Hilarious, how did you come up with this? Grin
He's Debonaire 😂 not hilarious 😂😂😂

You better make sure there's some surprise at the end!
You'll get a cake from on your birthday profile...

Kiddin aside, I do suggest not to restart those 6 lives on every round, so it will be more thrilling 😅

You. Are. On. Fire.

Grin

edit: it's shocking to find out that although I've spent so many hours on this forum, I'm having a hard time to remember these board names. It's safe to say my visual memory is horrible.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2021 be the year of Litecoin? on: August 29, 2020, 01:06:50 PM
Do you think 2021 will be the year of Litecoin? Will it have it a higher price by the next halving?

LTC is one of the oldest coin in the crypto market and we've seen enough how this coin has been following Btc's price trend. The Mimblewimble might be the only reason for now for LTC to make a good run in 2021, but that's not automatic, since market competition and developments from other network competitors are consistent as well.
Nevertheless, Btc will have a huge chance for a bullrun next year, might as well LTC will follow suit. So, I might say LTC will have a good price in 2021.

Yup and atm we're seeing exaggerated transaction fees, which might give LTC some extra momentum, too. However, we still need to wait and see how LTC will do under the same circumstances and activity as BTC or ETH.

I wouldn't count out LTC just yet... at all...
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴[DeFi BOUNTY 125,000 DFINANCE COINS]🔴[Dfinance.co]Your Ideas Worth Money 💰 on: August 29, 2020, 12:22:47 PM
6. Any kind of spam is strictly prohibited

Are you sure about this, OP? If so, maybe it's time you started reporting "your" spammers, and kick them out of your campaign, because it looks like there's quite a few of them on your campaign list...
744  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone else having trouble earning Merit? on: August 29, 2020, 12:19:30 PM
If you'd indeed been here since 2017, you would have had some Merit by default, quod non. You've been here for hardly three days in two years of time and now you're wondering why you're having trouble earning Merit?

If I were you, I'd not try too hard to get some, because you won't get very far, looking at the quality of what you posted the last days. I'll report some and see what the mods think of it.
745  Other / Meta / Re: How well did you know our forum's sections? [GAME] on: August 29, 2020, 12:13:57 PM
Hilarious, how did you come up with this? Grin I got 11 already without losing a life, I'll try and finish all of them some other time.

You better make sure there's some surprise at the end! Like Satoshi's identity, phone number and shoe size or something of the likes. Cool
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: August 27, 2020, 01:56:25 PM
There's quite a few companies already offering debet and credit cards which are connected to your crypto wallet. One of them is the Estonian project "Change" that actually started on these boards and is still doing quite well afaik (I'm by the way in no way affiliated but have followed them from the very start of their campaign on this forum).

Your crypto is in this case indeed still converted to fiat, so that's probably not what you meant by your OP, but indirectly, it's possible to pay your supermarket bell using BTC.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin use? on: August 26, 2020, 02:50:28 PM
I only use Litecoin because the coin's transaction fees are very cheap and used a lot in transactions.

Sorry for being a pain in the *ss, but if you only use LTC for cheap fees and being used a lot in transactions, exactly what are you using the other coins for and why (edit: apart from speed, in which LTC probably also is one of the better options)?
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin use? on: August 26, 2020, 11:06:59 AM
And the founder of Litecoin actually sold all of his coins and is no more actively participating in its development.
is this a correct information? where did you get that information?

and if this information is true, I think there is no future for LTC

Gee mate, have you been living on Mars? This is almost 2 years ago and the communication was 100% transparent. Charlie Lee posted this: https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/7kzw6q/litecoin_price_tweets_and_conflict_of_interest/

By the way, he did not abandon Litecoin and is still very active on this forum.

I'll leave it to you to make your own conclusion.

But don't claim LTC has no future, if you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: August 26, 2020, 10:35:20 AM
As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

"So much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$??" What the hell are you even talking about? So much talk by whom??? Show us these posts.

A few days ago, you wrote this, but I guess you're too busy copy-pasting your Twitter links to remember what you posted 10 days ago:

all can make predictions and cannot be blamed for doing that because no one will be harmed by their predictions. although maybe the person who made the prediction is a person who is famous in the field of crypto, even though he could have made a wrong prediction and will not guarantee it can be true.

what is needed is the analysis itself because it determines where and what we will do, all the information is sufficient as a guide in helping to carry out further analysis.
get used to being able to analyze every token movement that we might be holding, because the need to analyze is pretty much available and we just need to determine what we will use to be the basis of analysis.

As you said so nicely: what is needed is the analysis. Then why don't you give us your analysis on Bitcoin and Ripple?

