741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked Cryptocurrency Exchange Cryptopia Goes Into Liquidation on: May 19, 2019, 12:16:20 AM
1 by 1 they will all go down till people open their eyes and start seeking for security. What do you think? And are DEXes going to be more usable exchanges instead of CEXes in the near future?
Thus is another sign and proof to why you should never go and seek to put money into not so popular exchanges just because they take less fees, it is just better to use exchanges that are popular and secure than to go look into dodgy ones, things like these have been happening, it happens to binance where they get hacked but at least nothing has changed and people had their money and no withdraws were delayed, and i don't think that any exchange would do that.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties with limitations pays higher rewards on: May 18, 2019, 11:38:28 PM
RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN A BOUNTY CAMPAIGN = HIGHER PAYOUTS

The limitations can be done in two ways:

1)Quantative — when a max number of participants is set and no one is allowed to join after that.

Example: Max 1000 entrants in a facebook campaign

2)Qualitative — when the requirements are raised up by the bounty managers.

Example: Minimum 500 followers to participate in an article/blogging campaign.
I am not a bounty manager or very familiar with bounties, but the reason the limitations that you mentioned don't exist is because first bounties are made to promote their projects on social media and forums where there are thousands of people, and if like they recruit just a couple hundreds all the posts and tweets that they do will just be forgotten and not seen by the sheer amount of spam on these platforms, the more people they recruit the less of that happening in order to make this bounty successful, and the more people means less payments, and you see where this is going.
743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to actually start earning from Trading & END LOSES on: May 18, 2019, 11:21:17 PM
You can't really avoid or end losses in crypto trading, the nature of how it is unpredictable and volatile makes predicting the prices really hard, so loses are bound to happen at some point no matter how confidant you are with you trades, the only way to minimize the loses is by maxing your profits, and to do that you need to actually know what you are doing and not just doing what you see others saying or predicting how the price is gonna change, but you have to be patient and not greed, and make your decision based on your own knowledge.
744  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks, Nordstrom And Whole Foods Now Accept Bitcoin on: May 18, 2019, 10:41:27 PM
There are also rumors about Ebay considering accepting bitcoin, and as someone who uses it all the time i think that might be actual the spark that will ignite the bitcoin's rocket, and i think that these rumors have a part in the recent price increase and if gets confirmed i think we might actually see bitcoin go to very high values, if eBay accept it and it succeed bitcoin becoming a main stream will just be a matter of time until other major companies do as well.
745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: May 18, 2019, 09:13:20 PM
When people ask, What do you do for a living? I have a full time job, but I also trade crypto-currency.  I do not like telling them about my currency and Bitcoin activities because when I tell people about trading currency online our relationship sometimes changes. They start scheming or they think "I can do that, better than you" and I suspect they want to secretly start trading too.

Does anybody relate to this?
Actually i am pretty open about my crypto trading, it is always an ice breaker and a conversation starter when people ask me what do you do fo a living and i say i work and do a bit of trading on the side, and if they ask about what it is and how it is going i start explaining, i agree that some people don't like and think that it is stupid and a waste of time and money, but other just get really interested and we become friend and i feel better for introducing them to crypto, which is honestly what we all need to do to spread the word and make the community grow and expand.
746  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining in the cloud vs simply buying bitcoin on: May 18, 2019, 08:49:13 PM
Bitcoin cloud mining was only popular only back in 2014 and 2015 and that was back when the mining difficulty was low, and even back than it was not that profitable, the popularity of it had completely died out when one of the sites that was to be legit just completely shuts off without a trace and with millions of dollars of people's money, and that was when people had enough and lost all trust, so any existing could mining site right now is just a scam and if it is not than it is not profitable so don't try to invest in them and just buy and hold bitcoin for profit.
747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: May 18, 2019, 08:08:41 PM
Hi Guys:

Where do you see Bitcoin Value in 2020 ?

I believe more than $50,000. What do you think?

Which industry will get most affected if Bitcoin's value is more than $50,000 ?

