901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Potential Lawsuit to Bitcoin on: March 02, 2020, 04:07:10 PM
Craig should be careful on this statements and actions, it can be used against him later on. Why can't he just moved on with this issue insisting he can control bitcoin and that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. Okay, the guts he build on his self and the confidence is still at him but that jusy making him look so stupid. Everyone knows he is just one of those attention seeker.

If he can't even make one of his statements true, how can people believe his crap?

To stay relevant I guess. He's been doing this for years now and to think that he would come this far just to shill his scam coin. You see, he isn't doing this to make people believe that he is Satoshi, the creator of Bitcoin, he is doing this to lure more newbies and spread false lies in order for them to invest in BSV instead of Bitcoin and this cunt is doing a great job by making another statement. Check the market price of BSV and you'll see a pump and dump-like pattern.

I just can't wait for when he is exposed for his lies.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit bounties are getting attention and hype! Stop doing these bounties! on: March 02, 2020, 03:52:40 PM
This is just the way bounty works nowadays. Most bounty hunters doesn't really care if they are participating in a shitty project as long as they can profit from it. Even if those projects are made by 12 years old, they will still take it if there's opportunity. To be fair, it's pretty difficult to identify good projects to bad ones and most bounty hunters prefer joining as many as they can so they can profit from the process of elimination.

It's really bad though especially that ICO's credibility is getting reduce along with bounty campaign's success.

One thing that I don't understand is why users continue to enroll to these "shit" bounties. No matter how scammy a project may seem, they never fail to get bounty hunters to participate in the bounty campaigns. First of all, the bounty hunters need to have some self-respect, and they need to grow a backbone and boycott the scammy campaigns.

Even shit projects can give you decent rewards if you dump fast enough.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thoughts about privacy coins on: March 01, 2020, 11:12:30 AM
That's where you are wrong. That depends on the person whether you are going to send it to centralized exchanges or not. They can only track you if you give them the chance to do so. So why would you do that? you don't. Use decentralized exchange if you don't want to be track or at least use some third party that will help you stay anonymous, there's a lot of them. The moment you send your own coin to a wallet that you don't own the private key, it means that you've already given your privacy to a centralized system.
904  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's the cheapest way to pay and receive BTC in my local business? on: February 29, 2020, 03:28:44 AM
First of all, where are you from? because apps depends on the country you reside in. In the Philippines, there's an app called coins.ph that let's you send or receive coin immediately without fee except receiving or sending from outside source. There's also an app from Canada called Abra which is an app in a phone that let's you receive cryptocurrency. I don't know much about where are you from so I can only recommend this.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question about BNB's future on: February 28, 2020, 10:20:52 AM
Binance is doing a great job in being the top exchange and I think holding it will definitely yield a good result in the future because you can't mine it. Binance has been experimenting a lot with new features like the IEO and I must say, they are doing better than most exchange so if you have still doubt, then check the price history and you'll see that it is doing a decent job than most coins out there and it's cheap in my opinion.
As of now, nasa $8,500 nanaman tayo ulit.

Ano satingin nyo kabayan? Hindi maliit ang binaba natin simula nung first day this month at kung titignan mo, sumabay ang pagbaba ng Bitcoin sa stock market.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stock market CRASHING. How will this reflect on Bitcoin on: February 27, 2020, 03:16:30 AM
I don't know how high 3% is but as of now, Bitcoin price is sitting at $8,500 which is more or less 10% lost since the start of this month so I think stock market and cryptocurrency is kind of related. Maybe the investors are trying to panic sell? and because of that, they are trying to get their profit in cryptocurrency too to avoid more lost. We might have to see some downs in the coming days if this gets out of hand though I don't think it will be that bad.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you heard about Super Blackhole? on: February 26, 2020, 03:34:25 AM
snip-

Right, and specifically those stable coins who are not tied with fiat currencies.

