761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 24, 2019, 03:23:03 PM
Whether the addiction is a mental deficiency or simply as a love for something?
When someone loves a sport is he or she addicted?
If you feel that you are addicted to something then it is better to consult a doctor as you need help, i cannot authoritatively say that it is a mental deficiency but the fact is that all the addicts will not find out whether they are impulsive or not and only a third person can judge your actions but if you understand that something is not normal then it is well and good. I do smoke and it is hard for me to stop completely but gambling i have my control.
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2019, 02:05:54 PM
Very true, these are the newbies who have weak faith with bitcoin because they only invest in bitcoin because it can give big profits but with todays price that is sometimes bearish then they will loss faith in bitcoin.
Anyone who came after hearing the price of bitcoin soaring invested or accumulated bitcoin to make money and if someone says they are here to have a revolutionary system to challenge the world is simply lying, so if there is anyone who invested in bitcoin think that the price will go down then they would sell off so that they can enter at a lower rate and that is how you cut your losses and there is nothing bad in that.

The only people whose with bitcoin are those who have been with bitcoin through thick or thin. Bitcoin is very volatile and that investors should know better.
Every investor getting into bitcoin is well aware of the volatile nature of bitcoin and if you tell that you invested your money and the price of bitcoin does not matter then you are lying, having some emotional or movie words is great to hear but if there is a drastic pull back in the market i bet you will also sell to cut the losses so that you can enter at a later time Tongue.

In Vienna Open, Kukushkin defeated Boric, and Monfils had to go to a 3 set to get past  Novak, 2-6, 7-5, 6-3.
I was expecting Mikhail Kukushkin to win alteast a set in this match but he won both the sets in grand fashion  Cheesy, i was having doubt with the way Borna Coric was performing and i expecting Kukushkin to create some problems in the match and he won and glad to win the parlay as Gaël Monfils won the match, on seeing the first set i thought i lost the bet but then he came back and won the game  Grin.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 24, 2019, 10:17:05 AM
Team politics is a part of any sport(Not just Cricket) and every captain favors certain players. CSK was already screwed for 2 years thanks to their administration(Not the players) and they bounced back in a remarkable fashion. Think before posting wild statements about CSK fixing matches etc(I am a fan of SRH btw).
If there is no unity in a team they are not able to perform well and no captain can favor a player who is not having the caliber to perform, match fixing is predominant in sports but i did not understand your statement here, how the actions of an administration let the entire team to be banned, several teams were banned when there was a match fixing scandal in the IPL and CSK was also banned during that time if i am not wrong.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From financial debt to financial stability- thanks to bitcoin on: October 24, 2019, 06:28:20 AM
Without bitcoin my life was a mess, I was full of stress. But bitcoin changed my life and here I am now a financially stable individual. Though I am not a millionaire but I am no longer in poverty.