Steve
It is always good to be optimistic and positive towards the future of bitcoin, but don't ask where its value is going to be but the state that it is going to be in it, for example when bitcoin reached nearly 20k back in 2017 it saw are real drop down because of the regulations and how governments started shutting it down, i think that bitcoin will get to high level like 20k or even 30k in 2020 but i can only see it doing so if nothing goes wrong and we don't get any bad things happening along the way.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suggest participate in airdrop? why? on: May 18, 2019, 08:01:47 PM
Nowadays many ICOs offer free coins, but we have two problems with this free coins, the first one the value of this coins will drop after start trading due to a lot have free coins willing to sell it, and the second they ask for your ID (KYC), and i think it is very risky to send your IDs to any one.
The crypto market has become folded with a lot of shitcoins and projects that are just pump and dump and scams, and in this environment it is hard to tell which one are which, and even if the ICO is not successful and the coin that they are offering goes to dust, they will still make profit from your personal information by selling them, so if you think that KYC are just there to preserve security and legitimacy than you are wrong, so don't ever give your personal info just for probably less than a dollar that you are gonna make from that airdrop.
749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question for more experience traders! on: May 18, 2019, 07:53:46 PM
For those who trade both crypto and stocks. Which market is more predictive and easier to trade?
You can't really compare both market because each has their factors and pace, and none of them are really that predictable and if you really depend on them to make most of your trades than it will bite in the ass and you will lose more than you will win, that said though stocks market are heavily depends on companies and what they really do, so at least you can make an educated guess and make decisions based on what that company announce, but in crypto you can't do that because everything is community driven.
750  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a value reserve? on: May 18, 2019, 07:08:46 PM
Because could bitcoin represents a value reserve or acts as a "digital gold", really could it change the world in a deterministic sense?
In theory use, bitcoin similar to gold have a limited supply and a high demand that is ever increasing, and for bitcoin once all of the supply is limited the price is going to keep increasing, and it will become a rare thing to have, bitcoin as you said could make a change in the world, but there are people who are in their interest that bitcoin stays the way it is and falls down and perch, people who have the power lack vision and they only make decision based on their interest and not the world, but time only is capable of changing this so we have to keep supporting it.
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a store like Amazon or ebay that accepts only BTC would you use it? on: May 18, 2019, 01:35:51 AM
What I'm trying to ask is would you use that type of store with your crpyto (maybe that store accepts more crypto not only BTC) or you see crypto only as an asset that will provide you more fiat money in the future?
To be honest no, not that i don't like to use crypto to buy stuff, i used to do so by using bitcoin debit cards to buy from amzaon and ebay, but probably such sites will probably be much more expensive than other stores and also they would not have a variety of items and option such as the ones that don't accept crypto, and probably if a site was going to accept crypto it will accept bitcoin and most of the bitcoin community are holders and don't want to spend their bitcoin, and other cryptos are still not viable enough to be used for payments on websites.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO you think ICO websites help investors to choose best ICO to participate? on: May 18, 2019, 01:20:05 AM
DO you think ICO websites help investors to choose best ICO to participate.
Now there is a lot of websites rating ICOs, most of this websites rate the ICOs, but in other hand this websites charge fees from ICOs.
Which means that this evaluation may not be accurate, so do you trust these websites? and do you recommend using them?

