7641  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is not banned! on: October 29, 2018, 06:37:05 AM
As far as I have been able to discover, Bitcoin is not actually banned in any country. What has been happening is that governments have been issuing dire warnings about the risks attached to bitcoin, crypto and especially ICO's. Some have introduced legislation banning exchanges, trading in or doing transactions with bitcoin etc. This is all fine as it is largely irrelevant to most people who have no interest in crypto-as for the rest of us who are interested in crypto etc it is little more than an inconvenience.

Hmm. Maybe this one is a good start: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory. As you have mentioned, there's a lot of things going on from behind. Governments are doing everything in their power to stop this revolution but I don't think they will succeed.

Governments do have another big concern with bitcoin etc-that concern is the use for illegal transactions and terrorist funding. But once again there is very little they can do-and I accept that bitcoin transactions are not totally anonymous.

Well that's one argument they have against bitcoin. But they should realized by bitcoin is not really anonymous and besides, fiat is still the king as far as illegal activity is concern. Billions worth of USD has been moving in and out on a global scale which includes drug trades and funding for terrorist so I guess they got their hands full already trying to curb out those illegal transactions.
7642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at Yuletide on: October 29, 2018, 06:26:15 AM
we are expected to use some of our bitcoin investments to take care of some personal and family needs.

am i the only one who finds it really strange to see you talk about liquidating assets to "take care of needs"? it is like saying you will sell your stocks because it is the end of the year and you need to buy presents for the family members!
that doesn't make any sense to me. you either use the money you already have, the savings or the end of the year bonus or you take out the profit not the investment.

Hahhaha. Exactly, it looks like the OP has put his money on bitcoin market so that he can have a good Christmas season. However, things went for good to worst so the OP is really affected by the current shift of sentiments.

As others have mentioned, past performance doesn't mean future success and this is one classic example. Be flexible and don't rely on your investments so that you will have a better 2018 holidays. On the bright side, you still have 1 month to save and your Christmas bonus to burn.  Grin
7643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: does bitcoin look scary / deadly for the future ...? on: October 29, 2018, 06:14:25 AM
Do you all have time to think about the future of our children and grandchildren in the future about the economy ...? if we see bitcoin in the present, it's already very busy talking about it some argue negatively and some argue positively Will in the future be the subject of conversation at the dining table for our grandchildren later ...?
 Huh Huh Huh

I mean economy is moving in the last century as humans also evolves so there's nothing to be scared of. Stocks was a thing back then, I remember my father discussing it in the table specially with newspapers in front of him. I was little back then but it has struck my mind.

So I'm sure that in the future, bitcoin or crypto will the topic in the dining table but again, there's nothing wrong with that as long as our children have a good foundation or at least learn how "supply and demand" works, and learn to save, then they're going to be good, just saying.
7644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 29, 2018, 06:03:18 AM
Only after 6 games played this season we already have our first coach firing. Seems like Cavs have just fired Ty Lue, can't say I'm surprised though. There were rumors the last couple of days if they lose to Pacers he might be gone.

Anyway, they should also trade Love and some other bad contracts and get as much draft picks as they can get and proceed with tanking.  Grin

Yes, I was not surprised at all and it seems Ty Lue know its forthcoming specially when Kyrie and Lebron left the team. Oh well, they have their best times so just like the saying goes, everything good must come to an end.

I'm sure that they're going to rebuild the team in the next couple of years or traded the current rosters. Kevin Love is the only player they have to bait other teams. So let's see how it goes. It will be difficult to duplicate what they have accomplished with Lebron and Kyrie on the team so its another waiting game for all the Cavs fans out there.

Yes I should have put the reference that I have made. I am honest about my mistake, If my account will be unbanned I will make it to a point that I will put references to the articles that I am referring to and backtrack all the post that I have made with the subject from other articles to reference them instead of just deleting all the post that I have made.

I'm sorry to say that no amount of appeal will get your account back to you. I suggest that you since learn from your mistakes then just create a fresh account and just be mindful of not plagiarising again.

