8561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 14, 2017, 02:00:02 PM
The market will put the coins in their right place. We just have to wait and see which one will come out on top. In my opinion, i think both will coexist for a long time and serve different purposes - the price might reflect that in the long run.

We don't need to wait for long time because the people already see the results and we all know who is the real bitcoin here. Bitcoin cash is nothing but just for pump and dump and will only benefit a few, while bitcoin has been used by a lot of people globally.

They will co exist definitely but we all know for sure which coin has a better support from the community. The other one is just a altcoin and will compete on the altcoin market. While the true bitcoin will be adopted in the next couple of years. So its up to us which coin we are going to support.
8562  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: November 14, 2017, 12:46:46 PM
The thread is mostly 1 year old. Does that actually happen? And what it actually mean? Is there any legal businesses in Phillipine that accept Bitcoin?

The recognition of the Central Bank of the Philippines was actually for the likes of Coins.ph and a few Bitcoin exchanges in the Philippines. There's also a Bitcoin ATM in Makati City but no small businesses yet such as coffee houses, computer shops, etc that I know that accepts Bitcoin.

But I think give it a few more months or years, Bitcoin will slowly be adopted by businesses. I know for the fact since I myself and a few other friends will be putting up a businesses that will accept Bitcoin soon.
Yes I also thinking for it the adoption for bitcoin in the country is not becoming fast but it can be used as soon as all people being educated about bitcoin so that they can easily use it.
This is the case in the Philippines. Although their Central Bank has issues a statement about bitcoin, the adoption rate is very slow because not everyone really find bitcoin attractive. Yes, I would agree that there are a lot of Filipino's are into bitcoin but its not very significant in numbers and most Filipino would prefer to accept cash or cards when you are in the country. For bitcoin to be really widely used it should be accepted as payment method, I hope that it can happen in the Philippines.
8563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly a third of people think bitcoin will collapse in the next six months on: November 14, 2017, 12:29:27 PM
I want to cast doubt on the conclusion of such research. If you will research on the streets on the effectiveness of various modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of cancer. You trust these studies? The question of course is rhetorical. How can you treat the opinion of those people who don't know what bitcoin is and never used it.
Exactly. Its just their own opinion because in the first place, they really don't know how bitcoin market works. They will just said that voice their opinion without really know that facts. And to think that they have that notion that bitcoin will collapse in the next 6 months is laughable. Doesn't it mean that we are going to die in the next 6 months? LOL.

This media is really blowing out of proportions what bitcoin can really do to investors like us. They don't have any slight of a clue. Well the market is volatile there is no question about it, however its moving toward a positive result for all of us.

8564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 13, 2017, 08:07:34 PM
Just saying... BTC is the real thing and will remain... you know it right?
So act wisely and don't fall for this trap: btw don't miss the chance to sell you BCH to get more Bitcoins - I'm sure we will have a bigger pump by Christmas Wink
Yeah, all the smart bitcoiners know it is an ordinary pump by big whales. Smiley
I don't think there is anyone smart bitcoiner that'll risk putting money on BCH unless looking for short time profits, i guess.
Well I believed that there are some bitcoiners who shift to Bitcoin Cash for quick profit. But they are getting back at bitcoin so anytime soon bitcoin will again reach almost $7000. Its a smart move though for some bitcoiners, they just ride all this hype on Bitcoin cash and bailing out in time.

haha, looking chart now, Bitcoin has recovered soon. I think that many investors have begun selling BCH to get profit now. Newcomers should not buy BCH now. It will drop soon
Just like I said, most traders are bailing out and moving back to bitcoin that's why it has recovered so quick from all of this chaos and drama. Bitcoin cash is nothing but a propaganda coin to fit the people behind it their agenda. Its going down and in the next 48 hours bitcoin will touch $7000 once more.

8568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crash time 6,800$ on: November 10, 2017, 04:41:59 PM
bitcoin drooped from 7,000$ range today and keep down do you think price will crash back to 5,000$ or this small correction

You are too quick to judge and call it a crash, $6800 is still a good price imho. I think you have too much expectations on the price and that it very wrong. And sooner or later a price correction is needed because the price is really going up really fast and that is not sustainable in the long term.

And when segwit officially cancelled, its only logical that correction is then coming. But is not a crash that you are talking about. If is going to crash then we should be seeing a huge drop but we didn't and I consider 6800$ a strong price. Are you not satisfied with 6800$ though?
8569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x Cancel bitcoin go down, potential to buy altcoin? on: November 10, 2017, 01:55:55 PM
many people think the rise of Bitcoin due to hard fork in November. But on day 8 before hardfork Segwit2x, Advocates for a bitcoin hard fork cancel SegWit2x fork. So, does altcoin rise?

