761  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: July 14, 2016, 11:14:48 AM
I heard this was the halving, so it might be very good if you buy bitcoin today, because it may be tomorrow, or next week the price of bitcoin will rise to $ 800, and you can sell it and make a profit, but before that you have to buy very much bitcoin to benefit very much

You're going way too fast now. The price will most likely remain below $700 this entire month as the is no real upwards incentive. Maybe that next month will bring some more growth.

I agree with that. The price will trade around $600 to $700 for a few months. Then it will rise suddenly.
I think that it is time to buy because if the price is going to be higher after the halving you will have to pend even more money.
So buy now if you have the chance and the money because if not you maybe will regret it after the halving.

Yeah current price is good to buy if we think of the future, as price will start moving up after few months so buying at this stage can be really profitable.

if you're a firm holder, then sure, holding your coins for the long term will pay off considerably. a lot people however sell too early to secure some small profits, or they sell in panic because the price is going down heavily.
762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 09:55:13 AM
Nope, I only put my extra income or my excess of my daily needs. Maybe someday if bitcoin is acceptable to all matter.
I don't think so if putting all your money into bitcoin is a great idea.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Yes, i too I will not put my real money in Bitcoin. I will collect coins from Signature campaign and will do other works and earn coins. I never put my money in risk. If Bitcoin price stable than I can think to put our money in Bitcoin. But it is not stable, So i will not take any chance to lose my money.

it's good of course that you have set yourself some rules before putting your money into bitcoin, but what not many people seem to understand, is that you won't lose anything if you're not selling your coins. as a holder you some times see your coins go down in value, but the long term is your target where you will get a good return on your coins. that's what you should be pointing your focus at.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin on a online store on: July 13, 2016, 01:59:52 PM
the more merchants start accepting bitcoin, the better. so i definitely say go for it! adding an extra form of payment will potentially bring in more revenue. the only thing to take in mind is that you should not expect miracles or a direct increase in revenue just because you started accepting bitcoin as payment option. if you do some advertising so that people know they can start paying with bitcoin in your store, then it gives you a much higher chance compared to when you silently add bitcoin as payment option.
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too slow on: July 13, 2016, 01:41:42 PM
Transactions are too slow. Will someone fix it or do we need a better coin?

Transactions are not slow. It is the number of confirmations that somehow slow down your transactions. Confirmation differ from one site to another some have one, others have two, three, four, five , six, seven, and eight. But make sure to include a miners fee to you every transaction so that it will be more faster. Without the fee you are waiting longer than you will expect.
transaction without confirmation mean the funds actually still owned by the sender, when it got rejected the funds will get back to the sender address so we can't actually call it a transaction or finished transaction

there is no need to wait days for the transaction to get rejected and the funds show up again. you can just double spend your coins, but with this time an appropriate fee included. if this transaction gets confirmed, the other transaction will simply vanish.
765  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: July 13, 2016, 01:06:20 PM
Bitcoin has been rising up this past few weeks and continue to rise, what do you think?
will bitcoin continue to rise at the end of the month or it will have a sudden drop?

Right now bitcoin isn`t rising. It`s around 680$-640$ even after halving day.

I guess the 770$ peak last month was because of agressive buying before the halving.

Man, i want bitcoin to grow really fast.

If it will grow faster then are full chances that it will fall faster too, its always good to have steady and stable growth for the betterment of bitcoin in future.
Why would you guys want to see the faster growth of bitcoins, I see it not a normal grow and anything not normal is very risky and would not give us a good future in terms of our investment.

people want to see the price go up quick as it will allow them to make quick profits. that's their only motive when they want to see the price increase. it however doesn't work like that. patience pays off way better in the long run.
So if they will make quick profits are they gonna stop investing in bitcoins? I think not, they will still and wait for another price increase, it would be best to just hold as you can save your time and you only need to do is just trust.

of course they will not stop. bitcoin allows people to make great profits in quite a short time. the price goes up, and the price goes down. it allows people to repeat their trading moves and make profit time on time again. this is for traders that know how to benefit from the current volatility. people that are not that much into trading can just hold their coins as that doesn't require any effort or knowledge.

767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: July 13, 2016, 11:52:54 AM
future of bitcoin is depends on how many people hold it and used it if the user of bitcoin will increase the price of bitcoin will continue to increase too.

