961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That's my 2020 portfolio, what are you opinions? on: January 31, 2020, 04:11:49 AM
0.5 BTC is a lot for a coin. I suggest that you at least stretch it a little bit more to diversify a lot of altcoins in the market. Maybe 0.1 in XRP 0.2 in Monero and 0.2 in BNB. I really don't like Litecoin right now since it just flew, maybe 0.1 for that and rest to DASH. That's just really the best portfolio I can see with decent returns. If you want, you can also buy KCS (Kucoin) if you like passive income. For stablecoin, maybe add a little bit of GOLD, it is steadily going up right now.
963  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: January 28, 2020, 02:42:56 AM
The movement is pretty good so far. It is growing naturally and slowly than those last few breaks which is just a sudden pump. I don't know much about the current news but a lot of news articles and website are linking Coronavirus and some Jack Dorsey tweet to the sudden breakthrough of Bitcoin price to $9,000. Maybe in the next months, we'll be able to break $10,000
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fraud victim,75, loses £11k in life savings! Secure your BTC just now! on: January 26, 2020, 02:28:14 AM
Classic scammers. They always target elderly people who doesn't have much idea about the current generation. Doesn't she have anyone that takes care of her? Like jeez, 11,000 pounds is a lot of money in my country standard. The worst part here is that she probably doesn't even know what cryptocurrency is, all she know is that, invest, wait, profit which is a too good to be true with returns as high as this.
965  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagdami ng mayroong 1bitcoin on: January 25, 2020, 04:06:59 AM
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Crypto on: January 25, 2020, 03:58:06 AM
I use Bitcoin mostly on prepaid loads and buying game credits. I use a third wallet app for buying what I want. Of course I don't put everything in it, just what I needed. Since Bitcoin is popular here, I also Pay my bills using that app with Bitcoin which is super convenient considering that I don't have to fall in line just to pay everything that I need to pay. Also, sometimes buy some foods and other things using Bitcoin.
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 02:19:15 AM
Philippines is very supported to Bitcoin and milk tea business is booming here too. My sister had a milk tea business too and adding Bitcoin as payment sounds good because there's a lot of Bitcoin owners here in my area. I suggest that you add other common known cryptocurrency too if they requested it instead of just Bitcoin, especially XRP because a lot of Filipino likes XRP because of low fee.
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My funds have been stolen! on: January 24, 2020, 02:06:51 AM
Sorry but your funds was already stolen and you can't retrieve it anymore. Can you remember the software and apps that you have downloaded to your PC?

Let's say that you have been aware of protecting your security all of the time but you probably missed some random apps that you have downloaded and didn't noticed it as you use them.
it becomes very possible if he has used an app that contains a backdoor etc.
maybe this is my suggestion to use premium antivirus which has banking, payment and cryptocurrency protect features as I use it on my device
and to keep it even safer I recommend closing your webcam for secure your password
What kind of antivirus is that?

Even you are activated with premium and best antivirus but if your browsing activity isn't monitored and you keep downloading unfamiliar apps, there's still a chance that you might get a backdoor. Or there is a tendency that you might your wallet info into an unknown sheet or fill up forms.

That's the thing, antivirus only adds a layer of protection for the user, it's the users fault for downloading a shady app and doing dangerous things that could compromise his security. But still, antivirus would still be a great help protecting the users.

My recommended antivirus is just windows defender when you are using windows 10.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My funds have been stolen! on: January 23, 2020, 03:52:06 AM
I'm sorry but it's too late to recover it. That's one of the reason why you store your funds in a hard wallet especially when the funds you are storing are for emergencies like this, like funds that you can't just afford to lose even if Bitcoin dump for a little while.

Since that already happened, you should clean your computer for infections. Probably format it and before assessing important files, download an anti-virus for extra layers of protection.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin SV ‘Genesis’ Hard Fork Cause Another BSV Price Pump? on: January 21, 2020, 02:24:59 PM
Bitcoin SV is currently the most powerful rising coin in the cryptocurrency market, with a steep rise far ahead of the other coins that seem to be Bitcoin SV as the best investment option available today.
However I think that Bitcoin SV is being pumped too much, and this is not a good time to invest in Bitcoin SV. If anyone intends to invest in Bitcoin SV he should probably wait a while, then the price of Bitcoin SV will drop.

Check the market history and you'll see how dumb this pump and scam is. How can you still say that when the only way to increase its price is for their cult leader to make lies and make whales pump it hard?

How can you still support this scamcoin when the its cult leader has been the biggest liar in the whole crypto space? Are you one of those who is betting for that feb 3? What's the point of this genesis when its cult leader gets thrown to jail.