If you look at it, the market cap is also down, so for me it only means three things:

1, Investors have already sold and cash out bitcoin. However, they are not going to altcoins for now. So not all altcoins are being pump. They are still red as of the moment.

2. And those who have cash out, are still waiting for the price of bitcoin to drop more before getting into the picture.

3. Those who have cash out are getting in Bitcoin Cash now, resulting to a 40% increase. But the question, is it sustainable? or just for short term only?

8571  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anybody tried Coinfest.cc page? HYIP program scam? on: November 08, 2017, 12:24:26 AM
Hi all,

Anybody tried https://coinfest.cc/ ? It's a HYIP program.

Stupid as I am I invested a little bit of BTC, not much. The first small withdrawal went smoothly. probably to lure in more investment.
But now I can't withdrawal any amounts, not small, not big amounts. Just receiving emails stating that a request has been noted but it stays pending.

The site is owned by EASY FEST LTD --> https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/10336091
and https://www.linkedin.com/company/10921767/

The company is registered in UK to a Marc DUSZYNSKI. --> https://www.linkedin.com/in/marc-duszynski-17a09154/

The site has been up for 30 days, collected 494.18883192 BTC, "Payed" out 90.21813713 BTC.

Either its a huge scam or they have technical problems at the moment --> https://coinfest.cc/?a=paidout

Another site that is identical is --> https://coinplus.cc/?a=home

What's strange is that both sites have identical information such as text, investment plan and server time --> Saturday, October 28 3:47 PM

The minute you said its a HYIP, then there's no question that it is scam. And unfortunately, you already lost your money because they have started this exit strategy. And I'm assuming that by now they are already closed. If they are still up and running then I hope no one fell from their trap. So sad so see unsuspecting victims gives out their hard earn money because I haven't seen any legitimate HYIP to date. 30 days up is another sign that they are winding down their activity and soon they will stop processing withdrawals, and then the site will say that its under maintenance, however, then have already ran off and making new website to continue their act.
8572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pricing on: November 07, 2017, 04:59:50 PM
Why the price of bitcoin is changing quite fast....Why so?

This crazy will swing is really brought by the anticipation of Segwit2x. Just now I have seen bitcoin price below $7000 already. But the funny thing is the altcoins are also going red. This is a result of a lot of dumping in both bitcoins and altcoins. However, this price swings makes the trader happy because this is how this make profits to begin with. And for day traders, they are taking advantage of it. So as I have said there is a segwit2x activation in Nov. 16 so don't be surprise as all that this trend will continue up to the day of the actual segwit2x activation.
8573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how control my emotion?? on: November 07, 2017, 01:44:18 PM
First of all you have to calm down and clear your mind because if not, your mind will not know what the best thing to do and you can't find a solution in your problem. I believed that everything happens for a reason. If you lose something so be it. I believed that it will return to you in the right time. Don't lose hope. Just think that it is just a trial. Maybe on your next try you will gain big profit. Don't afraid to try again.

Right. If you don't let your mind take control, instinct most lf the time results in disastrous decision making. Being in control comes from constant learning from mistakes. So you just have to make sure that the mistakes you've committed before stays with you. He more you trade this way, the less chance you'll be under your emotion's control and your emotions will be the one under your control

I have to agree with you. Decisions should come from our mind and not our heart. Because if we let them take control our decisions, then it will be really disastrous for all of us. In the beginning, I'm too emotional specially when I'm seeing the bitcoin price is dropping and dropping fast, I immediately push the sell button. Later on, I don't know what happened except that I'm too emotional and regret my decisions of dumping my coins instead of hodling it for the future. But I'm more matured now, I'm not affected by fud around and I always used my mind in making critical decisions when to sell.
8574  Economy / Economics / Re: How to train your money for costly bitcoin? on: November 07, 2017, 12:51:17 PM
we still can bought bitcoin for small amount on the exchanges but if you have to wait untill the price dropped i don't think there will be massive dumped again which is we can utilize that situation because bitcoin looks stronger for me although there was several dumped happened but bitcoin can recover it and return to reach the higher price and in my view  we cannot tackle this problem and as the bitcoin users liked it or not we have to following the trend and indeed even i cannot buy 1 bitcoin with the current price because that was so high and 1 bitcoin currently in my country worth to bought a car

In my view, then we should all wait till the prices drop and the price is reasonable enough for most of us to get. Right now the value is so massive that only those who have loads of money can get it. So it order to utilize our money or budget in buying bitcoin, the only logically choice is to wait for it to dip and buy as many as you can. But you need to be quick very others have the same mindset as well otherwise in a span of just a few hours bitcoin price will increase immediately. The element of time is not on our side here.
8575  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: STRONGCOIN.COM - WARNING! on: November 07, 2017, 12:00:28 PM
So today I needed to use an online virtual wallet for my bitcoins.  I deposited just over £80 worth into WWW.STRONGCOIN.COM.  I know transaction fees for most online wallets are normally around £2 - £2.50 (approx 0.0005BTC) so you can imagine my shock when I was charged 0.004 BTC to transfer £80 worth of bitcoins from this site.  Yep that's about £22!!!!!

