981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 31, 2023, 09:36:10 AM
I actually do not know if any new country is able to play test cricket. As I said earlier most of them are into T20 & ODI. The ICC cannot just go ahead and remove test cricket. Few countries like England, Australia and New Zealand have a good fan base of test cricket. Moreover most former and current cricketers won't allow ICC to take such a decision. This iwas the primary reason why ICC started world test championship.
Established nations are so good in test cricket, because they have a domestic 4-day system in place which is many decades or even many centuries old. No one can match the standards of Sheffield Shield cricket in Australia or the county championship in England. Even the domestic 4-day competitions in India, Pakistan, West Indies and South Africa maintain a very high standard. For new countries such as Ireland and Afghanistan, setting up such a system may take many years, if not decades (that is if they get access to enough funds).
I wish that ICC needs to make few changes with end the ODI format from 2031 World Cup, and we will have only two formats T20i and test with test needs to be in tier system top 6 and then lower 6 which will help them to increase quality, and they also need to work on T20i with having 20 to 24 teams in world cup and giving them chances into bilateral series and regional events surely going to increase good fan base and also having good marketing as well because now things are changing drastically in sports, and we will have also good changes for the better future of this game B-4 is already having good system for test and their finances are also allowing them to support this all, but now it's time for others to improve their system and quality as well because this is most important if you want alive in current world.
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 30, 2023, 08:41:41 PM
I don't have any issues in terms of casino as long as I can play comfortably, easy cash-in and cash-out, and also reputable. I don't usually stay several hours in a casino, sometimes the maximum for me is 3 hours, if I do get bored then I'll try to find something I can entertain myself. I only use casino for entertainment purposes only, IDK about some but there are few people I knew that would rather stay whole day in a casino to earn money, in short they are making it as a profession. I cannot say this is good or bad since I am not in their position, but based on what I can clearly see from them, they are enjoying it even if in exchange they are harming those who are around them like their family members and such. Besides, I have already grown tired reminding them about addiction and falling into the pit of no return.
I believe what almost every gambler looks for in a casino is a peaceful gambling environment with no issues and problems and peace of mind is also something everyone wishes to have which probably means that the casino should be a trusted and reputable one so that one can have in mind the thought that if they manage to win something, they won't have issues withdrawing their funds.

About the addiction, you mentioned and the time one should spend in a casino, I think most people even if not professional gamblers spend more than 5 hours on gambling only because they simply just can't let go of it as long as they have money left, that is how gambling is.
983  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 30, 2023, 06:53:39 PM
Usually old people don't want to take high risks, as we know that the potential for bitcoin losses is very high, old people will think rationally because they are no longer productive, buying stocks, gold or property is a safer thing for old people.
Although we know that they are not always very keen on technology or have much interest in it, I think they are not wrong in choosing the safer ways for investing their money and we shouldn't consider that bad because they've seen life more closely than us and they understand the risks and everything involved in rational and hasty investments.

They could be a part of Bitcoin and the revolution the world is witnessing, but they will need someone to sit beside them and explain everything out of love and with a smile on their face and believe it or not, aged people love it when you do that, and they will listen to anything you have to say.
984  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the price? on: March 30, 2023, 05:14:03 AM
Seems that people are forgetting about the bank crisis. Basically yields are slowly going up and most markets are climbing. Today is a pretty good day in the stock markets. I am assuming it will stay like this until another bank collapses.

Bitcoin looks like it wants to test $30K. Most likely sometime this week. There is a huge buying going around in Asia due to the bullish government regulations there and I think after we break $30K, we will get more buying and might go even higher.
That's probably right. SVB is back in the game again, their stock just picked up today which opened at $0.39 and is trading at $0.76 at the moment, that's almost a 100% rise in a day. So, it's probably a good day for the stock market as you said, and if the buying power on Bitcoin increases further, it will probably cross $30k even before when we expect it to.

