921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie in crypto trading on: March 07, 2019, 11:08:58 PM
Hello. I need I suggestion, because I just started trading.
I have a 20 ETC, and I want to trade it, can you suggest me for what to trade it. Maybe even to just hold it?
BTW I have 0.5 ETH. And 200 ELLA, and 100 PIRL(I know that ELLA and PIRL are nothing now, just hodling it.)

Also I want to invest 200$ in crypto right now so you can suggest me something for that too.

PS: I know that this is a Bitcoin forum but I really want to hear oppinion from someone who has experience in crypto world.
See one idea am going to point out to you is don't let anyone determine the market for you, I know you will want to have some advice which will really help out but try to fish out your own ideas and understand them.
I wouldnt touch those 20 ETC, I would keep them. With 0.5 ethereum you can have some fun and learn something about trading. I can only suggest mid and long term trading, get into something and wait some time, month or two before you get the profit. Now when many coins are down its great to start piling up some good coins and wait the end of this year when prices tend to rise more, and maybe you can have some good profit, same like I do, I have more success like that than with day trading.
922  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency companies still can’t open bank accounts on: March 07, 2019, 08:54:08 PM
Despite the increasing legitimate cryptocurrency uses, its continued association with illicit activities and anti-money laundering compliance costs makes banking for cryptocurrency companies hard.
It is strange to see these sort of restrictions even though the crypto market complies with strict know your customer policies and i am not sure why they could not take that as face value when it comes to dealing with them directly and that too from countries that are crypto friendly, may be it is a combined attack from the banking sector to stifle the market so that their long term business policies will not be effected by restricting the crypto market.
Its not like that, this headline should be some cryptocurrency companies still can`t open bank accounts in some banks in some countries. Its not black and white, you have many countries with different laws, with different rules, same for banks. Some are open for blockchain technology, some are closed, why is that so important when we have some big countries are getting into blockchain, when they finish with that all other countries will follow, blockchain will be a global standard.
923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: March 07, 2019, 07:40:36 PM
Hello traders!

I would like to know how you started trading? Any interesting articles,
videos or guides that you found helpful before you started?
Can you share your opinions and experiences please?

Received few thousands of tokens from a bounty for participating in it. I tried selling the concern tokens. There were it clicked why can not i trade with small investment investing on best known coins with good growth trend and volumes. Yes, then i bought 2 ETH to begin with. Started slowly with ETH and XRP then. Now, learned a little and moving with it.

Great way to start, I started without any investment too, my first coins were from faucet, back in the time they had much higher rewards than now. Only later I found out about this forum, build up a rank and started earning and with earning from that I had amazing days of gambling, trading, and what ever is connected with cryptocurrencies. Years later I have money for everything, and I`m still earning on many sides, and spending too.
924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is difficult to rise above the price of $ 4000?? on: March 06, 2019, 05:45:06 PM
Just for your info that on 24th February (last week) the bitcoin price almost touched $4200, unfortunately, its only survive one day.

