741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My 0.1 BTC Journey on: May 30, 2020, 06:01:36 AM
It's like fiat money, you will never have enough of it. But the most important thing here is that you found value in using Bitcoin as a freelancer. As a freelancer myself, it's so convenient to just use Bitcoin rather than other transactions because there's just too much processes to do. With Bitcoin, just send and that's it. Control over money and convenience.

I hope you achieve your goal with Bitcoin though. Good luck  Grin
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite Many Participants, You Can Still Get Huge Rewards In Bounty. on: May 29, 2020, 08:06:18 AM
The thing here is that, you need to have a certain skills in order to participate in other campaigns. Signature campaign and social media campaign is probably the easiest to do and newbies and bounty hunters tend to do it more than other campaigns.

But the campaigns are not the problem here but the project itself. Even if people where to start pouring more effort into a project if the project team itself is a fraud, then there's no point to it. Even successful ICO tends to have their coins valueless at the end of the day and we all know that ICO tends to be a scam which will really deny all your efforts if it happens. At least the majority of the projects turns into a failure.

There are larger participate in social media campaign so it's party to quote advice keep doing limiting options and increase 15%-20% allocation for social media. Actually bountydetective service long duration They need to be stronger in the case some rules. Here I think social media and signature are the best qualities for promote a project.

That's also a factor because project teams tend to avoid making 1 person hoard their tokens because that would be bad for their project.

743  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s next for Bitcoin? on: May 29, 2020, 05:16:24 AM
More adoption and development for Bitcoin. What do you expect to be honest? Are you waiting for Satoshi Nakamoto to announce something? You should scratch that because that will never happen. Bitcoin shines because of its technical features. It's not all about price. As long as people are finding Bitcoin useful, then that is where Bitcoin really shines.
744  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Glad to be part of BTC Talk I hope I am not late to the party on: May 28, 2020, 05:13:57 AM
The thing here is that, you are never too late. You can always buy Bitcoin and hold it if you want to get the profit that you want.

1st BuyNhold (Will take you years before you even get rich and thats if you put millions into BTC which I dont have) the low low prices are over, which now you require massive capital

You don't need to buy the whole Bitcoin, you can buy in fractions which is convenient if you currently don't have to capital to invest in a whole Bitcoin.

If you are not confident trading Bitcoin to get more, then you should present your skills to the community here. You can find different services there and you might have the skills that the people would want.

If you don't want to do that, then just convert a portion of your money you get from jobs outside crypto.

You are not late man. There are still profits to be made.

745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is gambling another good use case for coin to have more demand? on: May 28, 2020, 02:48:08 AM
Can gambling use case help a project to have good value in future? I was following a project called blockstamp and after they introduce their online casino platform in 2019 the coin surge over 1$ from 0.12$ I think, is gambling another way to make a coin demanding? Do you gamble online? E g casinos?

Crypto has been linked to a easy way of gambling. Bitcoin itself is one of the largest gambling coin and there are tokens that are made specifically for gambling. And gambling currencies has a relative success than most other tokens. Blockstamp for example is a gambling focused coin and if they are to receive success, it would be through gambling but it doesn't mean every coin should turn itself as a gambling coin as they are made for different intentions. And not every gambling coin receives similar success.

That's is true. It's not like Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency is made for gambling anyway. There are just cases where a gambling projects gets lucky enough to get a lot of traffic. Not all gambling sites gets to stay in the market though.

But if we are talking about gambling sites that is popular among the world but haven't implemented Bitcoin yet, then it would surely help with Bitcoin's adoption and price if Bitcoin where to be included in the top gambling sites of all time.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think shops should accept bitcoin? on: May 28, 2020, 02:41:40 AM
It's a matter of when are they going to use Bitcoin as a way of payment because eventually, merchants will find Bitcoin convenient for the users if Bitcoins popularity and adoption goes up even further. But the thing here is that, they will of course just makes Bitcoin as a way of payment rather than an actual price of Bitcoin. It might be a risky venture but it only is if they try to hold it.
747  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [SUGGESTION] Isang problemang mapapansin sa Local Board natin on: May 27, 2020, 01:05:42 PM

748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: May 27, 2020, 11:36:06 AM
To be honest, it's still cheap compared to other ways. It just depends on how large your Bitcoin is. Maybe the fees was high because of the halving? Because as of now, a lot of miners are turning off their rigs in order to reduce losses because we know that their profit was reduced by 50%. The networked got more clogged because of this I think. Just give it time, fees will gradually reduced overtime.
749  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud - Tulip Trust addresses signed message on: May 27, 2020, 05:03:55 AM
This is not just your common Fraketoshi news, this is probably the biggest news out there. I mean, if someone really has the key and it was signed that craig is a liar, then how can craig, aka faketoshi, prove that he really owns it? Didn't he says he is waiting for a supposed "courier" to give him the keys to those wallets? I wonder what his defense going to be since that courier really didn't come. Is he going to lie that his "courier" scammed him his key? because since he trusted that courier, he knows who he is but as we can see, it's not the case there. This is probably biggest news yet that could throw faketoshi to prison for good.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the trusted stablecoins to save money long-term? on: May 26, 2020, 02:50:50 AM
Remember though, most stablecoins are based on real fiats so it's really not not profitable to invest in them. The only option you have is the GOLD project. It is a stablecoin based on gold market. Gold is probably the safest investment as they are not as volatile as the other market. This project isn't as long as the other projects but this is probably the best gold cryptocurrency stablecoin I've seen so far. They have an active team and an active community. They are pretty transparent about their gold holdings and you can check it 24/7. You can just check it out here if you are interested.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do anybody know if there is a Best Crypto Project that Failed? on: May 26, 2020, 02:25:29 AM
I probably remembered deeponion. That coin was hype the entire 2017 and it was probably one of the most famous coins for bounty hunters and coins hunters alike. They are so active during those days but they've become silent now. That coin pumped 20$ each in 2017 but now it's struggling to go 1$. I can't really say they've failed because they are still running as of now but a lot of their team has left and the community has pretty much been silent compared to when they are at peak.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day on: May 26, 2020, 02:04:13 AM
The common misconception isn't really so much he bought only one pizza with 10,000 bitcoins, the misconception really is that he only made one 10,000 bitcoins for a pizza transaction.  He actually used anywhere from 30,000 to 35,000 bitcoins for several bitcoin for pizza purchases. If you follow his original tread here, you can see it several pages in to it where he admits doing such.