It's having a hard time going to and above $29k at the moment, $28.8k has become the new resistance and only buying pressure can make it break through that, and then we might see it hit about $32k in a short span of time.
985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience of failure and success can help us control the emotions. on: March 29, 2023, 05:45:52 PM
Many traders experience losses because they struggle to manage their emotions, which can have a significant impact on their decision-making process and even lead to substantial losses.

experience plays a critical role in decision-making. This could be why many new traders experience losses, as they may not have enough experience to effectively manage their emotions and make informed decisions.
The reason while new traders get lost in most of their trader might be as a result lack of understanding the scenarios of Trading, because when you know when to be in trading market and when to go out of the market their's every tendency that you come up with profit, but a situation whereby a new trader is inquisitive to join trading without understanding the rudiments of trading, theirs is every tendency that it may end up venturing into negative side of Trading,  its very obvious.
A newbie trader can do a research and get idea of the other traders but they still lacks in experience, this is why once they initiate their very own trade, they might get scared when they see a little decline in the price and they can also experience other emotions like being too excited when they see a small increase in the price. This can affect their performance and the ability to make a good amounts of profits here in trading.

There is still a chance that they can improve their selves. They only need more exposure in the trading field. I wouldn't advice using demo trade or too low amounts because their emotion can also change. They will be more confident this way.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 29, 2023, 05:19:09 PM
In all fairness, everybody can create a token for certain purposes. I don't think there is really something wrong with that for as long as their goals and objectives aren't illegal, and there is no one or nothing that is deceived or unfairly taken advantage of.

During the months or years when ICO was very popular, the idea of tokenization has really pushed companies and all kind of developers to create tokens. What made them fail eventually was the fact that most of them were absurd, or at least not really a timely, necessary, or even a good idea. Worse, many are obviously scams.

This is the same opinion I have with this new altcoin. I think this is irrelevant or even created to make money out of thin air, as always at the expense of innocent supporters.
There are even tokens which came from the banks and the governments. They can encourage people on the same field. Maybe the OP think that coins like these are too controversial and can cause conflicts later on. It is possible but the issue won't grow huge as the attention of the people are easily shifted on other types of projects.

There are lots of them in the crypto space. ICO is only the first type of crowdfunding here in crypto but the idea of tokenization is already a thing after a few cryptos came out. There is no problem with that as long as what they will be releasing is not yet given by other existing projects because they will look like they are only after the hype/money.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zksync ERA is here on: March 29, 2023, 04:56:01 PM
it seems zksync got bigger funding compared with arbitrum but the airdrop itself is still rather unclear, there's no clarification whatsoever so everyone doing the swapping, etc in their blockchain should always be prepared for any scenario.
I read some tweet from them that airdrop wont happen this year and might take a year, so don’t get overhyped and continue to analyze. This could be bigger but there’s no need to rush based on their own statement. Did some transaction already, i just don’t know if its enough already because the fees are too high for me. Looking forward for the success of this project as well, this can be big.
I remember that the arbitrum team did the same announcement before. They say they are not planning for an airdrop but eventually they announce that an airdop is happening. Maybe the same thing is planning by zksync here. They don't want people to come only because of the airdrop but they want genuine people who like them for what they are and what they are offering.

I thought zkync provides another solution so why is the fees high? Hmm, I guess that is because they are getting a high demand from those people who want to avail of their airdrop. Zksync is not a new project but I already heard of them before so the title of this thread must be "airdrop era"  because I notice many solid projects are conducting it but of course their requirements are not easy.
988  Economy / Speculation / Re: 23 March 2023: SEC issues official warning to crypto investors on: March 28, 2023, 06:56:40 PM
It seems true, this statement is not something new, in fact every day we echo the same thing to anyone who wants to invest in bitcoin or altcoin. But underneath all that, I think they're hatching a plan to be able to prevent some people from entering the crypto space especially into bitcoin after the bank crash. This is a classic plan that may have been the first step to prevent many billionaires from turning to bitcoin, but sadly it cannot be prevented completely.
I think we shouldn't think in advance and be negative. They can also be sincere when they say that. They know that cryptos are unstoppable and they can't do much about it but only give people a piece of advice.

