981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV Supporters! Let's all Unite! Let's all educate newbies. on: January 16, 2020, 07:49:10 AM
For me I think it's really useless to fight and prove that he is satoshi because in the end even though he succeeded non will believe because of his attitude. And I think satoshi wishes to remain anonymous because a movement or a belief does not need to have a face or representation.

That's where you are wrong. One of the reason why we are fighting him is because he wants control over Bitcoin. Just imagine if he got the right to patent Bitcoin, you'll see him regulating Bitcoin everywhere. He will have the right to get more control to whoever uses Bitcoin, he will be the central control of everything. You see now? You won't be able to use Bitcoin anymore the way you are using it now when he won. I doubt it will happen though.

Next reason is that he is scamming a lot of newbies or people that are ignorant of the happenings here, he is misleading a lot of people. We need to end him as soon as possible for the sake of everyone. Just look at what happened yesterday, it was a complete nightmares to those who got FOMOed by those BSV fanboys and shillers.

Let's just hope that it ends this 3rd of February.
982  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Si Craig Wright nga ba si Satoshi Nakamoto? on: January 16, 2020, 04:26:40 AM

GOT EM!

I wonder where are all the BSV shillers and Fanboys at now?  Roll Eyes

I remembered someone saying that newbies should sell there ETH and Buy BSV at the highest peak price. Those who followed, I wonder how they feel right now? You might say anger maybe? regret? sadness? Just imagine how would you feel when you fell into this scam coin. That's why in order to avoid this from happening, we should educate newbies on how big of a scam BSV is.

I invite you all into a thread about Identity theft, one of the worst thing that a person could do. Let's help educate newbies about what is really happening here in the cryptocurrency space. About the ongoing faketoshi and his absurd ongoing crime.

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” ― Edmund Burke.

Let's educate everyone. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5215128.0

984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one ever sells, nor buys anything in BitCoin.. Think this is wrong, read on! on: January 16, 2020, 02:12:13 AM
I do use Bitcoin to pay my bills and other expenses using a third wallet app or buy something from an online store, what the fuck are you saying?  Huh It's the same principle with the dollars but much less volatile. I payed in Bitcoin at a reasonable but at the time that I want to pay for it, I don't care what happens to its price, they have the right to convert or it's just like converting dollars to other currencies like Peso or Pounds.

Of course it is still tied with the world's market price (just what do you think Bitcoin is?). For example, if I pay 0.058 BTC for a new set of computer, it will be valued at 500 dollars or P25,300 which is pretty decent. It's not like Bitcoin will be out of this world's market price just because it is a cryptocurrency. You are confusing people.

Would you rent an apartment that really operated on Bitcoin, priced  your lease in Bitcoin of 1/2 bitcoin per month Huh  That would have been great at the beginning of the year, and you would be evicted and homeless now as the price more than doubled.

Sure, I would be willing to pay in Bitcoin instead when the world have regulated it to the point of stability, it's not like Bitcoin will stay volatile forever.  Roll Eyes

How about get your salary paid by BitCoin

Why not? If it's available and Bitcoin had become a pretty stable currency, then I would be willing to get payed in Bitcoin. I have the choice to convert it or not. It's like working in a freelance website and getting payed in USD. I have the choice to convert it to my currency or not. Every currency fluctuates, Bitcoin is no exception.

WISE UP PEOPLE,  realize the difference between using bitcoin as a currency, and converting it t US Dollars to use as a currency  🙈🙈🙈🙈

It is the same, what are you saying. All the currency are convertable to USD. If people want to convert Bitcoin to USD, It's not like they are tied to Bitcoin alone. It's the same principle with paying Peso to an american shop, I can use Peso in order to buy something and they have the choice to convert it to Peso or not. You are still using a currency that has the same value with the one you are buying.

