I have an idea, you could maybe add a link to the report to the mods option after each listed post.
It will give a person the possibility to quickly report the posts. Or maybe add a link to the original post in the bitcointalk so we can report them from there, there are too many clicks now to go trough to report each one of the posts.
I hope you don't hate that much for keeping you busy so often with all my ideas...
I'll come up with something, see Work in progress: finding spam and scams by keyword.
Feel free to post there!

How about the keyword "sir" ?

Can we get this cryptoboss2020 banned please?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=2835857;sa=showPosts

I hope ban begging is allowed on this thread. Cool
783  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "How" for basic of this forum on: August 12, 2020, 08:16:40 PM
OP, almost all of your posts and the posts of your alter ego DamilareSavi have been reported and deleted, yet you keep shitposting and opening crap threads like this one.

I'm betting you'll be banned before the end of the year.

( NOO i do not want to be a part of your WO Fan Club, i am here to earn money, not to join some boy club... )

I remember a certain LFC_B mentioning something about green dildos a few days ago, so some of us indeed are here for the boy club and not for the money, rite? Kiss
786  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I contribute to the forum on: August 07, 2020, 01:26:54 PM
In general, if you need to ask the question "How do I contribute to the forum", it's not the best of signs for your future. I'll be keeping a close watch on you.

If you do great though - as we all do hope - I'll be glad to leave you some Merits soon.

Welcome and have fun!

THE COLOUR GANG !!!

You gotta love these profiles / this guy for bringing some colour to the boards:

Chris44521 prefers to post in blue: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2818901

DamilareSavi's favourite colour is green: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2818895

Even after 3 years on these boards, I still can not understand how some of these posters can be so stupid... This forum is clearly not the place to be to restore your faith in humanity. Tongue

What they also have in common, is that they both reply in the same threads and both post shit quality (of which some already was removed after I reported them).

And - surprise, surprise - both registered on June 15th with about 40 min difference.

Anyway, having several profiles is not forbidden, but spamming is.
788  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / BTC Direct + Coinomi on: August 06, 2020, 03:22:55 PM

Grin

So you have never plagiarized before? (snip blablah whining et cetera) Its all good, since everyone is now a saint (snip... and so on... yawn)

Nope, but I've repeated myself very often - to people like you, among others. That doesn't count as plagiarism, though! Cheesy

You would indeed not be the first one to state that I'm a Saint (the second one, actually. My mother believes so, too) and when you'll meet Charon, just before crossing the Styx, you'll be very thankful for having recognized my holiness as a fact indeed.

Now, whilst writing this reply, I realized I had a life somewhere. You'll please excuse me for going to search for and continue it.
791  Other / Meta / Re: An unfair treatment of Bitcointalk moderators on: July 31, 2020, 04:03:48 PM
So you all are justifying the fact that he was banned without a sort of warning? He agreed, he might have broken a rule, but is deleting the post or reducing rank not better than outright ban.

He creates great contents, he isn't using this for as a source of income as assumed by many, he just come here to seek knowledge and educate people. please can you forgive and just lift the ban. deranking is better than outright ban. He should be monitored for a while to ensure he stick to the rules. Its his love for the forum that makes him come here all the time, and even invite friends to the forum.

He educates people and taught them one of the most important lessons they could learn on this forum: plagiarists and ban-evaders get banned permanently.

For that lesson, we are eternally grateful to him.

Let us educate you, too: no matter how much you write and beg on this thread about "your Friend, the Great Content Creator", his bans will not be lifted. That's the definition of "permanently".

Bye now.
792  Other / Meta / Re: An unfair treatment of Bitcointalk moderators on: July 30, 2020, 06:02:14 PM
If I were a mod, I'd add "no whining" to the list of forum lines, and you'd have been banned after only one post.

"My friend blah blah..."

The French say: "Il ne faut pas prendre les gens pour des cons". It's not the content of your post that offends me, it's the fact that you take all the rest of us for dumb shitheads.
793  Other / Meta / Re: "Forum User's Day" on: July 29, 2020, 01:40:35 PM
What does theymos have to do with mixer devs
You expect the guy to answer to "when pool?" or "when exchange?" for someone else's project?
Sorry but don't see the point
Maybe an AMaA (Ask Me almost Anything) would be cool but why only theymos?

