921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello 50000$... on: February 14, 2021, 11:32:44 PM
"Hip! Hip! Hurray!" to those who held their bitcoins till now but I think there are hardly any who did that because every range higher was crucial to scare any hodler to make them sell their coins to the buyers that come under 'institutional' category. Anyway let us wait and welcome for the very awaited price of btc and celebrate it with our family once it crosses over it.

sucks that you discovered the MM just recently, but better late than never

Is MM multi-magic? Even I never knew it before but now aware of it.
Anyway I want to thank Steve for giving me the free bets and a chance to play on Sunday when everyone was busy with their Valentine's (even I was busy, but got some time to play this one).

Quite surprised by the Adkinsbet signature posters who just boarded this thread without even giving Sportsbet a chance to present their point. I understand why they did this (may be because they belong to a competitor that comes under the same 'gambling' category) but what a way to hijack one's thread by asking the users to stop talking 'shit'. Accusing a website before it is actually a proven scam means trying to ruin their reputation.
924  Economy / Economics / Re: Mastercard Bitcoin Global Adoption? on: February 13, 2021, 11:40:29 PM
Mass adoption for btc payments? Now when the fee is huge?
Why will MasterCard let its users pay huge to transact in crypto when they are already processing more than 5000 transactions per second on their own while we need to wait days even after paying >$2 in fee to reserve a place in the nearest block?
925  Economy / Gambling / Re: Luckyfish banning unnecessarily for whatever reason. on: February 13, 2021, 11:28:31 PM
In the early days, we have some casinos that become so popular now already, and they started without a license IMO, but still people trusted them, they risk their money by gambling to their platform, so it's more on the reputation that really matters but since the market has expanded and good competition has been created, license is now necessary in order for site to compete with others.

Licenses are needed only to authenticate how genuine their business is and whether it is actually located at the place which is stated there. People risk their money in all the casinos where they get some freebies or bonuses and they are too lazy to check about any license available on that casino or not. We must boycott websites without license because that is the only way we can stop scams.

If you want to be sure you could send an email through the support email and let them know that steve asked for your sportsbet username so you can receive your freebet. Once the support team reads your message they'll just forward it to Steve.

It's strange that their customer support is not aware of this promotion and asked their promotions team for the same. However, I received a mail from them that they will be checking and let me know about the promotion and more details while I have sent a PM and email to their official support email. Waiting for Steve to come online.

If you look at it that way you could have go back to first days of freebitcoin where you could have made maybe 1 bitcoin in a year if you worked for it, and 50k dollars for a years' work is more than enough for most people, not just third world countries neither, we are talking about the biggest and richest nations in the world, if you live in USA, UK, Germany, France etc etc those places are still fine and great for 50k a year.

<<snip>>

That is right but who knew that those few satoshis collectively will be worth thousands of dollars one day as we were getting more than 2k satoshis and just screwed it up every time we played dice game there. I remember the times when I made 100x out of 20k satoshis which I collected in a day and sold them for just $20 when btc was sub $1000. If I knew it will be worth $1000 one day, I may not have touched my coins and kept them safe.

An important question: Are fees attached to withdrawals now or is Sportsbet itself paying the fees in btc still?
No fees required whenever you withdraw, Sportsbet always cover them and based on my previous withdraw they always use high priority fees.

I checked with their support and they said that there's no withdrawal fees. However, Steve asked me to send him an email with my Sportsbet.io username and he'll credit the 1 mBTC freebet, but didn't mention any email id in the PM, so shall I just reply to his PM? Even asked their support to check if he is online or not, they said he isn't.
929  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: February 13, 2021, 09:54:29 PM
That's exactly what I'm going to do next time, bet with odds a little bit higher than 1.5. My usual strategy - betting with high odds - shouldn't be applied when the bet size was big(and 1 mBTC, $47 currently, was surely a big amount).

So, there won't be any kind of restrictions on the won amount whether we win it at 1.5x or 20x? Will I be allowed to withdraw my profits right after I win them? I know about free bets at Sportsbet but as this bet is getting credited against updating their app, I want to know if there are any conditions attached or I can withdraw immediately after winning the bet?

An important question: Are fees attached to withdrawals now or is Sportsbet itself paying the fees in btc still?
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 08, 2021, 11:09:11 PM
Why not open a petition against them and let everyone from us who are against it, sign it and give a shout to this government?

The concern here is just basically on the team owners or the league as a whole, they should file a petition as they are the ones who are affected here. As a fan, we can watch games as long as there are players playing in the field. The government certainly have reviewed all of these and since the government's function is to serve the majority of people, I think the decision is justified to be the right decision.

Maybe it's time for the league to invest more capital to pay for the the "expenses" in running it, and just look for other kind of sponsorship.

