941  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden do even bigger stimulus on: February 08, 2021, 05:51:13 PM
People don't think about the long-term impact, when they get their welfare cheques. Anyway, most of the stimulus funds are going to end up with the big corporates (similar to what happened after the 2008-09 recession). The only difference is that the entire debt burden is added to the future generations, while the corporates don't have to pay back any of that money. The common people will suffer from the devaluation of their assets as well. As the governments print banknotes like crazy, the value of bank deposits and other assets will go down proportionately.

Are the Americans capable enough to go out and ask their government for the breakdown of all the stimulus they have sent and cross-verify it till the whole balance sheet tallies? Impossible. So wherever it will go, it will depend on the interest of people who will be the deciding factor for buying btc because it is too high and now looking favorable for institutions only, and I think they will not FOMO in.
942  Economy / Gambling / Re: Luckyfish banning unnecessarily for whatever reason. on: February 08, 2021, 05:33:19 PM
What I'm sure of is that there are gambling sites whose chat boxes are strictly monitored for spams. And one-liner messages such as 'good luck', 'congratulations', etc are considered spams by many of them.

Yes, there is nothing serious indeed. That was just a temporary ban on the chat box. No money lost. OP has learned his lesson about the rules of the site as far as its chat box is concerned. It is his decision to stick to the site or not. There are so many options out there.

Even if the website's chat has strict rules, they should give a welcome message stating what kind of messages are allowed and which ones are not. If Op might have fought on some point or abused, then it is acceptable that they were banned but asking Good luck to everyone should not bother the chat unless it is said more than once. I am not arguing but I have been a part of many gambling websites where I get warned before getting muted, or get a welcome message where they mention everything and ask us to read before beginning to use their chat.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Super Bowl LV winner is... on: February 07, 2021, 11:09:46 PM
Going to watch the game to see what the SuperBowl game to see excitement is all about.

Buccaneers 28 - 31 Chiefs.

I also made a bet on Chiefs to try my luck there as NFL is a completely different sport for me as I do not follow such sports. I think Pat has got the balls to make the Bucs lose their momentum and then, the game eventually.

Bucs 29 - 33 Chiefs

They have rules for their players to follow, if you did not follow it, then it's just right that you will be ban, however, I believe it's just on the chat, you are not ban in gambling with the site so it's not really a big problem. Also, I think that the ban is just temporary, unless you are doing the same offense over and over again.

Rules to follow? And does any of their rules ask this user not to say 'good luck' to fellow members or he will be banned? This isn't funny bud, but ridiculous at luckyfish's end and I have faced such consequences on another website where an arrogant moderator came out and banned me for nothing, and when I yelled at him for that, he started accusing me of multi-accounting and other accusations which I never committed. Op should quickly leave that site where they are not being respected as a customer.
945  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden do even bigger stimulus on: February 07, 2021, 10:38:04 PM
Lol I don't get where are they getting all these money printing orders from? And when they are doing this, isn't it a debt that is being levied on innocent people's head? When this stimulus circus ends, what will happen? The people who invested in btc today will start pulling out fiat by converting their btc and this will not be good for the price in long term.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: February 07, 2021, 10:07:57 PM
It was a unique site, your gambling is like pegged with USD value and you can withdraw it in any currency, they are like an exchange and gambling site at the same time. I have a good experience with the site though there are some does not have, maybe it's worth a try for newbie too.

Well, I only had one issue at their site and that's they said that their withdrawals are instant but they were always processed in 30 minutes to an hour period, so they seem to be processing them manually but I was good considering their allowance to withdraw in any other crypto. Which bad experiences are you talking about (that others did not have at betnomi)? Can you please share them with me?
947  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - 🏈 🏈 The Big Game Streamed Live!! 🏈 🏈 on: February 07, 2021, 09:42:57 PM
But have you noticed that, Currently, it is not possible to withdraw 20$ if your fund remains on BTC or ETH? Maybe the minimum withdrawal amount is $30+ now, So you can't withdraw $20.
If stake gives us an option to swap our funds to other altcoins then it will be better and we will be able to withdraw a lower amount.

I used the number as an example to show that I will be paying more than 35% in fee to receive the funds.

Personally, I think that there should be fixed A: Low, Medium and high fees and users will choose how quickly they want to withdraw or B - Set satoshi/bytes fees manually.

Best proposal, even better than mine because I have seen this implemented already over many websites I have played at. Allowing us to choose the fee values will surely save us from getting charged too high when we need funds in emergency.

It becomes too costly when I just have $20 to withdraw and the fee is worth more than $7.5, I will get almost nothing on my hands.
You don't have to withdraw your funds when the mempool is full and there are tens of thousands of unconfirmed transactions. Just hold on to your funds a few days. Use weekends for withdrawals for example.