Yes, I know that but the price of $ 4199 doesn't last for a long time or more than 2 days. Does that include growth? I think it's just a stimulus to attract the attention of crypto users. I don't think prices will continue to grow in the near future, and still need a fairly heavy process. Thank you AhmadM,
You are making it too complicated, price went up, than back down again. Ordinary spike in just normal crypto day, why do you have a need to complicate things. When price touched $4,100 why didnt you sell and buy back again now? You could, like anyone else could, but why you didnt?
If you are serious holder, this or next year doesnt play big role, you will hold no matter what and you will take reward in few years, price swings are good for day traders, i`m not one of them so I dont care a lot about it.
925  Economy / Speculation / Re: The slow 5 days of green ended in less than 5 hrs. on: March 06, 2019, 02:12:17 PM
bitcoin continued to decline. the cow won . I lost $ 100 USD  Angry Angry I was unable to place an order to withdraw it in less than 5 minutes -10 %
why not keep holding?  Indeed the price still holding above 3k and probably will stay until it makes another increase again.  So stop worrying  and  lesson learned. avoid being greedy next time which always invest what amount you can afford to lose to prevent regrets. bear it on your mind mate!
Trading will always play like this if you miss a single hour of your life in this market. We all have different style on making money, maybe he’s a trader and I feel sorry for them. I also believe on the possible profit that we can get when we just hold on bitcoin, its inevitable and profit will happen no matter what. If you can’t take the volatility anymore, then stop trading try to hold.
Some people think its slow, but its not, its that they dont have patience, and thats very important in cryptocurrencies, with bitcoin especially. When I get into some trade and price decline instead going up, I make a decision to hold or to cut loses. It`s not that difficult, if you believe you hold, if you dont believe you sell and you cut loses. I believe in bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies, I never cut loses with coins I believe in, I let them lay somewhere and wait for moment.
926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the coming halving our last hope? on: March 05, 2019, 06:34:59 PM
Halving occur every 4 years, next one is coming close and I`m excited cause of that, like all others here. This is not even close to our last hope, after last halving we waited around a year for bear market, when prices raised a lot, probably something similar will happen again after next halving, and the one in 2024, and after that one, and each time price goes up like after last couple halvings imagine the price of single bitcoin.
927  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we finally in BULL MARKET? on: March 05, 2019, 05:04:49 PM
I don't understand how you guys are expecting a bull run in this tough market phase, economically the market has been under the dump from the past 6month which is a big drawback of crypto history. And people are setting goals for bull run? The value of BTC is not even surpassing 4.5k and how can we expect a bull run.
I had the same questions many times, past and this year more than ever before, every little rise causing people to talk about bull run. When its happen in some time, I believe it will happen, everyone will feel it, it will be all over the internet, television, the one in 2017 caught a lot of attention, next one will have more attention on every media, everyone will hear or see it.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchains are still early! on: March 05, 2019, 04:22:57 PM
Blockchain technology was implemented way back then it was implemented on bitcoin at 2017 so it is literally not new when compared to the technologies were are using like smartphones but applications are blockchain is is not implemented on many places so it looks new to the common people.
You didnt get this topic, moving from one system from another is slow process, it can last very long, how much will last implementing blockchain  in global economy we will see, some people say 5 years, others 20, but I guess we will need to wait to see.
Here the main word is global, globally, not individuals, its about full adoption of blockchain, and I think thats coming.
929  Economy / Economics / Re: Are You The INTELLIGENT Cryptocurrency Investor? on: March 04, 2019, 04:05:38 PM
Short story, a guy invested in bitcoin in 2010, everyone told he is an idiot cause he invested in some imaginary technology, after some time he is a millionaire and intelligent investor. This happened with some other cryptocurrencies too, when you look a big picture I`m sure same happens with investing in anything else, in beginning everyone tells you that you are crazy, after some time it turns to be that you are very intelligent. When you look at the things like that most of the people on this forum are very intelligent investors, they invest time, energy or money into this and this is the future.