I don't see the use case of this hyper deflation coins as there's no need for it. I've seen a lot of hyper deflation coins in the past similar to this one and they all turn out to be garbage because why would people need invest in it when there's no demand for it? To be honest, I only see this coin as another hype coin that focuses on burning supplies to create rarity which is stupid in my opinion because we already have Bitcoin and Bitcoin far surpasses this kind of coin.

True that the deflationary thing should be included along with the real use case may take BNB an example which is a deflationary token with real use case within their ecosystem. And stable coins do not have a store of value properties just a stable coin equivalent to the dollar. Will you treat dollar as a store of value it is a value destroyer because of the inflation as it has if we continue to hold just dollars

Not all stable coins are dollars or fiats. We have gold too.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet would rather be a “forgetful old man” on: February 26, 2020, 02:27:08 AM
Hi Everyone,

Recently, people have been giving Warren Buffet some heat because he said he didn't own any crypto, even though he was given some by Justin Sun.

Our take is a little different than everyone else. We think Warren Buffet would simply rather be called a "forgetful old man" than support something he didn't believe in.

Read all our thoughts on the situation.

Let me know if you guys agree or disagree!

Warren Buffett lost my credibility this week, the first factor was the interview where he said:

Quote
"Cryptocurrencies basically have no value, they don't produce anything."

The second factor is about the current markets crash:

Quote
"That's good for us actually — we're a net buyer of stocks over time,"

So, for him, crypto is something without value and having a crashing markets is something good for all, lol.

That's probably how a billionaire like him think. The only thing that I could think of why he is against Bitcoin is that he can't control or predict the flow of the market compared to stocks. You see how most critics of cryptocurrency are those who are either billionaires or investors? because they don't see the technological potential of cryptocurrency. All they see is money.

Now that I think about it, maybe they are trying to scare investors away from Bitcoin in order for them to accumulate more for the future? Maybe they own Bitcoin but isn't making it public.
910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting its steady price? on: February 26, 2020, 02:15:08 AM
is it safe to assume that Bitcoin is probably hitting a capped price(i.e $10k)?

Capped is a pretty naive term especially when you consider how volatile Bitcoin is. We don't even know how large Bitcoin will be capped in. We can go as high as $1,000,000 if fate decides to pull it. Remember how we reach $20,000? Though I don't think that we will reach all-time high soon enough. I'll probably happen this 2021 which is the year of the 4 year cycle bull run.
911  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon to accept bitcoin payments directly... the real breakthrough!? on: February 25, 2020, 02:57:10 PM
Not bad, considering that amazon is one of the leading platform out there but I don't think it will impact Bitcoin too much. I don't see a lot of people using Bitcoin as payment except those who really own Bitcoin. Though it will help with Bitcoin adoption, I rarely see people use Bitcoin for online shopping. Can't imagine people buying Bitcoin just to shop in amazon.
912  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk is racist on: February 25, 2020, 02:22:12 PM
India or Indonesia?

It's not racist, it's just lazy. Instead of moderating the forum they took the easy route and decided to ban certain countries. Spammers will use VPNs and will continue to spam.

That's what I thought too. They didn't solve any issue at all but they instead encourage more spamming from all over the world because of VPN. Yobit signature is done and from the looks of it, I don't think it will last. Once they stop incentivising posters, spams will die down eventually. It sucks that they won't get their payment though.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH on: February 24, 2020, 05:30:35 AM
Is it true? There's a possibility that this is false news since many people wanted to down BTC.

It might result in drastic changes since whales have a great factor in the flow of the cryptocurrency market.

Even if you have expertise in cybersecurity, hackers can get what they want especially if it's a group. That's why it's one of the disadvantages once crypto was adapted to be the main currency or use it as a huge business. One of the results also, people will give negative thoughts about crypto regarding this situation.

We don't know, just take this post with a grain of salt. There's no way people would donate to that guy, he's a millionaire! but pretty clumsy with his security. It's just that if this is true then there's a potential for the market to tank soon when they start selling Bitcoins and BCH. This amount is not a joke, it's pretty huge.