Even if they are planning on something to prevent people from entering, I don't think they will be successful with it. People knows what they want and they know that getting involved in crypto will help them on achieving their dreams so why will they allow someone to stop them? Banks have crashed last time but what was the connect of it to crypto? They better be concerned on the banks so that they won't experience the same issue ever again.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 28, 2023, 03:36:38 PM
Nobody is saying that PCB must not test new talent from PSL but the way new players are tested is not a wise move. If you see team of first 2 t20Is then majority are making debut or coming back to national team after a long break. Lets not forget that Pakistan is team that is playing more T20 then Test and ODIs. Already Pakistan has lost home series against NZ, Aus and England, and now this series is also lost. If you history of Pak vs Afghanistan then all matches are very narrow win for Pakistan. Still PCB decided to send a new team against mighty Afghanistan.
Tbh that's how you build a strong bench in any format, new guys need more experience in international too and this series wasn't high profile so it make sense.

First choice players need some breaks as well, as most of them just took part in PSL so the board needs to take care of the player's workload.
Best review about this series from your side because I was reading many posts mostly were feeling not happy with this result even for me this was good from youngsters those are looking for the better future in this game because after PSL big players need rest and Afghanistan was also not good side, so they take this chance for better things which are need of the time as well.

Few players have good future because their performance was better than expectations and few needs to check their own technique if they want to have better things in near future we always need to be positive but still good win for the Afghanistan and well played by all Pakistanis in this useless series.
990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2023, 07:18:35 AM
~snip~

Left 9 matches later for Thomas Thucel answer questionable about he was right choose replacing for Julian Nagelsmann or he can't give anything for Bayern Munich are close with Champion League and Bundesliga trophy in this season.
Of course this is surprising, Nagelsmenn is not bad he is good but the error in the League may make Bayern Munich worried. Management may not want this problem to be prolonged. Hopefully, of course, Tuchel can bring Munich back to number one in the Bundesliga and of course UCL champions. It seems like it was done at Chelsea when he started as a coach. Actually I didn't expect it to be because Nagelsmenn was good enough, and Tuchel might be an option to return to Chelsea in place of Potter.
First this was shocking news that Bayern Munich sacked Nagelsmann because he was doing good job and still have chance for win of Bundesliga with having better end in Champions League as well because with current form they have good chance for qualifying into next round after beating Manchester City but now as we have few new reports which are indicating this all just happened due to his personal life problems this is another bad news for him because this is surely big problem, and he needs to settle this before its ruin his good career and no club will give him chance as coach because things like these surely can create problems.

Now what is future of Thomas Tuchel it's also big question because his last job ended without any solid reason even he was doing good job so now can he handle this club from this point we have few days left for having answers of this question let's watch how he handle this all.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: March 27, 2023, 06:09:54 AM
I like to buy altcoins when the market is improving, or there is fomo about a coin, but unfortunately lately I often get liquid because of trading leverage, there are things that I understand from there, but I still have to raise capital again.
By getting liquid, do you mean that you get liquidated because you have been using leverage? If you are trading futures and having your capital liquidated all the time, it's better if you take a step back and first learn and understand everything about how leverage trading and margin trading work then you should go for futures if you feel that you have understood everything.

Otherwise, you will lose your capital again, especially if you are trading very volatile tokens in futures trading. It is better to stick to more constant coins and tokens like Bitcoin where the chances of getting liquated very quickly are minimum if you know how to place your limits.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 26, 2023, 10:18:14 AM
There is a really nice competition between Freiburg and Leipzig for the fourth position in the standings now. Freiburg are ahead by a slight gap for now but the balances can change all of a sudden.

It depends on which side to play much better. On next game week I think both of these teams will finish it with three points. I don't expect either Mainz or Hertha Berlin to make big difficulties for them. The final weeks can be really interesting about the Champions League fight as well. We are watching another similar scenario to the previous season. Let's see which one of these teams will make it this time. Freiburg lost this battle before.
Currently, both teams are having same level of performance and quality which is helping them for having competition for the fourth spot as things going right now most chance Leipzig can do better in coming matches because they have better attack and their defence is also giving them good spot, but Freiburg is losing on attack as their strikers are not effective and remaining schedule is also favourable for the Leipzig because they have mostly matches against weaker sides even prediction is not easy because in sports we can watch shocking results which occasionally happening around UEFA clubs but still with the current form and performance both teams will be having chances until last match of this season for having fourth spot in league table.
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 25, 2023, 08:41:40 AM
After this result, i was thinking how many gamblers would have lost the bet on this match. Pakistan being the superior team out of the two, almost 90% of the bet would be in their favor of them. So after this unexpected loss, all of those gamblers who bet on the Pakistan team have lost the bet. That would be too much money lost by the gamblers.