933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple vs. Banks? on: February 28, 2019, 08:37:30 AM
Another moment I thought. To be honest, very few people will be sending money by xrp or JM token) Most people that xrp waiting just price dump, and buying it just for speculation) With JP stable coin there will no pumps) So XRP still have a chance)
Yes, they have some chances, but what will come after JP? Some new bank making a new stable token? Things are looking great for ripple only by ripple fans, I don`t see ripple have a great future. I think that this headline is wrong, its not ripple vs banks, ripple is making contracts with banks, they one to help them with transactions, who cares about them. I`m turning myself to decentralized cryptocurrencies, for me thats the future.
934  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: February 27, 2019, 06:53:36 PM
To prevent fraud regulation and laws must be in place in order to checkmate individual from perpetrating fraud, for companies and organization a control mechanism must be in place, organization must ensure a decentralization of portfolio that tends to reduce the power allocated to individual. For cryptocurrency to prevent fraud individual must ensure its own security.
I definitely agree with your opinion mate. Fraud is everywhere and it strikes at any given time. We are all aware of it and I think the only solution for that is regulation. We are tired of government intervention but they are the only one that can stop it though we ourselves may prevent it and the safest thing to do is just be careful. Fraud can be prevented as long as we are aware of what we are doing and will never takes any chances of being a victim.
This is more of social question, why people scam and fraud each others. What mechanisms needs to be created to stop people from cheating? We are tired from governments cause they are the biggest scammers, and how can we have healthy society when the ones who are in charge are the biggest scammers, liars, cheaters? So preventing the fraud needs to be cut from the source, and source are people, we need healthy society and we need to work on that. Blockchain can help us in creating better society, more transparent, where everyone will have a voice, not like now.
935  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: February 27, 2019, 11:32:59 AM
Don't risk being foolish to invest in unclear coins or tokens because it is very risky and can also be a scam. so I still say that bitcoin is still the best thing to invest
existing or old coins always be good choice for us.it has less risk if compared with new projects.moreover investing in any ico , this is not worthed anymore and difficult to earn profits.
I agree that everyone should invest in bitcoin first, it`s how most of us started. But it`s crazy to believe only in bitcoin when there are so many other projects. I think its crazy to tell other people where to invest, when prices start dropping, whats happen in one moment, they will blame you. Everyone should do a quick research about good investments, there are many ways to get to information about coins and tokens, icos, they have official sites, threads, social accounts. And don`t count on fast profit, don`t be greedy, invest in project a give it a time to develop.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans for this year on: February 26, 2019, 07:23:27 PM
Everyone keeps saying 2019 will be profitable for the crypto community... but in life I've had to learn things the hard way.. which makes me always want to look into things in 2 ways no matter the odds

What if 2019 is the beginning of another dump?? What would you do as a investor?? Wait till your portfolio goes to zero?? ... or sell whatever is left of it??

My plans for 2019 are to make good money on those projects that have fallen in price. The growth of the crypto market is inevitable, so I thought, why should not it happen this year. It is with the growth of the crypto market that I pin my hopes on earnings.
I have many tokens, coins, name it as you like, in my possession that fallen a lot in terms of price. You cant run from that if you have connections with many projects or you are trying to participate in most of them. Simply its risk we have to take, one good project chosen can replace many lost projects. My plan for the future is simple, have more cryptocurrencies, have more bitcoins, have more ethereums. anyone here will tell you the same thing, little difference can be in list of coins.
937  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Btcoin Get Back To $20k up ? on: February 26, 2019, 10:16:55 AM
Since 2017 after bitcoin got its all time highest, the  market has kept it down and there has been no real sign of going up again, but when will it get back to its all time highest?
No one knows honestly if someone knows it, they could be rich by that time then because they were the one who will dump on the market first. Why is that someone is so excited to know or to reach Bitcoin at $20k again? What would you do if the market would hit $20k then? Probably most of you will just dump it all on the market and no plan of buying it back.
I dont question when will it come, I simply believe in big chances for that to happen. As a gambler I watch everything trough that, you have high and low odds for everything to happen, sometimes you will see impossible things happening, thats bitcoin rise from 0 to here, low chances but happened, now we have much lower odds, cause bitcoin rise is almost certain. I bet on bitcoin like I bet on other things, and for me its going really high, we just need to wait for it and earn some extra coins until that happen.
938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: February 26, 2019, 08:21:14 AM
I could not succeed as well in day trading. Did analyze, spend time in learning and invested. But when comes to practice, lot many things to be learnt. Experience will certainly guide you gain profits. Patience is indeed needed. Need to be more proactive and be in a state to either loose or win.
Day trading is not for everyone, it makes a lot of pressure and you need to be very active everyday, like you I didn`t succeed in day trading, I have much more loses than gains, so I stopped. Now I`m longterm traders, I wait for my trades for a long time, I`m buying in bottoms and than I wait for 100% rise or more, and until that`s happen I dont sell. I have very good success, 2017 was my year, 2018 not so much, but we will see about this year.

940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: February 25, 2019, 10:37:06 AM
Why waste your time on it? If there are many more simple and interesting ways to get cryptocurrency. I think in games there is no sense in making cryptocurrency.
Games are funny and interesting, and if you can earn some money with playing I say why not? My first digibytes were earned on playing LoL, I still playing LoL, but I earn digibytes in other ways, I just wanted to say how this played for me, I fall in love for a game and coin since than.
Now I`m playing drugwars for steems, I`m building my empire, we will see how will that work.
