I think my newbie status does not give me permission to vote. Both are unlikely. Both are not impossible.
I have to add that the second scenario was exaggerated, I didn't see give allot of attention to the time stamp at the bottom of the chart and I didn't follow the MACD or AO or MFI in both scenarios, I just went with how did it look in my imagination. so 2nd chart should be: cycle 3-4 months and the bottom would be $200-300 |

There are very strong support levels/trendlines to break, even a lot more stronger than the 440,00 support, so this is very a premature scenario. Been an interesting day. Would like to say we're done with the move, but I can't honestly claim I see that. Maybe if we draw a line at 511/2 and stay above. More likely, imo, that over the next few days we enter the 400s and stay there for a while. Wouldn't be the end of the world either if that happens.
my selfish hopes are for $200-300 coins, no problem, I can wait few months for that. |

I've never seen devs rushing to deliver a complete disaster software just to fix it multiple times a day, they think they are developing a game !!!! all tests should be on testnet and should take enough time to be sure everything works exactly as it was intended to save users and the network from some bad shit that could happen, completely irresponsible.
Bitcoin devs always take their time and test months before releasing anything... but welcome to the alt world, I am glad that I cashed out before the release...exactly as I expected.

Oh please. Do you know how many people he's hurt with his "decent data and/or historical perspective?" You do know he thought BTC would be at $10k back in late 2011/early 2012 right? IMO we are a couple of months away from the bottom, we will still trade side ways but the big picture (1w MACD confirms that) is telling me that we are just not there and it will take some time.
I hope I am right, because I took the aggressive way of trading by going all out... and I have no open bids yet, I have no idea where I will put my bids but I will decide later when the picture is clearer.

The more ppl speak like you (and the less they speak like me ) the better, because that much closer to the bottom we are. But real tough guys can make the decision without sentiment analysis as well as with it. I hardly knew about the forums back then, even my account is from 2012. It is the new money that will raise the price to new levels. They are still waiting. What can you do but wait? Next room to me now, there is a guy who takes jacuzzi every day and smokes cigars. He held through the bubble, and the fall, and the capitulation (of 2011) and ever since. His friends sold out in the downtrend and said they will come back if/when the tide turns. They never did. They are probably working now. Bitcoin does not care if you make money or not. Also I don't care. I know there are enough people in the world who understand reasonable speech, and gravitate into Bitcoin in waves. And if bitcoin is foiled, now we have Monero, so there is a real backup, vainly sought after for 2-3 years. Whoever is leverage trading without a stop loss is fucked big time, just yesterday I was reading on reddit about a guy who lost more than $150K worth of Litecoins because of that.
We will see many stories like that around in the next couple of months.
