1261  Economy / Service Discussion / BTC-e is not processing BTC withdrawals since yesterday on: July 20, 2014, 03:43:07 PM
BTC-e is not processing BTC withdrawals, yesterday they first said they are working on their "coin server" but today after they "updated their servers" and after being able to process the withdrawal I still didn't receive a shit, and I think I am not the only one here, so anyone else having problems ?
1262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 19, 2014, 03:38:03 PM
buying at this time (or the last 6-7 weeks) seems to be the best time for any doubtful investor or a new adopter, although I don't see or believe any bubble will be forming soon. I see enough stability and support to trade in the 600s for some time (couple of months maybe).

some would ask why the price is stable with all these good news ? well I think Bitcoin was overpriced for a long time and the infrastructure is just catching up, once the infrastructure will have much more to offer the price will follow and the same thing will repeat, I am just thankful that with all the bad PR (Mtgox, malleability, hacks, china....)  we had this year, Bitcoin is still doing well.

the biggest scenario that everyone  seems to ignore is that Bitcoin is going mainstream, this could mean simply no more bubbles but a strait and slow growth over the years, today the audience is bigger and financially mature, so I don't believe neither expect a 10x price jump in a couple of month. (these were the old days).

Dell accepting Bitcoin is bad sign for the short term price

Biggest bullshit I've read in weeks. Think about it again and apologize for being an idiot.

1264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 18, 2014, 07:05:45 PM
Dell accepting Bitcoin is bad sign for the short term price, simply with the adoption rate slowing down big purchases will exhaust and stress up the price, although if adoption will catch up then it is a good sign for the long term.

you want to know how they will regulate Bitcoin in NY state ? http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2aycxs/hi_this_is_ben_lawsky_at_nydfs_here_are_the/cizyqyz

Entities are considered dealing in virtual currencies if:
They transfer Bitcoins on behalf of one person. This includes Bitcoin tipping (/u/changetip), mixers, Blockchain.info Send Shared, CoinJoin, Dark Wallet (200.2n1)
They hold or have control over Bitcoins for their users. This includes Mining pools, Coinbase, Circle, Greenaddress.it, all exchanges. (200.2n2)
They buy or sell Bitcoins as a business activity. This includes Local Bitcoins sellers, #bitcoin-otc. FinCEN statements includes selling physical coinage (including casascius coins) also regulated. (200.2n3)
They create a virtual currency, even if it is decentralized. This includes creating altcoins. In fact, Satoshi would have commited a crime creating Bitcoin without registration. (200.2n5)
They trade any virtual currency, even for another virtual currency. This includes alt coin exchanges. Mintpal, Cryptsy, BTER, etc (200.2n4)
.. to any resident in New York. Web services, even those incorporated overseas, must either comply or block access for NY users. (200.2n)
Entities 'dealing in virtual currency' must:
Perform AML and collect identities, including verification of government issued Photo ID and proof of address, and retain these information for 10 years. (200.15a)
Retain all transaction logs for 10 years, including real name & physical addresses of ALL parties of a transaction - yes, including whoever you are sending to. (200.12a1)
Report all transactions over the USD value of $3000, and file Suspicious Activity Reports. (200.15g4)
Maintain collateral in the form of USD, including collateral for Bitcoin balances. The % as collateral is unspecified.
Retained earnings and profits of in invested in US dollars. They may not keep any profit in Bitcoin. (200.8b)
Forfeit Bitcoins that are inactive for over 5 years to the State of New York - (200.12c)
Not obfuscate any transactions - Bitcoin mixing would be illegal. (200.15f)

Interesting: now these people who creates altcoin would be committing a crime, even satoshi committed a crime following this logic. and NY wants to take your coins, so you wont be able to use your coins as a saving method ? yea so bad news for hodlers.

this is the whole document if you want to read it http://www.dfs.ny.gov/about/press2014/pr1407171-vc.pdf

Easy solution? Incorporate outside of the US and give them the middle finger. Americans always think their laws apply outside of the US.

the problem is that most likely the other states will follow the same path, Businesses in EU will have a big problem serving US customers, at the end they will have to ban US customers if the hassle is too much for them.

