921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what kind of projects you'd like to invest on: July 28, 2018, 07:50:09 PM
I wonder what kind of projects you'd like to invest. some projects are not so popular, but they do are good projects, and would have a bright future.
I trust projects that are at least 50% done, I prefer the ones that are associated with payments (some coins with new benefits, e.g. MB8 Coin), drugs and healthcare, AI and, of course, infrastructure. These field are the most demanded, as for me. I also like ICOs in entertainment industry. Top upcoming ICOs within those fields are Ubex, Metabase, One Game and HighVibe.
922  Economy / Economics / Re: To be or not to be. What to invest in? on: July 28, 2018, 06:28:52 PM
Investing in bonds in kind of a relic of the past and here you're not taking less risks, than while investing in cryptocurrencies. You know that bond prices fall as interest rates rise, which isn't that easy to predict. I think if you're a crypto and trading master the chances to find the right coin would be much higher for you, than to find the right company (not to mention that scams are possible). Gold and silver - agree with you here, practically safe choice, low risks in losing money. And real estate due to its longevity becomes more unpredictable. You have to invest a lot (you can't invest 500$, as you do in crypto world) and you have no idea what can happen - a war in the country, estate goes on fire, new competitor on the market, etc. And BTC three times yes, the end justifies the means, even the thing that you mentioned (that BTC daily price fluctuations can go up to 25%) is a great advantage, just think how much you can gain on daily BTC trading if you learn the fluctuations consistent patterns.
923  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io What Is Really Going on? on: July 28, 2018, 02:37:35 PM
Really sound like a scam and the fact that he has locked the thread only proves it now, too bad. I honestly wouldn't think that BetKing would cheat people like that. However, there's the investors' fault too. People either don't know what's the idea of ICO about, or just don't want to see it. It never seemed like they're about to start some large and powerful project, so yes, there was no need in the ICO at all.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano Vs Bitcoin on: July 27, 2018, 03:50:28 PM
If the ETF is not approved it will most probably not be approved for 3 years:
ETH has many many many technical issues that will take more than 2 years to resolve.
The only coin that has the vision, technical team and motivation to take the Number 1 spot is Cardano.
Cardano could potentially save the crypto space from never amounting to anything!
Cardano is Generation 3
Generation one and two failed to put this industry on its feet thus far!
Cardano is a steal at today’s prices

Something that I find really attractive about Cardano is its team of developers - mostly academics and engineers, people of science plus InfoSec experts. They've created a truly sustainable environment to meet the most important users' needs, so I can agree that it's one of the top coins right now with huge (over $4 billion) marketcap. However, this crypto still wasn't able to avoid the red market and has dropped by 86% since January 2018, the price adjustments don't seem that critical because the initial price wasn't that big, so I wouldn't say that ADA has surpassed ETH.
925  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: July 27, 2018, 12:38:08 PM
Well most of us here are already aware of the hacking activities of binance and bancor. They are taking practical measures to track down the culprits but the question on my mind is why could coincidentally both exchanges be hacked? Now it appears that the exchanges are not moving at a faster and innovative ways to upgrading their systems and allow these hackers time to study their systems well, identify the loop holes and cause the problem. In my opinion, exchanges should always move in an unpredictable way so as to always confuse these scammers .The scammers are scaring new investors away and this must stop.Exchanges must be up and doing so that we can attract new investors into cryptocurrency else our efforts are going in vain to attracting new investors.

Cyber attacks do take place, but they aren't that frequent. Just think how many people there are who work for Binance and how many are there hackers out there willing to steal some good money. Also some money losses are users' fault because they don't do some precautionary actions - like don't use the private key to access the wallet, or create mnemonic phrases, even though it is highly recommended. Not to mention that some people are too lazy to even double check the address line to see if it's safe (like it has happened with MEW recently).
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this any way to treat a customer? on: July 27, 2018, 12:20:44 PM
Lolz84,

We’d like to apologise for the level of customer service you received. Regardless of the outcome of the complaint, the agent our end didn’t give you the fun, fast and fair service expected.
We’ve reviewed this internally and upped our training so that no customer will be treated like this again.

Going forward if you do decide to play with us again and have any issues or concerns please PM me and I'll try to get this sorted for you.

Cheers,
Karl
Bitcasino.io
I am little confused right now, this problem was happened before one year but now the support team is asking the apologize, then this is not the right way to do that.

But at that time he said that was a joke promotion so you just ending fake promo code to convince the people to deposit funds on your site?

I believe that the problem was rather about the agent, than about the online casino itself. Some kind of mistake must have happened and the right thing to do in such a situation would be to give those free 40 spins no matter whose mistake it was just to act civilly and avoid conflicts. Maybe after a year some managers and the team in bitcasino have changed, so now they apologise even about the past conflicts, that were caused by the old team members. They've decided to start a sig campaign all of a sudden, I think it means that change is coming.
927  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Techniques of trading in the trend on: July 27, 2018, 11:47:47 AM
Hi, traders! Wink I`d like to ask what techniques of trading on the exchange are in the trend and what of them do you use?