Maybe I would like to hear what Vitalik has to say about a few things (many would have their own option) and even more would not give a flying f**k about his shitcoin.

That's an idea for a blog, not a forum IMO

If I understood well, OP only used theymos as an example.

I do agree that a lot of the projects we've all witnessed growing here from the very beginning, quit the boards once they were fully launched and very often never came back. Just like OP, I regret the fact that once a project really takes off, you have to go look for news and information on other sources and social media, because there's hardly anything new added on the forum.

I'm not sure that "Vitalik Day" or "Roger Ver Day" would be the best solution to give the forum some kind of exclusive stuff and interviews, but at least it's an interesting suggestion (edit) to keep the community closely involved in the evolution of these projects - and vice versa.

Also, it would remind these once very small and unknown devs of where it all began, at least once a year.
794  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to reduce MegaSpam threads . on: July 29, 2020, 08:59:55 AM
Reporting them 1 by 1 was really hard. It will be better if all Signature Campaign(Including Signature Bounty) in the forum will have a General Rule about NOT accepting post in general thread. Most of spam poster are participating in campaigns. It will be easier to cut them from the source of income.

I've suggested years ago that campaign managers should be responsible for cleaning up spam / actively searching spammers and kicking them out of the campaigns, maybe leave negative trust etc. Looked like I wasn't the only one who liked this suggestion.

Now I'm not going to bump my own old thread, but maybe it would help if the idea got more support.

Vertaling lijkt mij goed hoor.

796  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to reduce MegaSpam threads . on: July 29, 2020, 08:31:38 AM
If you feel a thread has become superfluous you can report it to the mods and if they agree they'll have it locked. Creating an algorithm with a number of reports and rank threshold for that is unnecessary, imo. It could also be exploited

What he said.

Before reporting, I check if there wasn't at least a minimum of intelligent replies. As soon as there are more than 10 pages in a thread, there is a chance that someone posted something that actually makes sense, so mega thread or not, I leave those threads alone. You can always report separate threads in a mega thread, right.

The best trick is to check the BTC and AltC general boards several times a day to find newly posted spam threads, where the number of replies are still relatively limited.

Then I simply report the OP mentioning "shill your coin thread" e.g. for "Which coin go to moon next sir" threads. Or "shout yes or no thread" e.g. for "Is crypto important?" threads.

From past experiences I can say they actually get deleted, so not even locked.

Edit - The only time I wanna see a green dildo in my bed -

Just making a mental note for your next birthday present: if not green, then what colour dildo do you prefer?

Now that's some news here:

The EU recently encouraged its officials/staff to use end-to-end encrypted messaging software for communication while on the other hand the EU and Europol tries to force services offering said encryption to implement backdoors for challenging "child abuse".

https://ec.europa.eu/home-affairs/sites/homeaffairs/files/what-we-do/policies/european-agenda-security/20200724_com-2020-607-commission-communication_en.pdf

Those fucking fucks!
At the same time blaming the US, China and Russia for spying on their citizens.
AFAIK the EU is (was?) a FREEdom project.
I'm more than angry right now, what an unusual feeling  Angry Angry Angry Angry

Don't tell me it's the first time you discovered this. A freedom project? You're kidding. Around here, we tend to speak about the "EUSSR".

I'm celebrating 3 years of membership on these boards today - happy birthday to me yeey. Cool

As promised, I started reading at the beginning (of the new WO, don't get me started from the old one please), and needed a break after 22 pages of reading already. So how much time would the complete WO take me? Damn...

(...)

There will be no challenge: I just realized 78 pages were added to this thread in only 25 days, so no, I'm not starting from scratch. Roll Eyes

Basically, reading through these WO pages feels a bit like being a participant in the game show Card Sharks: some guy posts a chart, and then the others start screaming "higher" or "lower".

Great fun tho.

^
I wish I'd been there from the very beginning of the forum. It's quite astonishing how visiting these boards as a non-member eventually evolved into daily visits, actively participating, spam-reporting etc... I'm not gonna cry but this forum has actually become part of my life. That sounds creepy dammit. Grin

Beginning was started ...

Yup.

I want to know who is Satoshi because i dont know him

Honestly, when you're in my mood of "let's report a bit of spam this afternoon", you could post literally a hundred quotes on the Wall of Shame.