Why do they have to ban them? because the US says so ... bitch please. Non American who are not in America do not have to follow US laws. You can make laws to attack the US customers of these businesses though. Good luck Wink

you have no clue about how the US government operate outside their borders, a sad fact but if US had a different tolerant policy toward others the world would be a better place and not as we see today.

Maybe it's time that we stop being delusional.
For 6 weeks or so everyone expected a huge break out. I think by now it's clear it's simply not gonna happen. At least not now.
Nothing even slightly points that way either. Really, there is no reason i can think of why we suddenly would go to the moon.
I'm a bull and will always be but i'm starting to cringe every time i see people adjusting their charts and lines and chicken bones to show how we will go up in 2 days from now. You just keep changing the dates and lines because nothing happened at the previous date.
I never seen so many people in denial and simply delusional here before.
I think it's better if you start facing the facts.

Price went down, value goes up. It's only a matter of time before price catches up with value.

what is the value ? isn't the value of a bitcoin exactly the price of a bitcoin ?

Maybe check that phases of a bubble chart again, everyone got all despondent a week or so ago and it started going up Wink This looks uncomfortably like manipulation but it could simply be the market maturing. Whatever it is commerce will love it and the "its to unstable to be money" crowd will finally stfu. Pump and dumpers are getting burned and day traders cant be too happy but overall this stability is good for bitcoin.

so after a week you say? I still have a bunch of coins, I would love to see them worth 10x more Wink

1273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2014, 12:06:18 PM
Looks like time for $122

I guess 118/19 - 111 - 124.

I propose the 2nd retracement to 106 (instead of 111), otherwise I hardly make any money.

I think I nailed this one  Grin

Will be interesting to see if we do go over 120 here or back down under 100. Long weekend after all.

How many times do I need to tell that we will not see 100 again?  Huh

I am all in today because this is insanely great buy. There is also quite much support in $105 (not that it means anything but buys are real, sells are fake).

we went to high 60s right ?

ok enough for today, I saved and took many screenshots of his nonsense just in case he will delete his posts.
1274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2014, 12:03:07 PM

I wonder if we are we headed for a retest of the descending wedge? It is going to take a lot more than a 400 BTC dump to get to $605... The breakout we had from the wedge is not exactly looking strong either.

Hence the stability.

wachtwoord, it must be so boring in the pumpers elite forum ?
1275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2014, 11:56:46 AM
I think your problem is that you realize 100 million new facebook users in 3 months is quick adoption, but refuse to do the math concerning what the same number of users of Bitcoin in the same timeframe irrefutably means to USD/BTC rate.
Facebook users found utility, new BTC adopters aren't adopting for practical utility (because they're is essentially none relative to reality), they're adopting for the gamble of making more in a quick flip.

It is marvellous that almost nobody dares to believe simple math, in the context that it would make them insanely wealthy. It is almost as if the becoming rich part was detrimental to bitcoin adoption...Sad Good that the mobile phone did not make early adopters rich, we would still have fixed lines even today... Roll Eyes

1000 -> 1 million users => 2000x price appreciation
1 million -> 1 billion users => 2000x price appreciation

he will make you rich, I bet the people who listened to him last year are filthy rich.

This is definitely the last one today, if you don't believe NOR know math you can go home Cheesy If you do either, and buy bitcoins, you will be very rich  Grin

I used a cocktail party example today, regarding bitcoin's utility and adoption:

some bullshit...

so next time these perma-bulls talk what we tell them ? not today, not today perma-bull
1276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2014, 11:52:48 AM
but I know that $300k per 1 BTC is delusional

How many people you know, who bought a mobile phone, but went back to fixed line?

How many tried Internet but decided it's not for them?