Bitcoin is a libertarian concept. Ripple is a centralized coin that users can't even mine themselves. They couldn't be more opposed to each other.

Instead of posting here, spend your time reading the Ripple Protocol and the Bitcoin Whitepaper. Will be a lot more useful to yourself and to this community.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚒ Syscoin -Blockchain Scalability, Trustless Interoperability for ERC20 projects on: August 26, 2020, 09:52:10 AM
The big news was, of course, about the collaboration between Binance and Syscoin / Blockchain Foundry for the development of a bridge between SYS and ETH while moving BUSD.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/binance-to-transfer-busd-across-blockchains-on-syscoin-ethereum-bridge

SYS prices jumped up and in a way it's quite ironic how Syscoin lost a lot of its value after the rumored Binance "hack" about 2 years ago, and now in a way gets rehabilitated on the exact same exchange.

Although it is old news but good for reminder purpose SYS is a hidden gem they are doing so many interesting things to make this more valuable in future. I also believe it is worth to HODL this as long term investment surely this project will outperform so many in coming days.

This might sound like a very very old price speculation thread reply, but don't forget the SYS supply is gigantic, so while there's probably still a lot of room for (out)performance, imho this is not a 10$ potential coin.
751  Other / Meta / Re: appeal against a ban on: August 26, 2020, 09:45:26 AM
(...) for about a year my account was inactive, and the violation for 2019 was discovered right now, why not earlier?

You're giving the answer to your own question: if you were inactive for a year, no-one would have started looking into your post history. Now you're active again and applying in bounties. Therefore, people rightfully check your post history to make sure you're not a shit poster, thus finding out that indeed you are - surprise - a shit poster.

Or did you expect people to congratulate you for not plagiarizing during the year your account was inactive?
752  Other / Meta / Re: How are we expected to rank up? on: August 26, 2020, 09:22:38 AM
Hello I'm a new user to this forum and I've been a lurker for quite some time before making an account. I decided it's time for me to start posting and contributing to the forums and hopefully learn more. One thing I noticed is the progression for new accounts seems incredible stunted to what used to exist, according to some users. How are new users expected to rank up with the current rules? Does anyone have any experience ranking up in this newer rank system?

Your first post is about ranking up? Don't you think your priorities are a bit backwards? Your rank is not holding you up from contributing to the forum. If you really need some high-rank features - buy a Copper membership. If you need something basic like posting images - create a post with those images and I'm sure some kind soul will send you one merit to make them show up if the post is worth it.

Says the shit posting self debunking fool wearing a chipmixer sig and foxpoop avatar for extra btc dust.

The only reason people really care about ranking up ( perhaps except from newbie) is financial considerations. Legendary especially legendary DT1 crew hold an iron grip over board revenue via sigs and management positions , escrow etc. (...)

1. Meta board you found the jackpot for merit
2. Wall observer thread
Make sure to get there and eat as much ass as you can of merit sources and DT1 ( generally the same thing since merit determines DT1 selection) agree with all the stupid shit they spew out and attack anyone that presents infallible indisputable rebuttals.
3. Do some scam hunting of course ignore the scams DT and merit sources are in on or promoting.
4. Make a ton of useless stats based on the meaningless gamed merit system that pronounces all the non achieving retards with lots of self awarded merits are amazing and valuable real legends.
5. Pretend you have no interest in sigs until on DT1 so you can go straight to CM
6. If a DT1 tells to do something like betray a real friend or reject a valid flag on their sponsor or pal do it at once
7. Anyone who dares present irrefutable evidence of DT scamming is cryptohunter make sure to be first to ID them as such
8. Do not say the word 'fat' in any thread suchmoon may look in on.
9. Don't be overly nice to suchmoon. Best not have any direct contact until you win favor of the other DT1s
10. Say good things about the sponsors of DT1
11. As you get some merit praise how brilliant the merit system is and how it is a perfectly indicator of how smart useful a member is and what they have achieved.
12. Once you've eaten enough ass, supported enough retarded and broken arguments, and helped enough scammers, and tried to punish enough whistleblowers,  have betrayed enough friends and know you have past the point of no return in becoming a corrupt and dirty subservient debased and defiled piece of scum... you will be a hero or legend on Dt1 getting that btc sig dust rolling in.

Go forth now and fill ya boots.

Or just learn to trade and earn 100x more in under 6 months.

Damn mate, I think you're taking this whole thing a little bit too seriously. Especially for someone who earns 100x more.