With the state of the market, and how it is flooded with shit coins and every now and then a new ICO popus up it is really confusing as many of them might be a scam, and others are just a pump and dump, so what some of these ICOs will actually pay rating sites and influencers to promote their project even if it is not that worth it, just to get people to invest in it, and you can see this not just in review websites but every where on YouTube and even here on this forum.
753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay accepts crypto? on: May 17, 2019, 02:18:40 PM
It's rumores ebay is gonna to start accepting crypto payments. Have u heard? I am glad that more e-commerce companies are starting to allow the use of cryptocurrency to pay. It can be assumed that Amazon and Ebay will develop their own cryptocurrency
So i am still spectacle about this news, because there is another news which makes this weird, eBay did not announce that they will be accepting bitcoin in it self which is yet to be conformed, on the other hand there are rumors about Paypal developing its own crypto, which leads me to believe that they are working on a crypto just like Facebook, that it will be used on their platform on ebay, it might seem like its good news but if this coin which they are creating to be used on ebay means that it is going to be centrelized, but as always these are just rumors and things yet to be announced.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Hits $270: $300 Next? on: May 16, 2019, 12:18:25 PM
I mean with the bitcoin rising up it sure going to have a significant impact on the crypto market overall, and i am sure that ethereum will be the first of those that is going to feel that impact as its price is starting to improve, hitting 300$ is not significant enough, but it might be the push that it needs to skyrocket and get back or even surpass its highest point, but i personally think that by the end of the year we might see it hitting the 500$ threshold or even higher if the crypto market keeps its rise.
755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull or bull trap on: May 16, 2019, 11:39:48 AM
I'm really confused, I want to know if it's time to cash in or to cash out, suffered lots of losses last year
Just hold and wait, i mean we are already making better numbers than last year and it seems that the price is going up everyday and to think that we were at 3k just 2 months ago seems to me like a very promising sign that it is going to keep getting better, i personally recommend that you just hold and wait to cash out until the Q3 of the years just because that usually the time that others start cashing out as well, but if you have made a significant profit i would just play it safe and not get greedy and just cash out.
756  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Amazon accept crypto if Bitcoin skyrocket again? on: May 16, 2019, 11:11:54 AM
It is not something that is impossible to happen, i mean recently there have been rumors about eBay might start accepting bitcoin and other crypto as payment method and if that happens, it will change the whole vision of other companies towards it and if it successful and proves to attract many people , we will definitely see not just amazon but other major companies starting to accept it as well, things are moving so fast and crypto is actually making some significant impact, so you it might start taking over sooner than we know it.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmed! PayPal Joined Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Business on: May 16, 2019, 10:24:51 AM
The Blockchain and Cryptocurrency world is expanding on daily basis, we have see JP Morgan, Fidelity and even rumors of facebook, and now it is PayPal becoming part of the technology.
"We have teams clearly working on blockchain and cryptocurrency" This was said by PayPal CFO in an interview.

source: https://www.cryptoinformers.info/news/128-we-are-working-on-blockchain-and-cryptocurrency-paypal

This will mean a lot to crypto world.
This is makes totally sense, since Paypal is part of ebay and ebay have said that they are working on implementing bitcoin and crypto payment in the future, it does not come to a surprise that they may be working to create their own crypto, and since crypto has really made quite an impact the past 2 years and the number of users is increasing significantly every day, you know that companies are definitely going to jump on the hype train either to not be left out or to get a piece of the cake and claim profit for this revolution that is going on in the finical field.
758  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What trading strategy do you guys use? on: May 15, 2019, 11:19:29 PM
Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?
There is not really any kind of strategy that you should stick to and follow that will prove to be successful every time, at first i thought that trading crypto was just all technicalities and strategies, but it is unpredictable and volatile that you need to be able to adjust and make decision based on how the market moves and that is something that keeps you on edge and if you stick to one way of doing things you will end up losing more than you will be wining, so strategies should move as the market moves.
759  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto to trigger a global bank run? on: May 15, 2019, 09:45:41 PM

I think everyday trust toward to the money is rapidly depleted, and people will finally realised how ignorant and gullible they’re to just earn the IOU garbage fake money, do you think crypto will trigger the complete bank run? Or any other delusional store of value that we don’t know yet?
I do think that crypto will be the downfall of fiat, but i don't think that it will lead to banks's downfall, because first by the time crypto starts making a significant impact or comes close to that government will have a back up plan by creating an alternative digital currency that they will backing it up, and that is one of the reason they are not accepting or at least acknowledging currencies like bitcoin, and by that time surely banks will transition from banking fiat to bank whatever digital currency used.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: May 15, 2019, 08:57:37 PM
I'm curious to know what the community thinks in terms of how user friendly entering this market is? I know we've come a long way from the days when UX/UI was extremely poor for most companies but are there other areas that require improvement?
Using bitcoin and crypto, is not really that hard, if you are a beginner all you need is a wallet that you can easily sign up to get on one of the online apps like coinbase and blockchain and than you are good to go to start earning some crypto, but as you dive more deeper into this world, you start exploring and learning the ropes you discover more ways that require more knowledge and understanding, for example how to set up an offline wallet and private keys to secure your funds.
