941  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Websites like BSpin.io ? on: April 03, 2023, 05:01:51 PM
From my experience, the site with the best faucet is wintomato.com because you can claim it for each coin they have, and they use like 10 coins, so, is nice. But the problem is that if you only play with faucet money they will block your account and tag you as faucet abuser, and they even have some rains in the chat but for that you need to be lvl 2. But again, if you only play with the rains they will block your account for abuse. So, is a double-edged sword.

If you want to use a faucet that you can get prizes each hour I would recommend: https://freebitcoins.com/faucet/

That one let us claim multiple coins too.

943  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A tor-enabled online marketplace where users can buy/sell watches using Bitcoin on: April 02, 2023, 08:53:35 PM
I see you made a repost of the same topic, and the right way is to do a bump of the old one, that way you can keep the conversation in the same thread.

I have some questions about your project.

Why do you use TOR? there is no reason to hide a legit service and is no sense to use tor if the buyer has to give their real address to get the watch.

And another point is, if I pay for a watch on your site, how I know that I will not get scammed? i mean maybe I get a fake Rolex.

I mean, a service like this is a high risk for the customers and from my point of view, there is a high risk on the customer side to lose their money.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 02, 2023, 08:02:57 PM
I am just curious about how does online casino pay for their promotion on their influencers? Where does their earning comes from? How will you get scammed when you try online casino? How can you tell that online casino is safe?

It's interesting to see how a one liner topic determined such a long debate here.

True, is a great topic to discuss because he is referring to the casinos as if they were cheating on users, and that's a hot affirmation that we know it's wrong.

Casinos get the money from the user's bets, that's nothing hard to understand and if people ask themself why the casinos win, is because there is a house edge, which means numbers are in the casino's side and they will win in the long run.

But there is something important to mention here, when a user makes a deposit to a casino, that's not the user's money anymore, and it can be sized by the casino if they decide, and this is very important to have in mind.
945  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this is right idea to start? on: April 02, 2023, 07:41:20 PM
...

first of all, you need to have a goal clear to move in that direction, make yourself the question: What do I want to develop? And when you have the answer then you will know where to start your coding journey.

Let's say you want to develop a casino, then divide the project by blocks and work on each of them in an individual way, one block would be the games, another block could be the withdrawals and deposits, and another block would be the user's account. And once you have all the blocks put them together.

Is important to have clear that Coiding is different than Blockchain, Sockets and DataBases. There is a lot to learn for a crypto project, and HTML5 is just the tip of the iceberg.

Its amazing how people in poker idolize AK. It's a draw hand folks, not an auto all in. Anyways out 9th with KK losing to an auto allin with AK. I think I will save myself 40$ and sit out the rest of the way. Good luck guys.

^^^
Yes i'm complaining. I always lose in these spots and it's pretty gross. Add in the million disconnects and the aggravation isn't worth it.

What a hand my friend, I lose half of my stack with KK vs A's... I didn't think darxiaomi had the as, and after that, I had top pair with J as kicker and darxiaomi take me out with the same top pair but with A's as the kicker.  And even if I lose I had a lot of fun with him, I was even joking in the chat about putting a price on his KO and stuff like that, and for me it was about having a nice time with the community.

But I got your point guys, for $20 buy-in people don't take it that seriously, I could debate if AK is a hand to go all in, from my point of view yes it is(¹). And feels bad to lose with KK, but that's how poker works. I hope we have better luck this time.

947  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Cada vez uso menos Bitcoin y mas Altcoins. on: April 02, 2023, 06:40:46 PM

¿Has probado usar LN?

15 minutes to go and we are at 12.

Total of 13 players.

13 and the late registration is closed now, let's see how it goes, I hope to do a better job this time, in the past tourney I got out in last place, so, this time I will not Yolo and play it smart.

Even with 13 players the prize pool isn't bad at all, we are talking about $260 divided for the first 3 places, the first one gets 50% the second one 30% and the 3rd 20%. So, let's chase those spots.

Good luck guys, may the ases be with you!
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies on: April 02, 2023, 05:42:27 PM
Question:
How do Bitcoin and its blockchain actually work?

The real question here is:

Do we need to understand how it works to use it?

And the answer is "NO", just like your car engine, you don't ned to understand how the fuel becomes movements, you only need to know how to start it and drive it. And the same happens with Cryptos, people only need to understand how to send, receive and back up their address, that's all. The technical side is not a must for use it.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: April 02, 2023, 02:46:24 PM
Someone who is addicted to gambling to the extent that he sells assets or property just to gamble is very difficult to recover from, even doctors or psychologists will not be able to cure him.
If he can recover, he will not recover completely but rather forget about gambling and when in his daily life he still sees gambling activities he can easily return to gambling and become an addict again.

Gambling addiction must be treated as any other addiction, the first step is to realize that there is a problem, then talk about the problem and the last step is to work on a solution, but most of gambling addicts are chasing looses on the long road, and that never has a happy end.

