Geeze, you really were relying on nothing going wrong with the timing of that last bid there lol Yep there was acertain risk involved. LitcoinCollector, I have sent you a PM. since I missed the deadline, I would like to buy this coin directly from before it is shipped out. Before completing the purchase, please message me.

Congrats Payment due to address in OP, please PM me your shipping details. Thanks for your interest, everyone! dammit... I misread this as 12:30pm. I am quite upset...

The other way around exists, though, for the 1BTC coins; ie, there were some 2011-dated 1BTC coins with Series-2 holograms.
That explains where my confusion came from

received my coin. it is quite nice!
|

That is what is known as "letting the market set the price".
last auction that did that, i scored an pair of S2 for 0.2BTC/ea + shipping Not funded I am sure..
|
|
|
Are you sure about that? My understanding has always been that that a signifigant number of coins marked '2012' have the S1 hologram. Perhaps I only assumed that because many were funded in 2012.

Do you happen to have a BIN price (But It Now)

I anticipate that in the future these will be much easier to sell, as those with bigger amounts invested gain interest.

I mean, if i had the available btc, id be most happy to buy it. i really don't comprehend how this cant be sold for 26 or 27 at a minimum.

Yep... That's one old Rolex, not that there's anything wrong with that. But the pics you posted show a watch in clear distress.. The Oyster band is showing signs of ware and tbh.. Its got an ugly face!
I'll pass but good luck with the sale.
If the price was right would you buy it? Let's say 4.25btc I really need btc and the local watch shop offered me 1200$ CAD for it (I'm hoping someone in the us buys it for btc because btc to cad is 300$ right now while its around 240 for USD) If i sell the watch to him and then buy btc, I'm gonna end up with around 1100 or less because of the stupid fees btc sellers take wait 4 times lower price than new one? is it broke or something? i think im missing something here Welcome to Business 101 that's how they make a profit. Also, check this site out; they specialize in buying used rolexes http://www.bobswatches.com/sell-rolex-watch

its a bit upsetting that it seems better to peel a casascius then to sell it. such a waste, though it makes them even rarer.
|
|
|
If you peel it my starting offer for the redeemed coin is .25 + shipping.
I offer 0.3

there was somebody last summer here who tried to pass off a fake Rolex. not saying this isn't legit, but use caution.

looks very good.
If i were to sell a coin like this, my recommendation would be to blur out the public key; it does not need to be public knowledge (though it isn't really a big deal) I dont think a chain of custody really has much value; its obvious that this is legit and id love if i could add this to my collection. good luck on the sale.

coin grading companies do not even factor in the stickers What do you mean? Does ANACS not even consider the stickers when grading? They do mark them 'damaged' if they is redeemed Correct they do not care. I need to post my thread up...I have been talking with ANACS. They gave me sample forms and are allowing me to collect questions for the graders. Oh, very interesting indeed. I'd love to participate in this, do keep me updated.