Maybe this was a way to avoid any tax for that huge amount? possible in my opinion.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check Liquidity Before you invest on: February 23, 2020, 10:37:57 AM
Dude, this is literally what I look for when it comes to coins after price. I had this project once where it pump 200% in a single day and as I was planning to sell it, there's just no buyers in it, all were selling at the time. In my opinion, buying a low liquidity coin is like buying a lottery ticket. If it pumps, you win big which rarely happens but when it dump, all your money is gone and it happens most of the time. High risk, low reward in short.

I just want to point out, exchanges plays a really vital role when it comes to liquidity. The liquidity of a coin depends on each exchange and you should all possible exchanges before investing in a coin.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 0.28 bitcoin to be in the 1% of richest bitcoin holder on: February 23, 2020, 07:33:05 AM
Does is matter how much bitcoins a person choose to invest? Why should we pressure people to hold at least X bitcoins, we are forgetting the most important rule of investing - invest only what you can afford to lose. Also, pressuring people into investing "buy now until it's too late, it's your last chance to become a millionaire" will only make Bitcoin look suspicious to outsiders, since its the kind of thing that scammers often say.

Don't take this seriously. Just think of this as a milestone for those people aiming for top 1%. Although it's a lot lower than the past years, it's still considerably difficult to achieve if you are living in a third world country so aiming for 1% and getting it is still a good feeling. It's not like he is hyping or something. It doesn't really mean anything.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: February 22, 2020, 05:07:57 AM
How exactly does this HoweyCoins work to generate "guaranteed profits" for investors? Remember we are talking about cryptocurrency here and everyone knows that basically nothing is guaranteed in the crypto space, especially with respect to gains or profits.

Come on! It is advertised by Theymos, the legendary investor, where legends say he can get you rich in 10 mins just by playing with penny stocks. I already invested $500,000 in here since 2018 but I'm hoping this will make me $50,000,000 at launch. You know, good projects takes a long time to prepare. I hope I get my investments worth so I could finally fund my fathers meth addiction.

Just invest and you'll be rich in this magnificent ICO!
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PAPER WALLET: FISHING VICTIM (sic)..... on: February 22, 2020, 04:23:22 AM
No way. He might have fabricated this story in order to fool the authorities into thinking that he really did lost all of those accounts. I mean we are talking about 55 million here. There's no way that the only way to access it is his fishing rod and he didn't even hid it! Like come on. I'm sure that when he gets out of the radar, those accounts will be accessed and I'm sure he will hid himself in an island or something. The story is just too "fishy" for me (yes, pun intended).
918  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: February 22, 2020, 03:35:55 AM
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOU need to Stop using YOUTUBE! come and check this new platform! on: February 21, 2020, 12:58:12 PM
This is actually pretty interesting. It has potential to grow just like vimeo but I doubt it when it comes to Youtube. I wonder how they will handle advertisement or ad revenue? or they are planning to reward creators and users with just their token? I doubt that it will be enough to compare it to youtube's ad revenue system. Though Youtube is strict and stupid with rules, they still give proper incentives to those who comply.

I just noticed something, there's no option to change quality of video, that's one thing I like about youtube, I could save more data at the cost of lower quality.
920  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Comelec Eyes Mobile App for Voting on: February 21, 2020, 05:13:33 AM
I don't think so. Probably i-outsource nila sa isang reputable na foreign company ung development(though may malaking risk rin to of course). Very risky move to be honest dahil sa nakikita ko ngayon mejo incompetent parin ang IT ng gobyerno.

[1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commission_on_Elections_data_breach

Tama.
Source: https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2019/11/23/1971224/alleged-sea-games-mobile-app-design-hit-amid-ceasefire-call

Anong ginawa nila dito? Kahit yung kaibigan kong fresh from college hindi ganto kapangit gumawa ng mobile app.
