Well I think when you compare cards to goals, I think the frequency for late cards (also in higher numbers) is much higher than for late goals. Getting yellow cards late in the game is almost guaranteed. When there is only one yellow card missing in a relatively lively game where there is still something on the line, it is usually going to be given to someone for wasting time, tactical foul, getting off their jersey for scoring late (correlation there), etc.

When I saw the red card in minute 14' I knew I didn't have to check whether my pick could have still held. But events like a red card early in the game almost always put any pick at risk where some thought was put into. Not even the early goal was positive for the over 1.5 goals / over 5.5 booking as obviously that would spark much higher intensity.

Good game @slaman29, next one, let's go! Wink

I thought this was really risky, I know they like cards in this part of the world but also like 0-0 draws so I'm really glad this pick brings me level with you. 2 out of 4 is much better performance than before so yes, lets go!

I think the trickiest luck question is City-Liverpool. Haaland and Salah are the goalscorers but tend to be quiet on and off. But both are also penalty takers so it's risky to leave them out!!

I'm glad you left both out Smiley News says Haaland injured but its a lie Wink
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: November 23, 2023, 11:53:58 AM
I see that the wrong odds brought up by ralle14 is fixed. buwaytress why do you make such typos, wake up lol. Oh what happens in this case if anyone picked Red Star at 1.5 odds? Would they get the correct odds?

I already have a few games I'm keeping my eyes on - the next 2 rounds are of huge importance.
When we reach the knockouts, there won't be huge fluctuations and it will be easier to defend your position.

I'm well placed in both pools, so I've got nothing to win and all to lose. I prefer it the other way around Grin

I guess I'm in half of your position but I agree this is a huge round for me. I made wrong gambles last round but maybe time to play safe actually, still figuring out what to do.
803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex shutting down: What can exchange do differently to avert this trend. on: November 23, 2023, 10:30:06 AM
CEXs can only avoid this by being more in line with regulations. That's all. It's not just about KYC too it's about security and insurance and transparency.

But are we prepared for extreme KYC? Do we really want it?

The real answer is DEX, and a real return to p2p trading. The way it's meant to be.
804  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2023 end game sentiment check on: November 23, 2023, 08:11:18 AM
and binance went down 9% or 10% in the lapse of just a few hours,
At the end of the day Binance is an altcoin exchange and anything going wrong with it would first and foremost affect altcoins not bitcoin. This is why despite this news and the follow up FUD and the market manipulation, bitcoin price didn't really change. It is still staying above the $35k level as it was ever since early November when we first broke this resistance.

No way to say this with more truth. Binance was very different from a regular CEX because it not only heavily promoted alts but it created some of the biggest alts in the world BNB and BUSD.

Past few years, I have said many times about Binance and BNB, and so many people defended them.

Now these guys admit. Not just to fraud you know, but to accepting illegal clients and illegal money. Still think they were important to Bitcoin?
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 22, 2023, 01:55:48 PM
I didn't start betting on Monaco yet this season after my personal huge disappointment last year with them.

But 6.6x now playing vs PSG, who only depend on Mbappe, is this the right time to go in on them?

It would be magic for them to beat PSG, though sadly Nice will be the one to benefit most, but I don't care. Anybody except PSG Smiley
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 22, 2023, 11:27:34 AM
If you ask me I believe half of the clubs in every big league is guilty and could be charged with something with exception of Bundesliga maybe. Seems like Germans learned their lesson and now have the league and clubs on healthy foundations.

For sure. Big, small, all guilty, the bigger and closer to top, the more guilty.

But don't be too sure about Bundesliga. I agree they have best system, but they have their own problems. They also have no salary cap now, and it is the club management that can be controlled, great but it's npt a guarantee of good management.

Barca for example is very good democratic club ownership but... it still allowed huge financial scandals.
807  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CZ officially bids goodbye to Binance. Will Binance Crash or still stand Strong? on: November 22, 2023, 10:19:08 AM
Who cares about Binance or any exchange? They can all go to hell and Bitcoin stands strong. P2P stands strong. Sick of fanboys of business people, but new guy will show up, trust me.

At this point, we should give Blackrock a standing ovation for a script well played. It may sound like a conspiracy theory but everything is beginning to unfold. First the ETF is delay, then CZ is being "forced" to resign and agree that he laundered money. In the next few weeks, the ETF will be approved and we are sure nothing is going to stop it. Truth be told right now, I am more worried for bitcoin than for Binance or CZ.

