...you ask your inspiration (risto, for readers who doesn't know)...

His followers think the world of him...

[img]shameless FUD[img]

Risto's trend line is at ~$2,500 now. There has never been a better time to buy bitcoin! This happens every cycle: everyone becomes convinced that bitcoin is finished, and then it rises again!

buy all the bitcoins now, wow $450 is for cheap, the price "should" be at $2500, sell your house, your car, your wife and kids and buy Bitcoin, because to THE MOON.

if anyone said the above, he wouldnt be considered as a troll, but because I speak common sense and use my brain cells I am a troll. well a troll is a common adjective in this sub forum, so be it Smiley I am a troll  Cheesy

My take is as Phoenix's - mmitech your answer proves that you are just trolling...

So bad cause you seem really smart guy and could be very useful with your feedback.

I've been trolling since May remember ? when I was telling you that the price is not going anywhere... was I wrong? am I trolling? let me guess... a hard question, I am going to pass it.

Dipped again, bought again. Cheap coins for everyone who wants them!

Obviously no one

The fact that the price has been sustained at, or above $450 for a while, with more BTC being created daily, shows plenty of people want them. Wink

Really ? I cant remember since when the price was/is sustained @ $450, wait... is it since the time it was $550 and you said we will never see $500 again, or is it since the time the price was $650 and you said you feel a bubble forming ?

cant really blame you, people are just desperate..... meanwhile lets do something fun, you ask your inspiration (risto, for readers who doesn't know) about how many coins he still hold and he have to sign a message were coins are contained, and come back to me with the answer and I will make it more fun and interesting with few other facts.
So what a fair price would be for you?

Please don't quote it!

Dont quote it !!? maybe you meant him, or you really think I am an object?? and BTW this is the answer to your dilemma:

it is not about me, look at the book order and try to ask your question again.... but if you insist, if it would be about me, the price would be at the moon or zero at this point  Cheesy

Maybe i'm obsessed with ddos, but it seems like stamp trading slowed a lot

Bitstamp is drying up... they didn't innovate at all, Bitstamp today is like Bitstamp the end of 2012, all they did is add 2FA (very late last year) and add stop loss this month, they are so slow regarding innovation.... and their insane know your customer practice is not the best way to bring more customers (if not the reason to lose more customers).

Wait, they added stop loss at Stamp ?
That could be entertaining ...

yes they did
847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 17, 2014, 02:00:45 PM
I've not seen such a wide spread across the exchanges since I got into BTC early year. It's quite clearly a manipulated flush on key exchanges. BTC china has been dragged by the feet but its obvious there is too much hurt because te exchange is +$15 and doesn't want to follow off the cliff.

We can only wait until this entity / group is done with their mission. The shorters will have to pull out of their positions soon as well, they are all going to get cluster-fucked if the trend reverses sharply - and it will when the dump is over.

what ?!!! Gox and stamp had $200 at one point (but Gox BTC and Gox dollar doesnt count) and BTC-e had at least -$50 gap from Bitstamp.

It's going to be fun to watch then support at 440$ will be broken. Grin

I don't think this will happen yet. Looks like a small bounce is incoming.
you call 1400 BTC support ? what happened to the 10K and 20K BTC walls that we've seen at the beginning of this year ?

3xx before the end of the week ?

16K BTC to $600 VS 17.5K to $100 @ Bitstamp... really comforting.

Crazy stuff. This doesn't exactly seems like a healthy market. Where are all the sells coming from?

At any rate, these phases are necessary to further distribute the Bitcoins over the world (cause that is what this is).

24K BTC to $100 and 9K BTC to $600 @ Bitfinex.... I am ignoring the fact that usually when the price move a bit up, more Asks build near the target price..... conclusion: the tension in the crypto market is not healthy at all, it gives me the impression of a coming/near collapse !!

Collapse? You must be joking lol. It will not significantly (not that word!) collapse.

a "crash" from $460 to $150 is considered a collapse IMO, which is very possible looking to this thin book order.

