861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: has trading become difficult? on: December 10, 2017, 07:03:35 PM
These days the bitcoin prices are rising and falling over 1000$ in just minutes and have become highly unpredictable way more than before.
Does this make trading more difficult right now?
Difficult? It has always been a little difficult for a lot of people, but now that the price has raised so high trading is getting complicated by the day. Potential coins are doing down when converted to btc even though it's rising in terms of USD.  Understanding the situations of market's  is getting harder and more screwed up shit things are becoming.

http://bithot.org/

what's this? What's up with ppl forking out non stop and ridiculous stuff like this?

i mean, it's around 200+ blocks away and their targetted 12-12-17 fork but they dont have wallet, mining pool or exchange confirmed.

what's wrong with this ppl? Angry
It's a obvious scam and kudos to people who actually are going to believe in it.  Never heard of bithot ever to be honest and the fork is in two days, no advertising, no shit, just fork is going to take place on 12.12.2017,ain't that wonderful. Hey, useless wannabes out there, you might get free money, go after it. Opportunity of a lifetime for you people. At least you'll stop spamming in signature campaigns for a while.
863  Economy / Economics / Re: Bulgaria Government Shocked To Discover It Owns $3 Billion In Bitcoin on: December 10, 2017, 05:34:00 PM
Confiscation of bitcoin from criminals is not going to be easy thing ,you know. There are quite a few things that need to be taken into consideration. Confiscation of bitcoin has not only happened in Bulgaria but in many more countries. Point is confiscation scares people which is not a good thing. Legit guys feel scared of losing all their money. Bulgaria, Having 3 billion $ as it's GDP is almost equivalent to 5% of it's GDP. This indicator can be taken into consideration by many economies but not by confiscating but by some other measures.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will (ADA) Cardano replace ETH? ETH weaknesses exposed?!?!? on: December 10, 2017, 03:31:49 PM
What do you guys think?
Eth is more popular than cardano, people at least know what eth is(normal crypto users), I reckon saying that not everyone knows about cardano and it's features. Eth, everyone knows. Eth has a bigger capital and the price is also too high to compare cardano with it. Next year we may see something fantastically well, until then at least let's not compare eth to cardano.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano (ADA) Price Prediction 2018: One Cryptocurrency with Great Upside Potent on: December 10, 2017, 02:48:14 PM
I found this article that has a serious analysis about Cardano. I think Cardano can reach $1 in 2018 just like the article says.

https://www.profitconfidential.com/cryptocurrency/cardano/cardano-ada-price-prediction-2018-cryptocurrency/

Enjoy
Well though this coin has been popular quite lately and as a trader I have seen its potential grow. Am not entering with price prediction without any due speculation but reaching 1$ shouldn't be much of a problem for cardano by the end of 2018. Got to say, one of the few good and worthy altcoins.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Short Term Profit on: December 09, 2017, 07:16:54 PM
Hey Guys,

What coins do you think will offer a great profit in short time?

Thanks
An exact newbie mistake. You cannot say, profits are determined and speculated on the basis of circumstances, not the popularity, especially in crypto trading. Do your own research will you, don't expect people to spoon feed you and you reap the benefit from it, the likeliness of you benefitting is very less because you may invest at the right time. Never ask people for trading directions, no one will help you. Everyone's selfish. Go out there and learn and then start trading.
867  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 09, 2017, 06:32:03 PM
Hi guys! Can you share some tried and tested tricks on making the most out of your buck and also some tips on how to save money more effectively. This will be a heck of a help to our fellow users here. Thank you so much.
When you spend so much yeah, you'll automatically have a gut feeling of regret and this might help you. You need to have self control over yourself otherwise you might end up talking terrible decisions forever. Correct your weakness now or regret forever. The choice is yours. Just imagine that if you save now, you won't have to work much in the future if you are lazy like me. Wink
868  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: December 09, 2017, 06:07:19 PM
As oart of the economy I want to ask

•What do you think is the next big thing? by means bitcoin is getting higher and people should now invest in like what they did before.

