901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Loom network madness on: October 25, 2023, 11:49:22 AM
When there is an upward pump in currencies like these, there will be manipulation in the possibility of withdrawal, especially if trading volumes are low or all of the liquidity is controlled by one party or if the token is listed on two or three exchanges.
Its listed on centralized exchange so Im pretty sure they have enough liquidity on that. Its not like we are trading a shitcoin but this is a Binance listed token where the volume is high and a lot of users trading it. You are right on some point but how can there be a manipulations on withdrawal? We are talking about trading activity not cashing out money. I believe manipulations can be done on this but not this kind of way.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest Presale is coming don't miss on: October 25, 2023, 09:44:13 AM
Since its on Pinksale and their contract is out.  Everyonr is free to check the content of their smart contract by going to Defi platform and used the scanner feature where they will check it and reveal if their code is harmful or safe. Its like a detailed summary of what they already been code. If there are backdoor minting, honeypot or any form of illegal attempt.
903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying at 35k? on: October 25, 2023, 08:50:53 AM
Hallo people,

I bought some bitcoin at 26/27/30 and 31k. all profit so far, I am thinking about buying more, but is 35k te expensive to buy bitcoin?
You can if you think that bitcoin would be worth more in the future. Right now its RSI is quite high and this might suggest a pull back but of course this level suggest too a healthy run for bitcoin so it might start to rise in the coming days and if you add some news on the bitcoin etf approval and related news, it really fuels some hype and bullish sentiment for everyone while also waiting for the bitcoin halving which served as an indicator of bull run like last time.
904  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Scam/Phishing Avalaunch Website on: October 24, 2023, 03:08:51 PM
So there's the red flag here, newly created websites just like the rest of the scam sites.

And then they copy the UI of the real website here: https://avalaunch.app/

This serves another warning for everyone.
Thats bit tricky. Good thing I bookedmarked the real website of avalaunch since I am an investor and user of it. Since the bull run I always used them for new launchpad and now that they are quiet Im not been able to use their platform but thanks for sharing in case I am still active to their project might ignore this and noted these sites.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market warms up, what altcoins can help me rich? on: October 24, 2023, 12:05:55 PM
Bitcoin halving will come in 2024.

Bitcoin will have a big bull run in 2024.

What altcoins can help me rich in 2024 and 2025?

Any idea?
If you are gonna go for altcoins then go for some projects that didnt do any ATH last bull run. For sure these projects are gonna favoured by some of the newest investors who likes a disruptive market condition. Im not sure which one it is but you can use coinmarketcap to analyze the information per project.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on: October 23, 2023, 11:55:01 AM
I run a small business and have customers who want to pay in TruefreedomCoins (TFC)
If you are the business owner you might accept only common coins which are familiar with other merchants already. From the sounds of the coin is obviously a shitcoin, would you accept something like this which you dont know if even have value? Its make sense that you avoid dealing with unfamiliar coins or tokens which seems to be suspicious especially if you are doing business.
907  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First bull run - how to not sell too early? on: October 23, 2023, 11:32:53 AM
Next year will hopefully be the start of the bull run and it will be first for me so just wondering if anyone has any advice/tips on how avoid the temptation and not sell too early?
Well the perfect advise is be contented when you are in great profits already cash out sell it out and dont think if you sell so low. How you lll know its good to sell? I think its a matter of research. We knew the ATH price of such tokens and coin last bull run if ever they surpass it means there will be new ATH now based on charts movement and fundamental analysis if its strong then wait until you are totally satisfied then withdraw there will be series of rally which we cant fully understand how long it will last. Be observant and mindful.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An Existing Pre-Sale that you can recommend Is There a Token That Is Available? on: October 22, 2023, 06:09:17 PM
Hello Bitcointalk, Dear Members, do you know a pre-sale token with solid connections that you can recommend? I'm Thinking About Making an Investment
As of this writing the one I knew of with potential presale is dedotfi. With dozens of users and has working product that are very useful for security. I did invest on this. As of now they have 1.7m raise out of 2.5m and currently 3hrs left for the sale period. Not sure what they will do with the unsold tokens but hoping they could burn it or reallocate for potential airdrop.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Shuts down their Visa Debit Cards in Europe on: October 22, 2023, 10:19:47 AM
Yeah, it was handy, but it was also complex taxation nightmare. I am thinking it's over for binance card. I am certain that they tried everything and this was the end result. Also i think they would have mentioned that they are still negotiating or even optimistic about it if there was a change.
Yes probably it was related to that and we cant forced Binance to continue if theres a consequence to it. Too bad for the people who are fond of using that maybe this can be fixed in the future if both parties can remedy the issue on taxation or any regulation when it comes to digital asset. The only downside is the community who are enjoying the perks of convenience.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which old coin do you prefer? Litecoin or Dogecoin? on: October 22, 2023, 09:15:19 AM
So if I were to choose between the two coins,  I would choose dogecoin still since it has been proven that dogecoin has higher fans and chances of recovery,  compared to litecoin which looks like a copycat of other projects, for me,  dogecoin all the way.
Maybe you are right, but we are talking about technicalities here which one is much convenient and efficient. I cant deny that dogecoin has made a lot of craze last bull run and thats a fact though. Dogecoin is a much contender when it comes to profits since tis founder is super famous but litecoin is also a good and one of the proven coin that has superb tech next to bitcoin and theres a lot of developers prefer that.
911  Other / Meta / Re: As A Bitcointalk Member on: October 21, 2023, 03:24:01 PM
Being a member of this Forum, what are the things that you can say YOU have done for the growth of this Forum aside from posting (which is normal) or fishing out scammers/hackers.
I'd like to know because we do have members that have the title (if I should call it a title) PROMINENT dancing by their name, and I just wonder.
What have they done to own that title?
Is it that they have contributed much on this Forum? What have they done or how can we tell what they have done?
You mean title a unique one? Like the event voting before. I doubt there are specialty about this. Being a user who contributed to a lot of discussion makes him a valued member of the forum regardless of his rank or hierarchy on the users which I doubt have any impact at all. I did shared on my locals some tutorials and even some altcoin related topics preferably retroactive airdrops and bounty before which I think some appreciated. Depends on someone will how they will recognise your effort here. Even tried to share some scam projects on that sections which i believe helped some to avoid with. Probably many shares their experience and contributions on different approaches.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KuCoin Launches Futures 2.0 on: October 21, 2023, 12:36:30 PM
I'm glad, you found my post appreciable, and I also appreciate your feedback. And i think it's very important for the crypto community to stay informed about developments on various exchanges, and KuCoin's progress . Exploring these platforms can open up more opportunities and broaden our trading experiences
Are you a Kucoin user or any sort of representative of them? Or just wanted to share the update? Would like to ask whats the difference before this news maybe they lack all those features that makes them becoming more bold and in the competition. I am into Binance and Bybit when it comes to Future, so any progress from Kucoin might be a good one aside from doing spot there.
913  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Security Should Be Your First Target as a Newbie on: October 21, 2023, 11:33:56 AM
A good newbie should always make sure he is secure from the beginning and its a protocol not for newbies but for everyone. In the real world a lot has been hacked or scammed even though they arent newbies due to what? Carelessness and being bit of hasty isnt it. Its always good to slow down and have sense in doing things. If not sure of something ask first, theres no harm on doing that than making mistake that could haunt you forever.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Shuts down their Visa Debit Cards in Europe on: October 21, 2023, 10:14:38 AM
Yes, that is sad news. I used the card very often for purchases, even stationary ones. The e-mail stated that it affected a small number of people, but apparently they did not want to spread panic. I hope they come back with a new entity.
Thats unfortunate mate. Even my girlfriend who stays there at EU are now worried since she is using the binance card for her stuff there and crypto payment. Isnt that she can used her card now but the convenience binance card giving is really good. Anyway maybe this is temporary and somehow Binance could get it back or fix if there are some issues lies within.
915  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much money can you make by investing in Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2023, 04:04:13 PM
Is investing in Bitcoin easy or complicated? Is it possible to achieve success by investing in Bitcoin? The main thing is how one can earn if he invests in Bitcoin and if he stays for a long time.
Investing is easy but not sure the term achieved you mean profit gains? Its quite hard to say since bitcoin is volatile and theres a chance to go down than your entry price. But if btc continue to pump in the long term then youll make a lot of profits if you trust it so much. Theres a lot of ways to earn bitcoin especially here on forum but thats only a privilege for signature campaign and forum contributor accepted on such campaigns. Also some from services like translation and signature design amd many more.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KuCoin Launches Futures 2.0 on: October 20, 2023, 01:21:25 PM
Well for spot traders this doesnt really mean anything. Never tried Kucoin Futures cause I am more on Binance future due to volume and app intuitive smooth experience.

