841  Local / Pilipinas / Re: COVID-19 at ang market. on: April 03, 2020, 02:19:16 PM
This crisis is different from other crisis because lives of the people are in the line.

Let's hope so.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi never used bitcointalk: Craig Wrigth on: April 03, 2020, 03:16:46 AM
Yup, who would believe this shit? even short-term BSV believers would doubt it at first glance. Just look at how stupid his argument is. If Satoshi didn't use Bitcointalk, then who's account is Satoshi Nakamoto here in the forum then? How come this Satoshi Nakamoto that we believed in are more fundamentally more knowledgeable than the self-proclaimed Faketoshi? it means that he doesn't know what he is talking about because he is not Satoshi Nakamoto himself.

There's just full of holes in his arguments, I wonder how he will get away with this one.

The solution is to just ignore the guy. We knew it already that he's trolling and fake. He doesn't deserve the attention that we're giving him.

To be honest, it's pretty too late to ignore the guy at this point. He is kind of famous now and newbies will likely fall to his scheme if not given enough warnings. Giving him bad rep would surely save those newbies poor souls.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Binance owns CMC! A Red alert for all the shit Exchanges! on: April 03, 2020, 02:28:56 AM
I don't really know if this was true but I found an article about this a day after april fools (I think) so I assume it's not a joke anymore. Though I'm still skeptical about this since they will have to be in an awkward position since they are mainly an exchange and they have the choice to change the number spot in the list. By the way, here's the article that I found. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/binance-coinmarketcap-acquisition-bet-crypto-130003977.html

I hope they do the right though by being strict when listing.

846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: March 30, 2020, 03:54:00 AM
If by "research" you mean looking up to see whether the project will be listed on large exchanges, then you're very wrong yourself. If you haven't heard about this yet, there have been quite a lot of instances where a coin has been added to an exchange by bribing the exchange owners. And a cryptocurrency is not all about "when binance" or "when moon".

Look for projects that you think truly do have a future and a potential. Don't you think that a project which is going to be listed on a large exchange cannot disappear off it as easy as it was added. There are only a few alts I truly support and I have supported them with all the delistings and listings they had yet. A listing/delisting doesn't influence my opinion at all about the coin.

Do some real research. See if your supported project has a real potential and isn't a copycat, a scam or a shitcoin. Remember: BitConnect was listed on some of the best exchanges in the world. Smiley

The thing here is that most projects who ends up in a crappy exchanges dies in that same place. BitConnect is a special case because they have a unique marketing strategy that targets even the outside of the cryptocurrency space while most ICO targets investors who already knows what cryptocurrency is. Also Bitcoin was booming at that time so Bitconnect did their job pretty well to deceive others. (remember those who don't even know what Bitcoin is but sold their homes to invest in Bitconnect). I'd say exchange is still a big factor to judge a projects capability base on the amount of projects failing or scamming in a crappy exchange.

I suggest to OP that you consider the bounty manager when you are looking at a project to promote, it will help a lot because most bounties nowadays are scams or a failure to begin with.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus has killed all cryptocurrency spaces! on: March 28, 2020, 03:31:30 AM
Btw If COVID-19 cannot be completely resolved, especially in every country affected by the corona virus outbreak?

what about the fate of the next cryptoqurrency industry?
I think, this virus not only inhibits activities throughout the world and can even be said to have killed the entire cryptoqurrency space!

Killed is just such an absurd way to say it. How do you think cryptocurrency space is dead? Are we not using it right now? Although we did get a sudden dump, we also recovered slightly. It's not like COVID-19 is permanent. WHO is taking care of it and soon enough, everything will be back to normal again and cryptocurrency that you said that is "Killed" will surprised you.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Holders actually bought BTC during the crash? on: March 27, 2020, 02:10:20 AM
If you didn't buy during the last crash, you'll regret it and you probably won't be ever seeing it again. Fear just makes us doubt everything even though that thing proves to us that it can recover over and over again. Weak hands shouldn't invest in Bitcoin in the first place anyway. And those who sold because it's an emergency, they should have an emergency funds in the first place when investing to prevent panic selling, it's common sense.

I didn't bought during $4,000 since I was probably asleep so I only got $4,900.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin current situation on: March 26, 2020, 03:08:07 AM
To the people who invested in Bitcoin with loaned money, they don't deserve anything in my opinion. They are stupid and lazy af. Instead of doing something productive that will help them make sure money, they are risking it here in Bitcoin, just waiting and relaxing thinking that Bitcoin will moon the next day. Probably most of them cried when Bitcoin dump to $4,000.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old crypto ways fades away easily on: March 25, 2020, 04:49:35 AM
It's sad but we really can't do anything about it. Since the 2017 boom, a lot of scammers and fraudsters took over the ICO because there's a lot of investors in the ocean during those times, not to mention that it's pretty hard for the authority to track them because of the nature of the cryptocurrency. With that, I had enough of ICOs and Bounty hunting that pays at the end of the campaign because you never know if it is a scam or not. Though I do consider some that is handled by a trusted manager.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trending Altcoins on: March 24, 2020, 03:53:16 AM

Based on price movement and social media presence

The market has been taking a hit lately. However, some altcoins are shining across social channels. Will this equate to mitigated drops, and even outsized performance once the market flips?

More Industry Statistics

I don't really think it will last for long. The only reason why they are relevant is because there's investors willing to invest in them as long as the hype is still going on. Once it died down, investors will likely to move on to other coins.