We can't do anything about it since 10,000 Bitcoin became a well known event for all of us. Nonetheless, this is a good fun fact about this event though. It's still pretty surprising that he still works though because I'd imagine him as someone who is living a carefree life with all his Bitcoin.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know why there won´t be any flippening? on: May 25, 2020, 03:51:43 AM
Bitcoin has a creator and that's the name Satoshi Nakamoto which is a pseudonym.

I think what he meant is that the creator of Bitcoin left in order to established decentralization which the other altcoins doesn't have. I do agree that Libra will only inherit the name "cryptocurrency" but will not be as decentralized as Bitcoin because they would want to maximize profit though. But the thing here is that, will it succeed? since Libra are branded as cryptocurrency, will it help for the adoption of Bitcoin?
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRUSTED PROJECT BOUNTY OR JUST SCAM ? on: May 25, 2020, 03:45:48 AM
My number source is the campaign manager. If the campaign manager is a reputable one, then the success chance of a bounty is high. At least that is what I've experience. At least someone who is in the field for 3 years and a hero/legendary rank members, this managers are the type to fully understand who are they dealing with and with that as a bounty hunter, your success would increase. Of course it still depends on the project developers. You'll have to check if they are real person and if they already have experience in working in the field.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Creator Dead on Covid-19? on: May 25, 2020, 03:38:23 AM
Chill guys, no need to attack the OP. Maybe he is just theorizing about it. Although we really don't have any information regarding the creator of Bitcoin, I don't think Satoshi dying will have any impact on Bitcoin as we really don't know who he is so there's no way the world would know. Even if he is already gone, he left us something that the world could use.

Though to be honest, it's really not important at this point because he already did what he wanted. Let's just give him a rest.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Fate of Privacy Coins on: May 24, 2020, 05:48:31 AM
It's not unexpected that the regulations will try to pressurized privacy coins like monero because of its anonymity. What I have in mind is that decentralized exchanges will be used by many who doesn't want their identities to be collected. P2P (or person to person transaction) and other similar to that will also be encourage as regulations tighten. I do not think privacy coin will be discourage though as many seek it and there's a whole community for it.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple should stop dumping XRP coins!! Let's all help to stop this! on: May 24, 2020, 04:36:09 AM
the dump has no effect on the price. ripple is centralized and it is been controlled by financial industries and individuals in the banking sector. they understands this game well and believe me, They are not dumping. they are reaching out to the community. Adoption at its best. cryptocurrency has come to stay and it is now an investment plan. some are already investing in it as a retirement plan.

I don't think a lot of people are using XRP as a retirement plan though. if you look at the market history, you can see that ripple has started to dump in price starting 2018. They've never made a major recovery from that and they have been stable at the price of $0.2 ever since. I don't think they'll ever recover from that though, at least not with the negative news floating around.
758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi isn't that rich. on: May 24, 2020, 03:54:56 AM
It's known that he may have a million BTC in his possession. The bitcoin network clearly showed that if satoshi makes transactions the price drops. Even if he is not satoshi, big transactions from old generated blocks is creating a trouble in the market.

If satoshi sells 500BTC price may drop 2-3k dollars. So he is not that rich, isn't he?  Tongue

He created this kind of technology that we are using right now, I bet he will not be that stupid to sell all his Bitcoin in go. Also, even if he sells 500 Bitcoin in one go, I don't it will drop 2-3k dollers. If you search the recent scam accident where the scammers tried to sell of 12,000 BTC, it only shave of 2k dollars in the market and that is partnered with FUD but we already recovered from that so I don't think 500 BTC would have an impact.

759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $GHOST by McAfee & allegations from Pivx & Chimera devs on: May 23, 2020, 05:48:47 AM
What? I didn't know this happened. I sure dodge a bullet right there. With this evidence pertaining to plagiarism, I doubt investors will invest in that coin anymore. I was suppose to invest in that as mention in my other post but thanks OP for informing us. I wonder what will mcafee response to this? how will he get out of this one? will he blame his developers and pretend that he isn't part of this?
760  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Heads up! "Researchers in Philippines Track Crypto Use By Terrorists" on: May 23, 2020, 05:03:14 AM
Tighter regulations has always been inevitable in my opinion, it's just that mas mauuna lang talaga sa mga bansa gaya ng US.

For me, it's an idiotic move by the terrorists if they would use crypto as a medium to finance their counterparts in Asia, specifically the Philippines. Converting crypto to fiat, they would use exchanges, dito pa lang ay masusunog na sila sapagkat mapilitan silang ibigay ang kanilang documents for KYC purposes.

Unless kung mayroon silang way para maglabas ng kanilang mga salapi na hindi gumagamit ng KYC. For sure ay may mga kilala na silang mga tao na kayang gumawa yoon.