Whats your bitcoin life changing story?
No doubt bitcoin changed many lives in a short period of time and we are lucky enough to have this technology and the new market at the right time but the scammers took over the market in storm in this market too and unless there is regulation and other intervention it will be difficult for the new users to trust this market as we have already seen scam exchanges running off with the coins citing exchange hack, ponzi pyramid schemes and fake projects but all in all bitcoin helped many and good to hear about your story.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 23, 2019, 05:26:28 PM
Maybe his team is employing, a different strategy this time, because they know Joshua is employing a different strategy this time, they want to caught Joshua by surprised, Ruiz will be light but if he maintain that punching power then Joshua will be in big trouble, speed and power will overwhelm Joshua if he has that two, this is going to be very interesting, if we shall see a fight where it left off or we will another new fight.
May be these are all mental games to have an advantage over the opponent and when it comes to the fight i still give an advantage to Andy Ruiz when it comes to technical skills and in the heavyweight division everyone has the punching power and if you are caught you are going down, i see this fight Joshua showing some defensive skills and movement a lot and wait for the counter punch and there is no doubt both will be well prepared.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 23, 2019, 10:22:56 AM
Have you ever thought of donating the gambling profits to a charitable cause ?  Sometime people won a big lottery or very high amount of money from betting & gambling games.  Do you ever thought of being generous and helping the poor with this money ?
During the early days of gambling if people win big we used to give airdrops for fun so that some could also try out their luck, i have not won a ton of money but still it is fun during those times but not anymore as the price keeps on increasing the fun part will decrease with time  Grin. I am not that generous to help the poor with the money i get from gambling because now a days i seldom gamble and if i win big and i find someone who deserve something then i might help them.
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 23, 2019, 09:07:38 AM
Today we have some matches to wage a bet and in Vienna open today there is Gael Monfils facing Dennis Novak and considering their form i am going with Gael Monfils to win and in another match Borna Coric is facing Mikhail Kukushkin and considering the bad form Borna Coric is in for the past few weeks i am expecting Mikhail to win a set.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be the Bitcoin Price If..... on: October 23, 2019, 06:10:37 AM
Will it be Zero?  Or just as much someone is willing to pay to buy btc
Even before there was any exchanges people were trading bitcoin in this forum, so you cannot say that the value will be zero but the price would not have reached this level if there was no liquidity in the market or open exchanges to trade, once the gox launched the price started to grow as there were more traders and then the rally in the price started and it took off and now we can really see the change in the market from the early stages as i was lucky enough see the growth from the start.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV vs ETH on: October 23, 2019, 04:01:23 AM
Isn't it people are saying that BSV is a shitcoin? Or just another pump and dump coin? And although its a big blockers and it's been touted as the solution for bitcoin's scalability problem, but the blocks hasn't been maximised at all.
You cannot say that they are not maximizing the block size as they already scaled 49 MB and crossed 100 MB blocks last year and are trying 1 GB blocks and that is a feat in itself but the problem is that there are not many users and the biggest problem you will encounter is orphan blocks and there are other problems that will occur when dealing with bigger blocks including network issue while propagating could create a mess.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 22, 2019, 11:11:14 PM
I guess you don't calculate the time span of the fast hand of Ruiz because he's somehow slow to me and you mention Pacman to be fast I will agree with you.
May be the hand speed of Andy Ruiz is slow to you as you are sitting in front of a high definition television and watching the fight in slow motion Tongue Please do not compare the hand speed of small kids with the big boys  Grin If you are aware you are comparing with a fighter who started fighting at 112 lb to the hand speed of a heavyweight fighter  Roll Eyes.

You'll understand that it not difficult to predict who will actually the winner of the rematch between the two if you follow them well and watch their training improvement.
If you can predict the fight result by just watching the training then you could have won many bets till now, a millionaire in the betting world luring the forum, cast your fight prediction at all times so that minions like us could make some money Tongue.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV vs ETH on: October 22, 2019, 07:48:47 PM
Shit vs crap.
On one side you have ETH, the centralized toy project of Vitalik; and on the other side you have bsv, the scam. Hard to pick a winner tbh but eth is probably the less scammy one. I would dump both of them in the trash can though.
I do accept it as a shit vs crap battle but if you are calling one a scam then all the altcoin in the market is a scam as they all copy the same shit in a new bottle with minor tweaks here and there and if you are in that same page then i understand what you are trying to say. All the coins in the market had one intention to make money and everyone had that leverage and i dumped majority of the coins when i had my profit. There is nothing like a less scam coin, everything is a scam one way or the other except bitcoin.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 22, 2019, 04:54:23 PM