But I appreciate OP for sharing the development on one of the biggest exchange, at least if ever Binance got a problem we can always rely to other platform like Kucoin. Ive just noticed too they already have p2p already. But never tried it yet.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The zeal to invest in speculative asset on: October 20, 2023, 10:42:16 AM
Investment strategy one implement be it short-term or long-term is channeled for profit maximization. Cryptocurrency on it's own is a solid long-term investment, one which is volatile and unpredictable, which is also a speculative investment. I will say it have outperformed most asset classes in recent years; including stocks, bond, gold, and real estate. Cryptocurrency is the tomorrow of today.
Maybe for some crypto it is a solid investment in long term but not all. Due to popularity there are some altcoins or crypto resorted to scam once they get funds of the investors and leave or let the project died. Lucky for those who bought early with the pioneer coins cause the increase is really big and massive especially for bitcoin. 10years holding with a cheap price and now you could rip billions and millions of money.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is this? on: October 20, 2023, 10:09:35 AM
There are many projects like these out there, and I haven't been interested in such projects for a long time. They simply sell tokens with promises, and investors may end up trading their money for worthless tokens.
Well thats like thousands of projects out there and its inevitable to see these daily. But you could ignore or research is. Sometimes a gold can be found on these but make sure to review all and not just put up money. OP's post about the project is nothing special as Ive reviewed it and sounds very simple and same with previous one. Not sure if its a scam but typically not a project you are gonna go and put some $100 to $1k bucks.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Loom network madness on: October 20, 2023, 08:21:30 AM
Somebody here die on whack pump and dump ride?
Ive witnessed this on a raging pump but didnt bother to join since its pumped a lot already. I dont want to get hyped with the pump and suddenly youll be an exit liquidity which happened on aomw users due to huge crash. Anyway its always good to enter early to some alts with major upside and exit with a good pumped. But catalyst are hard to find which one to pump hard like the loom movement.
920  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can the government acquire all bitcoins either by seizure or purchase? on: October 20, 2023, 06:34:55 AM
Mind you that even if the Bitcoin in a particular address is stolen, the government cannot seize it, unless the address is on a centralized platform, if the address is in a non-custodial wallet like Sparrow and you have the recovery phrase, it cannot be seized. The only thing law enforcement can do is to "flag" the address and declare the coins in it "tainted"
Is that so? Then why "Zhong" btc asset were seized by the Government when proven that he is the criminal or the one stole 50k btc on silk road. Obviously he stored it on a non custodial wallet and as per watching this video on Youtube about documentation on how they apprehend him seems pretty clear that they can as long as they have proof that you are the cuplrit on such incident cause they knew they can seized anything unless someone is proven guilty. Or does your statement depend on the case is what you mean.