I like the good old moving average trading. Among them I prefer EMA, which is good for coins with typical rapid price changes situations and for fast moving market (not applicable for BTC). Simply determine the uptrend and downtrend lines. As the price goes over the moving average line I buy immediately. When the price goes down below the moving average line I sell. It may be not the most profitable trading technique, as you buy and sell not at the extreme points, but it's the safest one.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep all your bounty coins or you convert some to ETH and BTC? on: July 26, 2018, 06:10:59 PM
I keep them. First of all, a lot of altcoins you get after ICO launches aren't even listed on most of the exchanges. Second of all, I don't know how about you, but the coins I received weren't worth anything. For instance, I got lots of ShiftCash coins, but they all are worth about 1 USD, what's the point in converting them into ETH, to have 0,0021 ETH? On the other hand tokens can increase in price unexpectedly, like it has happened with TTV, and they'll be much more worthy. But, whenever you have a non-popular coin which has suddenly started to increase - I agree that the best thing to do is to sell it off, or convert into top coins, as the chances that such a coin will keep up the price are very low.
929  Economy / Gambling / Re: Luckygames = Rigged? on: July 26, 2018, 04:06:09 PM
Whenever I seem to bet low amounts i win, but when i go high amounts i end up losing everytime, LuckyGames is rigged ?

Yes, it's 100% rigged, you better check trust for online casinos and betting websites here on BTT. Check this link, here you can find the blacklist of online casinos: https://wizardofodds.com/online-gambling/blacklist/
Some of them may be not rigged and are on the list due to rivalries and conflicts (at least it seemed to me like that), but look through the list anyway, don't want to get scammed.
930  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: ✴Limit of IPFS? on: July 26, 2018, 10:06:03 AM
How sustainable is the IPFS concept?

I do not understand how Personal Computers around the World can hold so much IPFS data without limit. Where will the remaining data go if people begin to have their computers filled up with data and they have no incentive to increase their harddrives.

Google data centers for instance can hold so much data from YouTube, GDrive, G+, Gmail, etc because Google has incentive to hold them and keep expanding the data centers.
What incentives are there for participants in the IPFS system to keep holding more & expanding their harddrives?

IPFS is decentralized and works as a content based addressing, more like BitTorrent works. Thus, they face two main problems - free space and around-the-clock accessibility to files. That's why the IPFS team is working on Filecoin. It's like a blockchain on top of IPFS and it will incentivize people to keep files on their harddrives, because they'll get a reward for it. This will not only be a solution to a space problem, but also it will make nodes go online all the time, so that people will have access to files 24/7.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: July 25, 2018, 04:20:32 PM
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.

If all of the fiat money was replaced by digital I think the corruption and criminality would arise. It would be more difficult to track down transactions. No one will know who owes and what money, which might lead to a chaos. How do you expect accountants to do their job, if all they knew about a certain bank account would be a bunch of characters? And, also, if every fiat currency was replaced by digital, but still it would be the government, who regulates the system - then what about all of the alts and BTC, that we use now? Would the governments let people use it then? I don't think so. And what about the taxes? Anyway, I don't think that there's any point in changing all of the fiat money to cryptocurrencies. In such a case - either the whole economics will crash, or cryptocurrencies won't be anonymous and won't have most of the advantages that they carry now anymore.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I am betting on the Mega Millions Lottery – Jackpot over 500$ Million ! on: July 25, 2018, 01:36:56 PM
A lot of people think that if the jackpot has not been hit for a long time then it is time for someone to win it.

A lot of people do think so and that's exactly why they can end up poor and with lots of debts. Especially typical situation when playing dice games 49.1/51.9 people feel like if it's been unlucky for e.g. 6 times in a row - the next one must be it, so they keep multiplying the betting amount and eventually lose everything, because you can have up to 16 unlucky bets in succession and more. My point is - you should always remember that past doesn't influence the probability.

937  Economy / Gambling / Re: Project Bravio on: July 13, 2018, 07:33:29 PM

This isn't just a random dice game or bust before a specific number. Tried and saturated. Envision a pool of funds that people contribute to. The people who pay more have a higher chance of winning. In effect, this a bit like a lottery or a raffle. Just without having to specifically guess a number. The more tickets you buy; the higher chance you have. This is sure to incentivise competition among players which in turns means more revenue for us.

As far as I understand this game basically turns out to be just about the money? Can you, let's say, but 100% of tickets and win? If the difference in the price of the ticket and the prize is big enough it would still make sense. At the same time it would make the game fair. I mean there are so many people, who bet and gamble when they don't have much money just because of the hope to win. With your rules whose people will see their chances to win and won't get involved eventually.
PvP idea sounds great to me, each one will want to invest more to gain more and that's how the game gets more interesting - the prize cost rises, right?
And about working with you - do you consider paying cash, or is it just the % of a profit, that one will get for work?
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win on Horse Racing on: July 13, 2018, 06:36:23 PM
My friend has database of  almost all races from uk and ireland
Price of favorite and wining price on betfair exchange
It works really well
You can still try that free of cost just for following his twitter
You need to have free time if you want to try bet that way
Send me pm if you want to try
I can also give you page what is showing how prices are moving on exchange
With most important 5 min before off
that cost only 6 gbp a month

Ok, do you mean that he knows who will win? How's that possible? And if that is, is that even legal? Or it's just a list of races, participants, etc. What's the point then? Seems like some kind of a scam to me.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: July 11, 2018, 09:58:17 AM
This theory might work for wealthy people, who never feel the need in anything. They, for sure, can play just for fun. But others, whether they want it or not - will have that inside feeling that they can earn a million right here right now and become rich, and this feeling is very difficult to get rid of.

940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience with your first signature campaign? on: July 08, 2018, 09:39:18 AM
A couple of years ago the situation with sig campaigns was different than now, as less people knew about this stuff. You could've posted really low-quality posts and receive high payments. But now, as more and more people are joining the rivalry increases and now you have to post really quality posts to get a decent salary, no shitposting anymore. With your post you must not only express your opinion, but bring up some new information, which wasn't stated before in that topic. A lot of things made the rules strict: too much megathreads, a lot of competitors, SMAS blacklist, merit system and so on. So now you have to try harder.