Why? Bitcoin doesn't gain or benefit from any of this. Market stuff all temporary while Bitcoin does its own thing. Bitcoiners don't give a damn.

Can't wait to see the answers of my opponent. I noticed 10 people in division 1 sent early picks, guess almost everyone had the same idea Wink
-snip

thanks man for this post, didn't know that one can check submissions for new round, even the answers can't be seen
first time that I actually look before the deadline, because I also have submitted early

it is a luck based round IMO, nothing much to set edge on, lot of questions with 3/4 options, where at least two are spot on, and small difference
kudos to Cro2 on hard work, it is really looking good

No problem, it's something new this season, I have the spreadsheet bookmarked just to see all who participate, kinda nice to see it adding up over time, and of course hope your opponent didn't send lol

Definitely luck, I mean, Wales couldn't beat second team Turkey and then Messi beats Brazil for first ever home loss, I regret so badly not supporting my hero. Bad start for me, as usual, I really don't know what to do. Kudos cro2 for sure.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: November 22, 2023, 08:59:17 AM
I just realized that there were 2 Sportsbet F1 threads and all thiis time I was responding to notifications, but probably posting in "wrong" threads when talking about this pool Smiley Anyway!!

We are getting very close to the end of the season day by day. When it comes to the pool I can see that there is still a fierce competition for the championship as well. I wish I was also a part of it but I couldn't have a good run at the beginning and now it is too late.  Sad  If my podium came true in Las Vegas Grand Prix it would have really been helpful for me to rise quite much.

Anyways returning to the final race of the season on Abu Dhabi track we could still watch another enjoyable race. For example there is an amazing competition for 2nd place in constructor standings. Ferrari have closed up the gap with Mercedes a lot after Las Vegas and it is only 4 points now. I would expect all the drivers of these teams to do their best for finishing ahead.

It was still fun, but don't forget there is a potential to still win a big prize with the final prediction contest. The more people participate the bigger the prize, so lets all make picks!

My only chance of top 3 is to get yellow cap, because of huge gap with MoSala so maybe this is the time to risk it all Smiley
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: November 21, 2023, 12:33:02 PM
Congrats buway for winning freebet, Saint-loup biggest winner for going into top 10 with nice yellow cap Smiley

I don't know if that was a great sign for Ferrari and because Max Verstappen is new to the Las Vegas track he is having so many mistakes and even though he has said that the track was incredible he did criticize it many times like saying how bad it the Las Vegas for sure and how he was having mistakes on the Practice and the Qualifying he still manages to get the race win just because Leclerc did have some trouble in the pit,

We spoke about it before. Max is just a crybaby. He loves Monaco, he doesn't like Vegas. You can't pick which icing not to eat on your cake rught?

Anyway, Abu Dhabi is heating up. I cannot think of complaints about this track or weather. Desert is built for racing right?
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: November 21, 2023, 10:50:22 AM
Can't wait to see the answers of my opponent. I noticed 10 people in division 1 sent early picks, guess almost everyone had the same idea Wink

Lol you have no idea how many bets I really won with these freebet tickets. I literally wasted them on some parlays with ridiculously high odds. Perhaps it's the time to switch into betting on fair odds Embarrassed Regarding that cricket final, well, that's really a fcked up result. I was about to do the same but I thought 1.4x is a small odds, so I bet on other sport. Though congrats Australia, they beat the strongest cricket team!

I recently wasted all my freebet winnings on a big loss, but it was a nice journey for me. Usdt, collecting freebets winnings from many nany months, and boom loss on 1 bet. Such is the life right?

Not possible with any other book/casino for sure Wink
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I found my Bitcoin books from 2016 on: November 21, 2023, 09:29:31 AM
But then, you have to start accepting the fact that it is shitcoins, not some new revolutionary creation, and you have to admit that it is gambling.
~~
When you gamble you expect to lose so it's ok.

It's November 20th today and I am here to tell you that my altcoin portfolio, every single altcoins in my wallet are going crazy, I am insanely in huge profit right now and the best performer in my wallet is kaspa, I bought last year 2022 at $0.003 and today it's up $0.14, there are few others like and I don't need to make mention of the names, I did my own research and took the risk.

Saying that no matter how good one is as analysis altcoin investment is gambling is not entirely wrong, I accept this because one or two my die or exit scam but you will still get the best result doing this than gambling, I am also a gambler and I am putting these two side by side, so far altcoin investment have given me better ROI in this bear market than gambling.