The bitcoin should be a currency. So the value depends on the user numbers and the trade volumes.

bitcoin already is a currency. and beside that, every market in the world is controlled by whales. the number of people does have a certain impact on the price, but these people are no market movers. the big boys are in full control at this point. and there is nothing that can change it since the wealth spread is unfair just like in the real world.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PlayStore accepting Bitcoin? on: July 13, 2016, 11:42:17 AM
it would be a great thing of course, but for me personally there is not really a need for this sine i top up my account balance with gift cards that i receive digitally instantly. i think that google play store will be much earlier with adding bitcoin as payment option than apple with their app store. apple is a bit more harsh on bitcoin than google is when it comes to apps.
769  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will this rise hold? on: July 13, 2016, 11:19:08 AM
Look at all these spammers above me. The price has already started to fall. They don't even look at the price.

Evidently, no. The price won't hold.
But if you look right now it have already find a new floor so that it can rise again above and beyond 800$ easily as floor is now 650$ which was 450$ before.

At a moment price is not rising and its been stable and even if its moving its going down, and that is a big thing to worry, don't know what will be scenario at halving.

After the halving, the price will go higher. In the last halving, the price went up 20 times, this time maybe just 5 times.

I think the price will go up 10 times. Even 5 times, it is a big rise. I hope the rise can be in 12 months.

If the price rise 10 times in 3 months like it did in November 2013, that is a big bubble. It is not good.

That's correct and the thing is bubble's collapse, the same thing we say in 2013.
Sometime a bubble can even break or kill an asset. That's why we should seek a steady grow.

I just wish the bitcoin price to rise 3 to 5% each months. There is no need for it to rise too quickly.

everyone would want the price to rise with such percentages each month. it basically means that in the best case scenario, that you'll make at least 40-50% every year.
770  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening? on: July 13, 2016, 09:55:13 AM
Everyone was expecting a very high price increase during the block halving period. But nothing happened, the price left hanging at the same price range. What happened, are you expectin that it will maybe rise soon?

You are wrong, the majority of people was expecting a decrease of the bitcoin value the same day of the blockw reward halving. Now I think we will stay in this range for a couple of weeks maybe months.

exactly this! i was also expecting a significant dump to happen directly after the block halving. i am quite surprised there was no massive dump. so in that aspect i am very happy that the price is staying at current price levels.
771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Everyone is buying on: July 13, 2016, 09:43:38 AM
I do not understand why everyone is buying right now because the price is pretty high if you ask me. I will not buy now when the price is a bit lower then I think that I am going to buy some coins.

They are probably anticipating the price increase after halving.  Many investor speculated that Bitcoin price will probably double in price after halving thought the stats at this moment don't support that speculation.  News had been released so the poor soul guided by their greed jump in without doing any research Cheesy.  All they have is hope that speculation is right.

#

There is no price increase now. The price did double in the last 12 months. So the halving is already in the price.

Yes and i don't see many people buying. The price and voluma is a little below average, so i am not sure what OP means with everyone is buying.
It could be a troll topic.

it's normal that the volumes are much lower than last months. the hype and speculation around the block halving is done and over. right now people need to find themselves another happening to focus on. that's why i expect the lower volumes to at least stay till the end of this month. china however has still insanely high trading volumes. especially okcoin with 836k btc in the last 24 hours.
772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: July 12, 2016, 04:52:30 PM
we are almost reaching it but price went down again and start to fluctuate from time to time but like other's said its better now with the current price so we better be happy but much happier for me OP if the price reach 800$

It's showing positive movements this past few hours, spiking and falling within minutes. This could be a sign of an impending bull run again, let's hope it's gonna set new highs.

I see the current price rise slowly to $671 I hope this weekend could reach $700, so it is very easy at the end of the year to reach $800.

we are coming closer to $700 as bitfinex just touched $679.9 some minutes ago. if you give it till the end of the year, then i am quite sure that we'll touch the $800 price level this year.
773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up or down on: July 11, 2016, 02:56:40 PM
Halving happened , now we should wait for sometime to see the results .
I'm starting to think that it's going down for some reasons and I'm not sure why, but who knows really ... we just have to wait and see  . Price will take some time (Let's say couple of week , a month max)to take place because supply is still there (some miners still didn't sell what they had) etc...

