This has always been the statement both when the boys play and now the girls too, it's always 'what a team' we don't capitalized on opportunity to take the leads in games and win them. So was it only defending the girls planned for the england game and if it was only to be defending, didn't they know that it'll take them to penalty shootout so they needed to practice for the shootouts as well and not come out to carry our hopes up and just let us down at the last minutes. Having 20 shots and just two been on target tells you have poor the girls are, going forward. England had just 12 and they got 4 on target. We couldn't capitalized on a 10 woman team to win the game.


They'll have to explain for a very long time because there's no evidence they were in the tournament and as good as people are praising them to be, holding england to a draw and them still winning the game isn't an accomplishment. They'll be playing against France later today and I wish them luck because they'll need it as the France women team are very good. African teams both in the man national team and that of the women needs to stand up and prove they deserved to be in the conversation of world title winners.

Chelsea impressed me the most and that's not just because I'm a fan of the club but from the way Pochettino has made them to play in the preseason, I'm very confident that they can go on to compete for the title against Arsenal and Manchester city. Manchester city won't be in their best form because they have altered their squad players and by letting go of some big players in the team last season. They'll feel the impact of that chance no matter how good the remaining players will play. Some players already mastered their roles but the new players will have to start getting use to their position and by then other clubs might have take advantage of this to take better position in winning the league.


Manchester united is very clear they can't compete for the title and that's because of the type of goal keeper they went to buy. He has many mistakes just waiting to happen like we saw in the preseason game against Liverpool that he conceded from the half way line and that's because he wasn't in his goal post like other keepers used to. When a keeper wants to get involved in the game play, it works better when the team are good in possession of the ball and not as bad as Manchester united are. They don't have a defends to protect the keeper when mistakes like that happens and that's why they don't look favorite to me.

Joao felix performed moderately at Chelsea last season but because majority of the players were having a bad season it then looked like he was that good but he wasn't. If he impressed Pochettino at Chelsea, he would had kept him but he has analyzed his game and he didn't impressed him that's why he let him go before resuming the job officially as the head coach of Chelsea. Pochettino couldn't have worked with Joao felix style of playing and he knew that which is why I love Pochettino with all the decisions he has taken since accepting the job offer to coach Chelsea.


Chelsey are showing signs of desperation and the Brighton teams has noticed this that's why they're insisting on their initial offer. Chelsea aren't showing the Brighton team that they'll be willing to pull off the deal if their demand isn't been considered but only getting rejected and sometimes it looks automatic (the rejection).  I thought Chelsea had one of the best negotiators at the movement, what are they doing that the Brighton side is messing with the heads. If they can't get the Brighton side to lower their demand, they should move on to other options available in the market.

This could be the first trophy Ronaldo will win at Al Nassr and it mightn't be upto 1 year he has played for the club.


At Bayern Munich, Sadio mane was just like another star there (so obviously nobody will give him attention and respect) unlike how he was at Liverpool (which he was the one of the best duo of the club after Mo Salah). At Al Nassr he's going to be another superstar and if things goes well for him then he'll be one of the best duo there as well as Cristiano Ronaldo pairs with him to dominate the league. Al Nassr this season looks very strong and connected than last season. They'll be winning something with this square they have at the moment and Sadio mane will be a big part of the teams victory this season.

I kind of feel like Harry Kane deserved all that he's receiving because you can't eat your cake and have it back, when he was at his prime I remember big clubs coming for him and he decided to stay at Tottenham Hotspur, you don't show loyal to clubs this days anymore because they won't return the favor to you when you need it. Football is now about what is best for you and the money and not about about loyalty anymore because you can give a team all your best days and immediately you begin to experiment some bad days, they'll let go of you like you were never important to them and look for the next best thing to replace you.

Assuming he forced his way out of the club at the right time he would had won something, if I'm not mistaking at a time I remember big clubs wanted to sign him but he rejected the offer because I don't think any club can hold a player back from leaving if the player has made up his mind on leaving. No amount of money or benefits can keep a top player like Harry Kane. But he wanted to stay and look at where it has landed him. Harry Kane should force his way out of the club, they can't win him any major trophy (not the champions league or the premier league).