All currencies are tied with the world market.
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Craig Wrigt = Satoshi? Why only Bitcoin SV? on: January 15, 2020, 08:44:32 AM
It already stopped. You better sell those BSV now better whales do it before you. At the time of writing, it already dipped from $450 to $340, I don't see any more reason to shill this scam since whales already got their profit. By the time feb 3 happen, I'm sure BSV will just disappear from the cryptocurrency space knowing that their scam leader will go to jail.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Beats ETH very hard Soon on: January 15, 2020, 05:46:33 AM
Nice claims there lol. Those who sold their ETH for BSV right now is losing more money because whales are starting to sell lol. From an overpriced $450 dollars to a whopping $340 in a matter of minutes. How can you say that BSV is still not manipulated? Look at this sheep still supporting this scam even though the market speaks for itself. Don't want to believe me? Then go check the price.
987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Project Anastasia: Bitcoiners Against Identity Theft [re: Craig Wright scam] on: January 14, 2020, 11:04:33 PM

This needs to be highlighted more on the forum,
should we afford CW a special board or section
?

NEVER. He doesn't deserve the space.

He deserves a targeted and focussed highlight of his claims and
his impersonation. A place where all articles can be grouped in one
where we can all be informed and vent our hate at his antics.

He do not deserve anything. A thread is enough to do it to prove that he is fake and at the same time express your anger towards him with facts. Maybe a group of articles and proofs in a single thread against faketoshi's claim.

I personally think that this thread is enough for the community to reveal that what he is doing is an identity theft. Because newbies tend to not know about this kind of technical things, like the wallet signs and all those things that is hidden about Satoshi that only theymos knows. faketoshi can't prove a single thing. Veterans however have seen faketoshi's schemes long ago.

That's why we as a community should spread this thread on every discussion about faketoshi (aka craig wright) to help newbies be aware as they are the target of this scammer.
988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End to the Craig Wright FUD in less than a month - 3rd Feb 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 01:14:54 PM
Due to these hearings most of the Bitcoin Forks are all pumping. Bitcoin SV pumped almost 100% recently due to this news and it doesn't stop there. You guys probably forgot about the smaller bitcoin forks like Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond, they are also up this week by 30% and 25%, respectively. All of them are even outperforming Bitcoin Cash.
So, this was the reason why we're seeing these forks pump lately. I thought that it was a normal pumping for most of them but this kind of event is really taking care of the pump.
Waiting until Feb 4 and we'll see what's going to be his next speech.

The BSV pump is apparently because of their Genesis "upgrade"; at least that's what's being implied by the BSV shillers on Twitter. Not sure how it's really a good thing though as I've read on an article that it's pretty much just a complete undo of the code changes, back to an older version of the codebase. They probably need to take a quick look at the definition of "upgrade".

That's a good reason for this BSV pump going on lately. Some others suggest that it was a pump because of the last tulip key that faketoshi needs to win the court, though I doubt that he will deliver at all. Those fan boys probably think they won just because of this "mysterious" courier that will decide everything, I still doubt it. He will probably make another excuse to delay it again so I'm really not that hype for feb 3.

But if the court decides that he can't prove himself to be Satoshi and deemed fake, I'm gonna party like it's 1999.  Grin
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 14, 2020, 11:10:14 AM
Almost all market here in the cryptocurrency space is being manipulated right now. I don't think there will ever be a time that a stable and normal liquidity will come to those altcoins, especially the low volume one. The only thing that you could do is to invest and pray that the one you invested in gets pump by those whales. To be honest, newer coins are being insignificant this year so I think you should pick those in the tops and you will earn something by the time bitcoin pumps.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are giving too much attention on the halving on: January 14, 2020, 01:30:32 AM
You know why? most people are only it for the money so in order to create money, they need something or an event to create hype which in turn could result into a pump. What good way to do it is to wait for the halving where the rewards are split and miners will have to cope with the price in order to be profitable again. They will need to increase the price in order to correlerate with miners profit.
991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make mining sustainable on: January 13, 2020, 10:32:02 AM
I don't know man. As far as my research goes, the environmental impact of Bitcoin is basically nothing compared to the environmental impact of the cash system. There's already an increasing and improving way for Bitcoin to be mined without causing much to the environment so it won't really matter.

Instead of asking those mining enthusiast to come up a way or a solution to the problem (which I think they are doing already), why don't you do something yourself? Maybe plant a tree or something. Maybe donate to those environmental charities. Because no matter how many rants you make here in the forum but as long there is money, miners will mine they want even if the cost is a slight change in the environment.