However, few lucky people who risk their bet on Afghanistan team would have been rewarded with higher odds.  Wink
I do not think so because now punters are not dafar as they put their money on a team which is having not big name and quality player because I have few friends from Pakistan on social media and mostly were feeling not good about this series as mostly were feeling PCB needs to pull out of this series because this is just going to play after Australia refuse to play against Afghanistan and players were not ready for this with just ended PSL and with this all we have no big name all new youngsters which perform good in PSL were in this team which is never been ideal to place a bet I am also having place my bet on Afghanistan with odds were only@2.3 which is also clearly indicating bookies were also aware about this match and result, so they not give juicy odds to punters now I personally have feeling Afghanistan can win by the score of 3 - 0.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I predicted Chainlink, Pancake and many others right. Heres my new prediction on: March 25, 2023, 06:15:59 AM
in the present altcoin projects that go up 100x from the initial price are more towards fake bullish, because there are no really new concepts at the moment, that's your right if you believe that there will be 1 out of thousands of new tokens that will give you 100x or even 1000x profit but don't forget that only bitcoin really gives you certainty (not fake bullish).
If they are also a fake/clone project yes but what if the project is original or unique? I think 100x is pretty possible on them especially if they are only given a time to grow. Their prices are still cheap so it's not that hard for their value to move upwards if they are getting a good demand especially if their supply was realistic or not that high. Bitcoin can give us a fake bullish sometimes or what they call a bull trap.

It's when we think the price will continue to rise but it was actually the opposite that is going to happen but Bitcoin was still the best crypto so far and highly recommended for those who are new here and don't know how to classify a legit crypto from the fake ones.
995  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: March 24, 2023, 06:20:30 PM
BTC is very successful platform for participation and as your are talking about 12k$ and 10k$ so I will tell you that we cannot realize about its worth in future but as we see that the present value of BTC is 28k$ and now its very attractive value to have maximum profit from it so we hope that during this year it will go more higher than this value.

According to evaluation of this year we have seen that at start the value was not such high but as the years passes so the value enhances more and more. this year is very lucky for those individuals who make investment at that time when price was very low as compared to present worth, at start the price was 19k$ but now its 28k$ so if one wants to get revenue then he will have maximum supply of money through buying at this time.
No, BTC isn't a platform but I agree that it is successful already. Some people are lucky to join early and also successful now but for those who are late, they still can do it as BTC value was once again low. Yup BTC is unpredictable so instead of waiting for those low numbers, why can't we just invest now and aim for more recoveries and increases as it's more likely than expecting a dump nowadays, now that the bear effect is expecting to wear off.

To get a maximum 100% profit in BTC is not easy but one must have invested in the earlier times. This is the reason why some go for newer coins but that was only risky. I still prefer smaller returns but with small risks also.
996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forever on: March 23, 2023, 06:44:50 PM
Welcome to the forum and I love how positive you are about Bitcoin but why are you adapting to it this late when you have been in the traditional system for so long?
Well just as other users have also said earlier, Bitcoin isn't get a legal tender and until it is declared a global legal, I think people should minimize how much praise they sign of crypto and also try as much as possible to also educate people as well in the dangers possession of Bitcoin can cause due to it's very volatile nature.

I also want you to understand that Bitcoin being like a digital gold just as you mentioned should be seen as an investment option rather than pressuring it to wanting to make it a legal tender.
Not all are lucky to know Bitcoin early and he is into traditional system for so long, so his focus might only be there at all times and he forgot or he doesn't believe on other financial system but it's great that he woke up and realize that the traditional system that he always support is not doing the same thing or care for him.