The profit was good though so I'd say it's a good coin. Good thing I got out of the moon ship before it fall down.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realise Coronavirus is not a reason why on: March 24, 2020, 03:26:23 AM
Bitcoin is Down

As you can remember when the virus spread at the beginning BTC price sharply reaching $9,439 on January 28, 2019, and the markets follow the BTC as always many crypto markets rose up, that means coronavirus favor CryptoMarkets first,

But what makes Bitcoin price go down
As the spread continue people start to panic with the disease not Btc, thinking of many Negatives and some people exchange their Crypto to friendly fiat money so they can cover some emergency staff buys extra food, drinks, masks, etc, the simple view is that many sell result to cheapest sell which automatic kill the prices of an Assets.

Nope, the main reason was the dump of 13,000 BTC that affected the market significantly then with the help of coronavirus fear, people really did dump their coins hard that time. As of now, we are still at a recovery phase and I say cryptocurrency is really doing good standing above $6,000.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus crypto on: March 23, 2020, 12:31:19 PM
The virus affected crude oil, stock and cryptocurrency markets. We all know that. The owner of binance and some analyst said the fall In the price of cryptocurrencies  is not due to the virus outbreak the way we thought. But for me, the virus contributed.
Some people converted their money to stable cryptocurrencies  at such time of the crises. And this led to further trading of cryptocurrencies  for fiats and stable cryptocurrencies because of the cause. And this cause cryptocurrencies  to down trend in price. That is why.

Agreed. Even the way people debated whether coronavirus is the cause is also a proof that coronavirus itself have an impact in the cryptocurrency space. People can't work, can't go outside, can't make a living for themselves, can't make any risk which affects traders around the globe. People prefer having hard cash in times of crisis like this instead of risking it in a market especially to a volatile market that Bitcoin have.

In conclusion, I don't think cryptocurrency is crisis proof at this time.
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 23, 2020, 05:24:12 AM
Another manipulation? We don't know.

All we know is that the price of Bitcoin fell much worse than this in 2018. A lot of people thought that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are starting to crumble, starting to die but it didn't. Bitcoin will always recover, from the past dumps up until now, it still proves that it will never let us down. Bitcoin will keep on giving us profit, that will be the same to other cryptocurrencies.

The thing here is that, people are using this dump as a propaganda to scare more investors so others can invest at a lot price before going up again. At at how those FUD are popping each time a dump like this happen, they are mostly active during this time. Partner it with the global crisis and you'll have weak hands all over the place.

They are probably accumulating as much as possible while trying to lower to the price for them to again more profit.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: March 23, 2020, 04:52:34 AM
Some bounty managers don't care about which project survives, all they care about is there payment, some just ant to use hunters and get paid from dev and move on to next project. Well now, hunters are getting wiser and not just working for campaign without checking out the team and plan odmf the project if it's legit or scam.
This is not first time we see such cases, bounty managers should be responsible and never accept the offers from the unknown teams. The shady conversations behind the scene can kill the reputation of the project if the scam accusation threads start to appear.

What are you saying? anyone who gets involve in a project is at fault, not just campaign managers. You as a bounty hunter is at fault too because you have the ability to research a project before participating in, it's not like everything is in private. We are at an information age where you can choose to accept or not from unknown projects. Not to mention that bounty hunters are the main source of advertisement of a project. Blaming bounty managers for everything is just absurd.

Also, it's not like bounty managers are the only one who cares little about the project. Bounty managers and bounty hunters are alike, they are greedy. Most bounty hunters are just as greedy campaign managers. As long as they see profit in it, they will go with the flow. I'm not saying all here, just most.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is altcoin season??? on: March 22, 2020, 01:43:52 PM
Last 2017 we witness a huge hype for altcoins, some makes a huge gains but many also had been suffering big losses after. Think that this thing will never happen again as we observe that there are no hypes shown to us this time.

Agreed, also one of the main reason why Bitcoin reached that high was because of the hyped Bitconnect which invited even those who don't know what Bitcoin is. Surely people learned a lot because of this. We all do.

I don't think alt season will ever come again. People learned during the 2018 dump that 99% of altcoins today are scams. Most investors will probably stay away from altcoins as much as possible except those in the top list.

858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto theft on: March 21, 2020, 07:34:53 AM
A woman was arrested in Bengaluru India for allegedly stealing 63bitcoins from Bitcipher Labs which is an exchange and she was a co founder to this exchange, that's over 470,000$, the fund was actually recovered but I wonder why all other crypto thefts and scammers aren't caught this easy.

Because most theft and crimes are happening outside an exchange. The thing here is that, she left so many traces of her for the police to track. She didn't even hide the necessary wallets to cover her thievery. She also made suspicious moves that made the police suspect her more by quitting even though she was the co-founder before stealing the Bitcoin. In short, she is stupid although she is an "expert" in this space.

If anyone wondering where the news at is, here's a link.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you ready for the Halving ??? Not that Halving, the PRICE Halving of Bitcoin on: March 21, 2020, 02:44:57 AM
-snip

We know you are called HardFacts, but you don't have to be hard on yourself. We know you lost a significant amount of money that you really need because of Bitcoin, but you don't have to take this really hard. Just relax for a bit to cool yourself away from cryptocurrency. Maybe hold or something? if you already sold your Bitcoin at a low price, then make a hobby or something. Maybe that will release your anger elsewhere instead of releasing it here in the forum which will only make you angry even more.

Let's just understand hardFacts guys.  Smiley