•What coin like bitcoin you should invest in? is it  bitcoingold? or the next coin that the developers will create
Bitcoin gold is shit obviously and my answer to bitcoin's alternative is none till now. Maybe there's little contingency for a better coin which may help the community very much and is released at the right time, then I won't mind. But if it's not at all helping the community, then no.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Made money on Bitcoin Fork? share your experience. on: December 09, 2017, 05:37:45 PM
I read, you are credited a proportion of the news coins relative to the Bitcoins left in your wallet. How true is it and has any one make money with it ?
Yes it is true, users we're credited bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold in the proportionate ratio of their bitcoin holdings at that time of the fork. However, not all the users we're credited with these altcoins, as the coins we're credited to the people who we're using the wallet which supported the fork. But one thing I'm disappointed about it is people look at it as free money and not as a coin developed for the betterment of bitcoin, which these coins didn't do. So don't know who to blame here ,the users or the dev team..
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin - Any big development news on: December 09, 2017, 05:11:05 PM
Litecoin has gone recently and today it reached 150 a major milestone.

Any big news of it that caused the momentum or is it the bull run for the al coins since BItcoin had a correction.
There is a new agreement between litecoin and steam, steam is going to accept litecoin as a mode of payment. This news has been awaited for long and a lot of people invested in litecoin a few days ago..
Edit :- You can only buy steam vouchers with litecoin it seems. But still it's a big news.
871  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin better than stocks, real-estate? on: December 09, 2017, 04:34:23 PM
In the traditional investment systems  there are areas like stock exchange, real estates, commodity market, forex market. Then there are hedge funds, mutual funds, equity, debentures. Next in line are precious metals like Gold, silver, diamond. Years after year and decades after decades when mainstream economics was convincing people that how one of above is better than other as it is giving returns in the range of 8% to 9% at max 10-13% a new revolution named bitcoin is rising and spreading across the world. Bitcoin has defied all conventional knowledge about return on interest. Surviving each negative publicity and doubts, incidents like mt. gox and still growing better than ever.

What do you think why bitcoin is the best investment than stocks, real-estate, gold or any other conventional investment?
Decentralization makes bitcoin better than everything else. These traditional methods of investments are regulated and have regular intervention by central authorities and new regulations are being framed which makes people to think again whether or not to invest. Bitcoin is next level, has a support of only the people, nothing else, its governed by the code. Bitcoin seems more fun than shares, debentures and Commercial papers etc.
872  Economy / Speculation / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions keeping price up?! on: December 09, 2017, 02:41:19 PM
My question is already in the subject line.
I saw today that there is about 180 k unconfirmed transactions (https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions)

Besides the fact that it undermines btc's reputation and ability as a currency, is that what keeps the price steady at the moment?

Maybe you can help me out here, but the most likely scenario for me is that this prevents the btc price from dropping right now?

thanks in advance for your input!
The fees are high and nobody wants to pay more, even if the price rises. This is nothing besides human greed, they only want their income to rise, not their expenses. One of the main reasons for the huge amount is that people are willing to sell, since the price has hit ATH,they are moving their coins from wallet to wallet, and two they don't want to pay high fees and are persistent about it. They don't even know to accelerate their transaction and are spamming about accelerating their tx wherever possible. The price of btc is not dropping because of support not 'cause of tx fee,is it? Agreed to some point that the unconfirmed tx can cause a delay for people to dump but otherwise this is just a minute reason for the price not dropping. Plus, miners are only in favor of high fee transactions and more priority is given to it,no matter what the amount is.
873  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Bets His Manhood that BTC will reach $1 mil by 2020 on: December 09, 2017, 01:25:04 PM
Well, he did predict the price will go to 5,000$ by the end of this year, it ended up going till 16,700$ and this year isn't over yet. Any guy wouldn't bet his dick for a speculation unless and until he has like done research for so much time. Well if one bitcoin will be worth 1 million, then this world will be introduced to more and more new wealthy elites.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in those ICOs? on: December 08, 2017, 08:39:04 PM
Hello, everyone. I’ve been into crypto for a while and would like to participate in ICO. I know it’s risky but I have some funds I can afford to lose. I was researching a lot of ICO lists and it was very hard to find something I was interested in. There are a lot of good ICOs out there. Here are the 3 ICOs that I would like to participate but can’t decide what I should go for. I sorted them according to what I consider the best.

