What does achieving one's potential look like to you?
A person that knows his worth and understands what he's got basically for his skill. And having that skill to work hard and save money for investing, like in BTC is a great opportunity that one can miss. While many of us have invested a lot in BTC, even if we tell them that this is the greatest investment of all time and this is going to change our lives. Many will just ignore us. So, that one potential that we've got is likely going to be messed up and put into waste because of ignorance. |

In this thread we are on the fact that holding Bitcoin profits more than any other practice you can engage in with bitcoin, be it trading or short term investment.
As someone who has been holding for so long, I can attest to this. I've trade and tried to relied on it but it didn't do any good for me. It's stressful and needs more time to focus on. While for holding, it's just there and no need to do such things but to accumulate and have more through DCA. Proven and tested and very effective. But for those that are good in trading and they're making a living out of it, I see people that do that and I guess it's just really for them but for me, it's not but it won't stop me to do trades. |

So, don't be too hopeful on it if you're putting a lot of money on it for the upcoming bull run.

I agree. What's the new trend in the market rn in your opinion? Not sure about that but we likely going to see those Spot ETF applications from different projects. We've seen first the approval that has been applied for so long with Bitcoin. And then followed by Ethereum. Some say about next one is with XRP. The list goes on like with SOL, and other known projects. |

It is a long discussion about learning who's the boss and who's the leader. Boss is just like what you've described but let's not discredit on how he had made it to the ladder.
Many of these bosses have also gone through a lot of hardships just as we and when they've made to the top, they're just enjoying bossing around.
Whilst for a leader, they're going to direct you and help you with your job and on how to be the better person. You're totally fortunate if you've got both of this, and it's a bonus to have a boss that totally cares and teaches you.

It is like asking people why we should buy our houses and lots.
All of us aim to profit and have our lives changed. Buying Bitcoin is the bet of our lives and we have been waiting for the right time to sell at best revenue that we can make.
That is the reason why we invest in Bitcoin. Want to use it for payments? ok, do it but most of us are holding it for profits.
exactly , I don't really understand what is the other reason of people aside from making money or just to use decentralized option of paying . For payments, we always say that because that usage of bitcoin has never been gone. But the majority is acquiring bitcoin today because of the future plans and making money out of it. Maybe some just do it for fun and they're bored with their lives as they've got nothing to do and they've got tons of money already so, they use it just to play with their money's value and try to increase it. |

And you have to do it repetitively. One thing that I've learned as well is when you want to master something, you have to practice it and we all know about it.
No man can master or learn anything absolutely from scratch. For example, when we were studying in school as children, we used to read what our teachers taught us over and over again so that we could learn it quickly. Similarly, for our detailed experience in trading, we need to learn about trading and practice it over and over again. Everything starts from scratch and one can master it from there if done continuously. Right, we have to learn and practice it for us to become better at something and that's the same with trading. No matter how many times you fail but if you have perseverance on it, definitely it's going to be worth it upon seeing the fruits of your practice.
If you fail, it's either you're out or you'll be inspired by that failure to make it right.
Patience is standing up after failing again and again. If you fail once, try again. If you fail again, try again. Keep trying and you will succeed. Patience is the greatest power to succeed in anything. Those who have the power of patience are successful in life. Those that have become successful have also failed but what is the difference on them is that they made it right but doing it again and again. |

Bukele was re-elected as President of El Salvador and stated that he would continue the policy of introducing Bitcoin.
What if Bukele isn't reelected? This only means that there can be new sets of policies towards the country's status about having Bitcoin as a legal tender. It is still difficult to talk about the success of Bitcoin in El Salvador, because according to surveys in 2023, the use of Bitcoin by the population has decreased significantly to 12%, compared to 2022 when this figure exceeded 24%.
This is not surprising because still many of their residents don't have an idea or doesn't like using it as a legal tender. I understand that Bukele is trying in every possible way to introduce Bitcoin, but this survey shows us that for the population, payments in Bitcoin are not so convenient that its use is growing among the population, in fact, we see the opposite situation when these indicators are declining.
That's sad but it's the reality. |