When times are bad and situation is out of control, we need money. That is when I withdraw and if I do, fee does matter to me in different sense based on how quickly/slowly I want the funds in my pocket. Even if I hold, btc won't. If today, the price of btc is $40k and I wait till weekend when we see unnecessary dumps in price where even 10-15% dumps are seen, I will have a 10-15% cut in USD value which is not a good thing in my opinion.
948  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Crypto.Games ⭐ Biggest wagering contest...150k$ ⭐ Bitcoin Lightning Network ⭐ on: February 07, 2021, 09:26:40 PM
Another BLACKJACK challenge starts Monday at 00.00 UTC. Prizes are up to 14 mBTC, depending on number of participants.
What is the minimum bet for this competition? If it is not something big, I will take part in this and try to win it. If there is a tie between two users who may claim at the same time with all the type of winning bets mentioned on the thread, who will count as the winner? Is it going to be a first win, first winner based competition?
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon fuels BTC rise 17% DOGE gose 8× on: February 07, 2021, 08:49:30 PM
Elon Musk seems like a paranoid character nowadays when he is trying to play with people's minds and he thinks that every name that he will display in his bio will skyrocket just like his company Tesla's stocks. I would enter the markets with much precautions because it is someone's opinion we are going to follow and it is not necessary that we will gain something in the long run. Doge took years to see that range and it fell down back to 70 sats, these are some retailers playing big games to trap us.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: February 07, 2021, 08:34:09 PM
Stake is an awesome place where almost all games of different categories are available, from dice to live casino (and sportsbetting too but you are not interested in it). Same experience can be gained through betnomi too but you will see USD values over there, but you get an advantage of depositing in any cryptocurrency while withdrawing in different crypto is also allowed so if you are looking to save fees while gambling, you should also check out betnomi.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What has been your longest streak of dice losses using martingale ..? on: February 07, 2021, 07:54:31 PM
I once had 12 btc on my account at primedice (very old days) and managed to double it. Then I don't know what happened to my mind and I suddenly changed it to auto, where I kept the base bet at 125 sats and did martingale, I got a long losing streak of 24 bets which ate my 21 btc and left me with just 3 btc and I lost them too by manually gambling and trying to recover the loss.  Cry

As far as I know, they just cut the next block fees, So that your transaction is mined on the next block, maybe it will take less than 10 minutes to be confirmed.

I'm aware that they do not take any cuts from the fee and spend everything based on the price, but if the average fee price will spike to a lot higher, will stake allow us to exchange our btc to some other altcoins available there to save on fees? It becomes too costly when I just have $20 to withdraw and the fee is worth more than $7.5, I will get almost nothing on my hands.

I checked the site few days back (a week ago IIRC) when they were charging 0.0001 btc in fee for withdrawal, it changed to 0.0003 btc 3 days ago and is 0.0002 btc right now. Is there a dynamic structure in place which changes the fee according to the price of btc or is it based on the minimum that is required to get included in a block soon?

I agree with you but Freebitcoin has to be careful with families. Oftentimes "families" are just one single cheater in reality...  Undecided

Agreed because then people will even start misusing the perks the best of their advantage and will cause enough losses to the site in terms of possible fees they are currently making. I am worried how negotiating people have become when they make such 'offers' thinking to give advantage to good people.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top coins to pay at online casino. on: February 01, 2021, 08:39:06 PM
Why no TRX or XRP here? I have seen both of them on many sportsbetting websites and also use them many times as I keep my coins only till I gamble and once I'm done, I withdraw them and sell them immediately because I don't trust any altcoins to remain intact on their price for so long, especially now when btc is skyrocketing so alts may show some negatives in their values.

I don't know why but I'm in love with that 'Cutie Cat Crazy Chicken Shooter' game by Gamomat. Thank you Stake for bringing such exciting new games and giving us the opportunity to play them at your platform. I am currently testing all the games in their demo and liked this one so much that I will deposit some soon to play it.

Yes, this is part of technical issue. If you're a VIP member, you can get the immediate clarification of issue through the VIP host provided by stake on telegram.

Glad that I didn't face such issue as of yet. Is it limited to the sportsbetting area or for casino bets too? However, I play more in the casino part so if sportsbettors are mostly hit by this technical issue, then I guess I will need to place some bets myself to check if I'm also going to experience the same or not.

959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: too much gas on uniswap on: January 31, 2021, 06:19:39 PM
is there any way to fix this lower gas fees or get the coins in a different manner
Spending so much fees on trades is not workable for me or other smaller traders/investors
Any ideas of what I can do

You cannot do anything unless the lowest gwei that you need to pay reaches the level you paid at, else it will never confirm because big organizations are paying much higher to get their transactions confirmed due to highly stuck network, this is keeping the fees high and competition stiff. I am scared myself seeing such high fees that I need to pay to move a token that is not even worth the fee.  Undecided
