821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: January 23, 2020, 02:07:54 PM
Why only eth? I think all coins are stuck with the 2 years bear market. Bitcoin is steadily recovering and I think it will also be the same case for ethereum. They have a huge plan for this year that could change the pacing of their development for a really brand new environment which people expect to be a good one. Eth 2.0 is near the timeline and having POS blockchain as mechanism is not bad for investors who wanted to bag many while still cheap. Validators are already confirm and that will increase more in a latter time.
The confidence is good but i highly doubt that there will be any major change in the price, the prediction of investors flooding in ETH to hold it as a dead investment is quite laughable as no one in the right mind will be doing that, the direction in which they are going is a disaster in my opinion but the developers have the final decision and they really do not care about the investors before making these huge decisions and so is the reason i am expecting it to get humbled in the coming years in terms of valuation.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 23, 2020, 12:37:46 PM
I disagree that ICO projects are dead, because there are still some good ones and can provide profit. Indeed, the numbers are down
drastic, because the bearish maarket is quite long. If we see the market development in 2020 looks positive, hopefully it can make
investors regain confidence. And this can make ICO rise again as in 2018. I have never been discouraged with ICO development.
What are the promising projects you are seeing in the past one year and what are the successful projects you saw in the history of the token market, i would like to hear about your success run in the ICO investment market as it looks like you are an advocate because you disagree that the ICO are dead. I am not seeing a revival in the ICO market, majority of the projects are done and dusted and the developers scammed a lot of money from investors in the name of providing something that will be worthy.

I am quite skeptical about Nagarkoti. He has missed more than two years as a result of injury. At such an young age, if he is having trouble with injuries, then what will happen after a few years? The bowling coach is obviously going to ask him to change his action, which will result in a lack of pace. And if he loses his pace, then he may find it very difficult to remain competitive in the domestic circuit.
Every fast bowler who is bowling at that pace will have injures and so is the case with Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Brett Lee was having the same injuries even before getting selected in the Australian team, so you cannot completely write off Kamlesh Nagarkoti as he is undergoing good treatment to regain his fitness and he is just 20 years old and he does have a bright future for India.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moves like Gold? on: January 22, 2020, 05:00:18 PM
I agree it just a coincedence. Bitcoin is very different compare ro gold especially when it comes on its value.  We can see how volatile it is where no one predicts when it will increase and decrease.  Gold is a centralized currency always remembee that.
Every market has its volatility but that does not mean you cannot trust those, coincidentally bitcoin is the most volatile market in the entire financial sector and so is the reason some in the economic background has no idea how to figure out the market movement, gold is not a currency if you are not aware of it  Tongue , it is an asset class commodity traded globally.
825  Economy / Economics / Re: The Government-Backed Digital Dollar (USD) on: January 22, 2020, 02:42:14 PM
I was surprised to see a country as big as America that is too strict with cryptocurrency, whereas usually America is a country
leading the way when it comes to technological advances. But about cryptocurrency they behave differently, even launch
Libra is still complicated.
You have to understand the difference here, it is a new financial market and that too not restricted to a certain region or a country and it is not that easy to come up with a regulation that is global and it is not a huge surprise that the authorities are taking time to regulate. The launch of Libra will have major implications in the market because if they have the permission then expect all the multi national companies coming up with the same concept and it will affect the fiat market and hence they have to take everything under consideration to regulate something.

At the most he may have clocked 150 kmph, as we can't expect a 17-year old to bowl any faster than this. I think 150 kmph was the fastest ever bowled by U-19 bowlers, such as Kamlesh Nagarkoti.
There is no doubt that Kamlesh Nagarkoti is the future as he impressed everyone during the U19 World Cup but he is injured most of the time and he missed almost 2 years due to injury and having multiple fractures in his back and i heard he is back after a long gap and started to bowl in the nets and hopefully he can bowl with the same ferocity as before and stay fit and if that happens he will be in the Indian team pretty soon.