New year already started. I think we should set plan for what to do or what to gain whenever a new year come. So is for 2024. Without any routine and discipline, its hard to archive something good in life.
So my plan is to become a good programmer. I already have knowledge in this Field but i think, in this year i should need to teach myself more and will try to become professional one. I've plan about working Crypto related websites, softwares and similar things what become in demand in future. So what's your plan for this 2024?
Good luck in being a good programmer. What I am planning this year is to just stay on the line with my plan of long term holding. It is what I am planning to be and there are other plans after taking profits. But this time, I am moving forward to stay in the market and keep holding because we all have the idea on what's about to come. It's broad honestly.
Like those that are not well off in life but are one of the early investors of BTC and managed to hold it up to this time. This means a freedom, financial freedom as they can do anything they want to without having the worry with finances because bitcoin got their backs.
For me, it's a lot of things of what btc means to me. It can be my future asset being on held by me and will be converted likely to tangible assets.
Currency as well because I can use it for purchases that I want to. As in, it's like everything today.

If you can stay away from memecoins in the market, it will help you to avoid scammers, because many memecoins has reduced many investors to nothing in the community because they refuse to embrace potential coins like Ethereum, Solana and BNB in their crypto trading.
Many of these meme coins aren't really serious with what they've started and that's why many are into investing their money with it. If you think that many of them should be avoided, I am with you and people should buy those coins that they're aware of and if they can buy bitcoin, it must be done. There are communities now that are into pump and dump with these meme coins and they're unstoppable. Because whatever we tell them, they'll keep going. |

This is old issue still exist on them and for so sometimes many people call out LL for this kind of behavior and they suggested that they should hire people to work on their casino so that if he's away there's someone can help them especially to replenish the hot wallet so that people will no encounter any issues regarding on payment matter. But I guess they don't do anything in this side since this issue continue to exist on their casino.
And waiting for weeks is really to much and frustrating so I maybe the only thing to do now is to wait for LL to go back online again then see those tickets rise and maybe for that those issues will be taken care of.
Now its not all about creating tickets it matter now on when LL could able to check the status of their casino.
I've seen the times when there have been the same complains and later on has been solved. But then, if there are some delays again and this problem exists again, LL or whoever he assigns to do the task should actively check their tickets and this thread too. Did LL hire someone or some people to help him in his casino lately? AFAIK LL is the only one who has the access for payment in the casino such as refilling the hot wallet, so once the hot wallet is empty and LL is away or busy in real life, players will need to wait for LL till he is coming back.
I think so because his absence is a big thing to bitvest if he's running it all alone. There's the team for the moderators and I think that there's a the other back end team for processing the payments. So even with his absence, the website is still operational. I'm not sure about support system, is it also managed by LL himself of he has some staffs to help him? If he is the only one to cover all things in the casino, it will take longer time for players to get response from the support. As what being said by Taskford above, it is an old issue at Bitvest, anytime LL is away or inactive then there is no one to cover him in managing the casino.

Obviously for beginners, it is the spot trading. But many beginners are moving forward to do futures as soon as they see it being done by the others.
The idea they have is it's easy and that's why they're trying to do it as well without having to calculate the risk that they're taking. If you want to get into trading, take each step slowly and learn.
Because the faster you want to get on it, the higher risk that you'll be taking just like those that quickly jumps to futures.

You have to find your local old coins and antiques collection community. You'll have better idea on how much the pricing if ever you'll liquidate those old coins from your grandmother.
Also, there's a lot of people that will help you out on that community if you ever find one that's close to your area. It's better to start with that online community and ask questions there.

That is true, as they say, learning is continuous and that makes us being informed not just with the basic information that we need to know but also with the current things that are happening.
For example, in the current crypto cycles and community. We have an idea on where we are right now and this should give each and everyone of us on how to react with the situation.
