I have been offline and away since the fork. So from what I have read on the thread is the FLY that was in Cryptopia this morning is gone?
If I look in my account in Cryptopia my balance is still there and the wallet is in maintenance mode.
Will the balance still be there once the wallet is back online on Cryptopia?
@midnight_miner not sure as of yet. There was some bug in the code and Vegas advised everyone to withdrawl to their personal wallet. We are awaiting instructions. |

I think a lot of people don't know you can mine for rewards higher then 1 CHIP atm.. And for miners who only want to dump. The rewards just arent high enough atm compared to the price they will receive for it when selling.. Having said that, I have a few things up my sleeve to reward the patient people  I am in no hurry myself to make this a top 10 coin.. I rather see steady growth then a pump and dump chart.. I know we have some strong holders among us.. As far as the old chain concerned, the top 25 addresses only kept growing the last few weeks.. So I have no doubt we are looking at a bright future here..   I like the sound of that BanzaiBTC - I don't mind mining all by myself. The occasional person hops on the chain or in the pool but for the most part I seem to be cleaning the chain all by my lonesome. But like I said I am not complaining. There are only 30,000 POW blocks and we are almost halfway through. I will keep "chipping"  away at the chain. Peace out. |

Ok - well thank you all for the informative posts above. I did try it and as you said - the efficiency was divided in half. I did decide to separate into (2) instances with the -d parameter and designated half of the cards to one algo and the other half to another. Thank you all for the info - poketex

I also disagree with this proposed auction.
It isn't open to everyone. It is open to rich people only.
I would suggest then to pony up .25 BTC with 11 other people to purchase a legendary staker. At least you will have some DMD rolling in. |

Crazy question - could i run (2) algos on the same rig in (2) separate instances. For example - (1) instance running X11 and (1) instance running (Skein2) on the same cards? What are the draw backs if any? I checked power consumption and there doesn't seem to be a change in power draw. Just wondering if I can break my rig that way? Thanks - pokeytex

I think this type of patience can take months or even years to learn. Maybe the seller wanted to do some Christmas shopping It's getting to be that time of the year. Maybe his shopping spree will make someone in his life really happy. I have nothing against selling your stake or even selling your entire stash if one feels to do so. What I think is extremely STUPID is dumping such large amount of coins in one or two transactions. Assuming that person didnt need BTC to pay for something real life emergency, which is rarely the case, there s no real need to dump cause that way you LOSE money. Yet, people rarely have enough patience for selling a bit at a time. This is the main difference between real investors and pumpers and dumpers. Most of real investors are EXTREMELY patient.

I also hope the person who dumped 6k DMD over the last week or so s not going to be upset after the price recovers soon. After all, we all make wrong decision in our lives but you simply never, never, NEVER dump DMD.
If you do, you end up crying later.
Maybe - he or she might cry - but maybe they have a ton more DMD - or maybe they got in real early and made a killing - no matter the reason someone sells - I subscribe to the "It's none of my damn business" mentality of why someone else decides to sell. LOL |

Seems like everything is working smooth - now all we need is an active market and some promotion to get people aware of this rebirth. Is there anything in the pipeline to generate some interest in Chip v.2?
I am looking at multiple ways to add a cloudstorage platform for CHIP... More info about that when I am certain I can realise that... Same goes for other plans I have in mind.. I dislike hyped coins... So releases will be pushed when they are ready... Without warning or pre annnouncement... As it should be imo...