I can't recall any accounts being re-instated except for one (maybe I'm wrong). The member was running a lending services here that's why his account was restore. But cases like yours is not worth so forget about it, just saying.
7646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: October 28, 2018, 12:13:51 PM
@Janation, of course Manny has chances to beat Floyd any day, but 50 have tried already and already failed. I don't see anything special about the Manny of today that we can say that he can still has the tools to break Floyd's defense.

Fighters like Manny usually lost their speed as they age, its a sign that a fighter is really past his prime. Good example is Roy Jones Jr. When he was at his prime, damn, his reflexes and hand speed are terrific. But he went as high as HW division and won against Ruiz. But after that, he deteriorated and suffered KO's after KO's because his speed is no longer there. As Rrtt has said, Manny's best defense is his offense, so if his speed and offense suffered, then its going to be difficult for him to win against a defense like Floyd.

But its going to be interesting to see him against Broner though. Careful match making will make Manny looks like he still got it, but as a boxing fan, I see that he is already no longer the Manny that we witnessed and he is way past his prime.
7647  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: wallets and staking pool on: October 28, 2018, 12:02:14 PM
I have 3-4 coins wallet , but some wallets are good but some have problems frequently its affecting my staking rewards

How can we help you if you're not providing enough details here? What wallets are you talking about? And I don't understand how it can affect your rewards because a wallet simple functions to store your coins?

If you're trying to say that your coins has been affected in anyway like receiving less stakes as expected then its not the wallets problem. And if you have frequent problem with a certain wallet then why not shift to a more secured one?
7648  Economy / Gambling / Re: ROYAL LOTTERY; win ethereum weekly, winners win 90% of pool, NEW LOTTERY AVAIABLE on: October 28, 2018, 11:32:21 AM
Well if you really wanted people to treat you genuinely then start with a website and if members here saw that you're really trusted and legit then of course word of mouth will take its course.

But asking players to just deposit on a ETH address? Its a big NO so you're off in a bad start here in the community. Work on your website first, make it secure, fair and transparent and detailed everything then I'm sure that you will be on your way. But be ready to answer a lot of questions though because this is how this community works. Goodluck.
7649  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN PRICES? on: October 27, 2018, 05:48:25 PM
Have you ever thought about the price of bitcoin from the last few months that tends to last around $ 6500 or a maximum of $ 7,000. It's hard to drop below $ 6000. I want to ask you according to personal experience and analysis. Will bitcoin be able to rise above $ 10,000 by the end of 2018?
Please share your opinions and predictions. Thank you very much.

We may say that its stabilizes around the $6000-$6500 in the last few months. I'm not saying its not going to drop below $6000, but it looks like traders, speculators, or whales won't allow it to go below that price again.

Will it go and hit 5 digits at the end of the year? Hard to say, we're still at the bear season eventhough the price seems to be less volatile right now. We have that BAKKT news coming in December so it may or may not push the price to $10k so let's see how it pans out. Everyone is hoping that the BAKKT offerings will really pour a lot of cash in the market but we can't be sure because we haven't crossed the bridge yet.
7650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: October 27, 2018, 05:36:32 PM
Although Mayweather won win absolute judgement but Pacquiao still curious about the match because he experience shoulder injury on last 2015

I don't think it will make any difference at all. Manny has shoulder injury, but it doesn't chance the fact that Mayweather is a defensive genius and even if Manny's shoulder is healthy, his already past his prime at 2015 so the outcome will just be the same.

With unbreakable 50 won record, mayweather still dare to take the challenge but I can see that he will keep his record for 51st , ofcourse with some effort because PacMan won't let it happen so easy !

His taking the challenge because he knows that its easy money for him. Unless Manny can hit him with this powerful left, but I think Floyd can easily saw it from afar because Pacquiao is a bit slower now. Yes, 51-0 when he retires.
7651  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I have been robbed at betking.io on: October 27, 2018, 05:24:23 PM
I agree with what other is saying here. It's not Betking.io fault at all, maybe there's some kind of leaked emails out there and unfortunately the hacker was able to brute force your password. Betking.io has suggested steps you needed to secure your account so I suggest you do it today. I know how you feel but you can't do anything about it by learn from your mistakes.

NO pelicans stayed hot, they are trailing but were able to beat the Nets in the dying seconds.
I am impressed with the composure they have, I hope they will become as one of the best contended in the West.

