I'm with you on a slave thing. We all are slaves from birth to death.
Governments do not serve their people, it's the other way around.

But the threat of jail is a good reason to pay taxes, why don't you agree? Smiley

Dark Souls II

I can't even get past Forest of Fallen Giants, how2gitgud guys?  Huh

By beating Dark Souls I?
By training to dodge hits properly?

Although constant rolling bothers me, especially in PvP.
I hate this aspect of computer games.
Guys in armor or not, doing backflips, and flashy moves, ugh.
Fuck realism, let's make it appeal to kids even more!

Come on guys, winter is coming!

Had to download new episodes, was forced into it. I usually wait for 5 episodes to come out.
But everyone kept on bombarding me with spoilers, especially 4chan.

Invest in a business, for Pete's sake!

Instead of sitting on that money, put it to good use.

If I had extra money, I would've hire artists for my game. Or open a little shop. Or sponsor someone talented.

Not simply lie in wait and hope for the better.

Because people who sell their btc while it's hot would benefit from your tiny influx of money

You will make someone happier by a little amount Smiley

I found the greatest solution, ever!

Going to sleep.  Cool
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core (Bitcoin-Qt) 0.9.1 released - update required on: April 10, 2014, 11:14:06 AM
New like these make me wonder if people should avoid new updates if they are not critical. Like an update to 0.9.0 - I did not read changelog and thought, why bother updating...

Age of Wonders 3

Well done successor to the previous game. Although it's been like... 10 years?

As a bonus, it's a first game in years that did not have any visible bugs on it's release.

У нас в Латвии решили запретить РТР и может заодно ПБК. Пока что показывает, но уже рука на рычаге.

Демократические ценности и свобода слова, однако. Я не уверен, но мне кажется в рашке можно свободно смотреть CNN?

Talk about biting a hand that feeds you.  Roll Eyes

It was touching watching it. Yes, Serbs and Russians are brothers.

Then maybe Russians should've gone as far as starting WW3 when trying to protect their brothers? Pulling much more might in that region?
From my point of view, sadly, it looked like abandonment.
795  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine... Revolution. on: April 02, 2014, 07:36:58 PM
Oh... At least some of the Turks do some economically productive activity.

Very few. None of the migrants groups to Europe are as productive as the native population. However, Eastern Europeans are much better than others.

Problem is - governments do not care about the quality of immigrants. They care about numbers more. More people = more slaves. Because basically we are slaves to them. Even if you are a "parasite", living on a welfare, being old and helpless - you still pay politician salaries. Because you cannot simply survive on your own with that welfare, so that means that some relative helps you, and shares your burden as a slave.

Imagine one fat man as a king. He has 100 subjects, citizens of his country. They are peasants. They work in a field.
There's a rule, that every week, every citizen must give him a bucket of grain. Rest they can keep for themselves.
Now there's 200 of them working in a field. But it can only yield a fixed amount of grain, despite how hard they are working. And the king couldn't care less.
In the end king gets twice as much grain, while his subject get twice less. Excited by that thought, he's sent out a word, that more people are needed in his country.

In my mind - the world is overpopulated. Only people were to benefit from new births are the governments, which need to pay their debts, so they can keep their huge salaries.

In my european (soon to be gayropean I guess)  country
Every time when I see these words ("gayropean", "gayrope") I'm dying from laugh. I can't do anything with this reaction. The person who invented this word is a Master of Trolling.

I wonder.
If UK was so tough to gays, Turing and all, Germany sent homos to death, France..., etc etc. How did europe turn to be so gay friendly on such short notice? Where did that shit start? What rich homo could achieve such an amazing feat? Suddenly every dude is proud of taking it in the ass from another dude? Is there a secret ultra gay society with devoted "Rothschilds", parttime government workers all over the world?

Soviet Union collapsed after the crude oil prices nosedived. Don't invent any new theories
USA, Middle East, and Canada didn't collapse after crude oil prices nosedived, so it wasn't just that. It actually collapsed when its military spending ended way higher than the badly planned economy could handle. At some point, USSR just couldn't afford to pay for itself any more (I believe the final straw was a new experimental football sized submarine they built and couldn't afford to pay for)
I would very much like people started to differentiate between Russia and Soviet Union.
Why? Are the people currently in power NOT the same exact people who used to work for the KGB and such? Who in russian government is not an old soviet government member or old soviet oligarch? (I suspect of those at the top, it's a very small list).
The European fixation on gay laws after fake propaganda, perverting the facts around the said laws, which, despite what EU was touting, do not limit or criminalise gay persons. It limits exposure of gay morals to children in much the same way as alcohol and tobacco commercials are prohibited in many European countries.
But the laws don't say "don't give children gay sex," they say "don't expose children to gay things, period." It's like banning showing a bottle of wine, or a beer, to any children, on TV or otherwise. If I held hands with another guy, or kissed him in public, where children could see, I would be breaking the law. If I was drinking a beer in public, even outside a restaurant, that's still legal. That's why that law was attacked.

In my european (soon to be gayropean I guess)  country drinking a beer in public is a fined offense. And USA is not so gay friendly, there's still a lot of discrimination going on. Not to mention how they wiped out indigenous population, and slavery is still a recent thing. Yet they are allowed to pose themselves as a land of friendship, love, and all the cute little ponies you can hug.
USSR fell to a multitude of factors, you cannot simply pin it to one exact thing. First of all - when any empire stops growing it collapses. Plenty of examples. You can laugh at me all you want, but I'll also add that CIA helped a little (which is completely natural and understandable) bit. Not sure how things would've turned out if USSR would put same amounts of money into KGB to undermine USA from within, instead of simple espionage.
KGB does not rule over Russia anymore. Money does. Like in every other country out there. To win an election, you need to afford to at least run at said election. Not mentioning rigging votes to compete with other rich guys. And buying exposure time. And etc and etc.

Hmm... I don't find it funny actually.
Whatever one's position is, one should not stoop down to burning/defacing another state's symbols.
Maybe that smile is really inappropriate...
Results of the annexation of Crimea(joining Crimea to Russia) to the Ukrainian soldiers:
Ukrainian soldiers became Russian soldiers.
While I agree that he shouldn't burn his old passport....
I agree. I would be wary of accepting such traitors in my own ranks. When time comes, he will burn his new passport with the same smile.
798  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine... Revolution. on: March 28, 2014, 04:15:08 AM
Yeah, sure. Russia convinced Obama to pay Fascists 5 mill USD, while training militant thugs in war camps in Latvia, then it constantly forced the EU top brass to visit Maidan and spread out the word and the free buns.
You're mistaking  Latvia with Lithuania
Lithuania has closer ties with Ukraine, and those news mentioned Lithuanian training camps (which Lithuania denied)
Latvia is anti-Russia too, but not to that extent. Out politicians are pathetic whelps with no backbone.

I've searched for this vid on youtube, and strangely - there's none.

How can you call this..Revolution?

And French revolution was a walk in a park? And Russian revolution was even more laid back? Smiley
I bet Cuban revolution was executed in a form of a carnaval, with festivities for kids?

It's not a revolution, but because other reasons than pointed out by you.

While I was growing up, one of my dad's girlfriends was vegetarian (and had been since she was like 15). One time we went to this indian place that we went to somewhat regularly and she ordered the same thing she ordered everytime, only this time she noticed miniscule bits of chicken in it. Apparently, those chicken bits were part of the recipe and she had been eating them everytime we went there. I'll always remember the look on her face when the waiter told her  Shocked

Priceless Smiley
I wish I could witness that moment.
