if your average cost of a BTC is less than 400 and if you are too invested and have troubles sleeping at night because of this trend, or if you are afraid and not sure about your strategy, now is your chance to reduce your position better than later at a loss (if the price fall further).
at the end of the last year and beginning of this year, I said it was a good idea to sell some coins (people who bought around $100-200) and take the profits while you can, and now I am telling you that you can still take some profits.... I am afraid that there is a possibility that many of you will regret not doing so later.

But no, you wouldn't listen... yes, I feel sorry for selling at $6xx  , I beat my self everyday because of it, I could be making a ton of money if I didn't sell and listened to the bunch of perma- trollsbulls that hang around here. Oh YES!!!! you should stay, and that way mmitech has someone who is ready, willing and able to kiss his butt. That would surely be helpful to our analyses and speculations regarding BTC prices. your analyses ? BTW where I can read your analyses ? I didn't come across any analyse or sane post of your yet, all I see is butt-hurt posts and attacking most posters when you disagree, and it just struck me that the guy who cant solve a simple mathematical issues knows how to analyse things !!! |

I still remember the day Pirate's ponzi collapsed in August 2012. It crashed from $15 to $7. (I wonder how many here know who's Pirate)

Private !!?? wasn't it Pirate who promised the exchange that offers leverage and asked people to lend him money for 6% weekly interest and a possibility of 120% payout later ? now anyone believed that is a fool, and the same goes for these noobs who joined at the end of 2013 and this year thinking they will multiply their investment by 100x . To be honest, I invested my money expecting to make some money, but I never ever thought or imagined I would make 100 or even 10 times what I invested, these noobs invested thinking or expecting that they will make that much of money (100x), but worst other members seem to promise them that payout if they hold... which is everything wrong with this community.... Greed. |

How long until the VC's get pissed off and wire tens of millions to exchanges?
VC's are not invested into Bitcoin but into companies that deals with Bitcoin, coinbase/bitstamp will function regardless the price is $1000 or $100 same goes for bitpay and all other companies.... most of you here don't spend any time studying all technical and ideological aspects of Bitcoin and think that Bitcoin survival is related to its price only, which is very wrong... there is more to Bitcoin than its price. |

"I am just going outside and may be some time."  Oooh, good one. Annecdote time: I told my gf about that quote and its context a while ago, and she got really sad about it. Now, I sometimes just casually drop the line "I'm quickly going to do some groceries, it may be some time", and her eyes almost water up when I say that  (yes, I'm a psycho) : In 1911-1912 a British team led by Robert Falcon Scott attempted to be the first humans to reach the South Pole, the most southerly point on Earth situated on the Antarctic continent. They did in fact reach the Pole (on 17 January 1912), but discovered that the Norwegian explorer Amundsen had beaten them to it. The demoralized five-man British team then began the 895-mile (1,440 km) trek back to their base.
They never made it.
Hampered by worsening weather, poor provisioning, injury and frostbite, the team were destined to die en route. Edgar Evans was the first to die (17 February 1912), apparently as the result of a blow to his head when falling into a crevasse. The four remaining men struggled on, slowed by fierce blizzard conditions. And Oates' severely frostbitten and gangrenous feet and general weakness (possibly aggravated by an old war wound) began to hold them back further, so that they could not keep up the daily distances needed to reach provisions before their rations were exhausted. On 15 March Oates told the others that he could not continue, suggesting that they leave him in his sleeping-bag and go on without him. They refused. The following night, according to Scott's diary entry, in the early morning of 16 March 1912, Oates said to his colleagues: "I am just going outside and may be some time." Then, without going through the painful exertion of putting on his boots, he stepped outside into a raging blizzard and temperatures of -40.0 °C (-40 °F) to face certain death.
Oates' self-sacrifice did not save his colleagues from a similar fate. Scott, Wilson and Bowers died nine days later, eleven miles short of their next pre-laid food depot that could have saved their lives.
Oates died a bachelor the day before his 32nd birthday, probably still unaware that he had fathered a child with an 11-year-old Scottish girl when he was about 20, a fact that emerged many years later.
His memorable phrase lives on in the English-speaking world both as among the most famous of last words and as the epitome of heroic understatement and allusion. |
