The radeon VII are out and have 16gb HBM memory but are sold out in most countries.

I know they are unavailable, but was wondering if someone has tested any different algo than eth, I'm very curious what this monster could do on CN forks

The mining performance of the Radeon VII is not bad for the fact that there are no optimized drivers and overclocking is not working properly.
In my first tests, I have Ethereum 95.7MH / s (max) and CrytonightV8 2850H / s with SRBMiner 1.6.8 (here I used only stock settings, think here is still the 3000H / s brand fall).
When the Custum Design GPU comes along, it gets even easier and with existing water cooling it gets really crazy
[/quote]

Why 1.6.8, why not any newer version?

According to this post:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.msg49684589#msg49684589

XMR will undergo algo-change earlier than expected. I hope that SRBMiner will be adjusted for new algo change in time...?

Yup, it will.
Just adding Zelerius algo, Conceal algo, Wownero and then the new CNV4.
So much to do.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.7.8 - native algo switching on: February 10, 2019, 05:19:19 PM

also why do you say its not working on webchain when its finding shares, i just checked?
on blockchain, on 18.6.1 too.

real share rate in srbminer very low and not stable.
also check gpu usage. in loudminer stable 100%. in srbminer variable and not full usage gpu. realy check blockchain and 18.6.1 same result

test time 30 min. loudminer 85% of local rate. srbminer 40% local rate ((
check rx 470 4gb and rx550 2 gb card

So it is working but you are not getting the results you would like, so that's why i should remove it from the miner ... ?  Smiley
Just use loudminer if it works for you better.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.7.8 - native algo switching on: February 10, 2019, 01:42:41 PM
new test for webchain coin

loudminer work only with blockchain drivers. with new drivers compute error.
srb miner with new drivers(18.6.1) dont work properly (( possible need remove webchain support in new version

18.6.1 are not new drivers  Grin

your miner work with 18.6.1+ drivers? last new driver for mining 18.6.1 )))

also why do you say its not working on webchain when its finding shares, i just checked?

Looks like GPU 0, which would be a RX470, 4gb card. All the other algos I tested worked fine.
I have 4 other 470s in this rig that are the same.

So that's why it is interesting, if the other cards are same.
Can you try to add --nocache in start.bat ?
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.7.8 - native algo switching on: February 09, 2019, 03:55:57 PM
V1.7.8
- Added new algo 'CN-Gpu' (faster than original implementation in Xmr Stak)
- Much better auto setup on some cards for 'CN-Turtle'
- Added check for last sent share time
- Added aliases for algos, to be more compatible with other miner names
- Prettier stats (when pressing 's')
- Minor bug fixes

+ Ryo will fork soon to CN-Gpu algo
+ Added check for last sent share time, if no share was sent to pool for 30 minutes, miner will restart.
+ To make it easier for everyone, lots of algo name aliases were added, you can now use algo names from Stak, Xmrig, etc... Also you can use coin names, and if an alias exists, it will select the right algo for you.

Examples for "cryptonight_type" :

- tube
- monero
- cryptonight_turtle
- masari

etc..

Also added aliases for Masari, Stellite and Turtle for MoneroOcean, so miner will now switch to those coins.
is there any coin already mining on this algo cn-gpu?
any number for the benchmark cn-gpu?

only testnet : https://tnpool.ryo-currency.com

Working on V177 for the moment.

I've tested several algos and was working on Bittube, running from CMD Line like so..

Code:
--ccryptonighttype bittubev2 --cgpuid 0,1,2,3,4,5 --cgpuintensity 0,0,0,0,0,0 --cgputhreads 2,2,2,2,2,2 --cpool [Server]:[Port] --cwallet [User] --cpassword [Password]

I'm getting the following error:

Error CL_COMPILE_PROGRAM_FAILURE when calling clCompileProgram [ctx->Program] for DeviceID 0 (Thread 0)

I dont understand, you get this on 1.7.8 ?
Which GPU ?

Sorry, no meaning.. I'm currently working/benching on V 1.7.7 -- I didn't see that 178 was out until after I started all my benching.

NP, but im still interested why you get that.
Which GPU can't compile ?

Hi. I have problem with litev7 (only litev7). Other algo works super
SRBMiner v1.7.7 (1.7.6)

[2019-02-05 15:55:03] Warning! Could not connect to a devfee pool for a long time. Please check you firewall/antivirus is not blocking connections. Until then i will take a break.
[2019-02-05 15:55:03] GPU devices disabled!

I change DNS servers to  1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8
does not help anything

thanks

There are 3 pools for litev7 algo, i checked they are all online and miner can connect to them without problem. IDK what could cause the problem at your end.

check power on different algo
same card frequency and power
rx570\rx470 4gb

on tube2
10500 h\s 1185 watt

on fast2
21700 h\s 1405 watt

why?Huh fast2 realy heavy algo as v8?

yes, needs more power.
Turtle needs even more.
The new CN-GPU will need even more, it's crazy like +75% more than heavy algos and +33% more than v8.....

Anyone here got the same problem?
the GPUs are mining and at some moment they are dead  Huh

I checked the hardware, is everything in order....

You could lower the memory clocks for those cards (bus 10,3) by 10-20mhz and see what happens.

Anyone mining Turtle with RX580? what your hash rates?

Auto setup for Ellesmere is not very good in 177, i fixed that in the upcoming version.
You can set it by hand to :

intensity : 104-112
worksize: 8
threads: 2
fragments: 4

Will you be releasing an update with CN-GPU? They will be forking at block 228750 in about 10 days.

Yes in a few days if everything goes well.

you dont need to post everything regarding graft  Smiley
When they decide there will be plenty of time to implement the new pow.

Hello, DOK)
Could you add Algorithm CryptoHello (ULORD coin)?

Sorry but no , this is not a Cryptonight algo.

I am mining Graft coin with your SRBMiner currently.

They are changing their mining algorithm.

Can you add CN/Waltz?

https://github.com/graft-project/GraftNetwork/tree/test/cn_waltz_test

Thank you!

Yes, sure, i will look into it.

For a pool https://pool.webchain.network video card how to write a worker's name
it's about the coin webchain

{
"pools" :
[
   {"pool" : "pool.webchain.network:3333",
    "wallet" : "your-wallet",
    "password" : "x",
    "worker" : "worker-name-here"
    }
]
}

reinstalled the driver and it worked

Always DDU first, and then install new drivers, never install new drivers over old.

hello dok,

since ver 1.7.4 the hashrate on heavy/haven/bittube are broken again. my rx 470/480/570/580 only get 86x, while on version 1.7.3 they can get 11xx.
is there any new config should be added?

Thanks&Regards,
Hin

Don't use old config files.
I have all those cards and they are all hashing the same or better than on 1.7.3. Blockchain driver or 18.5.1, 18.5.2, 18.6.1 all work same good.
Others can also clarify this.
So i guess it's something in your setup, but i can't know what.
Use worksize 8 and dont use fragments 0 , use fragments 1.
