of which have a bounty and grants program.