On the other hand, it's the Depending Champ who are killing the Knicks in the 4th quarter alone, what a Choke job done by the Knicks.

It is just that GSW's chemistry is so freaking good.
They know who is hot and where to pass the ball. They know how their team mates move. It is like a brotherhood already with the same mind set.

It can be beaten but what team really plays like that?
They lose against Denver but just for a little deficit. Houston seems to be whack when CP3 is not around and their style is full of isolation plays. I would very much like to see games that includes every player on the court.

GSW's is playing for so long and win championships already so there's no doubt that the chemistry is there and they know each other even if those playing have their eyes close. We have seen it in last year's finals game with the Cavs. Just look at how they rotated and ever opposing man are covered.

Of course they can be beaten, but its extremely hard. As far as Houston though, CP3 is like a glue so if he is not around then expect players turn into a isolation with less passes.

12. In 2013, a physical bitcoin was minted by a man named Mike Caldwell and called it Casascius bitcoins (most known images used by many)  but shut down by US government due to anti-money-laundering and financial crime regulations.

And maybe you can ask the man himself, because he is a distinguished member of this community, here is the link to his profile: Mike CaldwellGrin

And as far as this address, 1FeexV6bAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF, I'm sure that the dust amount being send is somewhat like a donation or something, similar to the genesis block 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa, wherein people are still sending up to this day to pay homage to Satoshi. I'm not implying though that the 1FeexV6bAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF belongs to Satoshi, but your guess is as good as mine.  Grin
7654  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current BTC price below 8K on: October 23, 2018, 04:28:16 AM
Yes .The price of bitcoin is reduced a lot in a couple of days. Now the price of bitcoin is reduced below 7000$.If you brought at 8000$,just hold your bitcoin till it reaches greater than that value.Bitcoin holder should be a brave person to face the all the dump in bitcoin price.

The price seems to be stabalizes along the $6k mark in the last couple of months isn't it? So I don't think that we have seen in reduced or something to that effect. As for the holders, well they're going to a lot of emotional turmoil but as we have said, the strong hands really won at the end so there's no need for holders to panic and simply dump their stash and take a lost.

Holders most likely are not affected by the news though, they're very intelligent and they know that the market will bounce back in the next couple of years. So holders are not just brave but very smart as well.
7655  Other / Meta / Re: Bias on giving merit, forum negativity and positivity to the newbies. on: October 23, 2018, 04:11:43 AM
I would be far more friendly to you if you found an actual example of an undeserving user but LoyceV... come on, tl
User Loycev has commendable post and there is no arguing with that. The only thing i empasized the post is that if you are a high ranks bias meriting would be possible and if you were lower rank you will be less likely to receive one.

You can check this thread, Bitcoin Technical Support. There's a lot of newbies getting merited by higher rank member, why? its because they don't care about merits and they really deserves to be merited anyways. So there's no bias whatsoever. If higher ranks really see newbies showing quality post worth of at least 1 merit then they will give it hands down.
7656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 23, 2018, 03:57:41 AM
LOL! See I told you guys, today Lebron will fall to the hands of the Rockets! hahahahaha Good to see Lebron in losing streak. They will not even go to the playoffs!
It’s way too early to be making such a bold prediction and in truth it wouldn’t be surprising if the Lakers don’t make it to the playoffs but with Lebron on that team, anything is possible.
Its fine if they are predicting that Lebron will fall.

You just can't please everyone and we do have our favorite team to bet, favorite player to support and to bash. I also see that having Lebron Lakers is a power up for them, its just too early to speculate but its your opinion guys and nothing is wrong with that, we're all entitle for it.

I thought that the Lakers will win at hope as I predicted but I was wrong. Anyways, its another close game and its seems to be they lost at the closing minutes so yes, there's a lot of pieces needed to be solved down the stretch so they can close out games. This is just a bump because the Lakers is a new team under LeBron, might takes more games to really adjust but he is already perform of what is expected from him so no complains. The other players needed to step up though.
Terrible start it is for them, this is only what others are seeing. 0-2 to be precise.

They still have more games to win for this season until April 2019. I guess its fine up to 5 games to calibrate until the whole team is set and is enough with their losses. Nevertheless, overrated or not still I think that they are one of the strongest in this season. I'm not overhyping them because they have two loss but what will be the comments if they are able to win those 2 first games?