The deciding moment will happen after the last bell and whoever will win is deserving as both fighters have their own styles and since this a rematch
the much hunger boxers will be more aggressive to get the title. With how Joshua take the loss seriously momentum would be on his side though Ruiz in the other hands already have a good glimpse on how he will manage to change paces and never to allow Joshua to see the same style of fighting and make another surprise.
The way in which Anthony Joshua winning the rematch is by a knockout and i am not expecting him to go the distance and if it goes the distance it will favor Andy Ruiz as he is much technical in his approach and fast hands for a heavyweight, as mentioned earlier by some users his reduced weight might play a factor but Anthony Joshua is not famous for being a technical wizard, his power is his weapon and now he is facing elite level boxers and Ruiz was just the start and the rematch determines how his future will be.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 22, 2019, 03:57:11 PM
You're right with what you said and this is also the reason why I believed Joshua is the winner of the rematch because he has realized his mistake and he's so calculative and doesn't even let the rematch bother his emotion while Ruiz in the other hand was training to lose weight.
It is hard to estimate now how Anthony Joshua will counter the fast hands of Andy Ruiz, even if Joshua underestimated him in the first fight it is very difficult to predict that he will be much equipped to take him on as Ruiz was much faster and Joshua was not having any defense for his fast hands and he quit in the corner which shows his weak heart and he will easily give up. If you think on a positive side we can think that he is smart enough to reduce the damage but his weakness is exposed, by 7 December 2019 we will get a concrete answer.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram (GRAM tokens) to be live in few weeks on: October 22, 2019, 03:17:29 PM
~snip
It will be all depends on its investors but i think there is a a big chance that the majority will wait and agree to extend the launch rather than refunding their money. Asia is big contributor but it was also a big percentage in the US investors that can be a downside to telegrams total raised. Hope everything goes with the plan and they can pass in this SEC lawsuit.
If the regulators keep on creating issues for their launch then there will be a level of patience for any investors and they do not want to see their money being held ideally doing nothing and they might ask for the refund and no project will be successful challenging the government, either they have to move out to countries that will accept them or to follow SEC and make the changes they want.
776  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 22, 2019, 02:41:02 PM
The first reason is always so, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies do not have a consistent stability, payment will not be so easy when prices go up and down in too large a range, timely adjustment of goods to the price of bitcoin is impossible, and we all don't know who is the owner and manager of bitcoin
If you are an merchant you can accept bitcoin and convert the coins to fiat instantly and it is not a hard task as there are companies like bitpay to help you out in that matter and you can calculate the valuation according to the market situation and hence it is not an excuse another thing you mentioned here is that you are not comfortable about the creator of bitcoin, it does not matter as it is an open source project and there are dedicated managers that are taking care of the project.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My list of 5 Sleeping Giants of 2020 :) on: October 22, 2019, 12:27:04 PM
2.  ADA (Cardono): ADA will defeat the multi-billion dollars shitcoin, EOS, which is run by some kid with a shitty track record. I don't even understand how their ICO generated so much cashflow
Not sure which shit coin will win in the end and the market usually gets funds for any projects in the past and the future of these projects will be known only if they are able to survive the next ten years.

3. BNB (Binance Coin): Owning BNB is more comparable to owning shares in a company than most coin offerings, but even at $18.00 it is so undervalued. Binance is to crypto-trading what Apple is (or used to be) to the retail tech industry. Bigger, faster, and more creatively Binance's growth internationally will inevitably drive up the price of its own coin. This is true despite the fact that a large majority of users can't even access BNB (the US) without going through backdoor channels. Every other exchange just creates a platform and leaves it running. Binance is actually developing partnerships with countries, banks, and ICOs to offer a variety of offerings no other exchange offers.
I am not sure how you evaluate a pre mined coin where Binace hold majority of the coins they created to have a higher valuation than it is now Roll Eyes.
They claim that they are burning millions worth of BNB coin according to the white paper but it is not clear how they are compensated whenever they burn the coins, so it is all gimmicks and still confused how you can even compare it to Apple Roll Eyes.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: October 22, 2019, 10:55:16 AM
At this point the only way I can see it reach that price is by solving blockchain trilemma. Ethereum 2.0 phase zero will be launching on January 2020 but we don't know what to expect in the next couple of years. If the overall transition will be successful within 2 to 3 years reaching $2500 would be easy.
I know this is a mega thread and there a lot of conversation regarding it, but it just want to ask one thing to you, suppose they launch the next phase and it will carry on to the next blockchain and the current blockchain will be left alone, how do you view that as an investor point of view if you do not have a plan and keep on changing with every update, so what do you expect, people will invest billions after the launch so that the developers will make more money, it is not going to happen and the expectation will kill ETH.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram (GRAM tokens) to be live in few weeks on: October 22, 2019, 09:53:14 AM
The roadmap seems out of the track several times , the stable TON scheduled to deploy on fourth quarter 2018 but then delayed .
And now the token distribution delayed to by the end of first quarter of 2020 ... possibly early second quarter 2020
When they started the private sale they had a deadline of October 31 to launch the TON if not they will refund every investor and now the SEC has interfered in that it all depends upon how the investors will corporate with all these legal battles, things are looking gleam for the Telegram team to launch this project and if the majority of the investors decline their approval to extend the release of the TON then they need to start refunding everyone and it will be another loss for the team, it all depends on how the team will handle all these hurdles.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: October 22, 2019, 06:55:36 AM
Before he wakes up, you better save any amount from him, because you will get great profits after he wakes up.
I'm also holding the LTC bit by bit that I bought a few months ago. I will sell it by the end of 2020 later.
If you are looking for profit then there are other coins better than litecoin to make a profit and in my opinion dogecoin is better than the rest of the altcoin because of its low valuation, Litecoin might be a sleeping giant but i am not expecting a huge rally in its price, but with dogecoin i am expecting the price to increase atleast five times than the current valuation when the market rallies and hence i consider it as viable investment than litecoin  Wink.