971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the right way to teach them? on: January 21, 2020, 02:13:39 PM
I agree with plvbob0070. A seminar is enough to teach the basics of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Building an academy is just too expensive and you won't last that long even if you have your own job. Maybe seminars weekly in different locations? That way you won't have to worry about any excessive expenses instead just worry about traveling fees and how to invite people.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NEXT] NEXT: A Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Ecosystem on: January 20, 2020, 11:16:33 AM
I like the idea but there's no way that I would put my funds in that scam exchange. Have you guys done your research? You do know that setting an IEO there is like associating yourself with a scammer, right? There's just too many accusations and we as an investor cannot put our funds at risk.

973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which game do you guys play to earn crypto or for fun? on: January 20, 2020, 09:13:15 AM
I prefer games that I don't have to attend to like crypto idle miner, have you heard of it? It's an idle mining game where you mine cryptocurrency to earn exp and compete with the other players weekly to get HORA token. At the moment, it is sitting at around 0.00000061 LTC each token so it basically doesn't have any value at all.

It's particularly new so there's a lot of room for improvement. It doesn't consume any power from my phone since it's just a game/wallet for token. I recommend you check it out if you like idle games where you don't have to do anything but you get stronger as time goes by.
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember Hodlonaut? on: January 20, 2020, 03:38:54 AM
"Reputation" what a word, he is proven to falsify documents to prove his innocence, what reputation he is talking about. Maybe the only reputation is he talking about is his reputation to his members of his cult.

You know what's funny? The fact that we are still talking about him today despite the fact that we (sane people) know he is full of shit. This is what he is after.

The thing here is that if we don't talk about him being full of shit, his scams will just go on. A lot of newbies will suffer because of lack of awareness about this scammer and we all know that there are an increasing population of newbies pouring in into this space and giving them knowledge on what is going on will help lessen the scammers chance to scam others.

975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you prefer to hold for more than a year? on: January 19, 2020, 12:06:26 PM
Bitcoin will be my number one priority. Maybe some of the altcoins like BNB, ETH, LTC, XRP for decent returns and KCS because it gives daily profit. I don't really hold most of my coins in a year because of pump and dump reasons. I'd prefer selling them when I have the chance and buy a different coin then hold them till I get some profit.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we now confirm that he's Faketoshi.? on: January 19, 2020, 11:14:54 AM
The moment he is exposed that he doesn't have access to Satohis forum account and private key, it is already confirmed that he is fake. The only thing that kept him going back to the court is his ability to manipulate documents and statements but once that is expose too, he will surely be put to jail. I wonder what he will do next this Feb 3? because I doubt that this "courier" will give him the key that he want.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No, Bitcoin SV Will Not ‘Run the Internet’ Someday on: January 18, 2020, 01:03:22 PM
There's no way that he will be able to copyright the whitepaper because he will not be able to prove himself. He can't even present a document that is not forged. I'd say that Feb 3 will be the start where faketoshi's lies will be revealed unless he make another excuse to extend his time. There's no way he will be able to get those last keys that he needed.
978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities using Bitcoin today? on: January 18, 2020, 05:52:19 AM
Philippines is one of those countries who largely support cryptocurrency and I heard one of their celebrity (sports) have created his own cryptocurrency which is called PAC Token. I don't know much about it but with him involve in cryptocurrency, there's a high chance that he is using Bitcoin too even though it's not public yet, probably to avoid unnecessary attention.

If you want to know more, there's a news article here pertaining about PAC token here https://cointelegraph.com/news/boxing-legend-manny-pacquiaos-pac-token-set-for-ieo-on-nov-12
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas for a new Bitcoin name? on: January 17, 2020, 02:58:18 PM
Hi All,

I love this community and what it stands for, so im trying to start a new project to make it like Bitcoin but with small differences. So i need ideas for a new name. As this is a community project, i will pick whatever name you guys want, please let me know.

iwillexitscumwhenitgetspopularcoin

The ticker is up to you
What a sarcastic idea you have here.
We still don't know what he can do but it seems that you are already giving accussation like that.

Because that's pretty much like what will happen here. Bitcoin-like cryptocurrency? Why do we need that? Are you kidding me? There's already a lot of cryptocurrency to choose from, we don't really need another one. I can't even see a sliver of professionalism here, how can we trust this? This is most likely will turn into a scam or a failure. 90% of altcoins already proved that and most of them are like this, bunch of shitcoins handled by a nobody who don't even know what he wants to do.
980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still bigger in 2019 from all other Commodities on: January 17, 2020, 03:53:34 AM
It's a good thing that Bitcoin had that kind of return but let's all remember what happened in 2018. Because of that event, almost all of us are able to buy at a good price which then led us to this return. Let's also not forget that Bitcoin is the most volatile of them all which beat almost all the market in the world. Though it's an impressive number, we are still far from all-time high.