Just because people aren't talking about their good fortune from altcoins in the alt discussion doesn't mean it's not happening, to me, investing in fantom was not gambling, investing in Matic was not gambling, investing in avalanche was never gambling, their utility just stands out.
[/quote]

Good for you, but I don't see how that changes the points I made about gambling 3 months ago Smiley

Every single alt going crazy is EXPECTED because duh Bitcoin did.

When you make statements you need evidence. Evidence becomes strong with sample size. You show me (without proof) you made crazy amounts of money, I will tell you many more people lost their money trading in the last few months.

Because like you, they practically gambled. You won they lost.

Show me how you "used" fantom, mativ, ava etc. I'll show you any day how I used Bitcoin.

815  Economy / Speculation / Re: The crypto market has changed and I think its a sign of mass adoption on: November 21, 2023, 07:58:15 AM
What's mass adoption to you? Addresses? I've used maybe 1000 addresses, most likely more. I use 1 a day, probably more. Count altcoins and I use maybe many thousands.

Exchanges? Every deposit new address.

And is 100000 people trading mass adoption when no one has private keys?
816  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: November 20, 2023, 12:29:08 PM
As a fellow blackjack players, Hitting a bonus game is kinda a wow moment since we didn’t know how much potential profit we can make. I was so optimistic to hunt high multiplier today but my funds won’t arrive so I decided to just chill this weekends. Hoping that the fee will dip at some point.  Cry

Ya you and me love Blackjack so we understand it the most. Dice + BJ for me mainly but admit, I'm mostly sports these days, it's much more relaxed and "thrilling" to wait so long for outcome.

You know I alwas complain about slots eating money but the truth is dice is far more dangerous!!

BTW Live Casino is a great keyword. I clicked this ad on another site curious to see Livecasino but it turns out they meant "Live Casino" Smiley

817  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So since SOL is $60 - Means FTX is solvent again? on: November 20, 2023, 10:14:32 AM
I think the rises are deliberate to cover losses...

And there is nothing unusual in this, since there is always a group of investors behind any pump, which is its generator of movement, and in this case SOL is no exception. Except for them, no one knows to what level they have enough finances to continue pumping and at what level they will start selling.

And I think anyone with experience knows the rise is 2 reasons. Deliberate to recover losses for sure, but also don't for get BTC is more than 2x low price. When Bitcoin does well, all crypto does well. No surprise alts recover even more strongly than Bitcoin.

Just be careful, FTX is over but the repercussions stay, Bitcoin is what everyone needs to pay attention to.

Agree with casper, no point to wait, the questions are all worth answering early. I went with gut on everything except final question, but even so my natural answer remained.

Very very tricky. I feel so relieved for my first 3 points. Yes I'm still bottom of table but at least not on zero. cryptofrka, looks like we both have to change our tactics its not suited for division 1...
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: November 20, 2023, 08:36:15 AM
I don't know why but this heat is getting to me. Ferrari finally showing some improvements, too late but good sign for next season.

Finally the table updated and somehow I managed to stay in 4th place, but equal on points with bullrunbro in 3rd place. One more big race everybody and from the neon and rainy weather of Las Vegas we go to sandy dusty Abu Dhabi for the final showdown! Good luck everyone!
820  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: November 20, 2023, 07:32:43 AM
Did you guys had any success this weekend betting on international matches?
Lukaku went crazy for Belgium scoring four goals, but I expected to see more from other teams.
I think biggest surprise for me is that Albania is still holding a first place in group E, and Kazakhstan is not doing bad at all in group H.
Euro 2024 is starting in June next year, so not much time left in qualifications.

No no luck for me unfortunately. I stayed away from EURO so stayed away from both good and bad luck lol

Australia winning cricket World Cup was also a shocker. Not even Australia can believe it Smiley

Manchester City are indeed a savage team they have a squad full of talented players with the loss of Kevin De Bruyne (due to injury) I think there is little effect because there are other players who can replace his position.
Soon De Bruyne will become a history of Manchester City. He is old already and soon he will not be able to contribute too much for them. The club also have many star players who can replace De Bruyne player by player or the whole system of Manchester City will surely be able to cover the absence of Kevin De Bruyne. Pep is always smart, clever and very flexible with tactics so he will not have big trouble without De Bruyne.

What you said is true for all players and all clubs, history. But kinda the way you said it seems a bit disrespectful of any player. I remember when players were allowed to retire gracefully, captaining teams when they were 40. Now fans say "old" at 32? What happened to this world?