I would sell my house, my car, and all my toys and buy the shit out of bitcoin if we go below 200.

when the price was around $800-950 at the beginning of this year, people said the same about $4xx... people said that 2014 is the year of Bitcoin (which wasnt wrong in terms of development) and they said the price will jump to $10K before May... and they said... they said many things, I wonder if these people are still around ?

I remember talking to someone after the gox failure, he told me that Gox killed every chance for Bitcoin's price growth this year, I told him that this doesn't matter and I was up for a bet, he wouldn't take that bet because he thought it wouldn't be "fair" as he was damn sure about what he was talking about, the guy shorted the shit out of Bitcoin just a little below $1000... he was a hard core Bitcoiner...in fact he is still around but I don't think he still holds that large sum of coins he held last year.

What is happening with Ripple ? it did almost 10% the last 24 hours and around 30% the last 7 days ?!!!  Darkcoin also seem to be doing very well 20% in 24 hours...

This are poor pump and dumps actually, Peercoin was up 40% yesterday and something similar with Blackcoin a few days ago. 3/4 of ripples volume is in cny
BTW GameLeagueCoin is up 54% and Bitmark 40%

I do look only at the top 10 coins by 24 hours Volume and market cap.

Sorry Blitz, but I can never forget your legendary, "Nobody buys the triple digit lie any more." Your pessimism is so over the top.

Bitcoin is FINE everyone. It's still the most robust medium of exchange ever invented.

I wonder what would the price of a Bitcoin  be if Alts didn't exist ?? we all know that to buy an Alt you need to buy bitcoins first to convert them to alts later which add additional demand/support to the price....  now imagine that for a moment.

stop with "manipulators" conspiracy, not every single trade that effect the price is manipulation, we are 200$ (from 650) in 2 months and you are still talking about bubbles and manipulators!!!  the truth is that the price might fall down further, I am surprised it held this long.

I wonder why all the dice sites are almost identical to each other, is there a sort of template to copy?

Its a script thats for sale. Lack of creativity kills everything Sad

true, and after spending some time looking at the code and fixing many bugs and losing some money because of this bugs (or maybe backdoor who knows), I can tell you that it is a shitty script that cost me 16BTC in total (price+costs+loss)... I think I will turn this shit off and try to do a better job my self.

Hey guys, I haven't opened my wallet in probably 4 months so my wallet is way out of date. Is there anything special I need to do? Or do I just download the newest wallet, open it and let it sync, close it and then replace the wallet.dat it creates with my backup wallet.dat?

Go into %appdata% and change the name of your old wallet.dat file to something like OLDwallet.dat

Delete peers and darkcoin.conf

Open new Wallet and allow it to create new wallet.dat file.
Allow it to sync
Create a new RECEIVE ADDY and right click copy the addy

Close the wallet
back into %appdata% and rename the wallet.dat file to NEWwallet.dat
rename OLDwallet.dat back to wallet.dat

Open the old wallet client and send all your coins to the newly created addy from above.
Once you send all coins close the wallet out.

back into %appdata% rename wallet.dat to OLDwaallet.dat
rename NEWwallet.dat to wallet.dat

open new version of darkcoin - you should be good at this point...

Thanks for the help! Just for clarification, I was planning on just downloading the wallet from darkcoin.io and I have my backup wallet.dat on an external hdd.
So I should...
1. Delete peers and darkcoin.conf
2. Open new wallet and let it sync
3. Create a new address
4. Close the wallet and name the new wallet NEWwallet and change the backup wallet back to wallet.dat
5. Send coins to the new address and close wallet
6. Change wallet.dat to OLDwallet.dat and NEWwallet.dat to wallet.dat
7. Open new wallet and hope coins get in

Anything wrong with that? Also, what should I do if my old wallet won't sync? Thanks for your help guys.

I dont think you really have to change wallets, you can keep your old one as well, but just don't forget to back it up before you try anything, keep more than one backup just in case.