I've tried to contact via email and user DogIsland on bitcointalk.org (as he is the owner) but have heard nothing back.

AVOID WWW.STRONGCOIN.COM AT ALL COSTS!!!!
this the first time i hears about strongcoin.com.
why u using that, so many online wallet with legitimate like coinbase, xapo, blockchain, etc.

Same sentiments here. I haven't heard about strongcoin until you open this thread. Where is this based btw? Maybe you should try like £50 to see how they responded. And you didn't have the chance to change to transaction fees with this wallet though? I hope you learn your lesson mate, Just used other trusted wallet like the mentioned above. Although there is still a bright light at the end of the tunnel because you said that the owner is a bitcointalk member. Maybe he is just busy or what so let's give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
8576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum , is it the future ? on: November 07, 2017, 11:37:30 AM
Well ethereum is already in a great spot if you ask my opinion. Ethereum serves a great purpose and helps us all make all these trades much more easier. For that reason i don't see ethereum increase to level of bitcoin like 6-7k but it will keep growing in a slow and steady pace.

I also don't see Etherueum getting into that range as well. This year alone it has reach its ATH but it didn't sustained and fall to what in the range of $200-$300. So it will take a lot of time on its end to reach what the price of bitcoin as today. But I believed that Ethereum is really a solid coin among the shitcoins that has been popping around. It may go as high as $1K-$2K in the next years, and yes its gonna be slow but surely it can go there with the help of our community based investors.
8577  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on: November 07, 2017, 10:03:47 AM
is up the only way for now...?

we are witnessing a never before seen on Earth - type of event..a new all accountability system that is being started and setup.
the ultimate good capitalism dominance that bankers will never grasp the idea and perish. BTC
bitcoin has no real market to bid,
-no HFC
-no players with endless pockets to outbid everybody else

Bitcoin is the Great Equalizer in access to markets and when people will realize this then the real revolution will start!

You sound a little like an evil genius in this post!

Regardless, there is always a chance that we will go down. There is no saying that the only way is up. Most likely, after the fork, we will see our first down turn as people dump the new coin for bitcoin. I know you're lost in your idealism and hopes for bitcoin being the best currency in the world, but there is a large likelihood that we will see drops towards the end of this year. After that, maybe your predictions will come true.

I totally agree with your post mate. there is always that chance that the price will go down, its the question on when will It happened, most of us predicted that it may come after the 2x, when everything is cleared, people will dump it to buy more bitcoins so that is a correction in my opinion.

We need more idealist person like him.  Grin. This is how bitcoin was built by Satoshi so I must say the Satoshi himself is idealist and a genius. No need for a third party like banks to meddle with us. Its us and our money, total control of it.
8578  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] oronjo.com is trusted? on: November 07, 2017, 09:33:14 AM
thank you so much for responses
in this case then we can consider valid oronjo.com

i test it with 1 or 2 products and update the first post

Thanks babo, please give us back some feedback and maybe it can gain some support in our community at the end. Although I haven't seen any negative feedback from them, but it is good if we see some trusted member like you to really give a honest review on that site and maybe they can gain a few customers around here. Thanks in advance dude.
8579  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-07] New French Restaurant in New York City Accepts Bitcoin, Ditches Vis on: November 07, 2017, 08:27:46 AM
I guess the owners of the restaurant is pro bitcoin. LOL. That's a good thing and as a investor on bitcoin, he needs to promote it and he is very much anti bankers perhaps because he doesn't accept Visa or Master Card for that matter.

I guess its the owner decision not to accept them, maybe he has a very bad experience with those that he doesn't want them to be acceptance on his restaurant. And we can add his restaurant to the ever growing list of places that accepts bitcoin as mode of payment. Kudos to the restaurant owner though. Grin
8580  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone use YoBit anymore? on: November 07, 2017, 07:24:25 AM
I remember when I started on here, YoBit was a big company at the time - still as shitty as before with its support and the amount of shitcoins on it but it was still big with a MASSIVE SIGNATURE campaign presence on here (even if they were a spammy sig campaign, kinda matched the company)

Does anyone know if they're still around and trading? And if so, if they're doing good as an trading network these days.

I don't know man, but I still seeing someone carrying Yobit as signature so I'm assuming that they are still around, or maybe the campaigner didn't removed his signature because he still loves and do trading with Yobit.

I think they are still alive and doing so-so today. There was a lot of scam accusations and it is still on-going. I don't know though how they still survived from all those, maybe trading platforms really do get huge profit that's why they are still up and running up to this time. But I already stayed away from Yobit because of their shitty support and withdrawal issues.
