961  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: January 27, 2021, 08:30:20 PM
I am confused with your question, but can tell you that even if you decide to be super rich, you will not become rich overnight because that needs magic or luck. You will need to put your plans into actions by executing them in a proper and timely way to achieve your goals, only then you will reach a higher status and lifestyle in your life.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins/tokens do you think will survive in 2021? on: January 27, 2021, 05:58:24 PM
But we have to buy only good market capitalization coins. Don't invest money in shit coins.

It is not necessary that if a token/coin has high market capitalization, it means it is worth it. If a token with a total supply of 100 billion gets listed on a shit exchange where you see buy orders set at price $0.0001 and sell orders at $0.01 and if just one buy order happens, it will ultimately bring its market cap to 1 billion USD if coinmarketcap has that token listed there. So this is a subject which needs enough of research to invest and find those good tokens which will give better gains.
963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC go down to <$5k again now? on: January 27, 2021, 05:40:08 PM
What was fundamentally different about that period of time to what it is now that would stop us returning to that price point? I'd appreciate any reliable information sources to back up any comments?

Absolutely nothing, instead btc is more prone to getting back to where it started from and even less if an institution decides to take on an exchange to favor their short opportunity which will be followed by other panic sellers (except if btc gets bought by another institution for cheap as that will maintain the price from falling so quick).
964  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 27, 2021, 05:24:01 PM
If that happened the market will experienced extreme downfall, as there are weak holders that will ride down to this institutional investors and create more panic along the way.

This current downfall may take some time, as the emotion coming from those who are new to this chain is very prone of losing their investments, if they are not prepared then it's a big loss for them.

All of us are expecting that btc will recover as quickly as it dropped down, but I had been watching the orders the whole day and it seems that the support is continuously being broken by sellers and if the bulls survive this selloff, then only I can believe that btc will recover and get towards a new ATH or 42k will be this year's ATH.
965  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 27, 2021, 04:47:36 PM
What will happen if that change in SEC doesn't prove to be in favor of crypto?
The worse that can happen if such happens is that Bitcoin will take a momentary fall but it will quickly rise as soon as it goes down. The 2021 bullish trend will cast Bitcoin in good light no matter what negative news that wants to spring up. We had a lot of negative vibes against Bitcoin in 2017 but that didn't stop it from attaining that height. It's the same thing I expect.

We just need one or maybe 2 institutions to get scared with what's going to come and what will be there in their official papers for btc and if that does not help these institutions profit from crypto, they will move their funds elsewhere out of crypto and they will be enough to shake the markets in a few hours just like how btc fell down from 40k to 29k.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most important cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: January 27, 2021, 01:59:04 PM
There are few cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin that will be Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin and so is preferable for me.

Except a dark coin like XMR, all of them look to have gone centralized because of big scale investors who have the capacity to eat up the limited supply. As of price, I think Eth stands a good chance only if institutions decide to shift their money from btc to it and that will not happen so soon because they will need others to join the party and so they are drawing everybody's focus to btc.
967  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 27, 2021, 01:46:28 PM
As biden is planning for a change in SEC I hope this could boost the market in upcoming days and the possibilities are more for a good movement in BTC, share your thoughts.

What will happen if that change in SEC doesn't prove to be in favor of crypto? More better opportunity to buy btc much lower? And swing traders are already taking advantage of how btc is reacting as this is their best time to gain something with quick trades on a daily basis.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And yet another mistreatment on: January 27, 2021, 09:56:22 AM
This happens when they see the cost of their tokens so high that greed inhibits them from doing what they were supposed to do. I never regret for any bounty but feel pity for those who advertised them for 'free' as they did not get anything from the team yet. If you guys are with me, I am interested in forming a way where we will ask the team to first put the desired bounty giveaway tokens to be put under escrow (they can choose any) and then only we as a community will allow them to advertise their project here.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you promote bitcoin if you were Jack Dorsey (twitter's big boss)? on: January 27, 2021, 09:43:30 AM
I'd tweet "Go buy #Bitcoin before it goes out of supply" about it and make it a Pinned tweet, that's the simplest way I can promote Bitcoin through my Twitter profile if I'm Jack Dorsey.

