what will the money be used for?

100% of the money will go into the daily operating fund.

Smiley

Pablo.

thanks for the answer, but what does it actually mean? you just need the funds for cashflow?
802  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Has CoinLab delivered their ASIC power? CEO promised in person it was online! on: August 28, 2013, 05:37:51 PM
hosted mining under securities is offering up their contract and have a contract in hand from them
i'm pretty sure that alaydian/coinlab will self mine till they sell their contracts to others.

65 vs 28 is not much difference for a year or so. energy cost saving will be more important in the future as opposed to the near future
805  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: @Friedcat: A forgotten promise? on: August 28, 2013, 04:58:24 PM
friedcat is honest so far. unlike sleaze balls yifu and bfl. you don't like his products or don't take his word seriously go send a message to yifu and let us know what he replies in a few months.
look, if you will receive or received what you were promised don't complain about the unfairness of the bitcoin environment. will all asic minining companies be responsible you get ROI? jeez - it's as if people don't understand the landscape. at least you got what you ordered on time (see BFL or Avalon if you want to know alternatives)

however, you all are perfectly fine for asking for whatever was promised to you -
806  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: @Friedcat: A forgotten promise? on: August 28, 2013, 04:57:01 PM
+1 to dogie.
This is a sad day for the people who supported ASICMINER initially. I was part of the B3 auction who paid 50BTC / blade.
They never ROI'ed.

Even with the new price of 3.5Btc per blade for returning customers, these blades don't seem to ROI.

@Friedcat : When you replied to my PM earlier this week, i was expecting something better. You have let us down this time.
So much for taking our chances and vetting on ASICMINER

[/quote]

noone promised ROI within 3 months. that's just your personal assumption. in fact with so many participants how can anyone GUARANTEE roi without opening themselves up to horrible ramifications? you got what you ordered, on time. and you are complaining why? compared to other ASIC purchasers you should be grateful.  what AM has to do is deliver when promised what they promise and that's what they did

809  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: August 28, 2013, 08:15:12 AM
My guess is that it will be very low, probably lower than last week.

Edited.

there are sales included this week. so should be higher

There were sales last week and the week before, but friedcat kept the proceeds for AM expansion.

if you followed the news - friedcat doesn't count any payments towards dividends until he has shipped his products.

Holy shit the market is crashing HARD.

Down to 0.002. I guess that's it

it's over if this was a scam. otherwise it's just a a completely odd day for traders
813  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 28, 2013, 07:22:10 AM
it would be good if they did the little things they promise.... like being registered on this board and talking about it once in a while. radio silence is fine. lying about things or being deceitful is not fine.
814  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 28, 2013, 05:12:46 AM
Prison? Jeez.. I'm as upset with the delays as anyone, but this seems a little harsh.

I do agree though that Avalon are basically scammers at this point.

intentional fraud,if proven, should be punishable by jail especially if there is no restitution to the victims. we can't have people arbitrarily held accountable.
815  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: August 28, 2013, 05:11:21 AM
BitFury has a large team of engineers all working to deploy boards.  There's is a different board design from ours.  Different production line, etc.  That group is doing pretty well bringing up their hashpower, which you can see at ghash.io.

Our boards have just begun to ship from the factory in China, and we will turn them around to August delivery customers as soon as we can.  I've just grabbed three more tech savvy people to help me with testing/rating the boards, so that we can get them in the shipping line quicker.

Dave

very well indeed - they surpass the AM hashrate
out of curiosity why are you/punin and official bitfury team using different board designs?
816  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: August 28, 2013, 02:53:04 AM
Has Dave confirmed that US August Starter kits will get 2 H boards shipped per order like the equivalent EU model to meet the minimum advertised spec?
yes, read his comments from today

7xxx prices being cut so you have to take into account prices vs performance improvements. we are waiting for specs still i believe