Maybe make a movement yourself about helping the environment. I'm sure some of the members here in the forum will be willing to help you.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why you need to store your money in your hands! on: January 13, 2020, 09:53:46 AM
Maybe they are proven to have criminal records in those acocunts? We shouldn't judge what they are doing without enough context. I mean they are over the counter dealings, meaning they might have done with those dealings that they are deemed suspicious by Binance or by their local place. I think as long as you are not a shady person, you'll be safe from all those because Binance is one of the most reputable exchange out there and they wouldn't just ban their users because of petty reason.
:D on: January 12, 2020, 11:52:31 AM
After another posting yung regular na yung lalabas? Will take time to read about this.

Yup.
:D on: January 12, 2020, 06:58:59 AM

Grin

995  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isang sikat, willing tumanggap ng bitcoin! on: January 12, 2020, 03:16:29 AM

996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Fall Because of China Or Actually They Dominates Bitcoin Mining on: January 12, 2020, 03:04:54 AM
What fall? I don't get it. We are having a blast at the current price right now. Although we are still far from all-time high, at least we are now at $7,000-$8,000 from the lowest of 2019 with $3,800. During those days, china hasn't even involve in Bitcoin mining yet we are increasing in price. It doesn't matter how the hashrates is because bitcoin will adapt and corrects itself in order to be sustainable.

Though I agree that China plays some role in Bitcoin price. Remember when one of their official released a statement about cryptocurrency, Bitcoin pumped to $10,000 then dumped to current price.
997  Local / Pamilihan / [News] Bumili ng US stocks gamit Bitcoin sa Abra app. Ano say nyo dito? on: January 11, 2020, 05:29:46 PM
"CALIFORNIA-based investment mobile application Abra has launched a new feature allowing users in over 150 countries, including the Philippines, to invest in fractional shares of popular stocks and Exchange Traded Funds in the United States (US) using bitcoins.

Abra started here and in the US three years ago. Initially, it’s an app for investing in cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Etherium, Ripple, etc.), and now in stocks listed in Nasdaq.

“We just rolled up the stock investing feature a couple of weeks ago. This is the first time that an app like this has made it super easy for anyone in the Philippines to be able to invest in the US shares, and also invest in what we call ‘fractions of shares’ at the same time,” Abra CEO and Founder Bill Barhydt told reporters during their recent news briefing in Makati City.

He cited that the micro-investment they offer works in such a way that if the share price of Apple, for instance, is $200 apiece, Abra users can actually purchase it for $5 each, the minimum amount of investment per stock."

Full article at - https://businessmirror.com.ph/2019/07/13/abra-offers-filipinos-chance-to-invest-in-us-stocks-using-cryptocurrencies/

_______________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________

998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why We Think Craig Wright is Satoshi and Why That Matters on: January 11, 2020, 07:26:24 AM

Why I won't click on that article and why I won't care about faketoshi:

1) I know that your article will spill a bunch of bullshitery that focuses on the attention of the users. Bunch of gibberish words that doesn't even make sense in the first place. Maybe throw some facts so that people think it is legit.

2) Who dafuq listens to that scammer? Even if he doesn't have any solid proof that he is the real one, he still claims that he is. All I know is that he's probably one of the most insane guy in the world.

Not read the article and then guess what the content is. Great strategy to stay ignorant.

I feel like Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globe in this thread, lol.

I've actually read the article to stay educated and yup, it's bullshit. Though thanks to this kind of shills, I am making more money than I should have lol. Come on fan boys, pump those bsv even further until it runs out of milk.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forks were profitable today - what happened? on: January 11, 2020, 04:58:08 AM
Craig must have forged another document to prove that he is the real Satoshi and his bsv club believed him.
Roger must have increased the block size again and his bch gang became frantic.

Cheesy

I stand by this. One of the most accurate explanation why bsv and bch is going up again. Though I don't really care about their fan clubs pumping the price high as long as they are bringing more profit to my table.  Cheesy

But I pity those newbies getting FOMOed every time this happens.