I do not think btc is destitute to any promotion as it is already in many institutions' portfolios.
970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: January 26, 2021, 07:53:43 PM
Op, I watched many buyers who bought at $36k or above and are now crying and asking whether they should hold btc or sell it. Your title is interesting but you should have added some more content to it to make it interesting for the reader to understand what did you try to say here. For others, please take this advice and note it that if you don't have enough time to hold, don't invest in btc because crypto is a high-risk market and anything can happen with btc also going to 0 (but that is never going to happen), so if you can hold till your targets are reached, then crypto will be your best investment.
971  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin dumping right now? on: January 26, 2021, 07:31:03 PM
Price back at $31k now but I think it's not over yet, a big fall might happen as the bull run is already over. Just like in the past, we've seen a bull run and the correction comes next, we have anticipated it already, we don't need to ride with the bullish mind as they only want to have a 2nd wave of FOMO.

You are underestimating btc this time. I agree with you on btc's possible dump though that it may see soon after this 2nd wave of FOMO ends up in a big red candle but this time, it is not about retail buyers but the institutions who buy btc in wholesale. I don't think we will see quite a big fall quick but it will drop slowly.
972  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Biden raise the federal minimum wage from 7.25 USD per hour to 15 USD? on: January 26, 2021, 07:00:23 PM
USA used their stimulus checks to buy enough btc and it is proven that during their phase 2, we saw so much buys from their side. If their wages will increase, so their expenditures too will not remain the same because either they will look and go for a change in their lifestyle or higher inflation will take place which will balance their new wages with the expenses they used to pay less when they had lesser wages, so an equation may be seen.
973  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 'BuyUCoin exchange' data breach on: January 26, 2021, 06:48:21 PM
This is the kind of reason we hate getting KYC'd for.
I wonder what will happen when these users' database goes on sale over darkweb? It will destroy the identity of many of those people who ever used this exchange and it is also a truth that many users of an exchange join it to use it once but usually go for a KYC taking into their mind that they will use it later, but never come back. What is their fault? What is customer's fault and why should they suffer?
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling All BTC for ETH this Bull Run on: January 26, 2021, 06:29:50 PM
Speculators who think eth goes in line with btc are just trying to fool you. When btc goes up, it rules and none follows till it stands at some point. Eth is looking too good right now but will fall because it rose so quick against btc. I wish you good luck with your investment if you are in already.
975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: January 26, 2021, 03:41:56 PM
You're just behaving like that person who bought 2 pizzas for 10k btc and he has nothing left but regrets only. Money doesn't come overnight, if you are here for that, go buy Defi or some shitcoin because btc has gone mainstream and it will take time for it to grow. It is not some penny stock that's worth $0.01 yesterday and $10 today (though btc used to be like that in its early days). If you cannot hold, then sorry, but Bitcoin will never suit your appetite.
976  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DEPOSITING times on exchnages... on: January 26, 2021, 03:05:27 PM
I don't risk time when it comes to depositing. I just go to Binance and buy btc or usdt with cash and start trading immediately as I get the coins in maximum 5 - 10 minutes which is enough for me to take the opportunity quickly because sometimes when you send with low fee or if the fee range increases due to mempool traffic, you will experience longer waits when getting confirmations, though long time till you wait for your deposit to arrive.
977  Other / Archival / Re: .. on: January 20, 2021, 11:08:50 PM
These are called Vanity addresses where you get your desired text in the btc address.

I didn't get Loyce's thread but here is another one which may be helpful for you - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5096373.0
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 20, 2021, 10:48:42 PM
I'm never worried about btc because I know that it will recover any moment and the recovery will be quicker than the drop. One big drop that got me was Xrp, I never expected that it will show such a huge loss in its value. I always trusted Xrp because it is a coin backed by very well established banks, and yet we saw what happened with it.  Undecided
979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: January 20, 2021, 10:31:40 PM
Sounds like a superstitious win if believed but yeah, people's dreams come true some day and so she had her day. People who run before money often attract it through rules of Universe, and they should now enjoy their remaining years while also donating some part of it for the covid victims. Great luck for the lady tbh.
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami mayor considers investing in bitcoin with public funds on: January 20, 2021, 10:15:54 PM
Through public funds, do they mean taxes?
I think they should start asking their citizens to start paying taxes in btc instead of doing a direct investment because indulgence of any Government into buying this means things will become more stricter for crypto users and they may also decide to restrict others from buying it to satisfy their buying appetite.