If something happens in the world, would the news not reach the uttermost ends of the earth in latest 48 hours (if not instantly for most places)?

What keeps 1 billion people from adopting bitcoin? (How can you keep them from not adopting it?)

How many bitcoins are for sale?

To not believe in $300k this year is a denial of the facts. Only a technical flaw in the algorithm or a superstealthfast adoption of a superior altcoin currently not existing, or an all-out wiping away of all mankind can keep USD/BTC from exploding this year. Already everyone who has any position in this world knows about Bitcoin. Just post any nugget of actual facts that can contradict my $300k this year or cease replying to me with nothing material, thank you.

Cheesy Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin , 300K in 2013 what a pumper, but he refuses to bet on his prediction fact:

Risto: man up. You are either spreading BS you don't believe in a ridiculous attempt to talk the price up (you know that's not happening, right?) or you really believe that 1BTC will be above $300k by the end of the year.

If its the latter, I make you an offer you cannot refuse: 2:1 odds at your favor that we won't reach $300k per 1 BTC in this year, and we publish this bet so other members can join up to a maximum total amount you choose. Minimum bet 100BTC

I only bet so that I win regardless. If you offer such bad odds, I better just buy bitcoins. Besides betting without actual transfer of bitcoins to me, is pointless hot air, therefore I either buy calls or write puts. I thought you would be happy by either getting 1 bitcoin or 10 million USD... no lose huh Huh

What price range do you believe then??
1277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2014, 11:40:25 AM

3.0th class supernode = BTC100
Woohoo I am a supernode! (means nothing)

In February, nobody knew me. Now, everybody knows me. When I have finished the developments I am about to achieve, I will move on to other things.

well it is sure taking longer than you thought.  Cheesy
1278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2014, 11:28:34 AM
now that there is no price movement and everyone is bored, I will refresh this thread with some fun by reminding you of Risto famous delusions and by showing the sickest ego I've ever encounter in my life.
1279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2014, 11:18:48 AM
we're NOT hitting $1 Million this year.

Holders will be too horny not to Profit take and make a lot of money before the price is anywhere near $1,000,000

Only about 1.5 million bitcoins in speculative (fiat-denominated) hands now. All the rest are owned by the likes of me, I am not selling any bitcoins below the long term realistic value of $300k/BTC (except in anticipation of a correction and purchase of more bitcoins).

When I finish my current spree of public talking and start making money full-time, I think I can generate at least BTC100 every day just as profits. The other supernodes will do the same, and:

- first we will be able to absorb the new supply of BTC3600 per day, and
- then start to eat up the remaining 1.5M coins that is currently in the exchanges.
- Also I will be able to sell a minimum of BTC1000 per day to my strong hand clients every day starting about 2 weeks from now.

The endgame will be rather quick. Everybody who buys even 1,000mBTC now, will be a millionaire before Christmas. I will post more proof in the following weeks. Now I go to plan the conference, that will be the place to decide the practical matters how this will be accomplished.

this was in 2013... why I am not a millionaire yet ? so much inspiration....inspiration my ass, you delusional psycho.

And I don't see Michael or the others folks with dozens of thousands babbling about their "influence" in the BTC world like you do.

What exactly is wrong with you?? I never said I am something great. I am a messenger. That I said in the beginning and it still holds. I am one supernode, likely among the 400 bitcoin richest people in the world. I know personally several people who are above me. Some of them fellowship with me, give me guidance, then I spend my time writing about these things. You probably don't even have as much as I do, so you should listen to me. I have nothing to learn from you (at least what you have written, either you are mistaken, or I already know it - try harder).

This Michael I don't know, but probably he is chatting with the people who control me. Or maybe not. People are not that important, the technology is important, and the concepts are important. Read my diary, it is the best explanation of what is happening in the Bitcoin universe right now. If you don't believe, you just point me to the springs of knowledge. Otherwise, please stop. Others want to learn. Thank you.

wow, what an ass****.