But still, I regard Matheesha Pathirana as a future prospect for Sri Lanka, at a time when they are struggling to find a successor to Lasith Malinga.
Good to see new talents but he needs to improve his line and length, i saw a clip where he was accurate with his yorker but in his last game he was spraying the ball.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 22, 2020, 01:24:15 PM
Matthew has completed his century and batting at 129. SL now just trail by 12 runs and 5 wickets in hand. If Srilanka can get anything above 100 also in lead it would be SL games unless Zimbabwe can score like first innings or get SL all out now quickly. All eyes now remain on Matthew if he is on pitch SL will post big score.
Angelo Mathews registered his personal best score in this match and he just need 16 more runs to reach his first double century and hopefully he will reach his milestone and they are now leading over 130 runs and that is not enough to put Zimbabwe to bat and put them into trouble in the final day, not sure what the plan is but i am expecting a draw as there is not enough time to put a good total on the board and put Zimbabwe under pressure.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BSV a bubble ? on: January 21, 2020, 02:50:13 PM
Yeah...I have BSV and BCH on legacy wallets...I should soon move that stuff off..pay the cap gains and put it into BTC Core...I have little hope for either of them.
I am also thinking the same to sell off if the price rallies again and convert them to bitcoin and wait for the huge rally, considering the way in which the speculation market moves i do not mind which one is giving me the maximum profit as all the coins in the market goes through the same bubble and hence you cannot blame any particular coin for the bubble, we see huge bubble in bitcoin when the market rises and as investors we do not mind in having the profit and so is the case with the rest of the coins, but as an investor you need to be aware of the potential of the coin before investing and not jump into any coin thinking it can give you the profit.
829  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paxful or LocalBitcoins? Which one is better and why? on: January 21, 2020, 02:13:26 PM
It's fraud. 100 percent. Unless they are only for small amounts and just need to get some quick funds.
The way those work is that they usually get access to hacked or frauded bank accounts or credit cards and then purchase large amounts of crypto-currencies before they get banned and the amount becomes illegal.
Anyway. I'd pick localbitcoins any day of the week if your able to verify your ID. I usually find doing trades their easier and the spreads mean easier profits.
You cannot call everything a scam, you have the option to purchase the coins at a very high valuation, there are countries that ban the entire flow of bitcoin and if they want to purchase bitcoin they will purchase from these exchanges and mostly they run for exchanging your gift cards and that too at a premium and if you have spare gift cards you can convert to bitcoin.
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 21, 2020, 12:53:09 PM
I am sure that Zimbabwe is looking for a draw at the moment, nothing more. They took their sweet time while batting and managed to putup 350+ runs on board. And while bowling, they avoided bowling few overs by not opting spin. Currently SL are batting well at 113/2. The only chance for SL to get a result is to post a big lead something around 250+ for ZIM and try to wrap them up within a days play which will be a tough task considering how they batted in the first innings.
Either Zimbabwe has to pick up wickets and Sri Lanka is also batting really slow as they do not feel the need to increase the run rate either and as long as Angelo Mathews is in the crease they will build a huge total and they still behind 153 runs and they can reach those runs and this is the third day and unless there is a collapse in the second innings it is going to be a draw.
831  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Gain 100% In 2020 - Halving Not Priced In, Says Fundstrat on: January 21, 2020, 12:29:00 PM
In 2019 there was a big call for tesla shorts. Accompanied by an overwhelming volume of news attacking Elon Musk and tesla. I couldn't open my social media timeline without seeing a news article attacking Musk/Tesla over something.
If there are rules banning fake news from influencing market trends. I would be curious to know what they are.
Restricting anything will not be a good idea, if you want to restrict these news then you need to censor stuffs online and if that happens then you will be restricted to even criticize legit cases as it will be removed in the form of attack, so is there a fair line in that regarding, possibly not but we need to understand the FUD news and hopefully just go to through legit media than listening to social media news which are mostly click baits.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 21, 2020, 08:39:45 AM
Is everyone back on Conor's side again? Punching the old man in the face has been forgotten hehehe?
@cabron. He is also the only fighter in MMA who can fight in the boxing ring and scam all fans to buy the tickets on record levels hehe.
The reason Conor McGregor changed his act is because he had so much issues outside that he created in the past few years when he was not fighting and he is in real trouble and who knows how much money he have spent till now to settle all the legal issues he created. Conor McGregor has the ability to piss of casual fans with these outside issues and when he fights they will purchase the tickets to watch him go down and his die hard fans will come to watch him and hence what ever he does he will be making a lot of money Cheesy.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: January 20, 2020, 04:43:21 PM
They will only allow expanding the functionality of fiat currencies within the digital environment in which we are all moving.
We already have a digital environment when it comes to moving fiat currencies and if they are adding a blockchain to that movement then it will have more transparency and the biggest problem that can cause is that the government will be able to monitor every transactions we make and will have more control over us which i am not a big fan, so i am not in favor of those kind of development that a government will have more power over its citizens.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 20, 2020, 03:58:36 PM
1st Test between SL and Zimbabwe has started in Zimbabwe and batting first Zimbabwe had scored 358 runs . Top order played well and just that they could not capitalise it for the long innings. SL started their innings and are now 42/1 . SL would like to take some lead in the first innings to put pressure on Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe played really well to get to 358 runs, they were taking a lot of time to score these runs and it is a good approach and if they are able to pick wickets then it will be interesting to see how the Sri Lankan players will cope to the pressure and who will be rising and perform better, if they are able to bat till the third day then Zimbabwe can look for a draw, i know this is just the second day and it all depends upon how the Sri Lankan players are going to approach the game.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 20, 2020, 02:43:39 PM
^  Yup.  Khabib must feel a bit salty being an undefeated champ but still not as revered by the fans and not as highly regarded by the UFC as somewhat of a king and the face of the organization.
Khabib Nurmagomedov has a lot of fans world wide, if you go to the Middle East and Russia he is a super start and just image the population they have and say that he is not revered by the fans, he might not be having the same fan base in US but globally he is a much bigger super start and for some country to built a stadium for Khabib Nurmagomedov to fight, even Conor never had that kind of opportunity and the reported payout the UFC gave for Khabib Nurmagomedov for his last fight is $6 million, if you take the numbers alone Conor makes the biggest pay day and then comes Khabib Nurmagomedov.
836  Economy / Economics / Re: 10M Bitcoins Haven’t Moved in More Than a Year, Highest Since 2017 on: January 20, 2020, 01:40:22 PM
Over the year two schools of thoughts have been developed in regards to Bitcoin. One school of thoughts emphasis on the idea of increasing the utility of Bitcoins while the other stress on the idea of increasing the price of Bitcoin. As a result, Bitcoin have been caught somewhere in-between of these two poles. That is the main reason why we see circular moves in the prices of Bitcoin (hyperbola). When utility increases demand increases, this results in the increase in price, this results in volatility making bitcoin unfit for utility, which decreases demand, resulting in price decrease. The circle continues revolving.
This is a true statement, there are conflicting interest and ideology, the fact is for something that has to have valuation you need to have the utility, if the entire market is about speculation about the price and no utility then it will have the same affect as the Tulip Mania and that is not what we want. I am expecting more merchant adoption and utility in bitcoin in the next 10 years.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 20, 2020, 12:19:25 PM

