921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright: A Very Wrong Person on: February 20, 2020, 02:38:53 AM
Jeez. What an obnoxious person. He is the very definition of toxic. So much lies and still can't do anything about the proof yet the court hasn't judge him yet. It's a good news though that he is getting accused of tricking the court and delaying so much. Now he is refusing to submit the documents that the court want because if he do, it's game over for him. I mean, it's not like it will last long now that he doesn't have any more excuse to make except that company bullshit rule.

There's so many CW posts lately that I'm starting to believe he's the one to actually create them. Bad PR is still PR

Wrong. This posts are being made to oppose Craig Wright because finally he is at his weakest right now. He don't have anything because his excuse this past few years is this courier that will decide everything. Now that it's over, he doesn't have anything now. He can only delay because of this company rule that he is using, though it won't last long.

923  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Students on Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency on: February 19, 2020, 05:14:08 AM

924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mail Bombing in exchange of Bitcoin on: February 18, 2020, 01:14:18 PM
It's a little alarming that they would really go that far just to ask for bitcoin.

It's not really about Bitcoin per se. On a fundamental level, they are just trying to extort money. Extortionists have engaged in countless similar schemes intent on extorting cash, like this one. Cases like this just prove the point that bitcoins are increasingly seen as real money now.

You actually have a point there. Bitcoin is increasingly being adopted at an amazing rate since 2017 and some criminals are now seeing the potential of Bitcoin in this kind of scenarios, though it isn't his lucky day because there's no way that the authorities will give to this demand. Just look how crazy what his doing is. What a crazy time we are in right now. I bet they are a group of notorious bombers and the same group who did the bombing in 2015 but different members.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE CEO goes on CNN , attacks Bitcoin on: February 18, 2020, 01:19:50 AM
Free advertisement I guess. He can bash as much as he like but it doesn't really mean that he could do some serious damage to Bitcoin, in fact, he is helping by giving an awareness to those who don't know what Bitcoin is. Though china is controlling the majority of the supply, it doesn't really mean that it will stay that way. There's a graph online that points the increasing spread of Bitcoin supply all over the world in time.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At the end of the year! on: February 17, 2020, 02:55:07 PM
It's probably because some pumps are made at the end of the year or at least before December ends according to Bitcoin history so some analyst are saying this. Though they are "expert", you really can't trust them completely. Just take their word with a grain of salt and just use their analysis to create your own move. Some analyst are good at predicting but you still need to decide on your own.
927  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: MGA DAPAT IWASAN NG MGA NEWBIE(IWAS SCAM) on: February 17, 2020, 12:44:54 AM

928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it correction time? Market down by 8% on: February 16, 2020, 01:15:24 PM
I was wondering the same. As of now, we are still standing at $9,920. An analyst named dave the wave made a pretty accurate prediction back then and are saying that this is just a short term call we should look at the mid-long term. I don't know if this is correction time so I'm at standing by, setting my stop loss at around $9,500. Though I hope that it really is because I'm still short (lol) Or maybe this is just a small another pull back before you go beyond $10,000? I doubt it will be severe though. Just watch the market close for now because anytime it might change drastically in a matter of minutes.

929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: February 16, 2020, 12:48:20 PM
Hey wwzsocki,

After all the exchanges, do you have a withdrawal of 0.001 gold next day from your erc20 address. This is such a trifle, but I do simply don't understand why and what for it was taken. On one hand it looks like a commission for sending btc or eth to a customer.  Or something about rate fluctuations.

This was actually a question that other members are confused about. It was actually answered by the team in the bounty thread. It was a daily fee for holding the token so don't worry because no one is accessing your wallet. https://gold.storage/en/fee

Has anyone experience that after the payment has made, the coins disappear and sent to 0x00000000000000000000000000000000000
address? without even sending it to the address?

Dear akirasendo17,

Answered you in PM. This is a daily fee for holding gold token. The contract automatically take it from your wallet. https://gold.storage/en/fee

930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Earn Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 16, 2020, 12:34:20 AM
Wait are you kidding me? Claim from Bitcoin Faucets? how is that more profitable than bounty hunting? Though in bounty hunting, it's not that safe, at least you won't have to waste your time as much as faucets just to earn cents. How about freelancing? have you consider it?

There are a huge number of opportunities available to capitalize on in today’s market, many of which require little to no experience with cryptocurrencies to benefit from.
To help you make your first steps with Bitcoin investments, we’ve covered the four major ways to easily earn and multiply Bitcoin in 2020.

Gambling, Faucet, Lending, Trading, the author of this article probably doesn't know what he's talking about. He probably ask a select few then deduce that this 4 types are the best when in reality, this are the hardest.

Little to no experience? Easily earn? Multiply Bitcoin especially in 2020? Doubt.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: forgot which wallet, do have numbers on: February 15, 2020, 11:15:33 AM
With just a password its unlikely since he still need the file if it's through MEW.

I meant that if remembering the password is the only issue in case he have the keystone, then he could use something that could brute force it. At least that's what I've heard but I never really try to do it myself. If he doesn't have any of those 3, then it's not his wallet.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Usage Among Merchants Is Up on: February 15, 2020, 03:32:28 AM
This is such a great news. Here in the Philippines, there are stores that are accepting Bitcoin now, they even consider altcoins. There are even restaurants accepting Bitcoin in Mandaluyong. Times are changing so fast and the adoption of Bitcoin is rapidly growing now compared to the last few years. The supports of merchants here is great. I think this is just the beginning
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: forgot which wallet, do have numbers on: February 15, 2020, 03:03:47 AM
If it's only a password then I think you could work something out. First is are you getting a feeling that you make the wallet on myetherwallet? What apps are you using currently and what wallet have you used before? Did you get the private key, keystone, or the 12 word seed?