It wasn't the bond that was the problems, we didn't see any disagreement between the players on or off the field so the bond couldn't have been the problem. Pochettino isn't new to coaching and neither is he new to coaching in the premier league. Are we forgetting how well he carried Tottenham Hotspur over the years without much investment into the club and they always finished top 4 and qualifying for European football. He wasn't given the players he wanted at Tottenham Hotspur because of their lack of spending but at Chelsea he'll be getting the support of the owners because them they're not shame in spending. We can see how much Todd Boehly spend last window so when it some to giving Pochettino who he wants, provided it's in our budget Todd Boehly won't hesitant to get him his man. The problem of Chelsea was a good coach and now we have solved that problem.

Chelsea might had just shot themselves on the leg because rumour has it that Ugochukwu was the intended replacement for Caicedo by Brighton if a deal finally gets reached between the two clubs. I'm with Pochettino on this this, we already have too many youngsters in the team and they'll be giving starting position so we don't need more young players but experience ones will be great so Chelsea hurry to sign Caicedo or go with other options that's been linked to the club.


Mbappe should just go to Saudi for the one year and return back to Europe through his agreement with Real Madrid (since he has already agreed to play for the club in 2024 as reported by numerous media and suspected by PSG). He has already stayed in PSG for August so he's eligible for his loyalty bonus. Now he should just go get the bag and return to real football next season. Chelsea doesn't need him if he's just going to leave us after one year. We can't build the club around him and he just leave us to dry. Todd Boehly should stop chasing after him unless he's just using him as clout to attract other players to the club. There's too much attention on Mbappe and that's won't be nice on a footballing level for the club.

Ronaldo needs assistance and that's what mane will be providing for him but he also needs a winger that's good at crossing the ball form the right wing. I don't know if the transfer window is over for the SPL but if it isn't then Al Nassr should go and look for a similar talent like Hakim Ziyech and sign him.


If not for anything, for the money mane made the best decision and just like he made the best decision to leave Liverpool's because he wasn't been appreciated their he has made the right decision again because he landed in a team that doesn't suit him. With the money he'll be paid in Saudi Arabia he can help his community more as he was helping them turning his village into a city. Sadio mane will be bringing in more attack to the Al Nassr side just as he did when he was playing for Liverpool. If Sadio mane plays half of what he played at Liverpool for Al Nassr, I don't think they'll be having issues winning games and defending from the front because that's the work of Sadio mane, back at Liverpool he was doing all the dirty works that Mo Salah and others couldn't do and since he'll be playing along side with Ronaldo, he'll be helping with the defending and the attacking. If I was their coach this is how I'll lineup the attacks, Sadio mane plays 7 and Talisca plays 10, Ronaldo plus 9 and maybe someone with good crossing legs plays 11.

This is why I was thinking Hakim's deals was going to go through as he would had been playing the 11 role. Let's not start asking for the coach to start giving home grown talent spot yet, maybe if they're winning he can bring them on because this season is going to be a very strong competition in SPL. Aren't you seeing the players other clubs are gathering. Al Nassr needs to put their best players out every game and having mane support Ronaldo with Talisca is going to be be a good collaboration. I don't expect anything less than 40+ goals from the three of them.

Chelsea should have been finding replacement for Kepa and not Mendy, Kepa is going to disappoint us this season as players all know his weak point (shot the ball from outside the penalty box and you have a goal). Kepa is a good keeper but his height is going to cause him to concede lost of goals especially when we play against mid table teams that'll be shooting from outside the penalty box. But nevertheless, I'm happy with the signing as Chelsea needed a keeper as we can't put all our hopes on Kepa, I would had been more happier if we did land Onana but Manchester united got to him.

What's Chelsea business with Brighton that we have just been buying players from the club and now we also gone to take their goal keeper. I hope he and others we might sign from the club won't follow the footsteps of others we signed form the club and haven't lived up to expectations including their head coach that we signed last season Graham Potter. I just hope we can get a keeper that'll be able to compete with Kepa for the No1 shirt. Robert sanchezIs a decent keeper and also has experience in the premier league  so he might just be a great acquisition.