There are many sports which come under the 'illegal' category but they are still allowed in various countries while banned in some major countries. Same way, we are watching the game and the players, but these firms only have those banners, hoardings and players' clothes as their way to advertise their gambling business. And it is pathetic to think and understand that why are the governments interfering in the advertisement sector of these companies?
931  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Company are holding more than 10000 Bitcoin on: February 08, 2021, 10:53:15 PM
It may not be applicable before but they already did especially during pandemic last year, the price of bitcoin now tells it all that many already invested in bitcoin even the big companies. There are already known companies who uses these like paypal , grayscale and etc. The world is different now even in in terms of investing were most stocks affected by the economic problem, many companies finds way to still make their investment work maybe in a better way.

You are right mate as they had been accumulating silently since the pandemic began and prices crashed down quickly. They were worried about where to put their money and crypto started flashing opportunities for them which they grabbed then, and now, they must all be busy partying. Crypto was way underrated before when only retailers were the king of markets, now institutions have taken over and changed the whole picture.
932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much would you say one could realistically make a month trading? on: February 08, 2021, 10:35:16 PM
One of a very few traders know the power of holding, and when it comes to futures trading, I came to know a trader who did 20x in just one day when XRP broke down from its high this year. Leverage was high but that trader managed to short it from an area where it was bound to break down from. If you can find such trades in btc which looks highly possible, you can also make at least 100% profit on your investment monthly with low risk strategy.

Sportsbet announced a new version of their android app through email and there's a sweet 1mb free bet reward just for installing the app.  Cool

<<snip image>>

Hi ralle14, I tried to search for this email but I did not get any as of now. Is it limited to specifically chosen players or are they crediting this to each player? Am I eligible to get this freebet if I update the app straight through the website or should I wait for their mail to arrive in my inbox?
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 08, 2021, 09:50:22 PM
Obviously against the government for this because they are just taking away almost everything out of the hands of their citizens and this is not the case here alone but I have been hearing such news daily from different countries. I think it is time to show these governments that they are elected by us not to make us their slaves and rule us like they are kings. Why not open a petition against them and let everyone from us who are against it, sign it and give a shout to this government?

the wait will not be that far. it will be this coming march already. from this wheel of fortune, the highest that i got so far was 5k RP & 5K sats. no one has gotten yet the rolex or iPhone12. i understand there were some who got golden tickets. but these top 2 coveted prizes, none so far afaik. waiting for someone to post that he got one of these top prizes though... Grin

It's not easy for anyone winning these two big prizes because after the announcement of the signature campaign for FUN, there had been an immense crowd that entered the FUN markets and pushed the price higher to make it more expensive for those buying through freebitcoin.

now we have something to look forward to with these FUN tokens...freebitco is really trying to keep up the interest of the gambling community. no wonder they still remain to be one of the popular gambling platforms in the community

Is FUN already been accepted on gambling sites other than freebitcoin? And when they are already available on exchanges, why would I buy them at freebitcoin? Is there anything out of the box being offered to us to pay for a specified lot?
936  Economy / Speculation / Re: HOW LONG WILL THIS BULL RUN LAST ? on: February 08, 2021, 08:38:54 PM
While this is the beginning of institutions entering crypto, it is becoming the institutionalization of crypto and when such groups enter markets, it does not remain the same as it used to be because now, competition is not between the retail traders to move the price, it is between these institutions and they will do anything to add big values of crypto investments to their holdings so not to miss the fomo train that has left the station this year.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Musk Again & Again Tweet for Doge? on: February 08, 2021, 08:28:53 PM
His name is big enough to manipulate any markets and he seems to be testing the crypto community and his followers who are in crypto, whether they are loyal to him or not and will they dive their money into anything he suggests, or not? He has been cleverly playing with the sentiments of investors while also investing in these coins now to boom the crypto industry. While all that he is doing for crypto is good, it is looking worst for an Average Joe investor who will think twice before entering in these pumps as it may give an experience that he may not even think of.

My first tangible win ... Has anyone won more valuable prizes? Since I have an obsessive idea of hodling Fun to get more spins every day ...

I honestly don't consider this a win whenever I get lottery tickets from the wheel of fortune anymore. I rolled a 5000 lottery tickets 2 times in the past, but seeing the top 10 winners having less than even 1000 lotteries win is kind of.. demotivating.

That is luck as it is all the game of luck and even with the least probabilities, some people manage to win very big which surprises me. Playing for fun is fine because we are entertained through it, but taking it seriously will not be good for our health.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon fuels BTC rise 17% DOGE gose 8× on: February 08, 2021, 07:10:38 PM
I told you he is a paranoid character and see, he bought a billion and a half USD worth of btc and showed it off, causing the exchanges to break down due to so many buy orders coming in and many exchanges were unable to handle them. This fomo was even worst than the 2018 price hikes and looks like it has opened the doors for btc to get over 100k in no time if such personalities will publicly release their investments.
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disadvantages of Bitcoin on: February 08, 2021, 06:54:42 PM
I have never seen Bitcoin as disadvantageous in any way to its community and has always returned back what was kept in it taking it as a store of value, for some, it returned way more than what they kept. The number of users who used to talk about crypto 3 years ago has now become ten folds because Bitcoin brought into limelight a new way of transacting between each other.