Try to find if you still have the private key and the 12 word seed. Try using that one that looks like a password to myetherwallet, it might be the privatekey. If you don't have those then btcrecover is your best bet in this situation if you have the keystone. I don't know much about it but I think it brute force password for Bitcoin, I'm not sure about Ethereum.

But if you don't have the any of the 3, then it's not yours.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the 21M BTC supply promise realistic? on: February 14, 2020, 03:46:41 AM
-snip

Both of you make sense but I don't want to side.

First, Physical world and Virtual world is different in a way. Let me give you an example.

A 0.00001 Cookie is basically nothing, you wouldn't even be able to tell or see it unless you use a microscope. It won't even be enough to be considered a food for a body but A 0.00001 of Bitcoin might be enough to buy you a house in the future because the use of cookie is to be food and there's a minimum amount that we should consider before it is even considered as such. One molecule of Cavier is the same, it is food.

Bitcoin's use is to transact which as of now, 0.00001 is alright to do that.

Let's set aside value for now and discuss the use of Bitcoin. Technically, 0.0001 Bitcoin have the same purpose as 1 Bitcoin. You can send, receive, sign, and pretty much do everything with it without having to compromise its real purpose. Now let's talk about cookie and cavier. 0.0001 of them won't have the nutritional value or satisfaction of eating it compared to a whole which defeats the purpose of it being food. You see now? Different things have different use and different limitations. Though we can't say that we can use 0.0000000000001 BTC because that is super absurd.

Let me explain even further.
In Khaos77 argument, there's truth to that but there's a limit. 1 Bitcoin now might have the same price as 0.001 Bitcoin in the future but that doesn't mean we could move decimals so much because let us consider the technicalities of Bitcoin. Sending too little will be considered a dust for example. Dust is a miniscule amount of Bitcoin that miners won't even consider taking which results into transfer not getting confirmed, unless you use LN or built your own mining farm for that purpose which is unrealistic for now (maybe in the future when Bitcoin is $1,000,000,000?) then we have to consider the mining fees and such.

Though we can move denominator in the future due to price influx, moving it too much will have some problems. But let's be open and consider the future.

We have to consider that Bitcoin's price is getting higher. I don't know, maybe in the future we start using Satoshi instead of Bitcoin because of price? Only time will tell. Bitcoin can change.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still staking Bitconnect tokens.. on: February 13, 2020, 12:05:15 PM
Man, just forget about Bitconnect. No one really cares about that scam coin and you won't benefit from holding or at least taking care of that anymore. There's no hope for that so I suggest that you stop caring in that. 114 BBC or 999999 BBC, they are basically the same. I think you are the only one who is staking that unironically.

Maybe you are holding that for the sake of history? Like a collection? I don't know about you but I'm pretty sure that will never get any value.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the 21M BTC supply promise realistic? on: February 13, 2020, 03:13:23 AM
The 21M BTC supply is realistic but the scenario you are saying is not. There's no way that every piece of Bitcoin would be lost forever even in 100000 years. You are right about Bitcoin getting lost but as time goes by, it is getting lesser and lesser. Let's just say in 100000 years it did got lost, the last Satoshi got mishandled and got lost in an unknown wallet, then something will replace Bitcoin and that's reality. Now let's just say that 1M that Satoshi is hiding got distributed somehow to the public, then that's another thousands of years of supply of Bitcoin because we can just move denominator and use Satoshi instead and by that time I think, there's already a huge technological advancement to the point where there's already a better option.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As a Bounty hunter, don't expect too much on: February 12, 2020, 01:17:56 PM
No DYOR. Just get another work and stop bounty hunting.

From my experience, DYOR still works because it increases your confidence and chance to find a good bounty. Not all bounties are scams though, there's still a few which you just need to find. Remember that there are ways to increase that chance by for example, joining bounties from a reputable members of the forum. Bounty hunting is like investing in the market but what you're investing is time, you never know if it will fail or not, you just have to do your own research and if you are feeling confident enough, then invest your time in it.

The problem here is that people are greedy, most who failed are blinded from the fact that you can't get rich here easily. Just like the OP said, they expect too much from those bounties instead of taking what's in front of them.

938  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga Mungkahing Terminong Dapat Nating Malaman Kaugnay sa Seguridad on: February 12, 2020, 04:03:55 AM
Modern day Anastasia case talaga tong manlolokong to.

Good thread tong ginawa mo Debonaire217. Sana maraming newbie ang matuto.
939  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Ditex - cryptocurrency aggregator on: February 11, 2020, 10:47:28 AM
Cooperation with those giant platforms? that's some big word. I haven't heard this project from those "partners" that you are referring to. This is actually my first time hearing this. You have no ANN and there's actually no proof that you are partnered. I've checked faq, about, how it works and it doesn't say anything or proof of partnering with this platforms. I even translated everything that your faq say because it isn't translated to english even if I'm already set to EN.

I might be mistaken but if you can prove that you've sign a partnership or at the very least an agreement that you are partnered with them, then I might consider using this. But if you are just using them just like everyone else, then it's a different story.
940  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price exceeds $10,000 on Feb 10th … on-chain and off-chain growth positive on: February 11, 2020, 10:08:56 AM
The price has already fallen and again below $ 10,000 for bitcoin. Therefore, there will be a lot of news about bitcoins that have reached the mark of $ 10,000, because I think that the price may slightly exceed it, then roll back. Now the main thing is to gain a foothold at the level of 9800-9900.

We are below $9,800 now and it is still falling at the time of writing. Though I'm positive about Bitcoin, there's still a slight chance that what happened in October 2019 might happen this time too where Bitcoin reached $10,000 and still fell $8,000. The halving is near (As my source say, this May) and I hope that this will be the driving force to go beyond $10,000.
