At the end of third day England leading by 264 runs with 6 wickets in hand and Sibley on crease with 85 runs look like its end of test for South Africa and England on driving seat for winning second test and level of series just 70 to 80 runs could be enough for England as fourth inning never been easy for any team to survive with 325+ runs. If South Africa still has players like Amla, Kallis and ABD then i would have given a chance from any situation but the players they have right now even does not have the shadow of these legendary players they had in the past and my bet on South Africa will be lost as England will level the series with the win unless there is some magic  . |

England is turning the table in this test match as they have just lost 2 wickets in 2nd innings for a score of 163 runs and already have a total lead now of 209 runs. England may have around 400 runs lead and batting fourth on this track would put SA under pressure and to chase the score would be more difficult. New Zealand batsmen have to play spectacularly if they wish to upset the Australians which I doubt will happen. The reason i said is that the New Zealand openers are playing really careful defending the good balls and if they are able to continue that for a few session then they can frustrate the Australian bowlers and with the slow pace they are playing it all depends upon how big of a partnership the openers can give and without the presence of Williamson it will be a huge task.

I think that the immediate target for New Zealand would be to end the day without the loss of any wickets. They are 52/0 after 23 overs and they need to survive for another 6 overs. So far both Tom Blundell and Tom Latham have batted brilliantly, showing a lot of patience against the pace triad of Starc/Cummins/Pattinson. They are putting up a good show, despite the absence of almost half of their regular players due to injury and illness.
New Zealand started really well and if they are able to put on a good partnership that could frustrate the Australian bowlers then it will be easier for them to have some advantage in this match, Marnus Labuschagne went on and scored his first double century apart from his performance and Smith none of the players even score half centuries for Australia. |

South Africa was feeling good till 85th overs but after that Rabada ruined the party for his own team, by sticking with his bouncer against the Ollie Pope. 90% of last wicket runs partnership came from Rabada's bouncers in the third man area, Poor choice of deliveries from this fine bowler and big no ball when ollie pope got out was unforgivable. I was not able to watch the last few overs as i stopped watching when Buttler got out and then the wickets started to fall and i never thought they will reach 250 runs but England was able to put some runs on the board for the last wicket which will help them if they are able to bowl well tomorrow. Now England team got some room to catch their breathe and they wouldn't mind fresh start tomorrow morning. if last wicket partnership gets big even 30 runs more, then its a big plus for them. i would say they are very much in the game if they get close to 290 score. As already mentioned Anderson will be facing the first ball and i will not be surprised if South Africa will pick up the wicket in the first over and any runs added to the score is a bonus if not England bowlers will be having a hard time to win a match with a low total on the board and the match depends upon how South Africa is going to play the first innings. |

Completely agreed with what Royse777 posted here. We have two other formats in cricket (for shorter duration games) and therefore it will be better if we leave test cricket as it is. But then, I have to tell something. We will never get to see another player of the caliber of Brian Lara/Sachin Tendulkar or Glenn McGrath/Dale Steyn. These players are most suited for test cricket. Without test cricket, these players would have never become the legends which they are today. I have to disagree with Sachin Tendulkar, he performed well in ODI than in Test matches but he played many match winning innings in Test matches too but when it comes to Lara he played many match winning innings in Test cricket and they would have been legends even without Test matches, Glenn McGrath and Dale Steyn are legendary bowlers but they performed well in the shorter format too |

Looking at this shoulders and muscles for McGregor I cant think of anything else but him using some kind of steroids.
I do hope they will be testing them before the match. It is very difficult to get away from USADA level testing as they might approach you anytime and if you run from them it will be another world wide news that Conor McGregor ran away when they approached them and i am sure he will not go that route, if you put on mass and start working out he will have an increase in mass and you really do not necessarily need steroids to make that change as he was not completely out of shape to reach this body mass. |

I didn't expect that this bet is going to end up as a win.
Tull the last minute I thought it would be a lost. The same case with me, i made a decent bet and on seeing the match i thought i am going to loose the bet and i now think that what he is telling is true because everything changed around at the last minute and it gave plenty of opportunities for everyone to wage a bet till the last minute and i wonder how long it will last. I have seen these kind of last minute turn around and used to wonder and i am also waiting for his next bet. |

Pakistan got individual players who are exceptional cricketers but right now as a team they suck, let's see what future holds for them. The problem with Pakistan is that they are not able to perform consistently and if they are able to perform like they did in the second innings like they did in the past match then they will be a force to recon but most of the time they fail to perform as a team and that is their biggest failure but now they have the players who could perform and hopefully they can show some consistency. I am not sure where all this talk heading but if situation keep continue like this then test cricket future looks dicey. Problem is Test Cricket having hard time adjusting in new era of T-20 (T-10 in the near future). I enjoy good battle between the bat and the ball rather than T20 and we hardly see most of the time but if there is a battle between players then i will enjoy the most and only Test cricket can bring that competition as the shorter version always prefer batsman friendly rules. |