13. Go outside from time to time. There's a whole world out there.
753  Other / Meta / Re: How are we expected to rank up? on: August 25, 2020, 07:46:06 AM
It's not a good sign if your very first post on these boards is about Merit. I can't read your mind, but you're probably here for the money from the very beginning and it's a recipe for frustration, you'll see.

I also was a "lurker" once, and when I registered my account, I knew about airdrops but I had no idea AT ALL that people got paid for wearing these signatures. I honestly believed they were worn by people who really believed in the project, or that these people were hoping to raise prices by "signature shilling". Hilarious, now that I think about it.

Anyway, it was my luck, because once the concept Merit was launched, it became more a matter of reputation to me than a matter of money and I'm [edit: NOT Grin] on this forum to gain a living (for that I have a job, you know), but basically to have a good time. Which makes that, like at the moment, sometimes I participate in bounties - which is great - and sometimes I have no sig at all - which is great too. Imo, it's the only "healthy" way of being a member of this community.

PS: But to give an answer to your question. Don't absolutely try to write top quality posts, because it will feel forced and artificial, but absolutely try to not write crap or spam. Participate like a normal human being. Merit will follow automatically.
754  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Maandelijkse updates voor btc on: August 24, 2020, 10:45:52 AM

755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 23, 2020, 09:03:19 PM
Free Paulaner on the Marienplatz! Wink I guess this year's party will be a little bit different because of the corona measures...

Was watching online - my connection got stuck for about two minutes and I missed out on the goal dammit, and honestly around the 60th minute still thought PSG was going to win the match Roll Eyes
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 23, 2020, 08:27:53 PM
Let's say that at least there is a certain existing "impression" by people who don't know better, that trading BTC makes you vulnerable to scams. I'm quite sure that this is only temporary, since BTC has no monopoly on scams, on the contrary...

But indeed, I'm quite sure that this negative reputation does in any case not accelerate the integration of BTC in everyday life. So I wouldn't state that scams are really harmful, but they probably slow down BTC's acceptance in the "mainstream world", as you called it.
757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to DYOR in investing on: August 23, 2020, 01:01:10 PM
Nice work OP.

One of the most difficult things for people on these boards is to not only read about DYOR and know that you should, but actually doing it. How many members on these boards who participate in bounty campaigns or even invest money in new projects, have actually taken the time to read the complete whitepaper? Some projects even create "one pagers", because they know most people don't even bother reading the whole WP.

So rule number one of DYOR should be to actually do your own research and not just having the intention of doing so. Wink

Allow me to add a link to your thread, to a post I made over 2 years ago - a short DYOR checklist - which is however still as relevant today: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4388247.

Feel free to add your comments. I don't tend to bump my posts, but I'm sure it can be helpful to others in the future, too.
758  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earn Cryptocurrency on: August 23, 2020, 11:18:30 AM
The first mistake OP makes, is writing "Earn" in the title and "for free" in the body of the message. It's one thing or the other.

One doesn't earn for free.

The best way is to get a job and buy cryptocurrency with your salary, instead of spending your time on these boards.

I'd invite all beginners to have a look at OP's post history. All the time he spends on twitter, telegram and whatnot, is time lost forever. He could have used that time to work and have an income to buy crypto.
It's not entirely wrong because few years back many people did earn crypto just by simply providing their wallet address. What i'm talking about is airdrops and faucet works too but at this time those platform won't do much thing now especially airdrops. As of now, mostly people have to do something forst before earning crypto.

Of course mate, I know what you are talking about, but honestly, after having spent all their time on faucets and airdrops, I'm wondering how much money they really made if you'd convert it into "USD/hour".
759  Other / Meta / Re: [NSFW] - question about suicide note in scam accusation on: August 23, 2020, 11:11:12 AM
I think we need to have some comfort for him to reduce his anger.

I'm sorry for being cynical, but the guy's an insult to everyone who struggles with real psychological issues.

Making such remarks over 0.7 BTC, is simply scandalous.
760  Other / Meta / Re: [NSFW] - question about suicide note in scam accusation on: August 23, 2020, 11:01:04 AM
This topic needs to be addressed seriously.

No one will post about suicide openly in this forum until the situation they are in has affected him deeply. It is bad to hear that the member lost all his money due to his gambling addiction.

I do not think it is a bluff but moderators here can certainly add an NSFW tag to the topic.

I'm not sure if you noticed that he's posted this 2 weeks ago and been changing his ways several times since then. Meanwhile he's changed his story from "scam" to "just lazy". I hope I'm not mistaken, but the guy's a drama queen.

Further on, I hope he gets the money that's rightfully his soon, and does not remain a member of this forum.
