If I had imported a private key on Gox previously, is that by definition an "internal wallet"?

Hi,

the tracking number you gave me for order #1221 still doesn't work. Also nobody replied my email.

Please get back to me.

Thanks!

Tell me about your hard drive crash. I may be able to offer my services.

Head crash. I've already tried a service. Disk is long gone now.

Gone where? I am sure I don't need to tell ya: 1 kBTC might be worth trying to get it....
844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2014, 05:22:52 AM
eah something fishy going on.

my biggest concern that i wish i paid more attention to my balance for, is that I dont know if when the second spam txid is broadcast - does it cause my wallet balance to read lower?

Ie: if I have 3BTC and I send 1BTC, and then a spam rebroadcast goes out saying the same 1BTC transaction but never confirms, will my bitcoin-Qt wallet show 2BTC in it or will the client misread this to think that there is only 1BTC left?

imagine if it were to basically abandon coins when it creates te change address - it could be rescanned but there could be serious losses to some people who dont notice

Nope.
This would be only true if more people like Mr. Karpeles decide to program their own wallet.
845  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2014, 04:23:07 AM
Gox just continues to diverge from the other exchanges... ridiculous.

Wait for what happens when you can withdraw Bitcoin again
846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2014, 04:14:27 AM
Is it correct to say that Gox is responsible for the first, second and fourth big crash of Bitcoin?
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 11, 2014, 03:41:46 AM
What does "3 to 10 business days" usually translate to?

In spanish: 3 a 10 días laborables
french: 3 à 10 jours ouvrables
chinese: 3至10個工作日

Does this help?

I would be particularly interested in the Swedish interpretation of the term.

Speculating for the difficulty to level

I registered at my.ups.com - how do other people manage to find shipments there without a tracking number?

Also: more like meaninglesschatterquotedmanylevelsdeep.org
851  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: February 10, 2014, 04:25:30 AM
but srsly... ordered & paid on 29th Jan - cats who ordered on 5th feb are already mining....while mine were 'shipped' on the 8th and are yet to even reach a UPS facility...

WTFF??!!

Yeah, would appreciate more clarity about the shipping order / status as this is really time critical.

Also it would be nice to keep the thread free of meaningless chatter, especially if you quote one another many levels deep.

Should we start calling it Ft. Gox now that it is a fractional reserve bitcoin exchange that doesn't have enough funds to cover everyone?

Any sources?
Did Mt.Gox already make their update? Would be about time...
853  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 09, 2014, 06:33:51 AM
look at all the panic sale over the past several days, that's astonishing slaughtering, think about those sellers who just bought goxbtc at $200 above market just a week ago and now screaming to fire sell at $50-100 below market; Gox is the only asshole that benefit from this stupidity;  They are taking advantage of the panic to pick up some cheap goxbtc at shit discount (they are the only guys that know all the gox$ plus goxbtc dark pool), then off load to the same guys selling today at huge mark-up tomorrow as people rush to withdraw - be rational guys, Gox is no way to be insolvent as they are just collecting all your btc at basement price- unexpectedly, Gox will announce "withdraw as usual" when they finally clean the floors , let's test my theory and prove me wrong over the next week.

It's a good theory. It's a bold plan to load off a lot of debt from their books. Still they could decide that their desired numbers are not yet reached on Monday and just kick the price even lower with releasing a statement that it will take "a couple more days".
854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2014, 08:28:34 AM
FUD aside, the really interesting question is this: Is the current price normalization on Gox permanent, or will the Gox price quickly rise back above the other exchanges in a week or two when Gox resumes BTC withdrawals but still can't process fiat withdrawals?

Wait are you asking 1 + 1 = 2 ?

really?

I'll repeat myself, but you can bet on exactly that at plus500
855  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: February 08, 2014, 07:39:08 AM
Most of our staff has come back to work yesterday, and all of them ready today. We has been sorting out the orders and going through the process to ship out. We will ship out lots of miners today.

Thank you for what you're doing. For providing miners fast and reliably at a non rip-off price.
856  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: February 08, 2014, 04:11:49 AM

The last three letters in bitmain's Eligius address says it all.

1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeX

It doesn't look like they are shipping the units from that mining farm... also they appeared on btcguild again
857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2014, 04:04:24 AM
Gox price is now below Bitstamp. This is good. This "crash" is a shift in paradigm, GOX is DONE for good.

I hope Bitstamp user realize this and dont follow GOX price blindly. Gox users are basically trading toy moneys.

it would be really really hard to believe gox has completely exhausted all their cold storage coins and USD.

i'm more scared of the possible 30-50K coins that are going to come flying out of gox if they fix their bug.

Gox price will skyrocket again after (if) they fix their bug.
I guess people just sell their BTC there at the moment because they can't get it out and it might be much easier to sue Gox for USD.
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 07, 2014, 01:04:18 PM
If Gox's BTC withdrawals start working again, price on Gox will go sky high. If it doesn't, Gox will die soon.
Both interesting scenarios.

Insider tip: You can more or less safely bet on Gox prices through plus500.
859  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: February 07, 2014, 12:27:03 PM
Does somebody know which company they ship with? Destination Central Europe?
UPS

Nice. Thank you.

I think that I'm one of the first that purchased  S1 (01-29-2014) at 1.45. I'm waiting for tracking info Smiley

Keep us updated when you get tracking info -

Yes. Please.

Is that it? Is that the collapse of Mt.Gox we are waiting for so long?
