I do think that NEO is a good project, and the big price drops from the ATH do make it attractive at current prices. One question that's pertinent for all coins though - the bear market continues, so will prices drop further? I suspect they will.
why are you doubtful about the NEO? hasn't the NEO been proven to be a potential altcoin in the future? if you only see the current price, this is a very natural thing, not only the NEO has decreased. It has been loosing a lot of demand and where's your point to call that as a coin which still have a lot of potential to grow in the future? this is not a natural thing when you are seeing the new coins were over performed NEO. Early 2018 I had different altcoins via bounties, airdrops and small investment in ICOs. But the major mistake I made was waiting for bull run to come so I could sell and make large profit. But atlast the bull run never came. So I had to keep hodling till I got stocked in the Bear market.
I think you all should learn from my mistakes and never wait for bull run because nobody knows when the bull is coming because of the volatility of the market. Sell when you have decent profit and not waiting till you have a large profit. Thanks

Anonymity for transactions and regulation for exchanges that operates locally.
Many are subject against KYC because they are scared that their data will be hacked which is of a trend right now. Regulations strengthens the validity of exchanges and its users but it doesn't guarantee that prices will increase. People like to attest regulations because of the belief that it will increase prices.
Regulations should bring institutional investors, that is why people believe that regulations will help increase the price of cryptocurrencies. But I think, that regulations will decrease the volatility and is that good? Regulation will decrease anonymity that's the counterpart of having it. No another 10x,100x in the future?  I'm optimistic with 10x in the future. Regulation to remove the anonymity and the regulators can monitor the crypto market. But this time it's already happened through various centralized exchange site which give responsibility to the users to complete the identity verification. |

According to my vision investors are waiting for better market. Yeah, they don't want to take high risks and invest in ICOs on current stage. It is usual situation. Once market is rebounce, then new money flow will allow ICO to raise funds. It is a matter of time! Investors will get back soon!
Some of them are investors while at the same time they are speculators. They will try to take a little benefit from the current condition of cryptocurrency. There was no ETA when that will happen but as far as i know that they will be back when there will be a signal to the rebound. |

Seems the market is more manipulated that ever before with Options trading. Everyone is "holding" out and waiting to see but do you think it will really come? I lean to it being more steady increase over time that some mass crazy rise like last year.

Don't forget that some greedy users are willing to put their private keys into a web form on apparently doubtful website. Lack of basic security principles serves for these scammy hard forks.

it would be better to split your portfolio. you can invest 70% of your funds in bitcoin and 30% in ethereum or adjust percentage as you wish.

What is everyone predicting as the bottom on the market for ETH and BTC for 2019
We are all guessing and no-one can accurately predict crypto a year ahead... but my feeling is that we'll see a market recovery and that the prices we've seen so far this year will be as low as they go. We will that and that's the rule in the speculation market. The recovery will come after there will be a big dump. We need a lot of result in the major development progress to make it becomes a true story. I don't even care how long that will come. |