Bitcoin is already a legal tender on some countries and it's expected that their numbers will grow later on but even if our country isn't among the list, it was still possible to rely only in Bitcoin. Bitcoin originally came out as a currency. This was its main use but being asset is only secondary. We are actually encourage to use BTC actively as a currency as this could help Bitcoin to grow more.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: March 23, 2023, 05:45:00 PM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.
maybe in my opinion changing 100 $ to 7,000 $ on cryptocurrency we can invest in our money to coin altcoin which has the potential to rise rapidly hundreds to thousands of percent for example: Doge, Shiba, Babydoge but need to be recalled cryptocurrency high risk high returns maybe 100 $ We turn into 0 nothing is impossible in Crypto, don't carelessly make a coin. Research first before buying a coin to minimize our losses Stay Safe.
If you invest on them before maybe it's possible but I wouldn't recommend investing on them now because their hypes are already over. There might still be new coins out there that can pump just like them or higher than what they achieve but I recommend to make a research and pick the coins with good fundamentals. There is a trendy coin right now called ARB. Maybe the OP can invest on it now or wait for it to collapse a few days after the dumpers sold their coins for a much better rate.

For someone who can't afford to take too much risk, there are still coins which are less risky but still profitable. Bitcoin is of course first on this list. For altcoins it is Ethereum.
998  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitnity.com - a community-driven gambling platform on: March 23, 2023, 04:42:34 PM
I have the impression that the dev team behind this doesn't have a good bankroll to move fast with their developments.
It has been a while that I have seen this site, but up until now, only the dice game is working, whereas, other games are still in the "soon" stage.
This is the usual bottleneck of a community-driven platform. If the community supporting it is not so strong and the team is only relying from its possible community, the progress of things would be slow.
Unlike with casinos that are heavily funded by private individuals or companies, they can push thru their targets on a fast pace.
So if we won't hear anything from them, I believe, this can easily be shelved and be abandoned if they see that it is hard for them to deliver their targets.
It's already over a month since they have posted the thread, I think that's already enough time for some of the games to be created and opened but you might be right they have a lack of funds to be able to hire a dev for it because they are also looking for investors of their site. There is still a dice game there.

As of now this was only their hope to gather more funds if ever there are less or no people who are interested to do a partnership with them. It may be possible to run the casino in auto pilot mode. This is for them to make post on their other social media platform if they lack or don't have any other staffs for it. The replies/post doesn't always need to be consistent but as long it has a sign of life, I think it's already fine.
999  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and the Hart of humanity on: March 22, 2023, 05:58:39 PM
Desperation for money is not a good thing, we need the money actually but we should not forget that the money will end as soon as we stop breathing. I have learn somethings from bitcoin holders, they exist in two form, the first people that made money from bitcoin, some have used it to buy luxury cars and houses and acting riches even intimidating others and the second set of people are the hidden ones, quite alright, they have gain from holding bitcoin but you will never see them display wealth, you will fimd out that they help most of the time when people are in problem in this forum and I respect them, money is not everything to some people, we should learn to emulate this.
Money is still there and it will still circulate even after we perish in this world but you can not only spend your own money. This is why we need to ensure that we won't just hoard the money that we worked hard for but we must also spend it as long as we are still breathing.

I won't hate those people who buy luxury things because maybe it's their first time to experience it. They deserve it because they took risks and became patient enough to HODL their coin until it moons. Helping other people is also not obligatory. No one is forced to do it and not only rich people can help the poor but if you have a lot of money, you can be able to help more people.
1000  Economy / Speculation / Re: The SVB failure will help BTC alot. on: March 22, 2023, 05:04:34 PM
I agree with many recent bank failures that will bring more attention to bitcoin and will be an alternative for many people. But I'm not happy that these banks fail, and that doesn't benefit bitcoin either.

If the bank's bankruptcy does not stop but spreads, it is a dangerous sign for the world economy and will negatively impact the world. Once the economy is in trouble, bitcoin won't benefit too much. Banks are still the backbone of the world's financial system, and if it fails, they will cause so many problems that we can't even imagine.
Issues like this are not new anymore and I think many of the bank costumers have move in BTC long time ago. There are still some who are skeptical about BTC and have no idea on what it can do, this might be the time for them to find a new home for their money. Even if we are not using banks, what happened to them are still not good because they are causing problems to other people and like you I don't think it helps Bitcoin to rise in price.

I heard many crypto and blockchain businesses have now opened in Asian countries lately. That might be the real cause on why crypto such as Bitcoin as pumping nowadays. If banks collapse, I think Bitcoin won't be heavily affected because both of them are not related to each other so don't worry too much.