Small happy group without much fuss, the most calmest group in the entire forum belongs here i guess, no enmity nor stabbing. Cheesy

Anyways, NZ vs Ind tour is coming next week, its one month tour ( 5 T-20, 3 ODI and 2 Test)
It is going to be an interesting tour and hopefully the fast bowlers will perform well especially Bumrah and Shami.
838  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best methods for sending BTC with low fees? on: January 19, 2020, 05:41:26 PM
I would like to get a wallet on my computer and be able to send BTC with small fees.
Just choose your wallet from the official site and you can send bitcoin at a very low transaction fees, i usually sent the transaction with a few hundred Satoshi and it gets confirmed in the next one hour or so according to the number of transactions in the queue. Make sure you download the wallets from the real source as there are many fake wallets to scam your coins.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 19, 2020, 04:19:40 PM
Big win in the home ground. Australia later might have thought the decision to bat first is the mistake for the loss of the match. The start given by Rohit Sharma made the run rate stay equal to the balls. This kept the game move without much pressure on the batsmen. Finally the win of India continues for the year. As said New Zealand conditions were completely different, lets wait and see the match by 24th this month.
Australia won the toss and batting first was the biggest mistake they made as they were not able to set up the score they wanted and in a pitch like this, chasing is easy because of the outfield is fast and any ball outside the circle is a boundary and the wet outfield will make things worst for the bowlers, but i am impressed with the Australian spinners bowling well in this match and throughout the series.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 19, 2020, 02:08:01 PM
Did Cerrone even train for the match??  Lol.  It seemed like he just took the money and fell.  Cheesy
But yeah...  Looks like we'll all have a good 2020 as far as fan boying the UFC is concerned.
Conor McGregor made a good start for the year and hopefully he will fight two more times this year but as expected Cerrone was a slow starter and we all know what Conor McGregor does at a start as always start very well and Cerrone could not handle him and he got knocked out in the end with a barrage of shots and the referee saved him and he did make a lot of money with the fight and i am expecting Cerrone to take a break after this and recover his body rather than fighting all the time.