Betting back to the topic, I don't think is the same, chasing losses is different, and the fact that someone says "I will be betting until win" is a risky move because bad streaks can be really bad and lead to a huge loss.
951  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duckdice.io Fake Trustpilot Reviews on: April 01, 2023, 10:04:28 PM
Now you have to make a negative post in trust pilot for that site because they didn't pay you for all the positive posts you make about them on trust pilot, that's fun as hell.

Trust pilot is a good reference to know if we can trust a site, and is known that some sites pay to get a positive reputation, that's not new at all. And before blaming Duckdice for their fake trust pilot reviews you should realize that you were doing something bad too. Because you are selling the reputation for some cash and that isn't ethical at all.

953  Local / Español (Spanish) / Cada vez uso menos Bitcoin y mas Altcoins. on: March 30, 2023, 11:36:30 PM

954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 30, 2023, 11:29:14 PM
They have the name Skill added to it but I don't see any skill can be applied on the slot to win the game, its just another round of spin so the chance matters here so its still zero skill and pure luck when it comes to slot. I think they use it to trick players by giving an extra round where the results are still going to be random and no skill to be applied with it.

Skill is something you applied based on your study to come out with the desired results I don't see it here it's still random you still have to rely on luck so where is skill comes to play here, I cannot imagine luck-based games turning into skill-based games, with players employing a consistent method to win, because luck-based games are casinos' bread and butter, will they allow that?
It's a game-changer for the casino industry and it will turn the tide against casinos, the casinos can lose their business.

I'm in the same boat, I don't get clear why they are called skill slots, I mean, the guys who are stronger or faster win versus other guys? or win more on the slot machine? and the answer is no. So, I don't get clear why this is called skill-based slots. These kinds of slots are based on luck, just like the other ones. But the skill is not a fact that will make us win more.

I would like to see Chess slot based, which would be a skill slot, but not a game in that you place the bet and the outcome is the result of a random number.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any casino site offer Ludo game? on: March 30, 2023, 07:57:36 PM
I was searching for casinos with that game, and couldn't find, it. But maybe you would like to play some Live Monopoli, I know isn't the same game but is kind of the style.

The problem with these kinds of games is they are Player Vs Player, and casinos have games that are Player vs The House, that's the right way that casinos to make a profit. Some casinos offer some player VS player games like Poker, and they win a small amount for each hand played. But if we compare that amount of money with the one they made from Slots is too low, it doesn't even worth it.

I will keep searching and if I have a site that offers Ludo then i will let you know.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot Tournaments - Ever Heard of it? on: March 30, 2023, 02:38:47 PM
Slot tournament involves slot players who are playing between themselves to see who can win the most coins1. Winner of the competition is determined by the person who wins the most number of coins.

I have seen slots "Tournamentes" where the users need to chase X multiplier, but I have never seen a tournament to see who wins more coins. and is a weird competition for me because it's a game of 100% luck and zero skills. If the users want to martingale then they will lose, because the right way to win this is with max bets and with all the luck.

I will chase one of these Slot tournaments, would be nice to join the free roll one. Sounds like a fun event and maybe more casinos start doing them from now.

Some people said that selling off your properties for any reason sake is bad unless its an emergency, well I say, selling some part of my land is an emergency for me to grab some more Bitcoin, I feel like 2023 is going to be an incredible year for Bitcoin investors, I could get some more lands in 2024 or when Bitcoin makes a new ATH, what do you guys think? A stupid decision or a brilliant one? How will you take this?

Also share me what you have sold this year to buy some Bitcoin, we will still be here in 2025 and I can't wait to share my incredible success story on the forum, Bitcoin loading, 100% acquired.

What are you doing to get yours? Let's talk

I think it's a great idea to sell lands to buy bitcoin, I mean, while more we invest then more we win, that's the right way to make a ton of money. But on another hand, I take a look at the markets and have mixed feelings... Are we late for the party? I mean, bitcoin was at $16,500 at the start of the year and already hit $28,400. The ones who believe in the coins already made close to 90% profit this year. And I don't know if it will go up or down from now. The market is in a complex situation right now.

So, I think is a wise move to invest in bitcoin now, but it would be better to invest at the start of the year.

960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixing is NOT money laundering, per se on: March 29, 2023, 12:53:56 AM
Many would assume that once a person is trying to be private then something is fishy, this has been the stigma placed on Crypto-currency that all of its users are either scammers or launderers.

Mixing is not a Crime until the person engaging in the Crypto-currency mixing is found guilty. Anyone can want to engage the services of a mixer for anonymous reasons and to protect their privacy.
This is what I've been saying, the mere act of mixing is not crime, Mixers are not criminal dens that brood these scammers and scums of the planet where they can easily trick people and get away with it.

I agree with you guys, Mixing is not money laundering, and Mixing is not a crime by itself.

But the problem here is the people who use these mixing services, 95% of them use it because we get those coins from an illicit source, and they need a way to wash those coins, that's why they use a service like that. And that's the main problem with the mixers.

And is important to remind you that using this kind of service isn't free, so, people pay to hide the source of their coins. So, science it has a cost then is something that people will not do just for fun.