Good question. It will be a different tune for everyone if Lakers has a successful debut with James and then won their home games against the Houston Rockets. Those bashers will be at the sideline and won't comment unless they lost or have a bad game,  Grin

What do you expect?, the team was a complete overhaul so they have to make some adjustments and its fine to see them lost some games at the beginning.  James is a competitor and won't just let this sit on his shoulders. Sooner or later he will pushed and get this 1 important win. And as you look at their division, the number spot 1 are shared by 3 teams with 1-2 win/lost record. So the season is still young to say the Lakers case is hopeless.
7657  Economy / Economics / Re: ETFs on: October 22, 2018, 11:04:32 PM
Approval of ETFs will take some more time but not too long.

But I guess its inevitable.

I think it won't be accepted in the next one month for example because we still have a lot of ways to go however I do not believe it will be later than 2020 neither. Hence, anything between 2019 and 2020 would be a wise assumption, it will during the year 2019 but when it will be I have no idea, depends on what the SEC looking for in an ETF before they accept it.

Yes, I won't see SEC accepting it this year, perhaps in the next 1-2 years when they have grasp how this market works and how "manipulation" can be reduced then that's they time we might see them giving it a go signal.

If it is the demand than we can be assured that there is a huge demand for a bitcoin ETF and we will eventually get it however if it is "would having a bitcoin ETF affect anything" then we might have a trouble because even though all the speculators here talk about how having an ETF would change everything it probably change anything for neither us the bitcoin people nor for the ETF investors because there won't be a much change, ETF won't affect bitcoin directly so it won't change it at all.

Demand will definitely go higher as SEC's approval can be look at adding some form of legitimacy so investors are willing to pour their cash. I think Wall Street's are just waiting for this big news and once its approved, it just a matter of time for huge investors to come in and make the most out of this market.
7658  Economy / Speculation / Re: What rate is crypto market cap adding alts? on: October 22, 2018, 09:04:49 AM
I would like to know the rate of cmc is adding alts and the cap of those alts.

its up to 2112 now, and was 2000 not so long ago, I feel this is distorting market cap,  as a very long tail is developing.

Yeah, would be interesting to see  those stats as well but perhaps this is the closest that we can see from them, https://coinmarketcap.com/new/. So someone can take that data and make a graph for us, that will be good.  Grin

What's really funny is you can see a lot of shitcoins being pump 100%, LMAO, so they really distorts the total marketcap, however, we all know that marketcap is not a good gauge to look at a pointed out by @cellard.
7659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the bull market recur periodically, how long dose a cycle take? on: October 22, 2018, 08:49:37 AM
If the bull market recur periodically, like what happened in late 2017, how long dose a cycle would take? It seems at least longer than a year now..

If we're going to look at the historical logs, bull run seems to occur every 2 years. But its not a good estimates as we all know that past performances doesn't mean future success in this market.

But if you look at the next possible bull run which is 2020,  we will be having the next "bitcoin halving" that may trigger the a bull run. I'm sure that the demand will increase as bitcoin will be scarce and limited so everyone  will want to get their hands on that "precious" bitcoins.
7660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 229: Khabib vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: October 22, 2018, 07:42:57 AM
Why would any boxer fight any UFC fighter ?

There is no reason for these to happen, why did Conor vs Mayweather happened I have no idea, it was already known getting into the ring and what was expected really happened.

Its because of the money involved. Both sports is now a  business and Dana see the big opportunity to make more money specially for McGregor.

Khabib should stick to UFC, dude has a chance to be the Mayweather of UFC and become undefeated champion and never give up his title. It is harder to fight in UFC and stay on top because the newer people coming up usually fight much more frequently and train constantly which makes them at peak condition whereas a champion who holds his title couple fights usually starts to make money thanks to movies and commercials and stuff like that which makes them spend time out of the ring and drops their condition to a regular fighter levels which results with them losing their title.

I agree he should rely stick to MMA, however, he may be looking for his future by trying to lure Mayweather for a big money fight that's why he is challenging Floyd but we all know that he won't win if they fought in a boxing ring.