I agree with that. It is taking so long for the price increase, maybe there are some reasons to this that we didnt know. The lease we could do is wait. The good thing is it is not falling so much and just playing at 630 to 650. Those are good signs for me.

the price has already gone up quite a bit recently. from around $400 we nearly reached the $800 price level. it's normal that the market right now is cooling down after all the hype and speculation around the halving. i don't mind seeing the price remain relatively stable around the current price level. everything is better than seeing the price go down.
774  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 11, 2016, 02:35:34 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

I will purchase gold and bitcoins.fifty percent goes to buying bitcoin s and the other 50% goes to buying gold. Actually my family was on gold business we have a small scale mining and we also buy and sell gold. Golds price trend is very active compared to bitcoin every minute is of importance to the business. Bitcoins on the other hand is more stable and is steadily increasing in value compared to gold. Both are good for business that's why I chose two of them.
Its good to choose both of them.. Gold is very expensive in this days and BTC are growing day by day... In case the any of those price get low we can balance through others.. So choosing both of them is a good idea for a better business

gold is somewhat of a safe haven for people. if you ask people what will happen once fiat currencies don't have any value anymore, then they will say that gold will be the main currency of the world. that's also the reason for people to store away some gold for the far future. nearly everyone around me does this. just to be one the safe side.
775  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: July 11, 2016, 01:26:04 PM
If you are planning to put it on a investment site then i would say no, don't invest your bitcoin on almost same scheme sites because most of them have ponzi scheme which the earlier investor will get profits.
IMO it's better if you just study about trading and for sure if you understand the market in trading it will be easy for you to earn big amount of bitcoin without taking high risk.

how about create your own "real mining" not only cloudmining.
im sure you will get more benefit from it.

now i spend arround $1500 and earning 0.5-0.8 ethereum perday. it's small earning but "real mining" make you feel more secure.

this is one of the best options but it is not working out for everyone. you need to invest a big amount at first then you have to pay a lot for electricity and if the cost of electricity is high in your place you will be left with no profit at all.
also you should take into account that you need to run a computer all day and tolerate the sound and do proper cooling.

It is much easy to buy and hold the bitcoin or the Ethereum if it becomes popular again. Mining is too risky.

mining is only profitable for larger operations/farms. the average miner will waste many days or weeks mining for just a few cents. buying in this case is always the best option. it saves you a lot time and effort, and headache.
776  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: July 11, 2016, 01:07:09 PM
The price of bitcoin is now stable and I think we have to love its stability as with that more people will invest their money in it and no one will fear for the volatility of its value.

if the price stays in this range for a few weeks, then we can say the price has been relatively stable. but at this point it's too early.

We need more then 1 week to even consider the price to be stable. So it's way to early to assume this. I expect some more volatility the coming weeks.
After that a period of stability would be nice to see. But it's bitcoin you never now it for sure.

with stocks and gold, then yes, of course it's too early, but a few weeks a relatively stable price is a big achievement for bitcoin. just look at how many people will get bored and start moaning about the price not moving much.

778  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: July 11, 2016, 12:00:47 PM
Nope, not even with the huge halving dump it won't go so low ^^

I do not think the price will go to anything below $400. It might only happen when there is a major disaster.

i never take a certain price level for granted. bitcoin has surprised the people here plenty enough times, so that you know that literally anything is possible. who thought that after nearly reaching $1200 in 2013 that the price would fall back to sub $200 prices? everyone was saying that it was impossible to see such prices ever again. and it still happened.
779  Economy / Speculation / Re: July 20, 2016, the block halving date, what will the price be? on: July 11, 2016, 10:01:36 AM
Well, the halving has gone by without any major movements, which is definitely surprising to me, since I was really anticipating for a huge price change on the markets.

Seems like I have made a mistake though, but it is good to see BTC at a stable level.

everything from peak to dump happened last month. i was expecting the price to plummet directly after the halving, but it didn't. but then again, as you also mentioned, it's not a bad thing to have somewhat of a stable price. we'll probably stay at $630-$660 for some weeks before seeing the price start moving into a certain direction again. patience is what we need.
780  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: July 11, 2016, 09:46:17 AM
My plan is to earn as much as possible until a big price increase. When this will happen, I will invest it in profitable bussinesses. I can also wait a (really) long time to see a huge price increase.

Haha but can you earn as much as possible. What will be the source of income. It is hard to look for ways on earning bitcoins easily. There are only few sites and companies that give huge pay to bitcoin users so you better be wise to know what is real and what is now. Make sure to invest your hard earned bitcoins in business that can really be trusted. So you will not have any regrets someday.

in reality people mostly blindly follows the path that pays them the most. in 95% of the times they end up putting money in obvious scams just because they offer a "potentially" high return. legit services and sites will never promise you guaranteed high returns as it's simply impossible to achieve without costing them a lot money. common sense is important here.