1. Zabercoin. It’s an asset backed cryptocurrency. Those guys aim to provide a crypto which is actually backed by real physical assets like real estate. I also like how they want to utilize the act 13 sex of income tax

2. DropDeck. This is a project which wants to combine AI with Blockchain to improve the way fundraising works.

3. LevelNet. Peer to peer cyber protection network.

So what are your ideas about these ICOs. What would you recommend? If you have some other suggestion, please let me know
To be honest I haven't even heard a word about these icos you have mentioned here. I hardly believe that these icos will be legit, they mostly look out to be a scam, watch out man, you might end up losing everything. Some times even a legit looking ico ends up scamming people. Do more research on the icos and then invest.
875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin trading platforms advice on: December 08, 2017, 07:50:35 PM
Hello there

I use Coinbase to purchase my BTC and then transfer them to Bittrex to invest in other currency. However, the transfer-fee is too damn high. I'm thinking about Copenhagenbitcoin, just contacted them. But at this point I'm open to anything since for a second start it will be a small amount, under 200 USD.

So a place where I can buy BTC, transfer them to a site which allows alt coin-trading - and then trade them from that site back in BTC so I can get, if I want, get out so cold hard cash.

Any advice?

Thanks
Bittrex is the one of the best exchange that I prefer to trade with, you can use hitBTC(link) if you don't like bittrex. However, choose wisely on which altcoin, apparently this is really not the right time for getting your hands muddy in altcoins, the prices have gone down terribly. Will not suggest to invest, cause I have got quite a bit of loss when converted to bitcoin. If you want fiat trading, I think you can use kraken(link) for that.
876  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC exchange problem on: December 05, 2017, 08:38:38 PM
Hi,

1- I have transferred my $100 LTC from Exodus wallet to my HitBTC account
2- The balance is now 0.00869197 BTC
3- When I want to change it to LISK, I get "insufficient error"

Amount: 9
Price: 0.0008491 BTC per 1
Total: 0.007641900 BTC

Screenshot attached too
Can anyone explain why?
Are you sure it's not in pending balance or in your main account as mentioned by:
To the author - check if your balance is in the trading account, not the main one.
If it's in the main account transfer to your trading account, there will be an arrow similar like this: ➡. And then you're good to go, if there is no balance in both trading and main account, then something must be weird, check all the details again.

878  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex verification issues on: December 04, 2017, 09:15:30 PM
Hello there, everybody.

I'm sorry in advance if i've chosen the wrong thread to post my topic.
I recently got into trading and i've been told to start with a bittrex.com as my first trading website. Thing is, as soon as i decided to register i wanted to get fully verified so i won't face any further issues so i uploaded my IDs.
But apparently, automatic verification couldn't do its job so for my verification it now needed for someone to manually review my IDs and, as it said, usually takes around 7 days.

It's been 3 and a half weeks already, i havent heard a thing from support team, they ignore all my emails and i simply can't start trading.
I really hope you guys can help me sort things out, any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Please be aware of the fact that bittrex users have been facing a lot of issue in terms of withdrawal or account being disabled and the like. If you're willing to start trading, try to act a bit dynamic and use various exchanges for trading. Note that different exchanges have different policies and KYC registration is a must for some exchanges and for some exchanges only normal sign up is required.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Silver Fork - December on: December 04, 2017, 08:39:26 PM
Segwit2x cancelled, BCH have given so many issues in BTC transactions though still free dollars so not a problem, Now comes Bitcoin silver!!

What we will expect for this new fork? Do we hope for a litecoin version of BTC? Will this have a chance to skyrocket? given the specs:

BTSI Comparison
Supply: 21 Million
PoW algorithm: Equihash
Mining Hardware: GPU
Block Interval: 30 sec
Block size (actual): 1M (2-4M)
Difficulty adjustment: Every block
Segwit: Yes
Replay protection: Yes
Unique address format: Yes

To know more about BTC silver: https://coincodex.com/article/1068/bitcoin-forks-again-in-december-the-bitcoin-silver-story/

Ah not this bull shit again. Clearly people are only confusing bitcoin with the various alts having bitcoin as it's predecessor for example, bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, now bitcoin silver. Especially new comers are finding it difficult to figure these things out and understanding the concept of bitcoin and these forks will be a difficult task for them. There were not rumors on bitcoin diamond or some sort of thing after the suspension of the November fork. Sad thing is no matter how many number of forks take place they aren't helping much to improve the standards in the community and is leading to absolute scam in some places and hell these codes are copy paste, so better not get involved much in this .
